Room had No hot water two of the days, no working water at all for a couple hours at dinner time therefore had to wait to shower and get ready with a 7 year old kid having to eat later at night. Neighbors were severely intoxicated and arguing very loudly, they must have fallen asleep with food on the running stove causing our entire unit to back fill with smoke and set our detectors off at 2am, Westgate’s way of making the situation better for us was extending our checkout time by ONE hour. After discussing with a supervisor at checkout they agreed to refund one nights stay but they require me to contact Expedia and have Expedia contact them in order for the refund to take place. Overall not happy which is sad because last time we stayed there it was an excellent experience.

Everything was great except they had an internet issue, because I found out later a worker had accidentally cut a line or something to that effect. My only other complaint is the rudeness of one of the workers at the Starbucks on the property. She was so rude to me infront of my 11 year old I had to explain to him that sometimes people have bad days and are just not kind. I was going to Starbucks daily but stopped after that just to avoid her. Other than that workers are super kind and helpful. I’ve never stayed at a Westgate before but there is so much to do on the grounds without ever leaving. I definitely recommend them and plan on returning.

This is a really nice resort with lots of fun amenities. It’s a bit confusing because some of the things you have to pay extra for, where as when booking and going around the property it seems like it is all part of the package, especially since you have to pay a resort fee. That feels off and could be handled better.

We had stay at this property last year and loved it, so we decieded to stay again this year. This year was definitely different. The first night, the low battery alarm went of at 5am. I had to call for the AC not waorking a coupel of times. The wifi was not working at all. And one morning when we were going to sleep in a bit, housekeeping came knocking and opened the door while were we sleeping. Mind you the \"do not disturb \" was on the door. I texted the facilty and never heard anything back. We were definitely disappointed beause we had such a great experience last year. I will not be staying there again.

I really enjoyed my stay here, very clean and staff gave thumbs up service. If I wanted to change anything it would be the distance from the building and the main building super big resort so be ready to walk. Also the bars by the pools were bee infested and the computer went down for over an hour and they would not serve us.

I really enjoyed the property my mom used to work at Westgate lake resorts and I used to drop her off and pick her up but I never stayed on the property well she died in 2015 so my recent stay was very nostalgic for me I thought about her the entire time I enjoyed the room so much I didn't go anywhere

There are several choices for pools, all of which we enjoyed. The walking trail along the lake was a great feature, as were the paddle boats, picnic areas, and miniature golf (which we didn’t have time to play).

Where to begin… pool bar and hot tube closed by our bldg, pool bar by main entrance on Saturday nite closed before 8 pm , fan in bedroom not working, sliding door to patio area very hard to open/close,kitchen area no bake sheets to cook pizza, rolls ect on, lazy river and lg tiki bar $25. to enter per person even after paying a $100. Resort fee so should be able to access that. Mona & Juan at time share/own a condo tour there very unhelpful, 4 adults signed up for tour, one married adult left wallet at home spouse had his got us to pay $20. Promise of $100 Visa card per couple to do 90 minutes tour refused us access due to one adult didn’t have her Fl ID as she forgot wallet, Mona who signed us up extremely rude to us. Denise at their sports bar , excellent person, housekeeping with our needs excellent. We will not return again very disappointing property to many things not opened up , heated pools… nope!

The water park is $25pp, not included in your stay. The property is not a walking distance to anywhere. To get to any restaurant, aside that one on property, one must take an Uber, unless you rent a car.

We did not enjoy our pool and hot rub area. The hot tub was only about 65 degrees maybe 70, so we ended up just using the jacuzzi tub in the room 2 nights in a row. Building 1500 pool area.

Pool was fine, a little dirty. Room had the heat on, when we switched to AC it only worked for a few hours then got hotter. The TV stopped working on the first day, audio only. Only 2 out of the 6 (or so) lights worked. The ceiling fan wouldn’t increase speed. The bathroom floor was dirty. The day of check out the AC wouldn’t work at all and just kept getting hotter, followed by a horrible smell that made us sick to the stomach. The hotel as a whole was fine but we had a BAD room (1616B).

Family-friendly, dog-friendly, clean, and a lot of activities avaliable on the property. The downside is that everything is an extra charge and expensive. Some staff was very friendly and helpful while others were rude and about as helpful as a poopsicle. Overall a nice stay and would consider visiting again.

From the room next to us that was the machine from the

My experience exceeded all expectations. The room was spacious and beautifully appointed, making it comfortable and accommodating in every way. From the very beginning, the customer service was exceptional and truly set the tone for the entire stay.

One of the things I appreciated most was that the property offered something for everyone in the family. There was so much to do that you never had to leave the resort to enjoy yourself. It was an incredibly fun and relaxing experience, and I’m already looking forward to returning.

Decent stay. Nothing amazing. Rooms are old and outdated. Lot of police and ambulances throughout week. A couple loud parties. Left my cologne in the bathroom and called to see if I could have someone ship it to me. Was put in touch with security and they won’t ship it. There goes $200.

The bathroom wasn’t clean. The room had a weird smell. You can hear anytime your neighbor opens the door your door will make it seem like it is opening. The check in staff was super rude. We were there with family and requested rooms as close together and we were 3 buildings apart. Parking was terrible!!!! After a long day at the parks and you want to take a nice relaxing shower that won’t happen. There was zero water pressure in the shower. We ate dinner at Drafts I do not recommend. Food was not good or cooked correctly. Thankfully we saw on our receipt gratuity was automatic, as the server nor the menu said anything. We did have 6 people in our party two were children and we were on separate checks. I would not stay here again or recommend it.

We stayed in a 2 bed 2 bath suite. Fully stocked kitchen if you wanted to cook. Family friendly property. Several pools and hot tubs on property. It said the pools were heated, but when we went in Feb/March, they were kind of cold and we didn’t go in them. The property has a coffee shop, ice cream, game room, pizza, small marketplace/gift store, they sell beer and wine in the market, paddle boats, mini golf, pickle ball courts, and bikes. It’s a large property with a lake and walking path. The only thing we weren’t fond of was the set up of the master BR. The shower is right out in the open. So, if someone is in the room, they can see right into the glass shower. Thank goodness the toilet has a door lol overall, we had a good stay. The location was excellent. The transportation that the resort offers is kind of unorganized (no one knew what time the last pick up was), one day the bus was completely booked so we had to uber and the one day we were actually able to catch it, it took us almost an hour to get to the park because you stop at other properties and drop you at City Place and then you still have to take another shuttle to the park you want.

The room was great! Very clean and comfortable bed. The only suggestion that would make it better would be to have some blackout type curtains over the slider as we were right by one of the pools and so the lights were bright all night and the vertical blinds just didn't keep the light out. Other than that it was a very easy check in/out process and there was a lot to do from pools to hot tubs to a water park to restaurants and even a little store. We would certainly stay here again!

The floor in the lobby when arriving was filthy.
In the room, there was dark hair on the sheets and in the shower there was dark hair on the walls, both indicating they were not cleaned. I reached out to have them cleaned and housekeeping showed up but when I went to take a shower later, the hair was still there. Not a great stay.
