This propertty is always fixing or do something new and it always looks messy . The studio room is a joke and not worth the money. The app is not user friendly, the so call, things happening around is not clearly noted and you can moß the events. Just too chaotic.

You have to pay $25.00 a day per person for the waterpark, and you have to pay to use the boats. Not all pools had music or an open bar for drinks and food. Also had three out of 7 days that our AC was not keeping up.

There was a lot of good and some bad. There were a lot of things to do and we would've liked to enjoy them more but it seemed like certain things were preventing us from enjoying them fully.The wifi wouldn't stay connected, or pick up a strong signal and calling their IT service did nothing. These days it's pretty important to be able to connect to it. Their shuttle service wasn't helpful because we couldn't ever find a driver to take us to our building. It was annoying especially because our room was far from the front desk where the shuttle to the theme parks picks up and drops off nearby. The a/c didn't operate properly when we first arrived, but an a/c tech came and fixed it quickly. All other amenities were enjoyable and the arcade was a highlight because of the several free play game cards that we received upon arrival. Also the fishing was especially fun. The bike rental was nice, but we would've liked the option to rent for longer than an hour, when it wasn't busy. The operating hours at the marina were at strange hours of the day, if you're going to universal studios and ride the 10am shuttle to it and catch the 7pm back to the resort, you would never enjoy the marina, which is where you rent the bikes, fishing equipment and golf clubs and balls. The stay was a fun experience overall

I wanted to let everyone know to stay away from this resort. They have BEDBUGS!!! I found one on my pillow that obviously was feeding off of me the whole entire weekend because when I killed it, blood went all on the sheet. When I let them know that morning at 5:45, they told me they would follow up with me. I had to get in touch with them just about every time. They found more and after that did nothing but let me know they did what they were supposed to do. Well if having bed bugs and not doing anything for your guest is what you’re supposed to do, then you succeeded. I had to deal with all the protocols when I flew back home, without any kind of compensation for any money I spent to make sure I did not bring any into my house. They offered nothing. I would have been happy if they took a little off my bill or something, but they did nothing. I would not recommend any one staying there and I will never stay at any of their resorts ever. I would not advise staying there. I was there the April 17-20, 2026.

We enjoyed our 1-room villa to rest and relax after a week long cruise. The proximity to SeaWorld was the primary reason we chose this property. We were pleasantly surprised by the space and amenities of our villa unit. Its basically a 1-BR apartment with a kitchen, dining table, living room, separate bath and shower with jacuzzi tub, as well as a washer and dryer. We did not get a chance to enjoy the on-site amenities, but they looked fun.

We walked into our room and there was something all over the floor, there was no smoke detector which I am almost positive had been missing due to the person that had to come out had to rewire it, and the air was not working properly. They were quick to get someone out to fix the issues, the second night we had the air set to 69 and the room did not go above 60. There was a leak in the unit below us so they had to be in our room to fix the bathtub and we found 2 roaches that I was told they were normal, they did offer to send pest control but since we were there for a short trip and all of our items were in the room I kindly declined.

Overall very good experience - a few things were minor issues: 1) there was an adjourning door to another suite and it was quite noisy at times, 2) dishware in the suite was a bit too sparse and quite worn, and 3) would appreciate a heads up when cleaning comes in - one time I came in and house keeping was there (my wallet and personal stuff was sitting on the counter - although nothing was touched it did feel and invasion of privacy) - otherwise staff was very helpful and friendly, parking was great and the room and balcony was quite nice.

The pools were great as always as well as the Drafts sports bar. We had a cockroach in our unit, our A/C didn’t work, and there was a bug in our sealed ice that was delivered. We have been here at least 5 times and this was a surprisingly disappointing experience.

Clean room nice front desk staff air-conditioning work perfectly and all the amenities were perfect for kids. The waterpark does close at six so make sure you get there early.I only had one problem and that was getting towels which came hours afterwards so I just took a bath that morning.

We have stayed here twice now for a cheer competition at the Orange County Convention Center. It's a convenient location to Uber from. About 15 minutes away. Both times it was very clean. The beds were comfy and it was nice to have a kitchen, very convenient. This is a large property, it's walkable and they have shuttles, but that may be a concern for some!

The rooms were extremely nice & clean. Staff was AWESOME and always accommodating. We did utilize the complementary laundry and we’re very thankful for that since we flew here. We liked the drafts bar and grill however, we do miss the deli that we used to be here. We would often get lunch and split from the deli and they did not have that anymore. They now have the pizza and ice cream.

I appreciated the laundry in my room. It came with plates and a full kitchen. The staff was helpful enough in regards to requests. Property is huge and requires much walking to get from one part to the other. If the shuttle is running, it isn't too bad, but we did not see a lot of them on certain days and hours. All the pools were open, but none of the water parks were, which was disappointing. I would skip the high pressure sales pitch to buy/tour the timeshares unless you're interested or your ability to say \"No\" is strong.

This was the most horrible place I have ever stayed in my life! No hot water, broken air conditioner, stuffy rooms due to no air conditioner. A broken tv and even when reported nothing got fixed. AND to wrap it all up they had a short wiring that ended up electrocuting me! My finger has this constant annoying buzz slash burn, my chest hurts, i feel hot and dizzy! This place is absolutely terrible do not come.

Do not book this hotel. They scammed me! I booked a 1 bedroom villa and got downgraded to a studio with no refund of the difference. So upon arrival the check in staff was rude and booked my family at a building that was so far from everything. When we enter the building 80, OMG! When you enter it smells like urine the carpet is disgustingly stained my son saw a mouse running at the hallway, the room they gave us looks like a prison cell, old smell musky and dark! My kids were literally scared. We went back straight to the lobby, I requested a different 1 bedroom room. The man Keon at counter apologizes and switch our room to a studio downgraded our accommodation and said he’ll refund the difference of the room rates total. So I agreed.
Comes to find out the upon checkouts the manager elizabeth rejected it and said I agreed to the downgrade for the price of the villa! So I overpaid $200 for small studio. I WOULD NEVER AGREED TO LOSE $200! They offer $60 refund which is NOTHING!! I will dispute this scam!

They advertise onsite parking, and while that’s technically true, there is nowhere near enough parking for the number of units.

I stayed from 4/3–4/9 and not once was I able to get a parking space—and I am disabled. I made them aware of my condition before arriving, and I was assured I would be accommodated. That did not happen.

It got so bad that we actually had to skip going to the theme parks because I was afraid that if we left, we wouldn’t have a place to park when we returned. Imagine having to tell your child you can’t go to the parks because of something like that.

The only option was a parking garage multiple buildings away, and I had to pay for a golf cart just to get assistance. My son even witnessed another disabled woman who was physically shaken dealing with the same situation.

The worst part? No accountability. Not even a phone call.

I gave them 20 days to reach out before filing complaints—nothing. Based on my experience, I honestly question the reviews. The property is outdated, overcrowded, and poorly managed.

I’ve been to Disney and Universal many times—both peak and off-season—and I have never experienced anything like this.

I will say this: Expedia was excellent and truly tried to help resolve the issue. Unfortunately, **Westgate Resorts refused to approve any resolution. Expedia still made an effort to make things right, which I appreciate. They had the nerve to use staffing for the delays!

I would not recommend this resort for travelers accustomed to standard hospitality. Unlike any other resort I’ve visited, they do not provide housekeeping services unless your stay is longer than 7 nights. When we requested fresh towels, it took over three hours for them to be delivered. Furthermore, the check-in process was exhausting; we were forced to listen a 20-minute sales pitch just to get our room keys. To top it off, the pool bar was already closed by 5:00 PM, which is very disappointing for a resort.

I had to walk to the front of the property because my key card didn’t work after leaving to check in. Staff on the cart wouldn’t give me a ride to the front and wouldn’t take me back to my building. They told me to catch the shuttle which didn’t come. So I had to walk with my bags to the front and back to my building.

I was in building 1000 and had a great view and I was super close to the pool and water park. The jacuzzi tub was a nice perk.

Great time lounging by the pool there was always a lounger available. The drinks by the pool were a bit pricey $15 a piece and not very strong.

The water park was small but the lazy river was fun and relaxing. To note there is a separate fee of $25 for the park and it closes at 6:00.

The property still has great amenities; however, the rooms are a little dated and the kitchen equipment is almost non existent. It's extremely close to a Walmart and Dollar Tree so it was easy to grab what we needed. The cost is very affordable, it's clean, and relaxing. Overall a good stay and we would come back.

The suite was very nice bigger than expected and everything was included in the kitchen to do a long term stay. It’s a decent property but it’s dated. Still a good value for the money compared to other hotels in the area. You need a car to get to the universal area or the main strip where attractions and food are like ikon.
The overall property was very busy, lots of people and kids. Maybe not the best for an Adult or couples getaway. Parking was difficult some nights having to park far away from our suite and walk through the rain to get there. Pool area was nice and clean. Probably a great value for families with kids. Not a fan of the “resort fee” either. Price should be the price end of story.

My family and I have always stayed at westgate for years! But this visit was just terrible. For one there was no hot water at all so we had to shower with cold water for 3 days. The bathtub didn’t work. (There was no water that came out of it) and there was even mold inside of the bathtub. The security to get into the actual hotel part is so busy talking to everyone that there’s always a huge line to get in. This place has really downgraded … and to think this is a timeshare?!?!
