Extremely dirty! Smelled like cigarettes. The shower was awful. It had hair as if someone had shaved and it wasn't cleaned at all. The bath mat was black. The sheets were stained. Rugs stained. No tv connection. Couple next to us were arguing and slamming their door all night. Bad all the way around!!!! Would not recommend!

The owner was rude and cursed at us when we were asking for assistance. The bed skirts were dirty and unwashed. No room service until the day before check-out. Key fab demagnetized several times daily. The pool was shut down with a health department paper posted on door also gym no access. Roaches nasty carpet. Heater didn’t work in 25 degree weather. The water took long time to heat up if at all. Was changed to 3 different rooms within a 7day stay with no improvements. It was a horrible experience. My money should absolutely be returned for the nightmare I had to survive 7 days there. I’m not from there and was visiting from California. Absolutely unacceptable and disgusting behavior and surroundings!

I recall staying here a few times a year after Dinner next door and the place looking very clean. My last visit saw the deteriorating value, especially the elevators with missing buttons. I don’t blame the employees, but do wonder if the owners even care. The amenities in the room like the shampoo was empty, so the cleaning crew needs to step it up abut. The breakfast for a weekend was not as expected, and decided to go elsewhere to eat. So overall, the value is great, the front desk attendant was very nice, but the appearance of the hotel is looking run down. I hope it steps it up again as it’s a great location, especially with Red Lobster right next door.

The property was in disrepair and the staff was unable to change our rooms until after 11pm when we checked in at 4pm and told the rooms were unacceptable. There was no pool the fitness room were not in working order . Basically the hotel lacked staff that were able to address any issues. I have used hotels .com several times in the past and never had such a bad experience. I can not recommend this hotel for any price .

Stains on our sheets, couldn’t find a hand towel without nasty stains. There were no soaps anywhere in the bathroom. Kleenex container empty. Garbage everywhere on the ground outside and a mattress laying on the ground by the front door. Really the list could go on and on. When asking the staff for a refund I was told no refund.. and then ignored while the man went about the work he was doing. Ignoring me while I tried to talk to him.
Absolutely terrible place to stay. What you see in their pictures from their website is most definitely not what you get.

Our stay was horrendous. This was my third year in a row booking a room here. The first year was an average stay, not great but not bad. Last year was weird.. like shady characters hanging around and the elevators were broken down (staff didn’t even bother letting us know at check in) so we were hauling luggage up and down stairs. The cheaper price had me booking a third year in spite of these minor things. But never again. DO NOT STAY HERE! I wouldn’t stay here if it was free. Or if it was the last holdout in a zombie apocalypse. You would be better off taking your chances in a zombie camp. If you DO decide to book, don’t assume there will be any amenities available - even the most basic things. Swimming pool is condemned, fitness center is closed, breakfast is a joke and hit or miss if they even open it. If they do open up for breakfast, expect a waffle or piece of toast and shriveled up apples. Towels for the bathroom? Good luck. We had to ask repeatedly for them, had to explain why we needed a third towel (3 people in a room with double beds?! Hello?), told no, sent on a hunting expedition for them, and they even had the audacity to tell us we needed to bring down our dirty towels first. There are clearly people living here. There’s trash everywhere. Expect bags of trash and dirty diapers lining the hallways. Plan on pinching your nose so you don’t suffocate on the overwhelming stench of weed through at least the whole floor. This place should actually be shut down.

I had a very unsettling experience at this hotel and checked out within minutes of entering the room. The lobby was in complete disarray, and guest paperwork was left out in plain view, which felt especially unsafe as a woman traveling alone. Outside, the parking lot was littered with garbage and mini liquor bottles, and the elevator was missing buttons.

The room itself was unacceptable — a strong odor, water stains across the walls and ceiling, holes in the walls, and the bathroom floor was wet as if someone had just showered. The bed was damp and visibly stained. We did not stay even 10 minutes before leaving.

I tried to cancel immediately but was told I had to go through Expedia. After multiple attempts, I couldn’t reach anyone at the property to resolve a refund despite never actually staying there. Overall, this felt unsafe, unsanitary, and extremely frustrating to deal with. I would not recommend this property.

This hotel was just okay—adequate for getting through the stay, but nothing more. One room had a used bar of soap left in the shower and cigarette holes in the bedding. Our key card stopped working and had to be reactivated, neither of our two rooms had shampoo, and the TV didn’t work. When we first arrived, the lobby strongly smelled of weed. It wasn’t a terrible stay, but there were several basic cleanliness and maintenance issues that should have been addressed.

Everything!! This place has turned into a homeless shelter. There are guests staying there 2 weeks at a time through the city of Hartford. I am so disappointed. I’ve stayed here 3 times before and this time was a nightmare. Barely anyone at the front desk to ask for assistance. They never answer the phone. You have to call about 10 times for them to answer. Only 1 elevator in service. My stay was for 3 nights and everyday I had to reactivate my room key as when we would go out and come back the key didn’t work in the door. Then waiting for a front desk staff to show up was another wait. One night another guest was also waiting for a room key as he was locked out and in socks. One of the nights we came back to the hotel and a lady staying there decided to just urinate in the elevator whilst my husband and I were in there. Whoever was on staff that night just brought a wet mop and swished it around then proceeded to places wet floor sign. Meanwhile the elevator is soaking wet. And to top things off I left a bag in the room upon checkout and housekeeping just kept my stuff. Didn’t even put it in lost and found. I called back to inquire about my belongings and that was a whole other chore. To speak to someone about my belongings. To be told well that’s your responsibility but housekeeping didn’t turn anything in. Ok well they kept my things. This whole experience was so upsetting. Never again!!!!

Walked into the lobby with a lady arguing at the frost desk. Decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. Had a lady come into the lobby and go up into a room clearly on drugs. Got up to room, key didn’t work first time. The bed sheets had cigarettes holes in sheet, and pillows had no structure to them. The tv had no remote, the icing on the cake and what caused me to promptly leave and cancel and get a refund was finding a dirty towel shoved behind the bed with what looked like 4 day old rice and black stains on it. I got my money back and promptly left. I will not return

They didn’t have front desk staff, and then when they did show up, they didn’t know how to do anything they needed. When we finally got to our room, it hadn’t been clean, the sheets were stained and gross, the bathmat had been used and the toilet had clearly been used and not cleaned. There were people arguing all night and we could hear them through the paper thin walls, breakfast was an hour later than they had said and no one was there to check us out. I ended up waiting for a while then just leaving the keys on the desk and heading out. It was one of the worst stays I’ve had ever. Our teammates also had similar experiences, finding vomit on their bed!!!!

There was no breakfast one day. When I spoke to the manager, he told me I could go to another hotel if I wanted. An employee tried to open the door repeatedly with his key without warning or requesting service. I was inside and had to go to reception myself because he sent me to verify that he needed to come in and take the microwave to another room, but I didn't agree. The staff's attitude was poor. The key stopped working twice. They never came to clean or change the towels. The pool was closed, and there had been a sign since November. I won't be going back.

The hotel room was absolutely disgusting. The bedspreads had visible burn marks, and there were bugs underneath the sheets. On the floor, women’s fake fingernails were scattered throughout the room.
The bathroom was in terrible condition, with stains all over the tub and peeling paint everywhere. The refrigerator even had dead bugs inside it, and the rug was pulled up from the floor. The room smelled strongly of weed mixed with some kind of cleaning solution that clearly wasn’t effective.
I tried two different rooms, and both were unacceptable. I stayed no longer than 20 minutes before deciding to leave. Despite the conditions, the hotel refused to issue a refund. Expedia contacted the manager on our behalf, and they still refused. Expedia eventually provided a $25 credit, which was far less than what I paid.
I would not recommend staying here under any circumstances.

Avoid this hotel at all costs.

We booked this hotel for five nights and could not tolerate staying longer than one night. The conditions were unacceptable and the place felt unsafe and dangerous.

From the moment we arrived, the staff were rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. Any concerns we raised were met with attitude instead of solutions.

The smell of weed is everywhere—hallways, common areas, and even inside the room. It was constant and overwhelming, making it impossible to relax or feel comfortable, especially as a family.

Cleanliness is far below any reasonable standard. The overall environment feels neglected and poorly managed. Lighting is inadequate, amenities are extremely limited, and nothing about this property gives a sense of safety or care for guests.

We left after one night because we genuinely did not feel secure staying there. This hotel should not be marketed as suitable for families or extended stays.

Save yourself the stress and book literally anywhere else.

The inconsistency of each room; I stayed in 4 different rooms (1) room tv was broken (2-3) either had no towels or there's one (then if you go down to ask for more you're waiting like 20mins for someone to come to the desk and the (4) no trash cans or chair. The free continental breakfast inconsistent as well, one day there's eggs bacon sausage, next booking just eggs or just muffins, todays booking breakfast is to be determined........

The inconsistency of cleanliness is a lack there of but there is on certain floors a difference. If booking a room ask for the 2nd floor because it smells better when getting off the elevator.

Be prepared to pay a $100 fee for "smoking" because they assume you smoked in the room if you're melanin skin. Whole time I'm here with my children and I don't smoke.....tried to charge me more than 100 talking about there isn't enough on the card yea of course not if you trying to be sneaky and charge more, I only put 100 on my card....she tried it lol.

On the plus side the beds are softs

Quick and easy check-in, then downhill from there. Buttons missing in the elevator, very worn out room, TVs in the whole building had no signal for the entire stay and were so dated they had no usb port to stream from a smartphone. Toilets had to be flushed twice to empty even just paper from the bowl, cockroach spotted in the shower. Heat and A/C worked well, but lighting in the room was poor. Room key re-set daily resulting in lockouts, broken elevator buttons on the 3rd floor lobby, so took the stairs down to find an alarmed door to outside and a blocked door to the lobby with a note saying “do not open”. Had to take the stairs back to the second floor to take the elevator to the lobby every time. Very affordable, but no shampoo and no face cloths. Also, nobody answers the phone when you call the front desk. Would not recommend.

this hotel was the worst I've been in. TV didn't have cable box so no TV for my children or I ( no one offered to switch rooms, was told maintained was coming to come fix it and look at it but only housekeeping came open the door and left) The continental breakfast was a joke watered down juice and coffee and bagels with no butter or jelly out. and don't go ask for any towels blankets or silverware they will tell you after 9 am. no toilet paper in the room and blankets where stained. and staff was disrespectful with no care. they are running this hotel how they would in India.

Paint on walls chipped, elevator not very clean and only one operating and doesn’t stop at 2nd floor. 2 bed rooms were double beds, however, beds and pillows were clean and comfortable. The tv couldn't get any stations, and when I inquired at the desk the young girl manning it tild me she can have someone come look at everything after 10pm. Still blue "tape" on bathroom floor from when they installed the new tile, and dirt, yes dirt in every corner of the bathroom. The breakfast that was included was horrible.... only water and coffee to drink, no juice.... eggs were made with water........ Never ever again..... and I thought the "Comfort Inn" was a reliable name....

Do not stay here - it needs to be shut down!

We entered the lobby and were greeted by three big garbage bags and a smell right next to the elevator, as well as a roach crawling on the counter. As we checked in, hoping that was not a sign of the room status, we then were interrupted by a couple who complained about 11 health code violations in their room/hallway. We checked our room, again hopeful, and decided to check out after 20 minutes of a dog barking in the room next door and mysterious stains on the bed and floor.

Disgusting

It was absolutely disgusting carpets were all stained up towels and pillows were filthy the elevators were missing buttons and the 3rd floor elevator buttons were being held on the wall with tape. I was so surprised how poorly kept this facility was . Not to mention the front desk was run by Indians with terrible ancients and was so hard to understand . I would have rated this a ZERO but that wasn’t an option . I wouldn’t recommend this place to any one ever !

I will never stay at a Comfort Inn ever again. They charged my card when I wanted to pay cash without asking. The fire alarm went off at 3am and being significantly hard of hearing I did not hear them. No room alarms went off or lights for hearing impaired to indicate an issue. No hot water for a shower and the food was cold and no covers for coffee.

The girl was awesome at front desk!
No hot water when I checked in but some in the morning. Remotes battery I believe was dead.
Could use some paint. I booked real cheap and got a good nights sleep. All is good

No towels in the room upon check-in and when I asked for towels I was only allowed to have 2. They would not give me more. Breakfast staff carried food in dinning area uncovered. Only 1 toaster worked. Outdated every where.

The room was filthy, the building was in disrepair, the elevator panel on the third floor was held in place by painter’s paint and the buttons were not working properly. The staff was so rude and dismissive. We are a family of four. The room had two towels only. When we asked for more, they asked us why we need four? Our reservation is for four people. They told us we will have to wait until tomorrow because they had been very busy that day and they didn’t have more towels. I will not be back to any Comfort Inn.
