There was an error in the number of beds, but we were able to get it corrected with no problems. The man who checked us in was polite and accommodating. The hotel is clean and well-kept. The breakfast is excellent. I stayed here a number of years ago and it is still just as pleasant as it was then.

when we arrived (2 parties) to check in to the rooms, we were told they did not have any rooms, .and they were just purchased by Leonardo and were having issues. I said this is not my problem.. after 20 plus minutes we did secure a room. I had to come back an hour later to get mine. they tried to give me a room with two beds. I informed the front desk that I did not have a refrigerator or a coffee pot or supplies. the next day when we came back the room was not cleaned or did we have a fresh supply of towels.After going back down to the front desk and informing them , later on they did clean the rooms and i did get a coffee pot. As too the breakfast I have seen better selections and especially at the Linddner were we just stayed before coming here.That place was fantastic. I would like to point out two young ladies who did come to our aid for getting the rooms clean and a coffee pot. nuctari krathum and cicia caballero. they went above and beyond customer service.. thank you Jack Licata

Staff were amazing and let us check in a little early after travelling through the night. The room was very clean and the shower was amazing. We also used the free transport available and had the best time. Location next to the central station and underground. Staff were friendly and polite and did a lot for us, thank you very much. I would return to this hotel.

This hotel is very convenient to commute to Messe (by subway) and Munich station (by DB) for October fest. It takes 2hrs and 40 minutes by DB train from Nuremberg station to Frankfurt airport station (no transit is required)

conveinent for train station. had to wait in the morning to use lift to leave as cleaning staff using them to transport equipment for cleaning rooms. would not have a problem if this was after 09.00 hours but being on 4th floor with luggage and being elderly i was not pleased.

Fair priced hotel within walking distance to the main train station. Clean rooms with a polite staff. Our room was towards the train tracks so sleeping with the window open was difficult thankfully the room had air-conditioning so it didnt really effect us to much. We will definitely be staying here again the next time we visit nuremberg.

With making my own cup of tea (which I bring from home). What happened with wash cloths? First time Ive been in a hotel who don’t supply them. Is this a European thing? If so, funny because my Mom was from here and she introduced us to them! (Also sold as sets in Canada for decades.)

The only two good things about this hotel are
-right next to the train station
-two lovely ladies working at the front-desk, but if you happened to meet the manager Mr. Frank when you checked in then good luck to you, it's completely hopeless!

The bad things are
-The hotel looks more like a student dormitory, except the lobby is decorated with modern styles.
-The room is very simple and small with no comfort, out-dated furnitures, mini-fridge doesn't work and bathroom looks like in 60s/70s.
-The safe batteries went out after locked our stuffs in, we couldn't open it and had to wait till the following morning to have the hotel engineer to change the batteries. What a big burden if you have a early train to catch the following morning!!!
-It's a way way over priced considering the amenities that hotel offers.

One issue - but overall, a decent stay.

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights on a recent trip, and were mostly satisfied with it.

We had one issue in that several rooms did not have working air conditioning (in July!) so our first night was a hot one; however, hotels.com helped us to work with the hotel to move us for day 2 and 3 to a better room and we were offered partial credit from hotels.com. The whole thing was handled okay, but it seemed like something that should've been mentioned before we went up to the room.

Beds could be more comfortable and there is only one pillow each - but this is a budget option hotel and for the price, the room is good - comparable to an ibis. Beyond those things, we found the staff friendly, the location excellent, and the hotel clean and modern.

The hotel is next to the train station and near the theater and the entrance or the city. I think for one to two nights it’s a pleasant place to stay while visiting Nürnberg. + The room was clean + furniture and other items were updated in the last couple of years. + the room is set up for travelers. For example, there is a place to put your luggage and a nice closet. The only negative would be it is next to the train station and if the windows were sound proof it then would be excellent. Overall very good.

It’s small size but clean. The typical German pillows were too small and very soft; need to request for additional ones. Requested for room not to face the railways but was told to upgrade. It can be noisy when trains are moving in & out of the station. Location is good though as it is close to the main train station.

Location is very convenient, just a few steps from the train station. In general, the condition of the hotel is fine. My only very big criticism is about the bed; I've been travelling actively for almost 15 years - have never tried to sleep on such a hard bed! My strong recommendation please change them immediately.

Good location nearby trainstation and in a quiet steet. Nearby old Town and walking distance to everything in Altstadt. Only bad thing is the noicy trains, all night, in the train station. Not very good sound isolation and this kept me awake. Otherwise a nice hotel, clean. Only thing missing are some television channels in, lets say english:)

1. Nach einer internen Kommunikationspanne wurde noch nach Mitternacht versucht, alles wieder sehr schnell zu lösen (und hat auch geklappt).
2. Zusätzlich benötigte Sachen wurde innerhalb von ein paar Minute direkt ans Zimmer gebracht.
3. Beim check-in wurden einem direkt die wesentlichen High-Lights der Stadt benannt und in einer Karte markiert, abgestimmt auf den geringe Freizeit.

Quiet backstreet hotel close to railway station, main rail lines, city centre and the mediaeval walled centre. Noise from the railway was not audible from my room facing this way. Air con available in rooms. Friendly and helpful staff. Street parking possible in front of hotel, no fee on weekends.

My trip was cancelled due to COVID-19 (trade show was cancelled) and this hotel is refusing to refund the money! They told me they can only re-book me for another date in 2020, which they knew was totally useless because so far Germany doesn't even accept travelers from USA and even if they will at some point this year the purpose of my trip was to attend a trade fair, which would only happen in 2021.
The management of this hotel only worries about their profit and not about customers. They basically took my money and keep hiding behind their \"policies\". It's very typical for German \"hospitality\" industry - they feel that as long as their policy is followed the customer can go pound sand. Needless to say, I will never stay at this hotel again and will actively discourage anyone I know who travel to the trade fair to avoid this hotel at all cost. This hotel jacks up prices for very mediocre accommodations during the fair (I paid close to $300/night for room that typically costs $125 on a non-fair day) and refuse to help customer in any situation. All I wanted was to re-book my room for 2021 in order to attend the trade fair next year and I was brushed off like dust when I tried to communicate with the hotel.
If you must stay at this hotel, always buy some sort of insurance, otherwise you're on your own if you need help. I'm sure they think they're completely right, because they followed their policies, but this customer will never forget.

Pleasant stay. Only complaint was the beds aren't comfortable and we had really noisy neighbors taking phone calls in the hallway on speaker phone.
Other than that, hotel was nice, don't forget to ask for public transportation passes at the front desk when you arrive. If you get them Saturday, they are also good for Sunday.

Hotel right next to train station and close enough to walk into town. Also provided with public transport ticket for going out to old Rally Grounds. Lovely old town. Just need to wear earplugs as a bit of noise from trains. Air Conditioner that works, clean and comfy bed. Value for money great. Room is not large, but enough for a two night stay.

Hotel is in a good location by the train/ subway station and a few minutes walk inside the walls. The staff were pleasant and the hotel is clean, the only issue was that our room was right on the train tracks and they run all night, with numerous carriages that sound like it will never end. There was also drilling an hammering at 7 am on a Saturday which we weren’t impressed with. Generally ok.

A perfectly good hotel for a couple of days - but probably worth asking not to be on the side where the trains go by the window (unless you are a train spotter who enjoys identifying different engines by the sounds they make while shunting). The hotel is quite well located for the city centre in just a few minutes walk, and the train station with all the connections is of course very convenient.

Breakfast seems expensive at the price but well worth it, bacon and scrambled eggs, salad, fruit, vast selection of cold cuts and cheeses - excellent! Free WiFi also worked well (not always the case in many hotels).

We spent two nights at this hotel. This hotel is very close to the train station. The front desk clerk was nice. Our room was very small and it was on the first floor. We were ten feet from the train tracks. We could see and hear the trains coming and going till late at night. If you open your window you can hear the announcements coming from the train station. The beds were so low that it looked like they were meant for children and they reminded me of the beds you get in a college dorm. However, because of the convenient location and the closeness to the train station we overlooked everything else. We walked to the castle and the church from here but it is a quite distant. It helps that there are a lot of shops, vendors and a farmers market along the way. We took a bus to the museum. I can not comment on the breakfast because we did not go in for breakfast. Also because just about every street has cobblestones I was glad I had my walking stick with me. It helped me tremendously everywhere we went.
