It would've been nice to know more clearly that the lovely looking jacuzzi and sauna from the pictures are by reservation only, and not included in the cost of your room.

Also, don't order flowers or shaving kits ahead of time - I received an email with offerings to reserve these things for the room, and the front desk had no idea what I was talking about. We're on our honeymoon and it's also my wife's birthday - I would've loved for the flowers I ordered to have been there when we arrived.

Aside from these few quirks the room was nice and clean, and the hotel's location is perfect for spending a few days in Deauville.

The location was good. And it was clean. Huge bonus is they have AC!
They set up a bassinet for our daughter.
And breakfast was expensive for what they had.

We had to leave one day early because baby wasn’t feeling good.
Though we left before the check out time, since we booked it under non-refundable deal so ended up wasting money.

Overall a nice hotel in a good location.

Walls are paper thin; you can hear noise from rooms and corridors next to, above and below. This woke us up quite a few times in the night, and early in the mornings too.

Breakfast very expensive at 14euro per person! Parking is extremely limited; there was no space in the parking garage for us so parked on a nearby street for free (5 min walk). Staff weren't able to provide much info on the local area or many recommendations (eating etc).

Excellent and affordable hotel close to the beach, the casino, restaurants, and shops. It has air conditioning. You don’t need a car to go there. It’s very close to the train station and the parking rate is expensive but you can park on the street. Beautiful town.

The hotel is in a great location with only minutes flat walking to the local market, great restaurants and bistros, great morning\" le petite dejeunais \" ,the local supermarket and only 10 mins to the beach.

The patio rooms on the ground floor provide relaxing and reading space but unfortunately tends to be a haven for smokers

Beware thereis no kettle or coffee and tea making facilities available in room.

Absolutely loved my 6 day stay even though I was travelling solo

Very pleasant hotel. Garage parking they advertise has a caveat in that it only takes very small cars so if you drive a standard sized car or bigger, you're out of luck and must use street parking which during high season is a big challenge.

A comfortable hotel to stay in. My one complaint is that the room was unnecessarily dark due to heavy coloured net curtains. While they were necessary for a degree of privacy as the room is overlooked and also adjacent to the terrace, white and more sheer nets would have helped make the room more cheery, especially as the lights were not well positioned to light the whole room. Apart from that the room was perfectly comfortable and quiet.

Terrific hotel, convenient for everything.

It is a short walk to the beach, casino, restaurants and the station. Also handy to walk to Trouville for restaurants. Very clean and well maintained, with pleasant staff and good amenities in the room. Only lack is the inability to make a warm drink. We had a very enjoyable stay here.

Quiet hotel close to everything!

It was the final week of our trip to France. The hotel was relaxing, the staff was able to get us anything we needed and the market and restaurants were all within a five minute walk. The hotel accommodations were not overstated, but very clean. We would stay there again---

Staff very nice, hotel was well situated for all amenities. The manager was very helpful and told us the areas where we could park the car and in fact we parked just round the corner so parking is no problem in that area. we enjoyed our visit very much.

We stayed on the patio. It's a shared space, a kind of courtyard, with no view or privacy, but felt quaint. The room was scrupulously clean. There were blackout shades and it was incredibly quiet. It was downtown, in walking distance of the train station, port, casino, grocery store and wine store. Would recommend.

Hotel was comfortable in a good location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Access to the underground car park was fairly tight so it makes it easier if you drive a smaller car. (current daily rate is 13 euros - well worth it). Hotel serves breakfast only,which is continental, but they can provide pizzas in your room in the evening!!!
Breakfast room also doubles as a lounge and bar, and there are a few tables in the courtyard which has outside single storey rooms.
We were looking for an hotel which provided comfort, value for money and a good location.
We were not disappointed

Very convenient, great location and quiet.

We saw a previous review that said that the curtains were too thin, but the breakfast was great. Our experience was the opposite. Yes the curtains were thin, but the Windows had shutters. The breakfast was very disappointing in terms of choice, and the staff not very engaging. On the plus side, the coffee was very good.

We would stay here again if we go back!! Perfect location; right in the middle of everywhere you would want to go and can easily walk. They even give you two free drinks at a casino down the road. Very friendly staff that helped with everything that we needed and all of our questions. There is free parking around the hotel, a bit busy but we found spaces open down the block. Very modern looking and clean. We loved our stay!

Great Hotel in a convenient location

The Almoria was a nice, clean, comfortable and conveniently located hotel. The welcome my friends and I received was warm and helpful. There was a garage to park the car for a nightly charge (although its a tight squeeze to get out of so not recommended for long or wide cars) and there is plenty of free parking in the streets around. Its a short walk to the main town square and a little longer to the beach front but still not quite 10mins walk to the beach and the race track is just behind the hotel. My room was on the first floor in a room facing onto the main (very busy) road in front and I was not disturbed my the traffic at all. The sound proofing is surprisingly good. I would definitely recommend this hotel again.

We got a larger room with a sofa bed to fit the travel cot which had ample space. The quality of bathroom and furnishings was excellent as is the breakfast. Only criticism was that they could do with tea and coffee making facilities as we were hoping to use baby boiling water for sterilising the bottles. Location is good being close to restaurants and supermarket, although the beach is a decent walk away. No stairs is good for a baby too. Definitely would choose this hotel again for my next visit to Deauville.

The perfect little getaway

The hotel is very well placed, only a few minutes walking distance from all the restaurants in Deauville and 5min from the beach. Usually work puts us in 4-stars and above, but having learned that the star system doesn't always represent what you get we took a chance on this 3-star hotel when most other options were outside our budget. This turned out to be a good gamble. Our rooms were on the ground floor, accessed through the courtyard at the back, which gave a feel of having your own apartment or bungalow instead of a hotelroom. Wifi is fast and free, and the breakfast was very good. We spent two nights there and for someone who has a lot of hotel nights in a year it was great to be in a hotel without feeling you're in a hotel. Next time we're in Deauville, I'll make sure to book this hotel again.

A great hotel

It is conveniently located, close to the station, no need for a taxi, only when it rains!!!!
Restaurants, racecourse, shops and casino everything in a close area.
When the windows are closed it is very quiet in the room.
Staff are very friendly. You can have a drink or something to eat any time of the day or at night. No trouble to have a breakfast at 6 in the morning.
We felt very welcome and recommend this hotel, lots of smiles from the staff.

Average hotel in a beautiful town

The hotel had a range of rooms each with plus and minus factors particularly the use of space. Although half empty they seem to have allocated use to one of their worst, a tiny wardrobe with only half length hanging, dark with limited sitting space. We had asked and paid for a superior room and only when we protested did we get shown a range of alternatives we choose the one which featured in our booking details for which we were charged 10e a day extra! From early evening onwards the reception is manned by someone who only speaks French and has no English at all.

A very nice mid range hotel in this rather exclusive resort. Clean, smart, well located, friendly and helpful, in as new condition.
Nice breakfast - extra to room rate.
The back rooms look over the race course - how nice is that?
The resort is full of interesting buildings, a huge clean beach, a large casino, a race course, eateries, what more can ask?

Great room without doubt. I was left with the feeling that this place was starting to loose it's sparkle already. The gardens were a mess of dead or untended plants.
Parking was quoted at 13 Euros per night, hey you can park on street outside free from 19:00 to 09:00. Breakfast at 13 Euro each way over the top, plenty of choices in the town far less. OK for a stopover but not for long stayers.

Almoria is stylish and cozy!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is great for seeing Deauville or Trouville and is in walking distance of everything, including the beach. The staff was pleasant, and we absolutely loved our room. There were comfortable cushy armchairs, a great bed, impeccably clean bathroom with a wonderful deep bathtub and a heated towel rack, and a reasonably priced mini bar. The decor was really modern and stylish too, even the bed linens which are usually the worst part of a hotel room in my opinion. We ordered breakfast to our room in the morning, it was delivered very quickly, and we were very pleased with the quality.
I would definitely recommend this hotel to others, especially younger budget-minded people who still want to feel a bit pampered.

Great hotel. Choice of patio rooms which is a communal patio outside the main dining area, so they are not private. If you want a little more privacy, then go for an upper floor. Breakfast was good, even though limited choice. Parking is available for small cars - one of those impossible to get into French garages!

Logement exactement comme décrit. Balcon très appréciable surtout en plein soleil. Dommage que ce même balcon ne soit sujet à davantage de nettoyage (il y avait qq détritus par terre et des toiles d'araignée). Sinon la chambre et SdB étaient propres.
