Only good thing was the location, after that it is all downhill. No adequate parking, staff was completely clueless. My wife speaks 7 languages and I speak 3 (French is one of them) and front desk had no idea what was going on. The beds were small, like dorm room small. Id like to say we travel over 100k a year and we're just in Ireland where the rooms were great. I would not book here again.

Great stay to explore Normandie. The breakfast spread was amazing. We had the family suite, 2 levels and very private. Bathroom and cups/dishes could be a bit cleaner, otherwise the rooms, bedding were all great. Free night parking right outside. Felt very safe at the marina.

The staff were very nice and agreeable. It's a fine hotel for the price. The only slight issue was the breakfast because the eggs were powdered I think or, at least, not very good. Hard boiling was the way to go. I think the breakfast options could be better overall. Other than that, it was good.

Well worth booking.

Great location close to the centre, beach and Trouville. Good value, comfy bed, great pillows, underground car park which we used. No real vegan options, just some toast and fruit, lots of veggie such as pancakes, eggs, cheese etc. I would happily book again.

Extremely uncomfortable bed and unclean room. The electric kettle gas never been cleaned in the inside. The carpets look awful. The property is unkept and run down.
We had to move to a different hotel mid stay to get a bed with a real mattress .

It was close to everything, generally nice staff, but when one night there was very loud music coming from the parking lot behind (not part of the hotel), I asked the night staff to do something about it and at first they said it was not their problem and weren't willing to investigate or help, until I insisted.

Disappointing stay

Wifi was not available. With curfew beginning at 6pm one would assume the hotel would take care to ensure customers are able to enjoy entertainment of their choice while restricted to their room. Also, the hotel policy seems to be to group all clients in rooms at the same end of the hall. I assume this is for convenience of the cleaning staff but it is not a sensible solution when a quiet room is requested. Would it not be possible to offer a room at the opposite end of the hall if a client requests a quiet room? Staff was very pleasant and did their best to empathize considering the situation.

Fantastic location. Great views of the marina. Can park underneath the hotel for €10 per night.

Family room was a good size and had a mezzanine level. Pull out sofa bed incredibly uncomfortable and springs very noisy when turning over. Other beds were all comfortable.
Bathroom was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned well at all.
Food - we booked half board but it wasn’t clear on the booking that this was for the adults only. We had to thus buy meals for the children, which whilst it was a good price, it was frustrating as expected this to be included.
Meals were tasty and good service. Good selection for breakfast.
For a hotel in the centre of pricey Deauville it remains a good option if you accept it is ‘budget’ and can get a room for a reasonable rate (and can avoid sleeping on a sofa bed)!

Well priced hotel in a great, central location

Well priced hotel in a great location in central Deauville. The room and bathroom are cosy but comfortable and spotlessly clean with a good sized walk-in shower. Our only criticism was that the bar did not serve drinks beyond 11pm on a Saturday night and did not warn residents who were in the lounge at the time. The car park is well priced and secure and far better value than parking on the street. Would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Deauville.

Great room on the 3rd floor with a small balcony overlooking the marina. couldnt fault the view at all. The room was nicely decorated and was very clean. the bathroom was very modern too.
The surrounding area is great, with deauville just behind the hotel and trouville a short walk in the opposite direction. I loved every bit of my stay here

This was another IBIS hotel that exceeded our expectation..from our arrival and greeting to our departure was a great experience !!
The room was clean , the beds were comfortable and the wifi was excellent .. IBIS thinks about the anticipated needs of its guests .. lots of plugs, lots of light options
Treat yourself to the duplex especially with kids .. beautiful harbour view and lots of room

Big Advantage With a Car

We've stayed here many times before, but not since it had a full refurbish in late 2007. It works better now with the new dining/breakfast area. Breakfast is much improved and the new type of bed is much more comfortable. The location is hard to beat as it is 10 minutes to Deauville town centre and 5 minutes over the bridge to neighbouring Trouville with it's abundance of reasonably priced restaurants. All things considered, this hotel is hard to beat in this price range. Parking in hotel garage is a problem solved.

Great location, not so great service

We stayed for a night and a night at the end of a trip in France, the location of this hotel really couldn't be better. The hotel car park was also convenient and not too bad at 10 Euros for 24 hours.However, the service isn't great - the reception and bar service were at best grumpy, and on occasion, quite rude. They also tried on 2 occasions to over-charge us for drinks at the bar. The rooms are ok but in need of refurbishment really.

Upon my arrival, I was given the smoking room, that seems to be the only one on the first floor. The room was swamped with awful smell, and asked to change the room. I requested a no smoking room when booking but there wasnt any excuse for the mistake happen. The bathroom was poorly equiped and it wasnt clean. The breakfast was a mess, the coffee was tasteless and no fresh fruits were served. The hotel should improve their service and cleanness.

Das Zimmer war nicht ganz sauber als wir ankamen, vor allem das Bad!
Z.B die Handseife war leer. Sowas sollte man als Personal sehen, wenn man das Bad reinigt und für den nächsten Kunden fertig macht. Handtücher hatten einen seltsamen Geruch. Mischung aus alt und nicht richtig gereinigt.
Im Bad keine Heizung!! Super unangenehm nach dem duschen in einem kalten, klammen Bad zu stehen.

Das größte Problem war das kaum schließende Fenster. Das war derart verzogen, dass ein fingerdicker Spalt nach dem schließen noch vorhanden war. Kalte Luft ging permanent rein. Wir haben das Problem gemeldet aber innerhalb von 4 Tagen war weder jemand da, noch hat jemand nochmal beim Check out was dazu gesagt. Ergo Heizung auf volle Stufe, weil das Zimmer permanent abkühlte.

Frühstück war mittelmäßig. Die Tische nach dem vorherigen Gast dreckig und man musste regelrecht das lahme Personal bitten kurz mit dem Lappen den Tisch wieder appetitlich zu machen. Besteck dreckig, Auswahl vorhanden aber die Qualität war mehr als naja.
Das Hotel ist auf dem zweitenblick halt doch ganz schön runtergerockt. An den Wänden Flecken, abgerissene Türrahmen, im Aufzug vergilbte Infoblätter an der Wand. Mit aufmerksamen Personal sicher einiges mehr möglich.
