The hotel is near the beach and the estuary. There is plenty of cheap parking nearby. Our only criticism is that there is no air-conditioning. Apart from that we would recommend the hotel. The town is well worth visiting.

Although near the beach, the hotel is not on the beach, as it appears in the photos. Rooms are renovated but very simple, smelly toilet area and shower-head that sprayed on the ceiling. Not a bad stay, but definitely not a 4-star hotel, 3-star at best. Not worth the price, unfortunately.

Short break in Trouville

Location of hotel is perfect, in the middle of town. Hotel has been done up, very clean. Plenty of parking out front (we had forgotten to book the hotel's covered carpark), but it was off season so might be a lot busier in the summer. Staff for check in and check out couldnt have been nicer and more helpful. Highly recommend!!

2 STAR HOTEL RATING - NOT 4 STAR

I am not one to ever leave a bad review. However, this hotel should be rated a 2-star hotel not a 4 star hotel. The hotel is not very clean and the mattresses are very hard. My family and I thought we were sleeping on the box spring and checked to see but it was in fact the mattress. During a pandemic, all hotels are not allowed to have house keeping come into the room during the time of the stay. There were no “do not disturb” available to us either for this reason. When we left the rook and came back, our room was tended to. Clothing we had perfectly laid out on the bed for easy organizing for our evening was moved off the bed and put on the floor in a ball as if they were being discarded for laundry, in fact it was all items we had laid out on the bed, and the bed was remade made. This made us very uncomfortable as to who may have been in the room given the uncertainty of cleanliness because of COVID. The walls are very thin and you hear everything at all hours of the night. If you want to have a restful a d comfortable stay I would not recommend this hotel. We were all exhausted and in pain because of the lack of sleep and comfort because of the beds.

This is not a 4 star hotel! The hotel is very outdated. We have booked a room with a port view but all you see from the room is a parking lot with a small canal, the rooms that had the port view were on the left side of our rooms and when we asked the receptionist she said that this was the port view. Rooms are very small and the bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast was ok, I wouldn’t pay $15 for it. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location is excellent!

The lady who did our check in was excellent, she was friendly and efficient. She was helpful and gave us tickets for the casino next door - free champagne offer if you spend 10 euros - we came out 40 euros up and enjoyed the experience.

The front desk person was rude. I gave him 50 Euros for taxes and he gave me 45 back in coins and was very upset at me. Then he gave me the worse room possible. The room was dirty and had huge cobwebs. The bathtub and sink contained long black hairs. They refused to clean the room or give me another room. The hotel was empty so he could’ve given me a clean room. I don’t know the language so I was very vulnerable. The next morning I showed the front desk ladies photos of the cobwebs and trash outside the room window. They seemed not to care. In the morning at 8:30, they started repairing the elevator which woke me up from a sudden sleep. Overall it was one of the worse hotels I’ve stayed at.

Everything was great and most of the staff was incredible, but the manager on duty during our check out was extremely rude, unprofessional and yelled at us like children. All other staff we encountered went above and beyond to help make our stay a great one, especially the night desk worker who was so kind to us when we didn't get in until 3 am because of a transportation snafu at the women's world cup game. We called the front desk to request a late check out due to the late night arrival and were told we could check out two hours later. When we arrived at the desk the next morning, the woman in charge began yelling at us claiming that she had been calling us all morning (phone never rang) and that we were keeping her staff from being able to clean our room. She was extremely condescending and very rude to not only us but her staff as well. There is no way we would stay there again as long as she is employed at this hotel, she is a complete nightmare.

Enjoyable experience

We enjoyed it. No air conditioning, but the temperature in the room was fine. We were there before the summer season began, so not sure whether noise would be a factor with the windows open during the summer. The staff was helpful and friendly. We stayed in Trouville-sur-mer so we could take some day trips to Omaha Beach and Le Harvre; it was a good location for that and also was a cute beachfront town on its own.

Close to amenities and Deauville. The room was of a decent size and correctly equipped. But some stains on the walls of the wc were quite disturbing.

Overnight visit

This hotel reminded me a little of \"Faulty Towers\", our room was very tired and lacked some simple things like hooks in the bathroom, toilet roll holder hanging off the wall, etc. Although they did provide a coffee maker, you were only given two pods and no milk. The lift was very hit and miss. This hotel could be so lovely, it is in a wonderful position and if brought up to standard would be a wonderful place to stay.

Newly renovated and central location!

Check in was easy and the staff courteous and friendly.
The hotel and rooms looked newly renovated and were spotless. Clean and comfortable rooms with complimentary drinks. There is no A/C but this is to be expected in most French hotels.
We also had breakfast before leaving and it was good. A lot of food variety (pastries, eggs, sausage, toast and jams, cereals, ...).
Next door to the casino and Trouville city centers packed with bars and restaurants.

Perfect location to explore Trouville-Deauville. Convenient walk with luggage along the canal to Beach Hotel which is located and visible next to Trouville Casino. Explore the charming small side streets of Trouville, Take the surprisingly inexpensive 5 min. ferry ride across the canal to Deauville for a short visit.

we checked in late after midnight and the staff was very helpful. there was a bar at the reception, mini bar in the room, swimming pool we could see from the window. our room had a nice view of the beach as well since we booked an ocean view room. perfect experience for a weekend get away. if you're going with your boyfriend/girlfriend, there's no way you can't like this place.

The hotel is apparently 4 star but it is very basic. The sheets on our bed did not fit. I had to remake the bed myself to allow any sheet on my side of the bed. The towels were tiny and threadbare. Why don't hotels supply bath sheets. The toilet roll holder fell apart every time we touched it. The light fitting in the bathroom was damaged.

There is a coffee machine and some paper cups in the room. Once you have used the coffee supplied on day one you are expected to purchase more. We were staying for 4 nights and this just seems petty and mean. Would it be too much to ask for proper cups and refills of coffee daily.

The location is great for the beach and that is one of the reasons we chose it. Another reason was that the hotel had a bar. My partner is not able to walk far and so we chose somewhere that he would be able to sit down and have drink if I had gone out. The bar is in fact just the reception area.

All in all I would say we had a good time despite the hotel not because of it.

This hotel suited our needs to explore Normandy. Great base and value. We didn't spend much time relaxing at the hotel as we were there to explore the Normandy region. We were able to park in the hotel garage by making a reservation ahead of our arrival date. When we arrived our room did not have a view of the ocean but the hotel reception desk found us a partial ocean view at no charge. Room was clean free mini bar. Casino right next door. Restaurants and beach in walking distance. No charge for pets to stay. Friendly staff.

Hard to find, but shouldn't have been.

We knew it was close, but hadn't realised it was at the back of the casino. A 'no entry' sign put us off the direction. 'Beach Hotel' is a good clue. It is part of same building as casino. We had only one night here, but liked Trouville enough to consider returning.

Établissement formidable, nous avions une chambre merveilleuse avec une vue exceptionnelle, très propre, le personnel est adorable, à la réception nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’accueil de Ingride, très souriante et très disponible, le petit déjeuner est vraiment très copieux, de bonne qualité ( beurre portion individuel, confiture en petit pot) la salle est très propre, le personnel est bien organisé, tables nettoyées dès que les clients ont terminé, le personnel est souriant et agréable ;
le buffet est toujours bien garni et la vaisselle est raffinée !! Tout est réuni pour passer un bon séjour… nous y reviendrons !!

Un séjour parfait du début à la fin !

L’emplacement est absolument idéal : en bord de mer, avec une vue magnifique sur la plage et à deux pas du centre-ville. La chambre était confortable, très propre et lumineuse.

Le vrai plus était l’accès à la piscine, ce qui permet un séjour d’autant plus reposant !

Le petit-déjeuner était copieux et varié, avec des produits frais et de qualité. Le personnel a toujours été souriant, disponible et attentif, ce qui fait vraiment la différence.

Je recommande vivement cet établissement à tous ceux qui recherchent confort, qualité et hospitalité !

Emplacement parfait , le personnel très aimable , souriant et serviable Top ! Petit déjeuner très copieux ! Pas de restaurant dans l’hôtel mais il en a pleins autour de l’hôtel . Il n’y a pas de climatisation mais un ventilateur est mis à disposition ! Un peu compliqué pour se garer surtout l’après midi, un parking payant est disponible juste en face sinon il faut réserver en avant auprès de l’hôtel un peu plus cher que sur place !!

Très bon séjour de 2 jours à Trouville

Très bon séjour, avec un très bon accueil, une équipe présente. L'hôtel est vraiment très bien situé, à 50m du casino, dans le centre de Trouville.
Le bémol réside sur les chambres qui mériteraient un coup de neuf, et manque de prises électriques.

Séjour d’une nuit globalement correct, mais quelques déceptions. À notre arrivée, aucun stationnement disponible malgré la mention d’un parking sur Expedia — réservation préalable non précisée. Accueil mitigé selon les personnes. Chambre correcte avec literie confortable, mais ménage perfectible (voilages tachés, pare-douche entartré). Petit déjeuner très bon et geste apprécié pour nous permettre de manger avec notre chien. Bon emplacement, mais certains points questionnent la classification 4 étoiles.

Hôtel standard et dans surprise. Chambre vaste et confortable, déco sobre. Tout près de la plage de Trouville mais un peu éloigné de Deauville car pour s’y rendre, il fait rejoindre le pont qui est situé à 15 min de marche. La piscine est un peu vétuste. Adresse sûre avec un bon rapport qualité prix.
