餐厅、人员服务（搭帐篷，in-room dinning等）都达到5星标准，但走廊隔音以及空调、排风系统糟糕。

最差的是排风系统，明明是无烟房，却在浴室传来脓肿烟味，导致半夜11点多换房。
而且明知我们有带2岁孩童，还有这样的安排，极度失望。

应该起码免掉我们一晚的房费，因为是夜晚11点才换房，导致小孩12点才睡觉，严重影响第二天安排，送了我们一程几十块到码头的包车。

赌客比较多，半夜很多怪声。

Everything was spot on in the room, it was so attentive to see the sweets offered in the room. Staff was very welcoming and friendly, the hospitality was amazing in this hotel. However, was disappointed the swimming canal was closed in autumn time, it was actually the main reason to choose this hotel but no luck to experience it.

Only one regret from our stay

Galaxy’s facilities and amenities exceeded expectations. The room and common areas were kept clean and well maintained. The pools were especially lovely and fun for both adults and kids. In general the property is nice and modern. The experience was very good with all. The only disappointing thing was the annoying is staff member ringing the room bell, even I had switched on \"Don't disturb\" sign. They justified that the time is to check out at 1pm, even I have already extended the stay until the night time!!! Unprofessional from them!

Short vacation in Macau Galaxy Hotel

Good choice for short vacation for couples or family! All staffs are nice and passionate. Room is tidy and comfort; the only disappointing issue is the room have very strong smell of cigarette throughout the stay even we request a non smoking room. There are lots of choice for dining, from fine dining to street food. Swimming pools are amazing.

This property should tell prospective customers that its main clientele are Mainland Chinese.

I was attracted to this hotel because of the pool facility. I booked the hotel to for a mid-week stay. I went to the pool in mid-afternoon, and couldn't even find a chair in the pool area because it was so full. The changing room was typical of the kind you find in mainland China - wet and dirty.

The casino's smoking lounge is full of very weird people. Exchange Chinese currency. Selling China cigarettes and betel nuts. Many gamblers are decked out in clothing that's usually worn by Chinese criminal gangs with matching tattoos and close crop hair styles.

The biggest features are the water park like pool facility. However, my pet peeve was that the hotel seems very accommodating to smokers. There are many smoking areas. Having said that we did not encounter any rude smokers they do stick to their own areas. Not also happy that they charge ~$60.00 USD per night for adding a cot.

We booked three non smoking rooms in total. One of them was filled with the smell of cigarette smoke when we checked in and we had to change rooms. We could also smell cigarette smoke as we walked along the corridor. The hotel needs to be more strict in enforcing its no smoking policy!

This is a second time we've stayed at this hotel. We chose it because of the heated pool (we have 3yr old daughter),
Upon arrival, we were told the room we requested (two double beds) was unavailable and were offered a similar room (one king bed and one kids bed). The room was nice, however it had a very strong tobacco odor so had to request the room change, which we got 2 hours later. The biggest disappointment was that the heated outdoor pool was closed for renovation, and no one mentioned this when we did the booking/check-in. Although the hotel shares the sky deck with a few other hotels, we were not allowed to use their pool.

Everyone gave me good/excellent service EXCEPT one lady greeter who put on a solemn face and gave me a curt reply when I ask her for help. Sorry, did not note down her name.

Must commend all the other lady greeters though. They were marvellous and always very cheerful and helpful.

Staff attitude towards me and my guests. Staff especially the managements don’t care about my issues and wasn’t accomodating with my problems, partly due to your website booking options listed the water park as an inclusive option in the room selection area. And now nobody wants to take responsibility. I haven’t experienced this poor treatment anywhere in my travels. I just hope Expedia and hotels get ther information correct so others don’t get disappointed like me.

Definitely worth every penny.

Amazing hotel. We are totally in awe as soon as we walked in the lobby. Greeted by a statesque employee and showed us the reception desk. Check in was fast. The elevators were equisite. We stayed at the Premier room and was overall satisfied. Big room with a good view and big tub. We felt like kings! The location is perfect at Cotai area with a lot of shops and restuarants to choose from. We even went to with Wine and liqour bar with an outdoor patio which was beautiful to smoke some quality cigars. The whole stay was definitely and experience.

In Macau this is regarded as the best resort hotel with casino, shopping centre, cinema and recreation facility for the family. All the shops are designer labels such as Gucci, Boss etc. They are extremely expensive even by Sydney and Bondi Westfield shopping centers.Though the rooms were expensive by Sydney's standards but it is worth the experience. We booked a King room with the view of the resort. This hotel along with other major hotels offers free bus shuttle service to other hotels, ferry terminals and airport. We traveled with our teenage son and daughter and we all enjoyed our stay immensely. Naturally, we never ventured into the Casino. We highly recommend Galaxy Hotel and Macau for a life time experience.

Fantastic stay

Great stay and we had got early check in and late check out with upgrade to resort view and it was fabulous. The Grand Resort Deck is great for kids and definitely would recommend to family and friends and come back in the future.
The down side is there is no direct hotel shutte bus from HZMB Port to the hotel which we need to transfer with several bus from the port to the hotel. It wasted 1 additional hour.
