Close to a taxi stand. Many restaurants nearby. Walking distance to the colosseum, Roman forum and the pantheon. The breakfast is a good mix and worth the 10€. Not suitable for people who can’t climb at least 1 flight of stairs as the elevator takes you to the between levels and is slow. 9.9/10 would stay there again!

Very clean and modern room. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, after arriving early they arranged early checkin. Room was large with comfortable bed which we requested additional pillows, nothing was too much trouble. We hired a kettle at €20 deposit as this is not included in the room. 5 minutes walk from Termini and 20 minutes from most other attractions. Lots of restaurants and bars near by as well as Cafes and supermarkets.

Dario allowed me to quickly schedule my early checkin and Yvonne made the best pistachio Cornetto and fresh cappucino. The staff were happy and helpful and Verona Hotel is literally a minute away from the front steps to Santa Maria Maggiore and only 4 min to Roma Termini but in a great corner off Cavour and very safe at night. There is also an amazing gelateria just around the corner. Highly recommend if you need to be near Roma Termini for Train or Flight connections to and from Roma.

This is a great hotel for those looking to stay in central Rome on a budget. The family room we got easily slept four, as advertised (2 adults, 2 children). The hotel is about halfway between Roma Termini and the Coliseum, making it strategically located for a walking trip (we didn't need to use public transport at all).

My only notes are that one of our lights didn't work (small deal), and that the restaurants in the area lean touristy. That said there is an authentic pozzetti gelateria (Gelateria Artigianale Il Capriccio di Carla) one block away. There is also a fantastic laundromat (lavanderia Self Service PUNTO BLU) if you are on a longer trip and trying to save space.

Overall a great stay and would go back the next time in Rome.

We liked our stay, small room but easily walkable area right in the midlde of the shops. We weren't there much throughout the day, mainly just to sleep.
The building gets locked at night and you get a keycode to come in so that was comforting to know we were safe.
We didn't know our window was open when we arrived so we had mosquitoes in there for 2 days, it was past 11pm when we realized so I called the staff about it, but they did nothing, told me they'd call me back with a solution and never did. I told them again after we left just so someone knew so hopefully it won't happen to the next person.
There is not an elevator and the stairs are small and steep so caution with large/heavy luggage, it could be a lot of steps.
We enjoyed our stay other than the mosquitoes!

The location is absoutely perfect! A short walk to two train stations (The B or the A) and to major landmarks (Trevo Fountain, Colesseum...). Staff was friendly and I appreciated the extra security of leaving your key at reception every time you left the hotel. As a solo traveler, this was important. The room was perfect size for 1 person, might be a little tight for two. I was offered an upgrade but my original room had a balcony and I wasn't willing to part with it. It was worth it! I had breakfast on my little terazza almost every morning, and it offered a respite in the afternoons to recharge and get my bearings before heading out again. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is because the hotel could use some maintenance and the shower is ::tiny:: I also didn't have any control over the HVAC unit, so if it was too hot I had to crack open the balcony doors which I didn't want to do while I was sleeping. Other than that, this is a great place to stay and explore Rome.

Hotel Verona was a great hotel and ideally situated within walking distance of the main attractions.
Rooms were very clean with a good breakfast and hotel staff were very helpful with any questions you may have.
There are numerous restaurants close by and Trevi Fountain is an approximate 15min walk away with lots of shopping and cafes.

I would definitely stay at Hotel Verona again.

The room was spacious for the three of us and AC worked well on some very hot days.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt compelled after my recent experience at this hotel. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst stays I’ve had.

First and foremost, the room was very dirty. There was dust everywhere , the bathroom had visible grime, the plastic shower curtain were full of mold and the bedding didn’t appear freshly cleaned. It was unacceptable and made the entire stay uncomfortable.
The smell was terrible if the entire hotel.
To make things worse, the customer service was terrible. The night front desk staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. When I brought up the cleanliness issue, they were dismissive and made no effort to resolve the problem.

Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. For the price paid, the standards should be much higher. There are definitely better options in the area—I suggest staying

For such a historic building we found the facilities met expectations- the A/C worked really well as did the shower ( water temp and pressure). The shower itself was small but functional. I love the Monti area for its convenience to many shops, the train station, and walking distance to any part of Rome. I would stay at the Verona again based on our experience.

The hotel does say they have Parking on the description, however there is absolutely NO parking available. Their only option is a public parking in another building away from hotel.

If you find a parking in front of hotel is like parking in a downtown where you need to deposit coins every so often unless is a Sunday which is Free. However, finding a parking there is very difficult unless you are patient and continue driving around. Also the walls in the room DOES NOT block sounds. You WILL hear everything the neighbor does.

Other than that, we had a good experience with the staff.

Hotel Verona is perfect to suit your needs: it is located in the safe neighborhood,situated in the walkable distance to Colosseum and Roman Forum, fountain Trevi, Palazzo Barberini, Galleria Colonna, Piazza Venezia and other historical and cultural sites. People on the reception are very welcoming, professional and ready to make your stay as comfortable as possible. There are a lot of places to eat and to buy something, if you decide to have breakfast or cup of tea or coffее in the room . Local supermarkets Carefour and Pam are working from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. Breakfast included pretty wide selection and was enough to get you ready for your journey. I recommend Hotel Verona if you are looking basic place of stay in the Rome.

Hotel is small but very centric. The rooms are sound proofed and we loved our balcony. We visited in March and stayed in several cities around Italy so I won’t batch the hotel for the Air conditioning as sometimes it felt hot since we experienced the same in all hotels we stayed. I would definitely stay there again, only 8-10 minutes walk to Roma Termini, 15 minutes walk to Trevi fountain.

I saw two large rats right outside the hotel, on two separate occasions. The hotel appeared to be outdated, shower room was not sanitary. The only positive thing was the elder man who checked us in. He was very kind and spoke English very well. He was helpful and very accommodating

Really conveniently located between Termini and attractions like the Colosseum. The folks at the front desk were super friendly as well. The room was a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. I had been a bit nervous about the location prior to arriving, but I felt perfectly safe walking back to the hotel in the dark from the train station. Lovely place to stay!
