The room was amazing for our family of four. The beds were very comfortable. The staff stocked the mini fridge with snacks and drinks, which was great for our kids. The location is perfect. I highly recommend on all fronts. It was clean and comfortable and quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful.

It is close to train station, lots of gelato store nearby. A small supermarket is right across the street. I live in a unit in the courtyard, very quiet and spacious. The Hotel provides us free breakfast, water, juice and wine. They have free luggage storage. I hope I could spend two more days in Rome and live in here.

Appreciated the nice bottle of Chianti and the coffee maker was great each morning. The pastries in the basket each morning were such a nice touch (and delicious!)

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was immaculate. In a building built in the 1850’s but updated rooms of course.
Hotel is on the second floor but has a lift as well as stairs. Several great little restaurants in the area especially Trieste Pizza and Urbana Tavern. Walking distance to some great shopping as well.

Super friendly service. The apartment is spacious, well located, and very well connected by bus and metro. It’s within walking distance of the Colosseum. The beds were clean and comfortable, and the place is nicely decorated in a modern country style. They truly went above and beyond to my surprise, Hotels.com gifted me a bottle of wine, and there was also a PS5, which my kids really enjoyed during our stay. Highly recommended.

Our rooms were always spotless. The shower delivered a full stream of hot water. Every morning fresh pastries were placed outside our rooms for breakfast, gluten-free ones for my husband. The housekeeper could not have been sweeter or more accommodating of my husband and me and our two boys. Bonus--We had no idea that the hotel is on a tiny but important thoroughfare: Via Urbana. If you walk down one block, you come to a number of caffes, restaurants, pastry shops and artsy stores. We fell in love with the neighborhood, which is also a five-minute walk to the Colosseum and a quick walk to neighboring Esquilino and the train station. I'd return to the Aenea again!

This was by far the best hotel we stayed at on our honeymoon trip to Italy! The staff were beyond kind and friendly, the building was old but quaint, everything was clean, and they bring you pastries for breakfast every morning! It’s a little hard to find just because you do need a physical key, not a card, to get into the building, but after checking in we had a wonderful stay in a wonderful city!

This is by far the best place we have stayed at in Rome! We were 4 adults and 1 child, and the apartment was so big, clean, and included breakfast, which was just a bag of bread in the morning. This building has a small elevator, but it was a huge plus with all the luggage we had! The apartment was cleaned every day, and the entire staff was amazing! We had issues with the shower heads and the boiler, but it was out of their control, and they were in the apartment within minutes to try to fix the issue. And they were so nice and tried their best! I would absolutely recommend and come back!

The apartment was great for 5 people, one of those being a kid. Two bathrooms, 4 beds one being the sofa bed, which was good, the bottle of wine was such a nice gift. The stairs were a bit of a pain, considering there is no elevator with all of our luggage, but we loved it and have no complaints. It was beautiful and very clean. The communication with the company was great, they were incredibly nice, would recommend, and come back!

Great find close to most of the big attractions and the train station. The staff was very helpful and the place felt super safe. We dropped our luggage off before we were able to check in when they had a bathroom with a shower available for use which was nice. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delivered fresh daily. We were always looking forward to what they were going to bring the next day! It was our honeymoon and they treated us with a bottle of wine which was wonderful! The elevator is tiny but that is just how they are in Italy.

The Aenea Inn had everything we needed for our holiday in Rome. The location was ideal - central but quiet, with plenty of bars, cafes, restaurants and other amenities close by and most of the main tourist attractions within walking distance. Our bedroom was spotless and well appointed, with a great view of the church tower next door from the window, and the breakfast (delivered to our room at around 7 am) was delicious. The hotel staff were friendly and very helpful - Simone deserves a special mention, as he stayed to check us in even though we arrived well after 10 pm - and the secure luggage storage area was a bonus as it allowed us to make the most of our last day in Rome after we had checked out. Overall highly recommended - we would definitely stay again.

Breakfast is not really a hearty breakfast though - some pastries by the door (a doughnut, a tomato bun and a doughnut), small yoghurt in the fridge, juice, and small cookies. Very nice receptionist. They hold your luggage for you for free and let you check in early. Good location, nice street. You will have to get to the third floor though. Thin doors, let through all sounds.

We had an amazing experience at this guest house. Staff super friendly, rooms were super clean and it came stocked with water, juices, yogurts, coffee pods, tea... everyday we would find a cute basket with pastries hanging outside the door. The location is so convenient. 10 min walk from termini station, walking distance to most attractions and tons of restaurants and shops in the neighborhood, including a supermarket a block away. It was so much nicer than staying in a big hotel chain. The place is so charming. Would definitely stay there again when we have a chance to return to Rome.

The staff was very proactive in making sure they were ready for our arrival time. Once we arrived, we were given a brief yet thorough review of how to use the property, how to get help from the staff (whatsapp), and where to pick up the hop on / hop off bus nearby.

Breakfast the following mornings was delivered to our door, consisting of fresh baked croissants and rolls, coupled with the complimentary juice and coffee was a delight for me, my wife, and three young children.

We would certainly stay here again!

This hotel is very nice. Located on a quiet street but 5 minutes walking distance to several places to eat. Room serviced daily, service was excellent. Front desk very responsive to our needs AND went far out of their way to help get us on our way! I didn’t see a name tag but the young lady on duty closed our stay out in style.
She ran interference on the elevator, helped us get our bags out of the facility and verified we had the correct cab as there were several departures at the same time. She should be commended by her managers for the work and support she provided!

I would have chose 5 stars, but the 55 steps up to the apartment was very trying, especially with luggage. The telephone to the front desk did not work and when we had a problem we had a difficult time contacting them.

The location was awesome and the place was clean. The speak easy downstairs was the best!!

We loved our stay at Aenea, easy to find right from Roma Termini and close to all the main historical attractions. We were welcomed with kindness and shown to our comfy and clean room with complimentary beverages and snacks along with a perfect Italian breakfast delivered right to our door before we departed. Lift made it easy to take up your luggage and even though you are right in the thick of it, we did not hear a peep overnight and slept so well in the peace and quiet in the eternal city!

We enjoyed our stay at Aenea Superior Inn. The staff was very friendly, our room was clean and comfortable, we loved having the patio space to eat our breakfast on or have a glass of wine at night. There is a very small elevator to make moving luggage easier. The staff delivers delicious bakery goods to your door every morning for breakfast. The location was safe and convenient.
The only difficulties were that the inn is staffed only 8:30a-10p so you need to clearly communicate your arrival or you will have trouble checking in, and the location was a little hard to find initially because there is not obvious signage.
