Second time staying mentioned to the front desk that I was staying till 2 PM even paid for it just didn’t like getting my door knocked on at 12 o’clock when I was sleeping that was the purpose of paying for the stay till 2 PM to not be bothered and enjoy my sleep

The elevator at one end of the hall didn't work and there was no sign saying they didn't. I told the fellow at the desk that it wasn't functioning and he said that elevator didn't work. I asked why no sign and he didn't seem to care.

Although other reviews mentioned this being an “older hotel”, the interior of the hotel did not reflect that at all! The rooms, lobby, and hallways were very nicely renovated! And the entire hotel was immaculate! We will definitely stay here again when in the Dallas area!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Dallas! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel so welcome with their friendly smiles and, of course, the signature warm chocolate chip cookie — such a delightful touch. The room was spotless, spacious, and incredibly comfortable, with plush bedding that made it easy to relax after a busy day exploring the city.

The hotel’s location is perfect — close to Dallas Love Field, great restaurants, and shopping, making it convenient for both business and leisure trips. I also loved the amenities: the fitness center was well-equipped, the pool area was inviting, and the on-site dining options were delicious. Every staff member I encountered went above and beyond to ensure my stay was seamless and enjoyable.

Overall, this DoubleTree exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Dallas — whether you’re traveling for work, leisure, or just need a cozy, welcoming place to stay, this hotel has it all!

The room was clean, but the room overall had a bad smell when you walked in. The walls are extra thin. You can hear when people are talking or doing whatever they’re doing next door kept me up for four hours the one night that we stayed there. The beds are hard. I should’ve just slept on the floor probably would’ve been a lot more comfortable.

Overall, the building is quite old. It’s clean but shows signs of use over time. Not giving it 5 stars because they did not perform room service one of the days and when we went to the front desk, they stated that you have to request it in advance and it’s not done automatically which is not true at all (they later confirmed that the room service was in fact supposed to be done unless explicitly stated not to as with a do not disturb sign).

Upon check-in the staff were cordial from the check in agent to the person cleaning the lobby. Friendly, cordial, and greets with a smile. The hotel is quite dated and looks like a property that is past it’s prime. The bathroom faucet fixture looked to have lime scale deposits on the open flow channel where the water channels out from. The carpet looks like straight up 90s Vegas, so if you’re into that, this is your place to be. Sorry, no strobe light or disco ball. This property carries the Doubletree name but it lags far behind other Doubletree locations when it comes to conditions. The cookies are still great, and it seems that the staff are trying their level best to make up for the shortcomings of the property conditions, and that alone is commendable.

There’s no direct call to the lobby to reach a hotel clerk. I had to call the hotel off of my cell phone. The people next to me had a little kids up after 12:30 AM screaming and jumping as if it were 2:00 pm and dog was barking. Security did come up. I scanned the QR code on the TV to get the menu. A children’s menu came up and when me and my grandkids went downstairs to order they said that menu didn’t exist anymore and he handed me a menu that didn’t have options for kids. The hotel hallway smelled like marijuana. The rooms are very clean and the beds are comfy.

I picked my room online and arrived to the property 4 hrs after check in time and the room was not prepared. I was then given a room that had a connected where the door wouldn't fully shut; the staff was accommodating once I went downstairs but the inconvenience was not pleasant. As a Honors member, I expect to have the room I pick especially when I arrive 4 hrs after check in time so 7pm to my reservation

I can see why this is rated three stars. When I arrived, I had to jump into a meeting and attempted to order food, but the room phone wasn’t working. After calling customer service and being redirected, I finally placed the order — only to be told the restaurant doesn’t deliver upstairs. Meanwhile, a 25% gratuity was added. Overall, it was a disappointing experience.

My sister’s birthday was supposed to be a fun two-day, one-night stay in Richardson/Dallas, so I booked two rooms at a DoubleTree Hotel. My sister and brother-in-law would be in room 1022, and I’d be in room 1023. I drove in from Baton Rouge, where I live. We all arrived around 3:50 p.m.

We arrived at the check-in counter at 4 p.m. to check in to our rooms, but we were informed that they weren’t ready yet and were being cleaned. After waiting for several minutes , I finally received my room key and went straight to my hotel bathroom. To my surprise, the toilet seat was covered in urine splatters.

I asked the cleaning lady outside my room if she could clean it for me, and she grabbed a wet hand towel from her cart and wiped off the top of the toilet lid. Then, she raised the lid and used the same towel to wipe all the urine from the seat. She didn’t use any cleaner or disinfectant spray.

Both bathrooms, floors, and showers were covered in mold and hair. The floors were so dirty that we couldn’t even walk on them after taking a shower. My sister and I have stayed at several DoubleTree Hotels in the past, and we’ve never had this experience.

The photos that were presented online that made us think it was the same hotel were actually a completely different hotel. On Google, the breakfast was shown to cost $11.00, but in the breakfast room, it was much more expensive, $18.99.

As of now, we don’t plan to stay at this particular hotel in the future.

The staff is always helpful and friendly. The room was clean, I've stayed here several times and it has always been consistent. This time there were a few things that turned me off. The bathroom sink, smelled like the drain needed to be cleaned. When the water ran it let off a gross septic water smell. One of the wall plugs by the TV didn't work so I had to drag the ironing board over to the bed. What bothered me the most is that the restaurant in the hotel charged $18.95 for breakfast which was the exact same continental breakfast that you can get at many other hotels for free. It was a buffet style breakfast with eggs, bacon, pancakes, a waffle maker and some fruit and yogurt. There was no service at the table, I got the food myself and it was about as good as you'd expect for food that had been sitting out in heating dishes and then when the bill came there was an option to tip someone who made it all possible although I never saw that person. Mid grade at best and definitely not worth $18.95. I'll consider other hotel options next time

Thermostat made nonstop noise probably something to do with electrical connection or battery. Could not have a good night sleep. On check in at 8.30 pm, front desk did as if they had any kind bed room available. I wonder if we got a neglected room after all. Good luck

No, I was told one thing by the rep who shared he called the hotel and it was okay for my grandson to check in around 4am and clock out at 11am the same day, paying for the full day. He just need a few hours of sleep. He arrived at the hotel and was told they couldn’t check him in unless he paid for two days which he didn’t need because his air bnb would be ready for check in at 4pm that same day. We were on the phone for 2 hours and went to 3 locations before he was driven a room after being on the highway 9 hours. I was really embarrassed and upset as I am a travel professional and was called to assist

Staff was very nice. I enjoyed the cookies and the gym was decent but very cold. Rooms need an upgrade and it wasn’t the cleanest as far as attention to detail. I found coins under the couch. Smudges on tv stand and ceiling was peeling in the shower. Overall it was ok for the price.

The room was clean. The AC worked maybe every other day, regardless of the temp being set to 65-67, one day it was cold enough but not cold enough. The next day was blowing hot air out of the vents for the majority of the night, I woke up sweating numerous nights unfortunately. The toilet also had difficulty flushing, even for just liquid being flushed down:/

I stayed at the Double tree for a good minute. However, upon waking up on the day after Christmas, 12/16/2025, I could barely breathe, skin irritated and my throat was closing up. I decided to check my sheets and I pulled back the covers and saw mold through the see through white comforters. No, I did not just hop in the bed. I have sent Fitz an email and heading to the emergency room for a check up. On the previous stay, my neighbor hotel mate had to be escorted out of their hotel room into an ambulance. Please be careful where you lay your head anywhere!
