Unfortunately, my stay at Showboat did not meet my expectations. The hotel had a strong odor throughout the property, including the hallways and my room. The room smelled unpleasant, and the carpet had a foul odor. The elevators were dirty, took an extremely long time to arrive, and overall cleanliness appeared to be lacking. I requested a room change due to these issues, but I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and no alternative room was available. Given the condition of the property and the impact on my stay, I would appreciate your review of this matter and consideration of compensation

They have activities for all ages. Lots to do. Multiple options for food. Staff are friendly. I would of gave full stars but the beds in the room were low and they didn't have a smart tv in the room so guest can't stream disney plus, espn, hulu, netflix etc.. Oh also they don't have wash clothes only towels and hand towels. It is also close in proximity to the carnival, hardrock cafe and other resturants

The New Orleans tower is not only outdated but unsanitary. Our first room had a dirty rug that was drenched near the ac unit My daughter stepped in it and it smelled horribly I initially tried to change my room
and was told the property was sold out yet when I checked there were rooms available on the website and third parties I had to send my husband back down to pled because the room had a stench the hallways were not air conditioned and smelled of marijuana and the rugs were being held together by duck tape the elevators were all out of service but one My husband was lucky enough to get a more helpful front desk employee and our room was changed to the Bourbon Tower which was literally a complete opposite of the New Orleans tower clean ans comfortable.

We only stayed one night so that is all I have to go by. The place is outdated but thats not entirely important. The place was mainly clean. However, there was a panty liner/bathing suit liner stuck to the wall, in a very obvious place. There also was blue paper-gum-gunk, I'm not sure what, stuck to the ceiling. Between that and the tub that had a big bubble from water damage and iffy tub floor, I'd say cleanliness was less than average with obvious items that needed addressing. Served its purpose of a safe place to spend 1 night. Nice view though!

Out of all the hotels and resorts in Atlantic City this is possible the worst one to stay at. Always has 1 elevator working. The staff isn’t responsive and I couldn’t even get the room I booked. Horrible

Check-in was OK until we entered the room and it had a strong smokers room smell and no way we could stay in that room. Went back down to explain situation and luckily they were able to provide another room that was fine. Just a hassle juggling luggage twice back and forth, but they we understanding and accommodating so all OK. Only other thing was the one elevator we seemed to get most of the time wasn’t working right. You couldn’t tell what floor as it’s going since both LED displays at top corners were out and had to watch the button light to tell what floor.

I had a wonderful time. Service was wonderful i came on a Friday for my daughter’s birthday and we had a wonderful time. We got tickets to the water park and had a ball the entire time. It wasn’t to pack, the water was want to cold the water slides was fun. The hotel was nice we stayed on the 14th floor and had the beach view. Room was nice and clean the tub drained slow but that is normally. 10/10 i can’t wait to return

The check in was excellent. The room was nice. The constant blaring of loud music in the lobby and arcade areas was HORRIBLE. I literally dreaded the elevator door opening to this area.

I was unable to obtain wash cloths until the last night I stayed. It would have been nice to have a microwave oven in the room.

Don't plan on getting a room even if you made a reservation and check-in at 4pm. Our room was not ready at check-in and were told it would be in 1-2 hours and to come back to pickup the room key. I told the front desk person that we have to leave for our concert so we can't wait around for it. They would call to tell us when it was ready. They even took an additional $200 deposit to secure it even though we were only supposed to pay an additional $31 at check-in. Got a call that our room was ready over an hour later but we were already at our concert venue and could not pickup the key right then. When returning to desk after the concert at 11:30pm for our key we were told our room was given to someone else! Unreal! No other availability and no hotels available nearby. Told us they would email us a comp room good for 1 year for future use but we never received it. Terrible hotel.

We always enjoy staying in a suite. But we couldn’t sit on the couch in living room, because it was very fragile. Looked like it was bought at Temu. So not comfortable! The sliding doors to the wrap around balcony were impossible to open, it kept getting jammed! There was no valet parking because, they said; not enough people checked into hotel. Real Nightmare! Also after Monday, No Housekeeping on premises! This was the first time that we’ve stay there and had these difficulties!! Plus the self- parking ticketed our car, cause apparently you need to pay upfront. Wasn’t informed of that upon checking in. So, make sure you pay for parking beforehand!! Ya know my wife & I were there to celebrate 40yrs together!! We did try and make “The Best” of it!! Expedia Booking Services went smoothly. TY.

This property needs alot of work. From what we heard, this property has undergone some major changes - the Casino is gone and in its place is a huge arcade, indoor race track, indoor putt putt (lots to do if you have kids - but the noise level is off the charts). Also gone is the hotel pool on the 5th floor which we searched for. They have a brand new water park right next door, but is very expensive just for a pool. Parking is also not included with your hotel room, so there is added expense as well. Never got the WiFi log in. When we got off elevator on 15th floor - first room you see has a big board across the door??? Used stairwell to go down 1 floor for ice - very dark & dirty. We only stayed here to attend a concert in Hard Rock Hotel. Would not stay here again. This hotel needs lots of work and clean up.

My stay at the Showboat was a mixed experience. The room itself was amazing, I had a beautiful ocean view, the bed was very comfortable, and the room was clean and relaxing. The location is also great, especially being right on the boardwalk.

However, the property feels very outdated and it seems like management has not kept up with maintaining many of the attractions. During my stay, the water park was closed, the dark ride was closed, the laser tag and Nerf Wars areas were unavailable, and several arcade games were missing balls or parts and were not working properly.

The Showboat has so much potential, but management needs to put more effort into maintaining the attractions and making sure everything is operational. It’s disappointing to advertise so many family activities when a lot of them are closed or not fully functioning.

Overall, I loved the room and the ocean view, but the resort needs better upkeep and attention to detail. I would come back, but I hope to see major improvements.

Family friendly. ALL HOURS OF THE DAY. Music too loud to think the entire day and night. The entire hotel including our room, elevator, etc reeked of weed. The \"suite\" was so run down. Im appaled. I dont have a lot of money but will spend too enjoy my sleep/time wherever. The bed was probably the only nice thing besides our shower head. I write reviews when I feel is needed. Do NOT stay here. ESPECIALLY if it is on the weekends and you are looking to relax and/or get away from your kids etc.

My recent stay at Snowboat Hotel in Atlantic City was overall quite enjoyable! The location is perfect for exploring the Boardwalk and nearby casinos, with easy walking access to all the main attractions. The staff went above and beyond to make our check-in smooth and friendly.

Our room was clean, modern, and comfortable—exactly what we needed after long days out on the Boardwalk. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the noise insulation was impressive considering how central the location is. Breakfast options in the morning were decent and got us going for the day ahead.

One note for future guests: non-casino guests or those staying on certain rates will need to pay $29 per night for pool access. While I initially thought this seemed steep, it's worth noting that many Atlantic City properties maintain their pools as exclusive resort-style amenities rather than complimentary facilities. We ended up enjoying the casino floor and city activities so much that we barely used it anyway, but travelers who specifically want unlimited pool access should factor this into their budget when booking.

Overall, Snowboat Hotel delivers excellent value for the price point. With a bit of advance planning on amenity fees, you'll have a solid Atlantic City experience. Definitely would consider returning!

Every thing in the hotel was entertaining. A huge arcade for kids. Indoor waterpark was a plus. We didn’t eat at the hotel but the did have accommodations for everyone.Location was on point, it’s directly on the boardwalk with access to the beach. We will be back.

The breakfast buffet downstairs from showboat called ACE is disgusting, waste of money, this was my daughters birthday weekend and they gave us the most disgusting room it smelled like pure urine and smoke, we saw roaches, my daughter was breaking in hives in the room, they didn't even try to accommodate I booked for a room that didn't look the same as what we had originally booked for I called before going and we were supposed to get a renovated room, when we got there they tried to say they were sold out when I booked my hotel stay months before even going, I would not recommend to anybody, CLEANINESS AND STAFF NEEDS TO BETTER

The property is disgusting. The halls mess musty and moldy. There was poop on the floor and tons of other trash. None of the vending machines worked properly. There was no pool or casino. The water park they advertised is only open on the weekend. There was a mouse in the restaurant and there was no housekeeping. Was there for 3.5 days. Room wasn't cleaned once and when i called for more towels was told housekeeping was off and had to go to the front desk for them. The only thing i will give them is the arcade is okay. Worst stay ever.

Pros: I had a balcony room. The view was stunning. The hotel is pet and kid friendly which was a plus. They do have security on site.

Cons: The room had many stains on the furniture. The room and building is very old and outdated. Looks like a motel. The hotel staff weren’t able to provide/locate any chairs for the balcony. Also Only one finger food restaurant was open.

The money spent was not worth it. Very poor quality. I would not book again.

The manager is a bunch of bull crap he said that he reimburse us half of the money because it was no housekeeping or anything, and the staff kept lying to us every single day. If it was me, I wouldn’t ever go back to this hotel. Don’t think I could sit there and say is that the arcade is fun for the children in the water park is fun for the children, but the hotel alone I wouldn’t recommend.

The property was not clean. Many of the games in arcade were down. The waterpark was so crowded we could even find a place to sit at all and lines were incredibly long. You could barely walk around in the waterpark it was so crowded. The room was not very clean and the staff would just see you waiting and never acknowledge you.

Showboat is not a casino anymore. It’s an amusement facility/arcade. Lots of children! No real restaurants on premises, just vending and a cafe.
The guest room was adequate but basic. There was no blow dryer. The ice maker wasn’t working. But the bed was comfortable and we were only staying one night, so it fit our needs.

My room was definitely not cleaned properly. Cigarette butts in a pile on the balcony. Dead moth on floor. Bathroom tub drain did not work. You had to take the entire drain out of the tub. Had to move the microwave over the sink to plug it in. The two lounge chairs on the balcony were completely broken. Absolutely disgusting stain on back of headboard (in the shape of a cross). Floors were sticky/ tacky like they had not been cleaned in sometime. Absolutely no hand soap (in either bathroom). We were also there on a rainy weekend so the place was so packed. Waterpark was so crowded it was ridiculous.

We had a 3-night stay in the bourbon tower which was extremely convenient. I was a huge fan of the hardwood style floor which feels way cleaner than carpet that can hold debris and stains, I was at peace of mind being able to look at the floor and visually see it was clean and maintained. AC was blowing cold and the view of the beach was beautiful. Will most definitely be back.

There was no hair dryer available, and despite requesting one, I was unable to get it. It was also very difficult to receive additional towels.

This has been the worst hotel I have ever visited. It is very poorly maintained and old, and the service is very poor. You have to pay for everything—and they are supposed to tell you that when you book, but they don't. There was no staff to clean the room daily. Honestly, I would never return.
