The outside of the hotel was not well-kept. There was a $25 parking fee that I was not told about before arrival. The knob to turn on the shower just spun around, and I was unable to get good water pressure or make the water hot. They also vacuumed the hallway very loudly at 9 am on a Sunday.

Where do I start... My room was not ready at check in (4pm). I had to wait an hour to check, once in the room which was horrible there was no microwave in the room the hot water didn't work broken lamps & the floor was sinking. While at the hotel another guest asked me for crack!!! Didn't feel safe so of course, I checked the next day and I am still waiting for my refund.

I’ll start with the good points. The hotel is steps away from the boardwalk. Complimentary breakfast. There’s a 7-11 and restaurants also nearby. Parking on site for $25/night. This place was great for one night.

My room’s door was broken. I pushed a chair against it to sleep. There was a dent in the wall. Something out of a First 48 episode. The carpets were visibly dirty.

When I went to the desk about the broken door, staff listened to me and offered no help or remuneration. Useless.

Like I said, you may be able to tolerate the place for one night. Or, bring your cleansers and extra door lock just in case.

Room not to par staff nasty to guests staff at the hotel fighting guess for the parking spot, because he was late for his shift. Telling guests he will tow them that is not a good look at all. Staff then block the parking space. That something I never experienced in life hotel nothing works in the room tub dirty it was a disaster

First time we get there we wanna leave…. We did not cause we could not find another place to go….. Expedia needs to be careful cause when you look at pictures looks like a good place to stay. Very dirty, carpets not vacum properly, bathroom very dirty, disgusting, shampoo dispenser didn’t work, breakfast not good at all. I would stay there again.

Ok the room something was wrong with the sink water it was coming out like drops. I called the front desk a lady answer the phone I explained what was going on she sent some to chk he said he had to come back and fix it at that point it was almost time for us to chk out, The woman wanted to accommodate me for my service by telling I could extend my stay or give me a credit to come back I declined both. Unfortunately, this stay was disappointing. The hotel felt neglected overall, and the room showed clear signs of age and poor maintenance.

More concerning was the location and general atmosphere of the property. It did not feel safe, especially at night. Between the condition of the room and the surroundings, this was not a place where I felt at ease.

Spent a week. Very comfortable room and clean. Best amenities included micro fridge, microwave, and hot breakfast. Hard to go wrong when everyone is ice bound. Very pleasant staff as well. Will stay here again for sure.

I booked this hotel for my daughter’s cheer competition and had a very disappointing experience overall. To start on a positive note, the front desk staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the rooms did not match the photos advertised online. Our first room was not properly cleaned. It smelled strongly of smoke, the carpet had not been vacuumed, the toilet and refrigerator were dirty, and the bed sank badly whenever anyone sat on it.

We were moved to a second room, which also had issues. We were left with two towels and one washcloth. When I called for more, I was told they were out of washcloths and that I would need to come downstairs myself to get additional towels. In this room, the refrigerator made a loud motor noise whenever opened, and the sink made a concerning pipe noise when turned on, making the room feel poorly maintained. Parking was an additional $25 per day. The TV did not work, and although I was told someone would come fix it at 10:00 PM, no one ever showed up.

The advertised breakfast “buffet” was misleading and very limited, with dry pre-cooked sausage and eggs and few options.

The most upsetting issue occurred the morning of my daughter’s competition. She slipped and fell on the first floor because the floors were being mopped with no wet floor signs posted. While staff apologized, she was hurt and shaken and had to compete less than an hour later.
I would NOT recommend this place!

While the staff at this location was easygoing and helpful, the property itself is in desperate need of a renovation. We encountered issues with the toilet and TV in our first room; thankfully, the front desk moved us immediately without resistance. However, the building feels like it’s falling apart—we actually saw debris fall from the ceiling in a hallway, and it remained there until we checked out the next day.

While the rooms were technically \"clean,\" the furniture was heavily damaged and dated. The breakfast area was also disappointing; The breakfast drink dispensers looked questionable, so we skipped them. Finally, be aware that parking is not free ($25 fee). We’ve stayed at this chain across the country, but this is definitely their weakest location.

Needs upgrading. You have to run the water for a long time for it to get hot. For the money you're paying, you shouldn't have to wait to get hot water in the shower or in the sink. Also, TV was very far away from the bed in my suite. Not practical.

The room was okay. The TV was old and picture was poor quality. the bathroom could have been cleaner. I think everything is old. Some of the furniture had holes in it and there were stains on the carpet.
The staff was great. We did not eat on the premises, don't know that I would do that. It served the purpose of a inexpensive room that we used just to shower and sleep in.

The pictures did not accurately capture this room. The room was not updated. The countertops and nightstands were noticeably dusty, the linen had spots on the sheets, the towels were beyond dingy, and the shower looked atrocious...to the point that we did not even shower in the room. I was so uncomfortable during the entire stay...I slept on top of the sheets and literally used my coat as a blanket because I refused to sleep in the sheets. Furthermore, as we were checking in, there was another guest checking out of her room because she saw a mouse in there. I was horrified and wanted to leave our room immediately. I wanted to drive two hours back home after the concert rather than staying in that room, but my friend refused to let us leave as we were already exhausted. I even suggested sleeping in the car in the parking lot. The pictures posted on Expedia were fallacious. Our room looked NOTHING like what was posted on the website.

The advertisement was false and the hotel itself was horrendous. My room was 205. The room itself was moldy, dirty, and infested with mice. Two ran across my room exiting from the bathroom of which I was afraid to leave the room at that time. But I did. Upon my arrival and inspection of the room, the first thing I notice was the harsh smell and Bath tub was dirty. There was water leaking from second floor ceiling in the hallway of which I was staying and the room had a strong scent or ammonia and musk which made it extremely hard to breathe. The smell was in my mouth. I could taste it. I told the receptionist the room was unsanitary, unsafe and unhealthy and that I could not stay there. She attempted to put me in another room on the fourth floor (419) with the same smell and unsanitary issue. Because she did not understand my concern and would not refund me, I had to vacate because I had no where to sleep. She told me my money was non refunded as well as the parking and that I could try to talk to the manager on Tuesday 11/25/25 about. I’m appalled

This Best Western is well kept, and the staff is friendly and supportive. In truth, the area outside in the evening is not the best. I saw a street walker with her pimp trying to get someone to go with her, but I heard the gentleman she was pursuing say, NO THANKS in a very polite manner.
As for the breakfast, it meets the needs of early morning sustenance, but it could use some cheese or croissants to round out the selection. Over all, I enjoyed my stay, and would recommend this place to Atlantic City travelers if they aren't afraid of a little bit of dicey behavior outside after dark.
I usually stay down the street at the Inn of the Irish Pub, but that place is closed from Labor Day until July 4th weekend. It's a historic old speakeasy that I have been going to for over 30 years and has a sentimental place in my heart. Best Western in Atlantic City is my alternate choice whenever I go there and the Inn is closed. I would like to send KUDOES to the staff in AC. Please tell them I have come away with a good visit, and this was not my first stay at Best Western. It was just an additional good one!

All was satisfactory.This is an aging motel;in obvious need of general upgrade.
My mattress was oddly slanted uphill from head to foot.carpets worn and faded.
They do a nice job attending to the existing stuff.
I like that they do a nice job cleaning!
I wonder what it would take to initiate an upgrade...and who would finance it?
I doubt many Best western hotels are in this condition......but it's location allows a different standard.

Peaceful Getaway to AC

Great customer service at check in, out, and breakfast staff. No more waffles, but the breakfast offers enough options for you to eat and drink to start your day. The price was worst the accommodation and amenities. You are only a 5 minute or less walk away from the boardwalk. I will stay there again on future visits to AC.

Appliances were broken, the knobs on the toaster kept falling off, the skillet top came completely off, requiring assistance. There was mot enough toiletries provided in the room.
