The room was dirty. When we left i noticed the blanket had a stain. The bathroom was dirty. The shower head was gross. We had to ask for new towels. The towels in the bathroom were dirty.

The staff were very fri belt and helpful when I need to park my truck and trailer. The beds were comfortable and the shower had nice hot water.
However, my room had an adjoined room and I could here the loud conversation the gentleman next to me was having all night. I could here another room blaring their TV. So I did not get a restful night's sleep. The breakfast was adequate was small. Overall, I'm not impressed with Beat Western and will avoid their establishments. Definitely had better sleep at a Days Inn.

Room phone didn’t work, toilet seat was broken, sheets were rough, breakfast food that was supposed to be warm was cold. All that aside, I felt safe (woman, traveling alone) and the staffs were friendly. The property and room was very clean, but the smell of bleach was a bit overpowering. Having said all this, I would stay there again.

Just adequate. Our toilet took 30 minutes to refill making it useless – had to rely on manually filling it up with water from containers so mainly used public restroom downstairs. It was clearly rigged; the inside mechanics of the toilet have plastic patch jobs on it.
The only ice machine didn't work and seemed to not work for a long time because it was bone dry.
Thin walls. Could hear people in hallway easily.
Otherwise the hotel was clean and breakfast good.

The thing that I noticed is that the sheets were so worn they seemed like flannel sheets. Front desk changed my room but said a lot of workers stay there so that could be reason for the worn sheets. The second room sheets were not as bad.

We stayed for three nights. Checking in went smooth. We get into the room and the strong moldy, awful smell hit us immediately. We drove several hours, we just wanted to sleep. Step into the shower and the ceiling and all around the bathroom was full of mold. I purchased two different odor absorbers, Odoban and Ozone. It didn't help at all, then it rained and made it almost unbearable. The ac barley worked and struggled to cool, so add heat and smell, not a good combination. We had to use the same towels till the last night. We asked for more and they complained. They said housekeeping has to do that and keep up with it. We told them we asked for a room cleaning twice and didn't receive it either time. We had to take our hang up clothes back to our vehicle, due to the smell of the room sticking to everything we had in there. When we put our bags in the car, we had to ride 7 hours with that horrible odor filling it. I am home and I am having to wash, pillows and clothes we didn't even wear. I realize this is not a 4 star hotel, but no business should smell like that or be filled with mold. It was the worst stay my family has had in a long time. We will never use this hotel again. I most certainty do not reccomend. You may ask why we didn't ask for another room, well while they were cleaning, we walked in three different ones, mold and smell in each. What was the point? If mold and a putrid smell doesn't bother you, by all means, book it!!

As a result of language barrier, it was difficult understanding the clerks to what they were saying after asking questions. In addition, I feel the night young female clerk should have been more knowledgeable of eateries near by. Example: I asked where and if they had a Jack-N-the Box near by and I was told no. She too said there wasn't one. However, there was one that I found just up the main street, about 3/4 of a mile from the Best Western. In essense, she could have googled as I did , confirming one existed. In other words, I feel she could have assisted in finding one by any means Vs. saying no to my inquirey. In addition, while getting ready , I put out the D.N.D. sign for no more than 15 or less minutes and then removed. However, around 3 p.m. , some 7 hours later, housekeeping had yet to see the D.N.D. hanger sign had been removed and I had to ask the female clerk to have my bed made and she did kindly. Otherwise, I liked the Best Western overall.

Well we will start that I checked in early. Dropped off about 75 dollars worth of sea food and left. Came later and the drain didnt work on the tub. Then next morning ate a couple bites of my seafood nor thinking. Then grab a dri k out of the fridge that was hot. Why are the frigerators not plugged in. I lost all that food and my tamales that rogether after eating some before, cost like 100 bucks. So no I am not happy with this place. I should have got a cheap motel. It woild have been just the same maybe better.

Needs a little love.

Hotel was a little run down and my room was very damp and had a bit of a mildew smell. They put the AC unit into dry mode and it helped a bit but still had the smell. The room was not very quiet, large gaps under the door to the adjoining room and it into the hall. I could hear every word my neighbor said. On the positive, the bed was comfortable.

Independently owned by a nice family. They and their workers keep the place well cleaned on a daily basis. Small hotel. Two floors. Great place to stay if you need to find a quick place to lay your head while you’re traveling off of I-10.

Was told no handicap rooms available. But was given one. Bright street light shines in the room. See thru shade. No curtain. Hard to sleep. Outside door has broken keyless entry. Anyone from the outside has access to the hotel anytime. Not safe and secure. Dining room chairs are fabric snd dirty fabric. 2 grab bars by toilet for handicap. None by shower.

Do not stay!!

We had to drive through a dark alley to get to the hotel. The front desk was caged in by plexiglass...not sure if it was for covid reasons or safety reasons. The front desk clerk was nice. The hotel was EXTREMELY noisy. There was a good inch/ inch and a half gap between floor and bottom of the door so sounds were very loud from the hall. Walls were paper thin (could hear neighbors tv all night). Definitly had a strong mold odor. Someone was looking in my truck with a flashlight about 1am...yes i was up then because of all the noise. Did not feel safe and felt misled by all the positive reviews. Got up early the next morning to get out of this place! Would NOT recommend. Hotel was over priced.

The only thing that I did not like was the condition of the hotel. This property had just been hit by a flood. The lower floor, including the front desk area and elevator area was undergoing muck-out and repair of the flood damage. There was very little hot water upstairs. I had to leave a less than favorable review, BUT it was not their fault. They were doing everything possible to get the hotel back in full working order. The Staff was Absolutely GREAT !!

The room is nice but only one ice machine-on the far end of the first floor. There was no hot water at first, apparently the breaker tripped on our floor. management offered showers in another room but that’s terribly inconvenient. And while this is a non smoking facility, the room had a faint unpleasant smell, like old smoke or perhaps vape. Won’t stay here again. Very disappointed.

What they called a hit breakfast was horrible all four mornings I was there. Just because the eggs are powdered to begin with doesn’t mean you prepare them to look any more unappealing. The bacon on three of the four mornings was burned, the sausage on the fourth was completely tasteless as were the eggs. Aged hotel with new paint. Lipstick on a pig.

I was surprised by how nice this hotel was. I stayed in the jacuzzi suite and found the room to be spacious and comfortable. Beverly was the one who checked us in and made sure that other family joining me were in the next room. We all noticed how comfortable our beds were. One person even used the word \"luxury\" to describe their experience.
The breakfast was quite ample. They changed some of the meat and egg options so for the week we stayed there, it seemed like we were able to enjoy variety. The service was excellent. Any question was answered promptly and the efforts to make sure that our stay was enjoyable appeared to be genuine. I will definitely not want to look for another place to stay when in the area.

I reserved 3rooms with dogs in each room. They said Expedia didn’t let them know about the dogs. Expedia said each room would be double queens but when I checked in they said they only had 2 rooms with 1 king bed in each and 1 double queen room for dogs. Our room was the double and when we opened the door it smelled like walking into an animal shelter. The odor was horrible and you could smell it in the hallway. We were there for a funeral and had no other option so we made the best of it for 2 nights. These were the only dog rooms available. The other 2 rooms didn’t have the same horrible smell. We will never stay there again

Clean, but \"non-smoking\" hotel reeks of smoke

Once you make it to your room, it's fine. But the halls and lobby area really smell of cigarette smoke (even though the property is non-smoking). The staff is very friendly and the room was clean. The carpets are new. Breakfast was typical fare (eggs, sausage, waffles). The danish was fresh.
I could not give a higher rating because of the smell of smoke.

There are quite a few people who have been living there since last hurricane season. I sure hope they are able to get to their homes sometime soon.

It was kind of Meh. It was not the usual BW Plus experience. The toilet seat was so loose there was no way to sit on it, the nuts holding it on were barely on the screws. I asked for someone to come fix it and the girl at the desk told me there was nobody there to do it and offered to put me in another room. I wound up going to the front desk to get a screwdriver and pair of pliers and fixed it myself. As for the TV, the local Fox channel had no volume.

Did not match the advertisement. Older unit, appeared to have had water damage and not renovated. Advertised non smoking however lobby, halls, and room recked of cigerete smoke. Believe there was also full time residency possibly from storm related events. Booked on Expedia however clerk billed me for room also. Overall a bad experience.

Hurricane Refugees! NO GO!

due to the Hurricane Harvey, there are people living at the hotel. It was very loud, due to the fact the carpet was coming up from the floor. The people living at the hotel were very loud and obnoxious throughout the night. The service however was very nice and friendly! Sad to say will not be returning.

This hotel is very clean and located right off the interstate. Breakfast is included, but is nothing to write home about. Four old apples does not qualify as a \"selection of fresh fruit.\" But the staff was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond the call of duty, which made my night.

Night front desk manager was great and friendly. Day I checked out & needed a working business center, ONLY 1 computer worked & had to wait on a couple to print 50 pages for a scavenger hunt! With the computer being extremely slow & the printer constantly jamming, delayed my work schedule by more than an hour. Owners need to have 2 fast working computers & printers that work. Not everyone that stays there is waiting for their cruise ship, some of us are working.

Just right for a business trip, would stay again

Just fine for a business trip. My only suggestion would be for the hotel to use a different cleaning product in the bathroom. The perfume smell of the cleaner was overwhelming and if someone was particularly sensitive to fragrances they would not be able to stay in that room. I know you will not be able to post this part of my comment, but I know the smell and they use Fabuloso cleaner. I bought it once, used it once and threw it away because it is just too strong of a smell.

Relocating from the east coast to Texas. Got the room simply for an overnight stay. The staff was friendly, inviting, and efficient. They were also very flexible on parking (I had a fully loaded 6'x 12' trailer hooked up to my Suburban). King bed in the room was comfortable and cleans. Same goes for the pillows. Room also had a mini fridge and microwave available for use. Only negative I can think of is whatever cleaning solution is used in the bathtubs, causes it to be quite slippery when first hit with water. Almost slipped and fell a couple times. They do give you a grip mat however, the mat should be in the tub already if you know it's going to be an issue. Overall, there stay was a very enjoyable stop over.

OK once I found it.

Hotel is hard to find at night. It's located behind the Main St. What-a-burger restaurant. Sign is obscured by the restaurant and trees. Breakfast was nice, but the breakfast room is small. Room was clean and quiet, and staff was pleasant.

Great Place for the Orange Hamfest!

This was easy access to IH-10 and plenty of fast food nearby. It was nice and clean and we could look out the window and see the vehicle. Staff was friendly and helpful. I will book there again next year.
