Arriving late after a cancelled flight the concierage was incredabily helpful, and his humour helped with what had been a long day. He also advised on connection options and arranged a taxi for us.
The suite was comfy, clean and well laid out. There was space for all 4 of us with the two children sharing the sofa bed.

We’ve holidayed there twice and would again

Desk receptionist absolutely first class. Very helpful. All the team very friendly, helpful and efficient. Restaurant (August menu) and Pool good. Suite very comfortable and air conditioned (essential). Well placed to get to/from Aix TVG and Aix (with car). TGV good to get quickly into Marseille. We had a comfortable stay. Parking and overflow at Hotel is gated (at night). Good access to main roads. Few restaurants nearby; others a short drive.

To be fair, they are undergoing renovations and there was lotsa construction. Taking that into account, was nice but location is not very convenient and you’ll need a car. Good restaurant :)

Fantastic. We wanted to explore Provence and this hotel is ideally situated about 10 minutes drive from Aix itself. Not too busy, (some days there was no one else around the pool but us!) it's clean, the breakfasts are great and the beds comfy. Best of all the staff are superb, smiley, helpful and all beautiful. Thanks to the lovely Gaelle for the advise on local villages to visit and to Alex and Marie for answering all of our other questions.
We'd recommend this hotel and would definitely visit again.

This is a lovely place in Aix if you want a little quietness. It is a drive to town however the area is great. As always, a nice petite déjeuner. Great base for the day. You may have to drive to get a nice meal.

It was nice, not more. And the only available property for our dates. That should have raised a flag for us.

We reserved 2 Superior King size rooms.
We got 1 room ok on the 2nd floor.
The other room was on the first floor.
It was accessible room which we did not order and it wasn't superior King size bed.

We immediately asked the man at the front desk to change the room to what we reserved but he did not agree. He was rude from start!

It was so late (11:00PM) and we were very tired after a very long drive, so we just gave up and went to sleep. We thought that in the morning we could solve it.

My fried took a shower and almost slipped in the accessible shower since it was completely open and was targeted for people in a wheel chair.

We went back to the front desk in the morning and asked again to change the room. The 2 clerks refused and started lying that the room is what we reserved and the bed size is King size and that we agreed to an accessible room (which we were never asked for and never agreed). Only after I contacted on chat with Expedia support agent they lied to her also at start but later admitted that this is not a King size bed.

They agreed to cancel the 2nd night but unfortunately we could find alternate hotel rooms and we had to stay.

Please stay away from this hotel since they are not honest!!!

When we checked out they did not even offer any compensation or gratitude after I proved them wrong.

Everything was great, nice breakfast too. Only issue was all restaurants are far away for Ubereats except for Mcdonalds and Burger King. The hotel's restaurant is only open on weekdays, so for lazy types like me who enjoy playing pc games on weekends, there are limited dining choices for lunch & dinner delivery. Location is iffy for food delivery but the hotel itself is excellent with very nice staff, friendly to me, American!

Good for catching train/plane next morning

We booked 1 night at this hotel since we had to catch an early train out of Aix-en-Provence TGV railway station at 730am. There is not much around the hotel (we would have been hurting without a car), all restaurants nearby were closed by 9pm which was unfortunate (although the lack of things to do or eat near the hotel is not the fault of the hotel). On the night we stayed, the hotel shut down their restaurant for a local company party which meant no room service or restaurant food was available at all, which was a bummer since there really is nothing around :( . The room was clean and we were able to get some rest before our train and then plane ride home. The front desk receptionist was helpful upon check-in. In the morning when we tried to check out at 6:50am, there was no one at the desk, and no phone or buzzer to call someone to check us out. We waited for several minutes before someone came. Then we had to pay the city tax but the hotel had no change so he let us go without paying 2.5 Euro as we were in a serious rush to make our train. Besides the check-out process and hotel restaurant being closed that night, it was a good/decent stay. We did get a good deal on the rate from hotels.com. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who needs to get to the TGV train station or local airport the next morning. It was nice to stay only 11 minutes drive from the TGV train station.

one of the front desk staffs does not know everything. First of all, she wanted to charge the room fee which I had already paid online. Secondray, she asked us to pay breakfast which we did not have. Furthermore, there is only one bathtowel in our room. They don't have spare clean towel either!

All you need......

Although rather plain, this hotel provided all we needed for our stay. The beds were comfortable, room clean, service ok, The buffet dinner wasn't lavish but provided everything we needed, and was rather good, actually. Wish I had walked around to the back of the hotel because some photos I found on line showed it to be a nice place to relax, with a spacious lawn and wooded area.

A good, standard hotel but quite remote

This is a newly built, quite comfortable hotel on the outskirts of Aix. Is not overly luxurious, but has everything to make a short stay comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpful. You will need a car, however, as the hotel is located in a suburb residential area with nothing to do whatsoever. Although the drive to Aix takes less than 10 minutes on the motorway, it's definitely not a city brake hotel.

Difficult to access from main road.

Used this hotel as an overnight stay whilst on business. It was very new, very clean, well presented, and the food and service was excellent. Typically being English and appalling at languages, I did struggle as no-one except the receptionist spoke English. The staff were very courteous and polite however.

Nowhere to go to eat in the vicinity beyond the hotel. Hotel took us hours to locate, hindered by poor map in Best Western book. Some dishes in restaurant were poor quality - plats du jour eg no lean meat in lamb cutlets, poor quality risotto. Hotel info inaccurate - there was no cold drink machine so we had to buy at bar as we didn't bring cans or bottles of soft drink. Wish we'd stayed at the Best Western in Aix (Le Galice?)

Quiet, Peaceful & Serene Hotel

Very clean and well maintained facilities with excellent customer service. If you're a lady, do not forget your shower cap though as none was provided. Location is not convenient if you do not have a car and must go to town often. It'll be useful for hotel to consider a shuttle service to town as taxi cost is a bit steep. Overall, a very good hotel for a quiet getaway!

This hotel is very new, clean and comfortable. Rarely can find such condition in Europe. Considering the price of room, it is a gem. Staff are very friendly.

Only consideration is the location, it is 10 mins drive away from city centre, and it seems to be in a new district that there is nothing around, so you must have a car. Good thing is free parking.

Clean hotel Far from Aix in other words a 15minute drive. So you need car. Pool was freezing cold and very noisy because near main road. Rooms were clean, just wish we could have found a hotel closer to town but they were all booked. Breakfast really not all that good. Bakery in town has delicious bread go there for breakfast.

The room was clean, very confortable and quite big to european patterns. The staff was very kind and the hotel alos has a good restaurant and bar. The location can be a problem if you do not have a car, sice it is located like 4 or 5 km from the city center. So, i strongly recommend this hotel, but it is better to have a car to go up and down to the city center.

It is misleading to say this hotel is in Aix-en-Provence. At best it is somewhere \"near\" Aix. It is nowhere near the Aix town centre. I actually never found the hotel after spending over 2 hours driving up and down the highway looking for it. The front desk staff, who tried to direct me to the hotel to no avail were, nonetheless, pleasant.

The only problem with this hotel is getting to it. It's only about 20 minutes by car from Aix, if that, but you'll make a few mistakes before getting the route right. And finding it for the first time is a nightmare. But the rooms are a good size and well equipped, the beds very comfortable, everything was clean and in good order and the staff were helpful. Like previous travellers, we found the room too warm, there was traffic noise when we opened the window and the air-conditioning didn't work. The staff explained it was too early in the season for air-con and immediately offered us a room at the back, where there was no traffic. Problem solved.

Perfect except for the cold shower

I arrive at the hotel at 6m after 12 hours of travel and 4 hours of work only to take a shower - the one thing I was really looking forward to. There was no hot water to be had and I let it run for some time. My travel companion had the same issue. I have stayed there before and did not have an issue, but that really ruined my day. Every morning it was fine thereafter

This hotel is very hard to find and is very out of the way. It is a business hotel and makes no apologies that the restaurant is closed because it is not the business season. There are no other eateries close by and room service came up cold. The breakfast is good and staff try very hard to do what they can but this is not a hotel for leisure tourists.

1 nuit ici, agreable decouverte de cet hotel. Situé au milieu de nulle part (11 kms d'Aix), et du coup calme. Hotel comme neuf, chambres refaites, literie ok, SDB idem, wifi ok, parking gratuit un peu petit et etroit mais fait l'affaire. Personnel pro a l'accueil. Seul bemol : le PDJ decevant. Choix restreint et basic ce qui denote par rapport a d'autres Mercure. C'est dommage mais le PDJ n'etant pas obligatoire...

Um hotel com muito conforto e funcionarias muito simpaticastambem.
Ele fica longe do centro mas, nao e um problema porque voce estara de carro. Se nao estiver, estara fazendo o passeio errado. O carro 'e fundamental para conhecer a Provence.
Cafe da manha com grande selecao de paes e queijos, ovos iogurtes, e um espremedor de laranjas pra fazer um suco fresco nahora.
Cama e travesseiros muito confortaveis.
Eu ficaria hospedado aqui novamente, com certeza.

Convenable sans plus… Mais a la défaveur de l’endroit, des travaux importants pas mentionnés au moment de réserver … un hôtel / RESTAURANT fermé le vendredi soir (après 800kms de voiture ça calme) et personne pour vous conseiller une table sympa dans le coin. On se faisait une joie pourtant de découvrir l’endroit. Bien pour des Pro de passage, pas pour de la villégiature.

On nous a conseillé un restaurant franchisé par le cuisinier
Philippe Etchebest (Bistro Régent, à Aix-en-Provence).
Nous avons été très déçu (viande servie avec beaucoup de nerf). Rapport qualité prix : beaucoup trop cher.
Durant les 3 semaines de notre voyage, c'est l'endroit où nous avons le plus mal mangé. Très très décevant.

Je ne reviendrai pas !

Un bruit constant toute la nuit, similaire à celui d’un camion qui démarre et s’arrête, une chambre avec une décoration surannée et une moquette vétuste qui dégage des relents d’odeurs de pieds et de vieille crasse…Bref, heureusement que le séjour n’a duré qu'une nuit ! Seul point positif, les jeunes femmes qui nous ont accueillies étaient fort sympathiques !
