Staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was good and served the purpose. When looking closer there were cosmetic items that could be improved but didn’t affect the use of the room. (Poorly patched walls, trim not finished) Easy walk to the town center and attractions as well as proximity to train station.

The location of this hotel is amazing. So close to the bus station, close to downtown. The hotel is also very clean and chic and the breakfast is also good. Overall I will definitely come back and recommend this place to others. It’s also unbelievable how quiet it is even though it’s close to the centre of the action during Christmas

Under construction- Smoke/Dust/ Dangerous Hallways

Staff were nice. But the hotel is under construction. Someone was cutting through metal and steal at 8am as I woke and 10:30am during a business call.

I chose this hotel for the space because I needed to work but the construction noise immediately outside my hotel room was so loud I left.

There’s no carpet in the hallways. Then, they filled with dust and construction smoke and I became quite angry as my young child was with me and should not be breathing construction dust.

Other things lacked as well. For example, in place of room service or even snacks there is a vending machine. But it was empty except for M&Ms.

The hotel should not be accepting guests in current condition.

Aix-en-provence is a lively and picture-esque city that has a very walkable downtown. The hotel was just the right distance from the touristy area to be quiet but still have great access to everything. The hotel is a little older and could use some new furniture, but is quite clean and in what seemed to be a very safe area. Overall I would say it was a fairly good value.

Warning, someone has entered our room and stolen our valuables while staying at Odalys City Aix en Provence Les Floridianes. Me and my partner were staying here for two nights in early August. We've left our valets in our room while having breakfast downstairs only to find both of them stripped of cash and my partner's ebook reader stolen shortly after we've left. If you choose to stay here, make sure to keep your valuables in the safe at all times (lesson learned for me) as if they are stolen, you'll likely never see them again. We have messaged hotel management and they claimed no one has entered our room according to the door card reader, but they've provided no evidence upon request nor CCTV recording.

Otherwise the stay was alright, although didn't feel like a 4 star experience.

Odalys was perfect for our week in Aix as it was close to the main old town whilst still being quiet and relaxing. We liked that we had the option to cook and prepare food in our studio and it was generally well equipped. However, we did feel like there could have been more utensils and cleaning equipment for self caterers. The pool area was lovely and quiet. The staff are always on hand to help, and a special thanks to Cyrille, the hotel manager, who was very accommodating in allowing us to rearrange our stay.

Very nice hotel, 10 mins walk from Aix old town

Very nice hotel, 10 minutes' walk from the old town, the coach station (for direct coaches to the TGV station and Marseille airport), and Aix main railway station. Staff were very friendly and the room was quiet and well equipped.

Only negative was the bathroom which could have been cleaner (I spotted black mould and items of litter on the floor behind the washbasin unit, albeit in a hard to reach place but did suggest the cleaning wasn't as thorough as it could have been), and there was quite a big step up to the shower which could be a problem for some.

The check in time of 4pm is also quite late, however as I arrived quite early I was allowed to leave my luggage at reception.

Overall, very nice stay and I will definitely consider staying here again.

Good location. Renovated Reception area is not representative of rooms. Toilet separate from bathroom with no sink in there. Paid extra for superior room with terrace - terrace access from bathroom! Most staff unfriendly. Had to get new room key every day as would stop working. Pool area grubby. Cannot believe this is 4 star.

Good property for price, nice swimming pool it was only in the sun until about 4pm but thats not the hotels fault. Room was clean and bed was comfertable. Staff were friendly and spoke good english. Lots of electrical outlets in the room which was good. Much closer to aix on provence station than google maps thinks. If you are going to marseille get the train even though gooogle says bus is quicker. Lots of nice places to eat and drink in aix en provence usual price per person for food is 20-30 pound. Only critisism is that it can be a bit noisy so bring ear plugs if you are a light sleeper. Possible recomendation for hotel is to attatch felt to bottom of chairs as the squeaking of chairs is quite loud.

The room was really tired and really small. The balcony was nice to have but only one sunbed and over looked by the other balcony’s. The pool area had a lot of wasps and was very crammed. The towels were threadbare and they didn’t provide any extra ones during our stay. I wouldn’t recommend, however , the reception staff were all lovely.

Good Place to stay. But the shower head in my room needs to be updated. The room is ok for two people but the shower fits only one person and if you are over weight that shower space is not for you. The air conditioning is loud but at least they have it in the room. Pool area is nice but if you are not a fan of mosquitos it’s not the best place to the hotel to stay. Overall good place to stay for a quick vacation.

This place has many convenience: close to downtown, grocery store, boutiques and many other attractions. We loved the fact that it had parking onsite because we had rented a car, it had a pool, and a balcony where we could have a meal. But we were surprised to find out that we could not get clean towels until after the 8th day! There was an extra cost! And only 1 towel per person! And no coffee after the 1st day! And you had to take your trash down yourself. Well, we may be spoiled Americans but I had never encountered this before. Some upgrading and upkeeping would be good also!

Good location shame about their penny pinching

This hotel was central, pleasant and reception was fantastic.
However they do not clean your room unless you pay 10€ extra.
Also there is a sign in the room that if you don’t wash the dishes you will be charged per item for the washing up.
I found this to be Penny pinching and mean. The hotel is not inexpensive to begin with.

Had a family room on the top floor with a large balcony. Room very clean and spacious. Corridors a little run down but no problem really. Staff welcoming, helpful and friendly. Bed very comfortable, room quiet. Blackout curtains, good kitchenette with fridge, microwave and dishwasher. We did not have breakfast. Close to town and bus and rail. Bowling accross street. Street parking reasonable. Would stay again

A great apartment hotel within easy walking distance of the old town.
The room was fully stocked and newly renovated. Garage parking for our rental car was appreciated, as were the easy-to-use washer and dryer located downstairs. Staff were truly exceptional. I would definitely stay here again.

A pleasant hotel with helpful staff in a good location in a quiet road but within ten minutes walk of the centre.
The room was spacious with comfortable beds, air conditioning and a useful kitchenette of which we only used the kettle. The bathroom was dated and was in need of a lick of paint as was the toilet, so if you want pristine it’s not the place for you. The pool area needed attention too; there were leaves and litter around.
We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment on food.
It’s quite expensive for what it is and it’s not a four star hotel but it does have a pool and on site parking, which is payable.

Wonderful Staff, Wonderful Location!

I just loved this place, so central and yet so peaceful once you were up in your room (we had a balcony from which you could see the hills) Extremely well appointed room for a couple staying who might want to do a little self catering (little microwave and dishwasher etc) Will definitely be staying here again. the staff were just amazing, so helpful (even with some unpatient customers who hadn't read the small print about the parking!) and the parking by the way is great, lots of space, city centre, not too expensive. Well done all the staff we had the most fabulous time :-)

• ‘balcony ‘ was roof of ?kitchen. With a ? Air duct/kitchen vent on it. Outside furniture was dirty, no cushions to put on it.
• fridge had large crack inside, was missing salad compartment & & drinks shelf. & broken door hinge, so fridge door not aligned. Inadequate cleaning equipment, or you had to pay to have the room cleaned if you were there 7 days. Shower was luke warm and weak flow. Safe broke twice in a week.

An absolute bargain for a small apartment in such a great city, practically next door to the train station, bus station, and city centre.
Very modern, clean, and the staff were amazing. The underground car park at 10 euros a night was perfect and definitely worth it, quite big and not so tight like others. (They had transits vans parked down there).

The apartment was billed as sleeping 4: this would have been possible only if nobody wanted to move during the night (e.g. to go to the bathroom). The apartment was small and the space was not well used; e.g. you get a separate toilet away from the rest of the bathroom; not only do you have to cross the kitchenette to wash your hands, a lot of useful space is wasted. The closet (about 50 cm wide) was minimal: there was room for 10 hangers (that works out at 2.5 per person) and there was no other space to store clothes. This means you have to live out of your suitcase, but there isn't enough floor room to leave four suitcases open at all times. The place was crammed and there were only 3 of us and we traveled with just hand luggage. The kitchenette was adequate but unfortunately you could only eat with a plate of your lap (no balcony or table) so we did not use it much. The AC was barely adequate on very warm days. The check-in time is 3 pm (at the very earliest) - you can use the pool, which is nice.

A great place to stay.

This is an excellent place. The staff are super helpful and the accommodation very well appointed with all that is needed in a kitchen including a small dishwasher provided in the room. We were there in a heatwave and the air conditioning coped well. Regarding the location, the hotel is no more than ten minutes walk from the town centre. At the end of the road is a small 'Spar' supermarket which is convenient. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff are always very kind and helpful. We have stayed there before and everything was fine. The only novelty is the fact that if you want your room cleaned then you have to pay 20 euros each time. I wasn't expecting that but people should be aware of this when booking .

A lovely, quiet hotel, only a 10 minute walk to town centre. All staff were friendly & helpful. A good buffet breakfast, with a choice including freshly squeezed oranges and pancakes. Room was clean, spacious and well furnished and included a kitchenette with microwave, hob and fridge. Bed was comfortable with crisp white, clean, cotton linen. Would stay there again.

Bathroom good. The toilet needed looked at as the water seemed to run continuously. Nice pool to relax by.

I had a last minutes stay need so booked at this hotel due to the 4 star rating. This is not a 4 star hotel. We started by getting assigned to a room where someone else was staying. The hotel gave us another room but told us we got an upgraded room at a \"great rate\". The room smelled musty covered by floral, it was very off putting. I found crumbs and hair on the sofa and a used tray from breakfast in the room. The water never got hot even after waiting a long time. I was also excited about the pool until I saw that you had to have brought your own towel as none are proved. Why would I bring my own towel to a hotel? I am not an overly picky person but when I see something has 4 stars out of 5 I expect something much different than what I got. I would not recommend this hotel for a short or long stay.

Very nice hotel after a busy day sight seeing

We spent one night in Aix-en-Provence. This hotel was perfect for a family of four. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The couch was also a twin bed and a trundle. My teenagers found it comfortable. It was difficult to find a hotel with parking so I was happy to pay 18 euro for hotel parking.

Hotel met the needs for parking (secure and underground helps keeping the car cool on hot summer days), a tiny kitchen space to do some cooking, a nice balcony spot to get some sun if you don't want to go down to the pool, and a laundry facility available for use (comes in handy on a multi-week trip). Overall it was a good place, the only drawback was that they assigned us a room that had a missing shower door and didn't mention it to us. When we told them that was the case and that water was getting all over the bathroom they said yes they knew and gave us extra towels. No biggie really but just something to mention.

Hotel was excellent and located very close to centre. Rooms was a little cozy but comfortable enough for two. Room and hotel were also very clean. Pool is available for use although no exercise room provided. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Hanna at front reception was always a pleasure to speak with and very helpful. She always greeted with a warm smile and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Her advice and tips also helped with our day trip to Marseille. Thanks to Hanna and staff for a pleasant stay. Would definitely return.

The hotel is a short walk from the centre of Aix. It has an underground car park which was very convenient and cheap.The neighbourhood is residential and very quiet
The hotel looks very modern but the room we had felt like something from the seventies - it was clean and comfortable but looked dated
We had a good size bed and a sofa bed. There is a small kitchenette facility which was great
The wi fi was dreadful - hard to connect and every time we did it dropped
The staff were very friendly and helpful

It's close to train station, bus terminal and city center in about 10 -15 minutes walk. We arrived from Arles by bus and walked to the hotel. From same bus terminal, we continued our trip to Nice.
The room was spacious and has all kinds of cooking uttensils( complete set up).

We had a few problems 1) constant noise from vent. 2) no phone in the room and no wake up call. 3) a strange smell in hallway like fish smell..

If someone wants to stay several days and cook meals, this hotel would be perfect.

Very modern and clean, staff very helpful

We arrived at the hotel with a very nice welcome from the hotel manager, who gave us a map of map of Aix and explained how to get to the town centre. We went to our room which was very clean and comfortable, even the sofa bed was very comfortable, which is a rarity with most hotels. The room is small but has everything you need, I would highly recommend staying here.

We were upgraded, had some cooking facilities. Big bathroom with bath good shower. Good bed. Nice pool. Breakfast wasn't much good though so don't bother with that. Helpful staff. Parking underneath at extra cost or take your chances on the street - we did & managed to park for 2 nights on the street for free. Good location not far to walk into town.

Stayed for 4 nights. Very comfortable bed, roomy bathroom with separate WC. Excellent s/c facilities but bring your own washing-up liquid, drying cloth etc. for times when you don't need to load the dishwasher (2 d/w tabs supplied). Garage at bottom of hill has food shop OK for essentials. Pool lovely but has ladder not steps so not suitable for some disabilities. It is also quite deep, even at the shallow end so not suitable for non/nervous swimmers. Bowling alley almost opposite has a bar and a takeaway pizza shop.

We loved this hotel, it's location was perfect just a short walk to all the action, but quiet and safe feeling. Lovely pool area, room was small but nice.

Great hotel but still about 15 mins walk to town

Great hotel, really clean and has great customer service. We used the laundry service which was good.4 euro. Had to pay for parking 10 euro per day to use the garage. Wifi was a problem as my office emails will not download. Most probably because there is no firewall. Called reception a few times and they said they reset the wifi on the 3rd floor. So it is not the strength of the wifi. Went to the Apple store down the road and all my emails downloaded with o problems. The Apple store told me it is the hotel wifi, maybe not secured. The pool was too cold to swim.

convenient to markets

the people at the hotel were Very helpful - making multiple calls for us when French fluency was required. they up-graded our room w/o any additional charge. it was quiet & a very good experience all around. we were so pleased i said i would definitely mention the hotel to friends. the pool looked lovely but we didn't have time to use it unfortunately.

Comfortable, clean and convenient

Overall hotel was comfortable and convenient for a short stay. Rooms most suited to two people (3rd at a aqueeze). Kitchen facilities good and nice big bathroom with good hairdryer. Ten minute walk from centre of town and hotel in quiet residential area so very little traffic noise. Only negative is that we found the car parking charge of €10 per day to be expensive. Being able to use Wi-fi in room great.

Good hotel for price - close to train

Very close to train station - the Aix station NOT the TGV station - about 5 minutes walk. Clean grounds, clean rooms, fresh towels daily. my one complaint was we stayed 5 days and 5 nights and our sheets only got changed on day 4. very helpful receptionists. most spoke English so easy to communicate. quite a walk from the main attractions, but not too terrible.Very sizable balcony to lounge and eat breakfast or enjoy the sunset. fridge, dishwasher, utensils, crockery all available.

Looks Good on Paper

We stayed at the Residence Les Floridianes for two out of the three nights we prepaid. This Apart-Hotel looked good in its promotional material but came up short in real life. Staff was helpful and \"upgraded\" our reservation upon check-in, but the room we ended up with came up short on cleanliness and room size/layout. Flatscreen TV never did work, even after two day's complaints, not that we really wanted to hang out and watch TV. We ended up checking out a day early and eating the extra night's cost. Windows and bathroom were dirty, layout was quite cramped for a \"studio\". However, the location was fairly good being only a 15 minute walk from the center of town. Staff was good and comped us the E10/day parking.

Wouldn't stay again...definitely not a 4 star

Hotel was not in a great location and rooms were dated in poor condition. The bed was broken in one room but they moved us to a different room.

However, the morning receptionist was very friendly and extremely helpful in planning our time in aix and making reservations in wineries.

convenient to Cours Mirabeau and old Aix

Booked Floridianes based on convenience to walk to old quarter of Aix. That made it a plus. Comfortable bed and room enough to relax, but just for 2. Take advantage of the parking for10 euro a day as you won't need a car to enjoy old Aix. Easy access to the Motorways to Marseilles, Les Baux, Camarque, Nimes and Montpellier. Be aware that it's not fancy, but remarkably convenient when in transit or for those seeking a home base to enjoy Provence.

Great location and very caring staff

Loved every minute neighbours a little noisey at weekend but with the use of the ac and shutting windows all was well. Would recommend these apartments to any of our family or friends. The pool was wonderful and so good to have a laundry facility.

Convenient and satisfactory

The hotel is very conveniently situated in relation to the city center. It is located in a narrow quiet street and the building is unassuming, hardly looking like a hotel. Breakfast is quite generous:fresh fruits, eggs, juices, variety of breads, cheeses, etc. Rooms with balcony are good sized. Shower box strangely small. Personnel available and nice. Overall, good value for price.

Lovely apart-hotel a few minutes from the centre

Lovely staff, very clean comfortable room. We hadn't realised we'd have cooking facilities in the room (microwave, hob, cutlery, sink, etc.) which was a bonus. Also we had a beautiful big balcony. The pool is great and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It's about a 5 minute walk to the Cours Mirabeau which is the main thoroughfare through the centre of Aix.

Air conditioning that worked! Great staff

Very pleasant. Parking easy. Great accommodation for three. Spent the last 2 nights at another hotel suffering from the heat and poor air conditioning. Finally cool at night!
