Great small hotel! The room was spacious, bad comfortable, and everything very clean and tidy. They had a list of nearby restaurants that were open for dining on Monday nights, which is a night that's hard to find restaurants. Everyone at the front desk was very gracious. Breakfast was delicious.

The breakfasts are really good with a lot to choose from. Patrick is great!!! The desk staff are all very helpful and nice. The room cleaning was done with great care and performed early daily after I went out. The location is near the center of Aix providing wonderful strolls to the cafe’s, restaurants, and museums. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is rated as a 4 star and it is definitely a 3 star. From the moment you walk in, you can tell the Lobby area is in need of upgrading. It is dark and old looking. Carpets on stairs, hallways and rooms are worn. We were entitled to an upgraded room and when we checked in we were told they didn’t have one. They put us in room 311 which was like a motel. Small, old yellow paint on walls was chipped and gouged, carpet stains, a literal dirt and water stain running down the wall. I was actually disgusted by the room. After complaining to the Mgt, we were moved the following day into a junior suite, which was better on all fronts.

Write up says there is a bar. The bar is a liquor cabinet in the lobby. This hotel is definitely not a 4 star.

The breakfast had a large variety of very good options and a pleasant sitting area. It was clean and well stocked. Our room was fabulous, a junior suite so it was large, light and airy and very comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious, a nice large tub and shower. The cleanliness was maintained throughout our visit which we appreciated. The help getting tickets and taxis and information at the front desk was also very good. I would say some booklets about current activities in town might be helpful, something to look through to see what music and special events are happening in town. They had little booklets at the tourist office though not everyone goes to the tourist office and the hotel desk personnel may not be familiar with all the things going on. We had a wonderful visit all in all and the help over email prior to our visit as well as the friendly and thorough service during our visit made for a comfortable stay! Thank you to all!

This lovely hotel is located steps from the regional train station, but it’s still a wonderful area. So convenient to the Fontaine de la Rotonde with all its cafés, shopping, tourist information and on specific days, the open markets. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. The room is spotless, the shower is beautiful and easy to use.
A terrific bed to come home to after a day wandering Aix-en-Provence. I would definitely return here and will be recommending it to others.

I had a lovely stay at the Cézanne. I had travelled from UK by Eurostar and TGV— the bus station was a10 minute walk away as are the museums, restaurants etc— great position. The breakfast was very varied and generous and you could eat it in the secluded terrace. Staff were very friendly and helpful and my room was beautifully clean. What more could you ask for? Highly recommended.

Hotel is conveniently situated close to major attractions, staff is extremely helpful and accommodating to all requests, including setting up a place on the terrace where we enjoyed lunch made of the produce from the local market. Shops are within the 7-10 minutes walk from the hotel. Air conditioner controls where a bit quirky but we managed it.

Check in wasnt ready for us at 3.00 as suppsed yo. We saw a mouse running in the dining area. The overhead shower wasnt initially working. One of the reading lights wasnt working either. The vip complimentary drink, we adked to change for water bottles, it took a while to have the staff to accept to change from alchoolic to water.

My initial review was not positive as they had no air conditioning. It was an unusually hot day for May 1, but I was told that the hotel only has air conditioning in the summer. That was not acceptable to me. However, the staff had read the review and was very nice to us the next day and that was very helpful. Exceptional hotel and staff

I wish I could live here. What an amazing hotel, location, and above all, Staff. They couldn't have been more wonderful, especially for a traveler who arrived with a somewhat serious leg injury. Within 2 hours the front desk had arranged for a local pharmacy to deliver crutches to the hotel, and one of the front desk supervisors/managers came up to my room with them to make sure they fit right. I was unable to do any of the trips that my friends and I had planned, but I was treated so well by every member of the staff and I swear I'll be back to explore the beautiful countryside of Provence and when I do return, I'm staying at this gem of a hotel.

A gem in the centre of town

A gem of a hotel right in the centre of town. The staff are so helpful and friendly, the room was super-comfortable and stylish, and breakfast was good value.
Private parking for a fee meant l didn’t have to leave the rental car in a public garage overnight. A really lovely stay!

This hotel was absolutely charming. The lobby/sitting area was like an old fashioned living room and a nice area to relax in. We were pleasantly surprised to find out we had been upgraded to a Junior Suite and having the extra room and sitting area was lovely. The staff was so kind and helpful in answering questions and sharing directions. This property is a little further away from the main area of town with all of the restaurants etc so after sightseeing all day, we ended up basing our eating options on what was closer. We loved Aix En Provence and if we are ever fortunate to visit the area again, we would definitely stay here.

We accidentally made our reservation for one day earlier than it should have been. The staff did everything possible to make the needed changes without complaint. An excellent property. We used Aix and the Hotel Cezanne as our base for day trips around Provence for 4 days. It couldn’t have been better. There was lots to see and do in Aix and the hotel was about 2 blocks from the main section. We had a deluxe room which was spacious and perfectly set up.

Beautiful hotel on the outskirts of the town centre. It was very handy for walking to the bus/train station (<5 mins) and into town (~5-10 mins). The hotel and rooms were recently renovated so were beautifully decorated - and we were very grateful for an upgrade. We had a lovely, comfortable and quiet stay and would definitely recommend.

We greatly enjoyed our stay , and the location is walkable to the old town restaurants and shopping areas.
We did have an issue with it being too warm in our room and therefore we all slept poorly, causing us to check out a day early. We lost a night’s payment, which was frustrating as we had specifically confirmed that there was air conditioning. The hotel said it only turns on central AC when it is over 22 degrees Celsius, and disarms the individual AC in rooms
Apparently, Expedia advertises that this hotel has AC , but the hotel website does not.
So while this is an Expedia issue, the hotel dud give our room to a walk in customer and therefore collected payment twice on our room .
I will be taking this up with Expedia as well

Staff friendly and helpful. Parking is limited but bookable in advance.

Short walk to centre.

Overall, it cannot be faulted and we would love to return.
