Mercure Hotel it is very well
Located in a good area with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The rooms are good size with comfortable mattresses and the bathroom has a shower with good shower pressure and amenities like shampoo, conditioner, hairdryer etc. The staff is very friendly and welcoming.

Great hotel, located in one of the best neighborhoods in Sao Paulo. Great gym with all you need to keep up with your workouts. Pool was great too even for laps.
Breakfast was great with bacon, eggs, tons of fruits, and cook to order omelets and tapiocas. Thursday mornings they close the street in front for a farmers market and you must try the pastel there! Great for people working remotely as they have a coffee shop right in front of the hotel as well.

Nice low-key option in a safe neighborhood. Breakfast is good with plenty of hot-cold choices. Pool is okay. Rooms could stand a renovation, but they are decent and clean. Would stay again.

Over the years and Express Check-out

I have stayed in this hotel several times over the past 5 years but I have noticed a decrease in room quality, such as old furniture, issues with window opening, toilets that clog easily, loose handles and bad fixtures. However, it is still very comfortable and you can't beat the location. One important recommendation: If your check-out is during the weekend or if you are in a rush, don't forget to ask for express check-out so you can leave the hotel just by dropping your key in a box instead of being in a very long queue and risk missing your transportation or being late for whatever is next in your trip (especially keeping Sao Paulo's unpredictable traffic in mind). You won't be able to get express check-out if you don't sign up for it during check-in.

Good location. Rooms arre comfortable. Nice buffet for breakfast and good dishes in the restaurant. The taxi station just in front the entrance is convenient.
Would be nice if people at the reception would speak english or spanish.

A short night in a good room

I was at the Mercure SP Vila Olímpia for just one night. The junior suite was large and very clean. But it looked a bit dated and aged. Maybe a reform or some upgrades could be done in a near future. The bed was large, firm and very good, with excellent goose pillows. All in all, a good rest on a short night. Good place to book and stay.

The hotel was nice, although the rooms looked a little out-dated when I arrived. The staff were nice and friendly. We did have an issue where we lost power and the hotel was running on a generator so the Wifi was down - I know this was not the hotel's fault but still it was inconvenient when I was on a business trip and couldn't get access to my emails.

The hotel is very clean and has everything needed for a good stay ( some coffee and tea along with the kettle could make it better).

Nice business hotel in decent part of SP

Its a little oasis, perhaps slightly over priced, in the heart of the vila olympia , a rather decent part of southwest SP. The photos presented on expedia do not do the property justice,m as it is much cleaner and prettier in person. Certainly, the only reason you would be there is probably to visit family or on business, and it is the only option in the immediate area. as such; l the price is agreeable as there is no other options.
Still , a solid location, internet is fast and reliable, the staff were super sweet. I forget the name of one, but she was the sweetest receptionist I've ever dealt with.

the hotel is ok, it's under reforms so it's trying to get updated.
it has a nice swimming pool, not a splash pool, but a half olympic swimming pool (25m), suitable for excercizing while u r on your business trip, clean and shallow (1.25m in the deepest end)
The rooms are ok, a bit outdated decoration, noisy A/C and not very comfy beds, too jumpy for my taste.
Breakfast is not included, so i didnt try their room service as well.
There are lots of places u can have some coffee close by.

Anyway, the rate per night paid in Expedia was really a small fraction of their listed price (so this is a big plus for expedia).

Mercure Sao Paulo Vila Olimpia has a great neighborhood, vila olmpia is a business neighborhood, it won't take a long time to find a lot of restaurant and bars. It's really close to 3 big supermarkets and has a morning market closely.

Comfortable stay, friendly to English speakers

I had a great time at Mercure. I was on a business trip there for a week and I was a little worried about getting around without knowing Portuguese. The staff at the hotel spoke English well and helped me figure out everything. I foolishly forgot to think about power plug adapters and they let me borrow one at the front desk for free. I had one issue: it seems the maid threw out my cell phone case which I had laying on the night stand when I went out. I don't believe she would have stolen it, its useless without another piece, but it was a careless mistake.

very nice staff, but Sao Paulo is pricey, especially if you want to stay in a nice and convenient part of town. For the same amount of money you could probably get a hotel with much nicer amenities in the US. I was there for a wedding and the price was similar to what other guests traveling paid. Bathrooms were a bit small, but overall room size was ok. I could not request a king size bed online (only specify the number of guests) and was originally given a room with two single beds (small). Hotel staff was very friendly and gave me another room with a king size bed.

Close to Ibirapuera park, convenient price

It is a 10 - 15 minutes taxi drive from Ibirapuera, which was the reason why I choose the hotel as the event I went to, took place there.
The area has very good restaurants, is very safe and taxis are very easy to get.
The bedroom was ok, clean and comfortable, the only thing I really didn't like was a little noise of the AC that randomly happened.
It is definitely not a leisure hotel, but is a very good option for business travel and also, not expensive compared to some other options near by.

Misleading marketing - very poor Internet service

The advertised 'high-speed Internet' was limited to 128 kbps which rendered the entire Internet connection unusable.

The room was ok but the English skills of the staff were poor and it was difficult to make oneself understood.

The towels were the quality of Motel 6 in the US.

Gostamos do hotel, o café tem poucas opções, mas é gostoso, para quem precisar de uma segunda cama recomendo já pedir a cama móvel, pois o sofá cama que tem a disposição é muito dura. De resto a limpeza e organização é muito legal. Único ponto é relacionado ao estacionamento, funciona direitinho, mas a edução peca muito e de quase todos os manobristas, que as vezes faz pensar se cuidam direito do carro.

Esta foi minha terceira vez no hotel. Possui bom custo/benefício, com cama confortável, roupas de cama e banho de qualidade, ar condicionado silencioso e amenidades de banho de ótima qualidade também. A localização é boa, sendo possível ir a alguns locais à pé. Próximo ao aeroporto de Congonhas (15min de carro). Para a maioria dos restaurantes e bares mais badalados de São Paulo, será necessário utilizar algum meio de transporte, mas o valor pago e o conforto oferecido é plenamente satisfatório. Atendentes da recepção cordiais e o restaurante do hotel atende bem as necessidades de serviço de quarto, caso necessário.

Problemas sempre podem acontecer. Porém o staff foi super atencioso e atendeu prontamente todas as nossas solicitações, tornando a estada tão agradável quanto poderia ser. Merece ser destacado negativamente apenas o café do café da manhã: O restaurante usa um café de torra excessiva, que para paladares mais aguçados torna praticamente impossível degustar, mesmo diluindo o mesmo em agua. No mais, a localização é adequada, permitindo se deslocar com carro de aplicativo facilmente entre as atrações próximas e o aeroporto de congonhas com baixo tempo de deslocamento.

Gosto de me hospedar neste Hotel porque é bem localizado, cama confortável e excelente Café-da-manhã. Os funcionários são atenciosos e solícitos e te atendem imediatamente. A cafeteira estava com mal funcionamento e foi trocada. O problema dos quartos do Mercure são os espelhos na porta do armário que fica ao lado da cama, pertubando o sono e impedindo que a gente possa checar a roupa antes de sair. É problema velho e fácil de resolver.

É sempre um bom hotel para se hospedar em SP. Excelente localização, muitos lugares acessíveis, restaurantes, bares, local tranquilo e silencioso. Entretanto, precisei de pedir a troca dos travesseiros, muito desconfortáveis e a duchinha higiênica estava com vazamentos. Mas são questões pontuais, facilmente corrigíveis! Recomendo!
