This Hotel is clean, accomodating, comfortable, and a great place to relax, wash, and sleep. Some of the staff speak more languages than Portuguese, which was very helpful. Great breakfast each morning. Made sure I was comfortable without being intrusive. I hope I get to stay here again. Highly recommend.

Leaking AC. They offered a new room, I accepted. After two hours of not being assigned a new room, I decided to stay in the room with the leaking AC, because I had two kids that needed to sleep (it was past 22:00). The following day, I went out in the morning, came back at night to find out that NO ONE FIXED IT DURING THE DAY BECAUSE I DID NOT ASK!!!

I was expecting more from this brand, there wasn’t even courtesy water or it wasn’t indicated to us clearly that if there was or weren’t. The bathroom was very small specially the shower the dimensions are not optimal. The pool was not as seen as attractive as the pictures and it felt more for exercise than lounging.

For highlights, the breakfast was great, the bed was very confortable and the staff was friendly.

But if you’re looking for something closer to tourist destinations, you might want to consider something closer to the center like Paulista or another place.

1- internet issues - our phones didn’t get good internet access, and when we complaint, we received a call almost mid night from a third party vendor to test it.

2- Shampoo dispenser was not working and the hotel never replaced it.

3- We left a white tape in the shower space, and it was never removed, since the first day of the stay, so that space has not been cleaned or sanitized since then, until the end of the week, that we left the hotel.

All was good apart from the young lady at reception she was rude the management needs to give lessons on manners when speaking to customers and also English lessons as a lot of english tourist travel to brazil frandez was excellent at reception helped anyway possible breakfast was good enjoyed my stay.

There was construction going on across the street, but the sound was well dampened by the windows and only obvious when the windows were open.
Hotel is centrally located, with short walks to restaurants and small shops.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, though there is no concierge.

O hotel e’ muito bem localizado e possui um restaurante muito bom, tanto para serviço de quarto como cafe da manha. O único ponto que realmente desapontou foi a qualidade da internet. Durante minha estada de 3 dias, tive problemas de lentidão ou falta de conexão varias vezes, o que impactou seriamente minha capacidade de trabalho no local, tendo que procurar alternativas ao redor do hotel. Para o valor cobrado pela diária, eu sinceramente esperava não ter esse tipo de problema.

The first day we arrived, the phone system and the wifi wasn’t working. Pretty much unsafe in case we needed to contact the front desk. The washroom had a clogged sink and a very small shower.
A front desk staff called Isabela was very professional and willing to solve wifi/tv which was very difficult to operate.
There was a glass door fridge in the bedroom with a light inside that we had to use a towel to cover the glow. What a bad idea.

Good hotel in a quiet neighbourhood

This hotel is located in a quiet neighbouring and provides good quality of stay for guest. But if you want more cheerful area with more things going on it’s Paulista av. wi fi in a hotel is free but terrible as almost no connection. Had constant leak in a shower cubicle resulting in a paddle on the bathroom floor every day. It was dried and cleaned by the staff but how about fixing it once and for all?
But all in all it’s a good place to stay with good daily breakfast.

great hotel in a great neighborhood

The place was clean, and the breakfast was excellent with a great setup. I would definitely return in a heartbeat. The only area that needs improvement is the pool— the water wasn't very clean. Other than that, the reception staff was young but very helpful. They took the time to assist with my luggage when there were no other customers waiting. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in the area. It's a wonderful neighborhood, and I had a great experience overall. Thank you

The room floor was pretty dirty. The bathroom had humidity all over the walls. The shower box would leak water. The shower head had mold and one of the shower handles was broken (cap off).
We ended up leaving the property on the next morning.

Very disappointed with the maintenance of this building. Mattress not comfortable and the tablet bowl was detaching from the floor when sitting.

I came very early and the apartment they gave to me was dirty, no towels and the bed a support broken. Then they changed to other “ply” meaning the same thing just renew the room and charge the difference. They are taking advantage and given room to Expedia costumer that aren’t ready and not remodeling. I don’t think it is fair because it is the same twin beds. Just because it’s painted and cheap. Also the bathroom Rialto bowl shakes when you sit in it. Unfortunately it is Christmas, I made a long trip and I have to stay, in order to get close to my relatives houses. The area it is phenomenal with restaurants and shops! Their breakfast really good!
I believe they should put more attention for supervision maintenance. The staff are amazing and always trying to help. The corporate should supervise all the rooms constantly

The property is in very good shape. The employees are courteous. Just beware that when you see the picture for the twin bed it’s 2 twin beds. It’s not a full or a queen with a twin little bed .Strange for an upscale hotel to have two twin beds in a room, but I guess it’s Brazil.

The restaurant is great. The restaurant staff are excellent. The location is perfect. The front desk staff in the morning were good. The AC in the room was noisy and there was a water leak in the room above mine that was making a noise, and I told the front desk guy and it must have been fixed because the noise stopped. The WiFi works quite well.
However, this is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this hotel and we asked not to be disturbed in the room. My husband works remotely all day and sometimes works until midnight. Since the pandemic, we have avoided having the cleaners come to clean the room every day. We explained all this to the front desk, and even so, in the evening, 3 people from the hotel showed up without having called my room beforehand, to see if everything was okay. I understand that they are supposed to check on guests - however, my husband and I were seen every morning at breakfast, and I left and returned to the hotel daily - so it was obvious that we were fine. When they came to my room at night (around 9pm), my husband was in an online meeting, and I had just taken a shower, and I had to open the door in my pajamas. I don't know what it takes to have the \"do not disturb\" request respected.

The hotel is beautiful outside with a nice lobby and a panoramic elevator. It’s located near a mall and Moema subway station. The neighborhood is one of the best in São Paulo. But the rooms are outdated and do not meet the standards for an upscale hotel. The bathroom sink was cracked and the shower had mold all over it. The huge room had some old furniture and a tiny TV.

I specifically requested and early check in when booking. Nobody answered me and to my surprise, no room was available. I arrived early in the morning after an overnight flight and needed to shower before my meetings.
I had to book a room at a City hotel near-by to take a shower and change to be ready for my meetings. Even though they may say that early check in is subject to availability, you may have written back that the hotel is full the night before and it’s unlikely to offer early check in. Communication is key in the hospitality industry. Melia is not doing good at taking care of their guests. Price is not the only factor that drives the hospitality industry, my dear hoteliers.

The hotel is great! The location is great. The breakfast is fantastic! The only problem is that since the pandemic, I prefer not to have cleaning staff come into my room. I never had any problems with this, however, one night, a cleaning man along with a front desk receptionist knocked really loudly on my room door at 10pm to see if everything was “ok. The girl at the front desk had already seen me arrive at the hotel, so I don't know why she needed to come to my room and knock on the door so loudly. The next morning I went to the front desk to complain, and was told that this is not standard procedure - that they should have called my room first and not just knock on my door at 10pm.

Great location, but definetly not a 4 star. The rooms are noisy (not from external sources, but between walls). Super easy to wake up when anyone walks the halls. Shower is 3ft×3ft, and while it has good presure, it is super tiny (I'm 6\"2 and struggled with it). Good bed and bedding. Internet subpar (slow and glichy). Breakfast was ok, some low quality products.

I like the location as it is easy to go to restaurants. CONS: Bathroom with black mold between tiles and maid saying couldn’t clean it at all even when I pointed it and asked for.
No service as picking up your luggage when you arrive in front of hotel - but only from inside the hotel to the room.
I had one staff very good and helpful and he would get a taxi for me on the street.
Staff of this hotel needs training on hospitality and friendliness.
Housekeeping refusing to give me a little sachê with soluble coffee saying “this is just a courtesy” and not giving me the coffee that is a courtesy saying they run out of it. I had to ask to the front desk and they gave me the “courtesy” coffee that I use once in the morning.
One day the sheets were not put underneath the duvet, so it was late and I had to sleep directly with a rough duvet. Then next day to talk again with that maid to fix it. Then they put a nice bed sheets.
Towels harsh and old - really.
The last day pillows and bed sheets were sprayed with a fragrance like Gleid. Possible that the maid wanted to care but that fragrance was not good for a restful sleep and also very strong like a synthetic cleaning product smell. So I barely sleep my last night in this hotel.
Breakfast was ok having two staff very friendly. The other ones just very serious and not friendly at all.
In resume: this hotel could be much better if the administration care to give them training on hospitality.

Starting with the expected reserves superior room it was nothing like the photo on Expedia, the room was not as large nor did it have a balcony, very misleading. There were long hairs on the bathroom floor, so it was not properly cleaned, the ceiling on the very small shower stall is falling apart, due to the shower head spraying everywhere. I had requested a late check out of two hours and was charged $65.00USD. You cannot leave a credit card for restaurant or incidental charges, you’ll need to pay as you go every time. The breakfast buffet was great on pastries and some fresh fruits and juices but only had watery scrambled eggs and bacon that seemed overly cooked, so is only coffee, fruits and pastries. Overall I will not consider this property again, and do not recommend the same.
