Great stay - kids loved the pool area and the bedroom for 4 was fine for a young family. Buffet is as you would expect for an all-inclusive package, but the grill restaurant (extra cost) was delicious on the 1 night we had it.
Location is fine, in between Porte Pollencia and Alcudia, but plenty of bus and taxi services available to get you where you want to go.

Lovely hotel. Enjoyed our stay. Friendly helpful staff. Rooms comfortable. Food was tasty and lots of choice. Enjoyed access to tennis courts and table tennis and gym.
Adult only pool and restaurant was nice.
Close to both porta pollensa and Alcudia towns on the local bus.
Beach is very close and nice to swim in but have to cross a busy road to get to it
No sun loungers around the pool - they get booked up early in the morning.
Extra charges for many food and drinks even though all inclusive.
Robes and slippers in the room would have been lovely.

This was my second trip here with my kids. The accommodation, grounds and staff were excellent but there were two notable changes l didn't like.

First, they recontoured the pool making it much shallower which was a shame as both myself and my kids much preferred the pool before.

Second, when we last came l would say the food was a real highlight for us but this time the standard has really dropped. There was a lot of very average and cheap food to fill out the buffet and some of the food was poorly cooked. When you pay a lot of money for your holiday l expect a certain level of service but this time the food really let the holiday down and it wasn’t just my opinion. There were also huge queues for the food so we ended up waiting in line for up to 15-20 minutes.

I won’t be returning but that’s more to do with the fact l enjoy new experiences. If the hotel address the points noted above l’d recommend the hotel.

Serge at the front desk was very helpful with our checkin. One of our bedsheets had a shoe mark on it and we encontered the same issue with the prevoius resort in Mallorca as well. Other than that everything is fine. Breakfaat is decent with enough choices. Room is spacious only problem waa the mosquitos.

We stayed one night before getting ferry from Alcúdia and they gave us a very small room in H block at the furthest point away from main areas.
Restaurant in adults only area was good for dinner and breakfast. Have stayed before a few years ago for two nights and experience was completely different room much better.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay here. We thought the food, the staff and hotel where excellent. When going away we always like to book multiple stays at different locations. We spent 5 nights here and this was our top hotel this summer put of the 4. We will be coming back here in the future.

Me and my family recently stayed here and while the overall experience was pleasant, there was a significant issue that left me somewhat disappointed. Due to a global Windows outage issue, my flight was cancelled, causing me to arrive at the hotel a night later than planned. I encountered many difficulties during my travel and informed the hotel of my situation.

Despite my hotel booking agency requesting a one-night refund on my behalf, the hotel was very strict about their policy and did not accommodate the request. While I understand that they were not obligated to provide a refund, I was hoping for a small gesture or acknowledgment of the challenges I faced. A simple token of goodwill would have greatly improved my perception and made me feel more valued as a guest.

Aside from this, the hotel amenities were good, the staff was professional, and the room was comfortable. However, this experience left me feeling that the hotel could have shown more empathy and concern for their guests’ experiences, especially under such stressful circumstances.

Gem of a resort! We stayed for a week with family (teenaged children) for a mix of tennis, cycling, and exploring the island. Depending on what you are looking for, this is a great spot. Rent a car and you are minutes to Port de Pollenca or Alcudia - both fabulous for a bit of local shopping and dining. Palma is less than an hour away, and Soller is about 45 minutes. Rooms were large enough, with tons of storage for gear & clothes. Do NOT eat at the resort for anything other than the included breakfast - dinner is over-priced and awful. If you rent a car there is parking, but the spots are super super tight, which was the norm anywhere we went. We were not on the resort much, but the adults only area was nice, and the kids pool looked equally nice (and much bigger). Staff was great, and if you book tennis lessons definitely ask for Simon - fabulous instructor and had great insights on where to eat a visit. And if you cycle, I rented a bike via the hotel website which was fabulous. Cap de Formentor is 15 minutes away, Coll de Sa Batalla was great, and if you have the legs keep going to Sa Calobra. Would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely hotel with nature reserve views

Lovely stay, good location for accessing what the island has to offer, be that beach or mountain, descent buffet offering and we loved the hide on the nature reserve out the back of the hotel, each morning we watched kingfishers, marsh harrier and many warblers across the marshland, very beautiful!

4th time I’ve been there and generally would highly recommend. Although worth noting, buying through a third party, the Spa isn’t included.
Unfortunate the air con wasn’t working very well and they had to break into my room due to the electronic lock system not working.

Lovely property

Lovely property, complete with meandering paths around pools and ponds. A small flock of mallards who preferred the pool to the pond was an unexpected twist to pool time, which delighted our 2 year old.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating in the hotel. Restaurant staff was less sharp, but fine.

Food was about what you expect from a buffet, fine but not much to write home about. Grilled veggies on the a la carte menu for the pool grill were perfectly done.

some very rude staff, some ignored us some just indifferent, treated as children not guests - being all inclusive no incentive for staff to be nice -ie no tipping mechanism so service reflects that they -it was busy and they were working ...but the vibe was they were annoyed to see you not happy to see you. would not revisit - better options for the money. lights out at 11pm when bars closed at midnight ... really did not want you to be there a second longer than they had to be...

The layout of the property did not feel hotel like which we loved, we stayed in the village room which was loverly with a balcony and loungers.
The adults only area was perfect for us and quiet which included the breakfast room and pool area with a bar.
To the other side of the hotel was the main pool and pool restaurant which was also great with a shop for essentials.
We visited the buffet once which offered an abundance of everything for all ages.
The water sports to the front of the hotel was also good to have.
Alcudia and port pollensa were also close to travel with a taxi for around €10 in both directions.
We would definitely go again.

Facilities and staff were lovely, the hotel backs onto the nature reserve which is wonderful and scenic. The front of the hotel faces the ocean across a busy road with rocky access to the water. Lots of kite surfing takes place along this stretch. We we’re thankful to have a hire car as the nearest beach is a couple of miles away. The food and service at the pool side bar and grill was very very good, there was a great selection of drinks available on the all inclusive as well as ice creams for the kids and desserts.

We stayed at this hotel with our two children (5 and 4) in April and enjoyed an excellent holiday.

The hotel is located on the main road between Pollenca and Alcudia and although it is not possible to walk to either there is a frequent bus in both directions from the front of the hotel and the taxis are easily found and inexpensive. We didnt regret the location.

The hotel itself is well equiped with several pools and good dining and drinking options. We found the food options very good and there was lots of choice for all the family. We stayed all inclusive and enjoyed some drinks in the evening; the all inclusive drinks are main brands, if that is your wish, or there are local options which were also very good. We were very happy with what was on offer.

There is a large pool in the centre of the hotel, albeit it is not heated which was an issue in April! There is also a smaller heated pool where our kids spent most of their time.

Our room was well equipped and maintained, albeit it was only just big enough for the four of us. All rooms seemed to have a terrace (as we had) or a balcony - very welcome.

The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were especially impressed by the animation team who were friendly and enthusiastic. The evening entertainment was fairly limited in April but we certainly enjoyed it as did our kids. Our children went into the kids club and they really enjoyed it. Serena in particular was ace.

We will be returning!

Pros and Cons

This is a family resort, and it has pros and cons. The best parts are the amazing spa overlooking the bay, and the proximity to water sports on that same bay. The pools are also nice. The cons are the crazy loud dish banging that accompanies every meal, destroying all ambiance, and the environment - mosquitos, stagnant water, pervasive duck aroma. The food variety is good, but the food itself is not up to par. Service is good, staff is helpful. It’s a lovely place in many ways!

This was a fantastic hotel in a great location. If you want to see around the area it's best to hire a car or take organised transport as it's a few kms to the nearest beautiful ports of Pollentia and Alcudia. The pools are great and it's right on the sea front too.

The perfect place we could have stayed in with our two kids aged 5&8 to make our first family holiday memories.

All of the staff were friendly and helpful; absolutely no complaints there.

The main pool was beautiful and the spa pool beside it was so lovely and warm.

The buffet breakfast was delicious and the themed evening dinner buffets were great too.

Only minor downsides were the queuing system for popular things to eat - perhaps the buffet could be reconfigured a little bit. Also, probably with all destinations, you have to wake up early to reserve a sun bed by placing a towel on the spots you want; they are all gone by 9am but they start becoming free again at around 5pm when it is still hot and sunny.

It’s a short drive to Pollentia or Alcudia - we hired a car but noticed there were frequent buses from the front of the hotel so a car isn’t a necessity.

We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Our kids were in absolute heaven with the “mini disco” dance every night and amazing performances. Rooms were comfortable and the pool was great. We enjoyed easy access to PortoPollenca and Alcudia. But kids could have spent the whole time on the property!

Stayed all inclusive, the food was good but not very varied. If you don't eat meat/fish it's very limited. The sea is opposite but no beach. Good spa and gym. The adult pool is lovely but people hog the loungers. Drinks are good, many staff are really friendly. The room was tired but clean. Minibar in room is stocked and included...just wish there had been tea/coffee in room, there was a kettle but nothing to make with it. Bus to Alcudia beach was good, easy to get to Port de Pollensa by public bus. Enjoyed it mostly but wouldn't return.

Property needs updating, lots of starlings nesting in the eaves so early morning wake up. Property gardens are maintained well, however all petrol mowers and cutters so from around 08:15 you are woken with the noise of the machines and feels like being on a building site. Food is average at best. The best item about the hotel are the staff who are excellant

Nice hotel but overpriced for value and under staffed.
- Pros - low rise buildings are so much nicer than a towering hotel. The main pool is really great, deep but also shallow areas for the kids. Warmer pool next to the main pool with spa jets. Nice to have the combo of family area and adults only. The interconnecting rooms were a big plus although we were not allocated this on arrival despite 2 requests in writing well in advance. After some juggling rooms were changed for us to accommodate which was helpful as it was one of the reasons we booked.

- Cons - The evening entertainment is impossible to escape as it is so loud throughout the resort. The buffet is average, breakfast is nice but the dinners are basic apart from the carvery which is generally nice (pork etc). The pool side food is very poor. The service was also extremely poor throughout the stay and I think this is probably a result of being understaffed. Not very friendly and huge waits to be served drinks during meals and also table service at lunch time by the pool. We actually had meals when we were not even served a drink. Entertainment staff are okay but we’ve experienced far better in other places in Spain.
Location is not ideal. It’s next to a nature reserve but not close to a beach. There is a tiny strip of beach to launch kite surfing from but it’s covered in weed and not suitable for swimming. Buses run every 20-30mins but sometimes they drive straight past the hotel.

The place was clean, the food was good, my only wish is that things stayed open a little later (bars closed at 12 presumably because of COVID). Overall fantastic stay and accomodation!

The best thing about the hotel was the quality and selection of the food.
We booked a Village plus room. The photos showed it has a separate lounge area but it did not. Its one room with a sofa and a chair, its very deceiving. There was no Bidet and the minibar is empty, apparently they do not stock the mini bars. The housekeeping was atrocious and they do not replace the towels. There are also many ponds scattered around the resort, its looks pretty but the stagnant water is a breeding ground for mosquitoes. Make sure to take lots of mosquito spray etc. Some reception staff were helpful but the majority need to work on their customer service skills.We'll never be back.

The only good things about these property are the food and the spa. The staff is extremely rude and they rip you off . I made a reservation for the largest available room when I got to the property I was told the rate only provides for 1 person. Even though it clearly states up to 4 adults and 2 children, I was informed only one bed will be available in the room. After calling the manager I opted for 2 smaller rooms and I was promised will be adjoining only to find out one room is at the second floor for 1 night than will move us close together. My room took long time to be “ ready”, when I check in the bathroom was invaded by flies and other insects. I would have very much canceled but coming from USA after a long journey was a bit tired to look for another reservation. The property is not beach front you have to take the shuttle which only runs once a day or bike or drive to the beach, the swimming pools are crowded and noisy. The spa is amazing contrary to all evils this hotel presented to me, and the spa staff is extremely courteous and efficient. I only recommend the spa and the Thai massage, best I’ve ever had!

This was our 6th year visiting this hotel. Is it perfect? No, but no hotel is but for us it's near enough. We love the location for easy travel into Porto Pollentia or Alcudia both just a few minutes up the road. Love the layout of the hotel and accommodation set in beautiful gardens. Friendly staff, great Spa, food is good as is the accommodation. Adult only pool and restaurant if you want it a bit quieter. Centre for cycling and water sports. Will be back again next year!

Good value for money

Nice resort with a spacious layout. All inclusive option was very good value for money - the wine was better than expected and the food was normal buffet fare. The food at the pool side snack bar was of variable quality. We stayed in the most basic type of room which was fine - a bit dated but clean and a decent size. Resort lies between 2 towns, neither of which is walkable due to lack of pavement on the busy main road - there are plenty buses though. Also be aware that although the resort is beside the sea, there is no beach nearby.

Staff amazingly friendly, the airport shuttle is €18 per person each way but you can also get there by public transport which takes about an hour longer, for €11. The food is really good and includes gluten free and dairy free options so half board is worth it. Beautiful place!

No where to walk and no beach no shops it was on a main road and you needed to take a bus .You need to go all inclusive as was very expensive as they charge random prices for drinks no price list .
You need to take mosquito spray as these were visable in the day and unable to sit out at night .The food was very good and pools were great .
Also upgrade before you go as charge 20 euros per night not 15 euros as email stated from expedia .

Very family friendly but with adults only areas (pool/restaurant) too. Well positioned between Porto Pollensa and Alcudia so easy 10 min bus ride in each direction. Spa area is a wonderful haven with fantastic views across the bay. 3 room types to suit all budgets and options to upgrade. Considering the number of people staying, the resort was very quiet. Food good (especially breakfast) but glad we went B&B so we had the variety of going off site for dinner. All staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay again.

We loved this island and this hotel!!! We checked in quickly and were shown to our room. It was a quaint little room, nothing fancy. But it was clean and the bathroom was updated. The all-inclusive was an amazing deal! Free drinks and food! The food was amazing every single night! 5 stars! The drinks were really really good as well. The spa was amazing and quite fancy! The beach right off the resort is horrible, it is not okay for laying out or playing on the beach at all! You have to drive to a beach if you want to have beach time. But all the other beaches were crazy packed--so it was nice that this hotel was quiet. Also the hotel has a ton of mosquitos, so bring your bug spray! Everyone was walking around with huge bug bites! The only other thing was every morning people went out and put out their towels on the loungers around the pools and by 10am there were no loungers available!!! and no one was out swimming! Everyone just went out and claimed their spot and then left. It was super frustrating, but we drove to different beaches usually anyways.
Pros--Quiet location, AMAZING food!, nice resort
Cons--you have to drive to a beach, lots of mosquitos, no open lounge chairs at the pool

This was our 2nd visit to the resort and we were looking forward to the happy friendly staff we had 2 years ago. This year, most of them seemed stressed and overworked. The mosquitos this year were everywhere and biting in force.

Relaxing and fun family vacation!

I traveled here with my daughter on a last minute escape. We really enjoy it! Next time I would book directly they the website portbluehotels.com though because there are additional free benefits like late checkout.The staff was fabulous, extremely accommodating even arriving at 11pm, and they drove us to the room by golf cart. It was relaxing and quiet, with the spa and pool on site, and simple beach access. They had a live band play at night which was enjoyable, but not so late that it disturbed a good night’s rest. We had half board and the food was great, especially compared to the few meals we had off the resort. I was surprised how quiet and kid friendly the resort is. We walked past the adults only area which looked amazing, but we we’re too busy exploring the island. Only downside is the hotel is somewhat far from things to do, but we rented a car, and noticed a few families taking buses that stopped right in front of the hotel.

The staff have obviously been trained very well, especially when it comes to meeting, greeting and entertaining children. They were constantly smiling and helpful. The grounds are spotless and the amount of trees, plants, flowers was lovely and refreshing compared to many other resorts we looked at. The kitchen staff out did themselves and every meal time was a show of their skill. The variety was vast, almost overwhelming, and it all tasted delicious. We had a lovely stay and couldnt fault it. The only things we would offer as suggestions to improve our visit would be to provide a takeaway service for meal times, perhaps a cardboard lunchbox, as it would have been nice to eat on our veranda outside the room, especially if the baby is sleeping and you dont want to disturb. The other thing i would be really impressed by is if the shop had a second hand section or a place to rent beach and pool toys. The amount of plastic inflatables and balls that were left behind was crazy so it would be nice to rent them just for the holiday and return them afterwards at a lower cost to buying them and disgarding. Also the little clothes shop does smell super bad of cigarettes which stopped us buying anything but overall a great stay.

Resort itself it’s OK. Staff don’t care much about the guests. Even sometimes being rude or just ignoring you. During the dinner in Adults only restaurant you need to look around to find a waiter to order drinks. In some days spa didn’t have lockers so you need to care of your belongings during the spa. In the Gym is water dispenser and Jug with water with lemons but no cups. When I asked spa staff for cups they answered they don’t have and offered me to buy a bottle. So far after my holidays I feel not too exited. Not coming back...

Dated buildings with appalling smell of must in the bedrooms. Bedsheets were damp. Not enough restaurants available at the pool for snack lunches which result in 30 Minute queue. Staff are lovely. The hotel needs to repaint and freshen up the whole complex. I did not use the spa so I cannot comment. Bus to Alcudia and Porta Pollenca stops before 9 so one must take a taxi back if one wants to eat in either location. I suspect that the 4 star is awarded for the excellent food at buffet restaurant along with sport options offered.

Good layout of rooms in good surrounding.
The staff were very friendly but service was poor, clearing plates before finished, forgetting or late orders. Had to keep asking housekeeping to put items in our room which where included in package. Room air-con needed fixing (done quickly). Staff walking across guests in dining areas rather than showing curtesy to them.

Amazing swimming facilities (full size indoor and outdoor lane pools) in addition to a very large lagoon style pool and smaller heated pool. Spa with fabulous views. Two areas where there is an opportunity for improvement would be the cleanliness of the pool (small heated in particular) and the quality of the evening entertainment.

Probably the staff is the biggest asset of the hotel, everyone is very helpful and friendly.
The hotel is well allocated although you need some transport to move around. The rooms are big enough although a bit noisy.

The location is beautiful and the hotel facilities are wonderful. The best thing was the fantastic staff who were friendly, happy and efficient. Go all inclusive if you can as the food was excellent with all tastes accounted for. All in all a very happy and relaxing holiday. Will definitely be re-booking!

Sadly my last trip to the hotel

My 6th time here and the hotel is now skimping on the drinks & entertainment.
Bought a couple of cocktails at different bars and they were just kids slush puppies but with a price tag of over £7 each.
I tried to buy a full pint but they would only give me a glass that took just over a half pint even tho they had proper pint glasses and were charging for them.
In the end we stuck to wine at the hotel and drank anything else at Alcudia or Puerto Pollensa.
Entertainment by the animation team was just miming to songs and pretty poor.
The only good nights were the live piano player & guitar player and a proper singer on our last night.
