Disappointing

This hotel is rated as 4* but would suggest it felt more like 2/3. We’d spent time looking at reviews and feel the actual experience was not comparable.

To start with, the photos online are deceiving, hotel does seem quite dated in places, particularly the rooms which are very very small!! There’s very much surface level cleaning and our sheets were not changed the entire 5 night stay!

Food was also way worse than was expecting from reviews, super basic and we suspect actually gave 1 of us food poisoning!

There’s also a lot of literally turning your pockets inside out, charging for the use of the room safe and pool towels!

Pro side, staff are lovely, accommodating and the entertainment was good.

Perfectly adequate hotel in a good position for the main beach and harbour. Nice pool area and plenty of sunbeds; guests weren't reserving beds and not using them. We booked a pool view and asked for a top floor room but were given one on the 5th floor. We didn't complain about it. Breakfast was pretty good. Plenty of choice for all tastes. The cooked food let it down a little. Some days there were English pork sausages but not every day, mostly bratwurst or chorizo sausages. Bacon was always undercooked, not crispy enough and the scrambled egg overcooked. The omelettes were a bit hit and miss, depending who was cooking them. Some strange items like battered broccoli which I didn't see anyone touch! Check out is not until 11am and there were facilities for storing luggage and also use of a shower which was welcome. I would not call this hotel a 4 star. I don't expect to have to pay 19 Euros to access the room safe or pay for pool towels.

Good central location just a five minute walk to the beach. Bus stop right outside the hotel for airport drop off/pick up as well as direct link to Alcudia Old Town. Lots of food and drink options close to the hotel. Within walking distance of the marina for a night out.
Nightly entertainment programme (we stayed the last weekend of September) as well as day time games around the pool.

We really enjoyed our stay at Delfin Azul.
The hotel is well located, near the bus stop, the beach and 15 walk to the shopping area.
The staff of the hotel is excellent, everyone is kind and made us feel welcome. I highly recommend the half board because the food was exquisite, fresh and with a lot of choices. We never felt the need to go out for dinner.
The pool is nice and clean and it was never too crowded.
The animation program is nice and every evening there was a show or music to keep us entertained.
We will definitely come back!

Hotel was nice, in a good area that was close to the beach and bus stop (public transport was excellent!). Rooms are a little small and the aircon was almost non existent but staff are very friendly and the food we had was nice. Kids club was great, all the staff there were good with the kids and my child had lots of fun

Pro’s: comfy bed, good food at breakfast and dinner, clean, secure bike garage, good location.
Con’s: shower had slow drainage, poor double glazing so can hear everything outside on the streets, walls like cardboard so can hear everyone in corridor and sometimes neighbours.

Good enough for a cheap few nights away. If you’re a light sleeper request for a room on a higher floor in attempt to reduce outside noise from the streets.

Comfortable stay

Nice comfortable hotel - close to the beach with a nice pool.

It felt like you had to pay for every small thing extra, like a pool towel, safety box, etc., that would have been standard in hotels of this rank in other countries. This seems pretty common in Mallorca though. Staff not as helpful or knowledgeable compared to other hotels I stayed in Mallorca.

Really great value, would return

Really great value and would definitely recommend for those with a slightly lower budget but who are looking for a lot of bang for their buck.
I booked this holiday with my boyfriend for a 5 night stay and as we are students were looking for a cheap getaway that would be somewhere nice to stay, with a pool and near the beach, and this was exactly the place.
Pros:
- great pool with large bar and restaurant outside
- nice room, small but modern and tv with all UK channels
- rooms and hotel lobby were cleaned regularly and felt very Covid friendly!
- free breakfast which has a lot of great options and definitely one of the main perks!
- buffet in evening is good value if you are looking to stay and eat in the hotel one evening
- good entertainment - we only attended one magic show as we were convinced to come by the magician - but surprisingly really enjoyed this and think there is a lot for kids/families (including poolside and evening activities)
- lifeguard by the pool all day
- really friendly staff!
Cons
- pool shuts at 7pm, this didn’t really bother us but imagine for some people this is quite early
- we forgot towels and pool towels aren’t free, however for only €2 per day didn’t think this was too bad (but in most places I have stayed they are free)
- location is a little bit out of town, still only 5 mins from the beach, but about 20 min walk to centre of Port D’Alcudia where main restaurants are, and 40 min walk to Alcudia old town

Friendly hotel

Hotel was immaculately clean and all staff were really helpful and friendly. Ideally located and just a few minutes walk to the beach, with all other areas of Alcudia a gentle stroll away. Enabled a really relaxing holiday.

The hotel was the first day of opening after the coronavirus, we walked in off the street and they were unable to give us a price so we have to book online using hotel.com. checking took about 1 hour for a hotel that had only just opened has over 300 rooms and eventually no guests this was hard to believe.

Very Good Hotel

We stayed at the B Q Delfin Azure because our son was in the half Ironman. It is a lovely hotel and the staff were brilliant. We had a problem with the shower in our room and it was resolved very quickly. The food was very good and though we didn't use the pool, etc. we did enjoy our stay. We would definitely stay again.

One parent holiday

This was my first holiday with two of my children son 12 daughter 20 without their mother following seperation. The hotel is in a brilliant location, 5 mins stroll to the beach and 10 mins stroll to the bars and restaraunts in the evening.the staff are very freindly and helpful and hotel is kept spotless. the evening entertainment is fantastic and varied. the only complaint is that the rooms are a little on the small side when sharing with children, but, we didn't spend that much time in the room anyway.

The Nicest Staff EVER!

I participated in a triathlon race in Mallorca and had a bicycle crash on a rented bike. The staff was incredible! They were helpful working on the phone with various people to get the bike back, and even mailed some of my left behind items to my home in the States. Even before there were any problems with my trip, I was impressed by the competent and thoughtful employees though. They helped me locate things in the local area. They accomodated the racers with a special early breakfast before the race start. They consistently greeted their guests in a friendly manner, and never acted annoyed with continuous questions and requests from guests about the local area.The accomodations are basic and have some age, but clean and well-cared for. It is clearly being run well by excellent people. In a trip that largely did not go the way I hoped, they were a highlight and I hope you can reward them with lots of business.

Our stay at this hotel was unfortunately very disappointing. Right after arrival we had to change our first room due to mold. The new room seemed fine at first, until we later discovered a cockroach. The reception only provided us with a spray and we had to deal with it ourselves.

After removing the insect, we inspected the room more carefully and found droppings and eggs behind the curtains, as well as another cockroach. Around 1:30 a.m. we were finally given a new room, as it was absolutely unacceptable for us to stay there any longer.

The situation was extremely stressful and disgusting, and getting any rest was impossible. For a hotel claiming four stars, this is completely unacceptable. We cannot recommend this hotel.

Everything was really Good, clean room, Good beds and pillows, breakfast really Good, had everything you could wish for.
The poolarea was really nice, the bar at the pool was also very nice and serves Good snacks/lunch.
Lots of staff both at breakfast and in the snackbar that made everything comfortable and with Good service.
The entertainment in the eve, we were never there to watch it live, but it ends at 23-23.30 and was not disturbing at all.

Inte ett fyrstjärnigt hotell

Det här hotellet var helt OK. Däremot var det definitivt inte ett fyrstjärnigt hotell. När vi checkade in var våra lakan fläckiga, handduken hade ett hål, schampo och tvål flaskorna var nästintill tomma och rummen var otroligt lyhörda. Vi hörde andra gäster gå utanför och knacka på sin dörr. Efter cirka en vecka bad vi receptionen att byta lakan och att vi ville ha städ eftersom det missats en dag. Men våra lakan byttes aldrig under vår vistelse. Receptionen beter sig märkligt, kollar på oss på ett konstigt sätt. Kanske berodde det på osäkerhet och att de var nya i jobbet. Vi undvek därför att prata med de.
Frukosten var bra, däremot inget vatten. Hotellet tar betalt 20euro för att låna två handdukar. 2euro för att väga väskan. Vissa saker borde ingå i service, eller kosta mindre. Trots inte en så jättebra upplevelse som vi trott vill vi ändå rikta ett tack till personalen i baren och en manlig personal som underhöll under kvällarna.

Bra hotell med närhet till det mesta

Ett hotell som har nära till allt, ganska fräscht men ändå slitet här o var i rummet.. städningen var ok men kändes mest som att de bara bytte handdukar, bäddade och kastade soporna. Maten var ganska tråkig, smaklös men så kanske det är på de flesta familjehotell.. överlag ett okej hotell men åker jag dit igen kommer jag inte välja till middag.

El hotel en general està bien. Tanto las instalaciones como el hotel.
Como punto negativo es el horario de las cenas, que empiezan a las 18:00 hasta las 21:00h horario dedicado exclusivamente a los estranjeros cuando ibamos a las 20:30 ya habia muchas cosas agotadas que ya no reponian y a las 21:00 lo recogian todo.

Nydelig mat og barnevennlig hotell

Veldig fint hotell med nær beliggenhet til det meste i Alcudia. Lokalbuss fra Palma flyplass stopper rett utenfor hotellet. Kort gåavstand til strand og Port Alcudia. Fint basseng og lekeområde for barn. Helt nydelig frokost og middagsbuffet! Skikkelig kvalitetsmat og ikke junkfood. Veldig fornøyd med oppholdet:)

Die Unterkunft war sauber, jedoch erwartet man sich für diesen Preis und 4 Sterne etwas mehr. Jede einzelne zusätzliche Leistung (Schließkästen fürs Gepäck, Poolhandtücher, etc.) war ergänzend zu bezahlen.
Wir haben vor dem Eingang gemäß den schriftlich übermittelten Angaben auf unser Shuttle gewartet. Nachdem der Shuttle jedoch nicht da war, haben wir beim Empfang nochmals nachgefragt und wurden mit einer pampigen Antwort darauf hingewiesen, dass wir so abgeholt werden wie es da steht, beim „hotel entrance“. Dem war nicht so, dank aufmerksamer Hotelgäste wurden wir hingewiesen, dass an der Hauptstraße ein Bus wartet und dies womöglich unserer sein könnte.

Bedden zijn slecht, personeel is niet altijd vriendelijk, airco werkt slecht en de WiFi idem. Ontbijt was wel goed. Voordeel van dit hotel is dat het dicht bij het strand ligt en dat is fijn. Persoonlijk zou ik dit hotel niet aanbevelen.
