Easy stay at these well appointed apartments. The staff answered questions and sorted issues quickly via email. Useful to have the kitchen and washing machine and the kids liked having their own rooms.
We loved staying on Giudecca and getting the vaporetto to wander Venice, but when we fancied staying closer to home there were good local restaurants nearby to the apartments and the coop was useful and only a few minutes walk.

Wonderful! The location in Giudecca is perfect - less than 4 min (and no stairs/bridges) to the Redentore vaporetto stop, which serves lines 2, 4.1 and 4.2, making for an incredibly easy trip to San Giorgio Maggiore, San Marco or Murano or from the train or bus stations.

The apartment is modern, perfectly furnished and with everything you need in the kitchen. I loved the fragrance of the toiletries and the view of the canal!

It's also nice to be offered the option to store your bags free of charge at the main location next to the Rialto bridge at the end of your stay (super convenient for the boat to the airport or heading back to the train or bus stations).

I guess only complaint would be to be offered more tea/coffee capsules, as those were only supplied at the beginning of the stay, with a note that they won't be refilled.

Hotel room was very large and made for a great space to accommodate our family, however there were a few things that needed to be improved if this is to actually be a Luxury hotel. Lighting was poor, very very high humidity with any AC running, we had to turn it all off at night to sleep comfortably. there wasn’t much in the way of luxury with the amenities. 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms was nice to have but the one room had a pull out couch not an actual bed and in the “master” bedroom it was not a King Size bed as indicated on the ad it was 2 x twin beds pushed together, which did not make for the best evening sleep. Location was good island was peaceful and a great jumping off point. Large space if you’re traveling with a large group or family but I wouldn’t stay again.

We had a great stay. The room was clean, everything worked as it should. Felt right at home. The view from our room was spectacular. The staff responded quickly to even the smallest of needs. There are a few markets, and several cafes and restaurants in easy walking distance. Loved our time here!

Great property enjoyed our stay - would come back

Pros: super property - everything inside the property was brilliant.
Charming island away from crowds - experience local Venetian life - less touristy.

Cons: As no guest services on site they ask for passport details and credit cards via email in advance which isn't safe security practice (they need to find a safe way to improve this)
Expensive ferry to island from main town
Limited dining options on island compared to main town.

Absolutely loved this place and would absolutely stay here again should we travel back to Venice & surrounding. It was so nice to get away from the business and have this nice & quiet repreive. The apartment was lovely- clean, quiet and spacious. The only thing that would've been nice would have been to have a sofa or a couple of chairs in the living area, along with the dining table, since we were a family of four. That is simply a suggestion and in no way would hinder us from staying here again. We absolutely loved it and the process from check-in to check -out was seamless! Thank you, Al Redentore!

The apartment is wonderful. Clean and comfortable. There are lots of restaurants along the waterway. Know before you go, this is not on the main part of Venice, but across the lagoon. There is no way to walk there. Water taxi from train station or airport is available for a price.

My family loved our stay here. It was quiet and comfortable. The apartment was spacious and had 2 bathrooms and 2 nicely decorated bedrooms. Also provided was a bottle of still water and a bottle of carbonated water. The ceilings are a bit low so might be a problem if you are tall. There is also a small washing machine in the apartment with a drying rack which was very helpful. I didn't feel comfortable emailing a photo of my credit card so they sent me a link for online payment. The openow app for door entry was easy to use. The location is only a few minutes walk from between Redentore and Palanca vaporetto stations, and vaporetto #4.1/4.2 and #2 run every 12 minutes or so. You can't really get to the main city any other way so definitely get a pass. Check the tide forecast, we arrived at high tide and sidewalks were flooded. There is a small grocery store just a few steps away, a bakery, and several very good restaurants.

Very smart modern loft apartment with a view of the canal, only a few minutes walk from the boat stops with connections around the city. Well equipped for self-catering and plenty of room to divide a working area from the sleeping space if like me you were travelling for work.

We were very happy to be on the island of Giudecca. It is much quieter than \"crazy\" Venice but still had nice places to eat. Once we figured out the vaporettos it was easy to get over to the main island. LOVED our view of the canal!

It’s a scam; stay away

Not clean on arrival; then bathroom flooded which wasn’t sorted for 2 days. Multiple emails exchanged; the chap at the other end was beyond rude.
Information at time of booking was misleading. It’s not a luxury apartment.
Poor location; just stay elsewhere.
Not worth complaining to hotels.com as the customer means nothing to them; they are just a broker.

Nice and quiet location on a little island across from Venice. We actually prefer this island location, far from the much more touristy areas and has much fresher air. Comfortable beds and clean rooms.

Definitely enjoyed the freedom of cooking ourselves. Grocery store (Prix) nearby where you can buy very reasonably priced local veggies/pasta/fruits/desserts/drinks and whip up a decent 3-course meal in the apartment rather quickly.

Ferry to the main Venice island is fairly convenient with frequent boats but can get pricey if you buy one way tickets (7.5 euros per ride). If you are to take more than 2 rides per day, you want to get multi-day passes (20 euros for one day pass, 30 euros for a two day pass, etc). They are available at ticket booths or ticketing machines.

Our apartment was on the ground floor with no view of the water. The apartment was large and had two bed rooms, bathroom, shower room, kitchen and living room. The apartment was clean and tidy and had a coffee machine, microwave, fridge, freezer, cooker and utensils. The shower and bath needed the silicone replaced. The apartment was warm, quiet and nice place to relax. There was a hidden charge of 40 Euro for cleaning and 2 Euro per person per night city tax which was only discovered following our booking. The apartment does not have staff present at reception therefore they requested credit card and passport details over the phone. We decided to check in at their sister hotel (Hotel Nani Mocenigo Palace @ Fondamenta Nani Dorsoduro and received a complimentary drink on arrival. The staff were very nice and helpful. The staff provided my wife with help and support accessing the boat a few hundred yards from the hotel as she uses a wheelchair. This island is an excellent place to stay as you can simply jump on a boat bus anywhere in Venice and get dropped off just around the corner of the apartment. There is a boat every 10 minutes either going to other islands or directly across to Zattere or San Marco and P Roma. I would recommend this apartment to friends and family.

The island has a small supermarket which is not particularly clean but does provide for essentials. There is a few restaurants on the island but avoid Ristorante Al Redentore as the food is poor and cold.

What a gem!

What a gem! Great apartment just across from Venice. 1 or 2 water taxi stops depending on which one you get off of. There are restaurants, little shops and even a couple little galleries on the island. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of Venice and enjoy a smaller neighborhood feel. The main hotel staff were super helpful and attentive to us and helped us with anything we needed. 5 stars all around!!

The apartment was Excellent! Totally exceeded our expectations. It was located between the Palenco and Redentore water bus stop. The apartment was spacious and had all the hotel amenities a vacationer would need. The sight from the windows were amazing. The rooms where spacious, toiletries included, great temperature control, full kitchen with coffee pods, sugar, Nutella packets and crackers. Bathrooms were amazing and spacious. It is located across the canal from San Marco, so you get the beauty of Venice with beautiful churches and restaurants but without the crowd of tourist. Taking the water bus ‘vaporetto’, was easy, take the 2 water bus. Make sure you buy the day passes.

The apartment communication was a bit confusing. You must contact the property in advance in order to get the check-in information. We didn’t want to provide our passport or credit card number via email so we checked in at their sister hotel Mani Palace hotel. This hotel was beautiful (must have the gelato next door). The friendly receptionist checked us in and gave us the codes to the apartment. The apartment entrance is all code based, so you enter a code at the main door and then to the apartment room. Everyone spoke English so it was easy to communicate.

I travelled here with my husband and 12yr old for 1 day since we were doing a European excusion and would definitely do it again for more time. Venice is magnificently beautiful!

Wonderful quiet apartment

The stay was incredible!!! Quiet area right on the canal. Ice cold ac. Very large 2 bdrm apartment. If you’ve never been to Venice you should know that it is not on a spot with a lot of historical stuff. You need to get a ferry pass so that you can get from island to island. Would stay here again and wished we could have stayed a few more days. You will not be disappointed.

Check in process was tedious. Check in process was not communicated clearly until following up. Also they require passport copies and credit card details emailed to then in email to get checking code. Other option was to go to a different hotel and use their check in facility which is far away from this property. Those who comes first time, all these process will be bit tedious.

Also there were no cleaning service or linen replacements during the course of our stay, which seemed bit unusual.

A very nice apartment in quiet area on Giudecca

Great and comfortable apartment. Very well furnished, spotlessly clean and well managed. Would happily recommend it to any of my family or friends. Absolutely delighted with our choice. Only point of note is you have to use a boat ride to get to the main islands (which are very regular) as there is no bridge connection.

Only 2 grumbles. (Hence normal smile for service score)

In welcome mail they give you a code opening the front door. What they don’t say is yo need to press the R button first, then the number then press the bell button otherwise it will not work. They could do with adding the full instruction to the welcome mail

Supplies issued at the start of stay were great but were used after a few days with no replenishment. I think stays over 3 days should have a second supply of the basics like shower gel etc and Nespresso pods/tea bags.

This property is absolutely amazing!

I recommend this value for money apartment especially for families with kids. Its absolutely HUGE,you could probably get another few beds in the spaces it provides. Beautifully decorated, a massive comfy bed in the main bedroom, large pull out in the 2nd bedroom, 2 large , modern/clean bathrooms, 2 showers 1 bath. The kitchen is great, microwave, large fridge freezer, hob, loads of pots and pans/crockery, kettle, dishwasher, washing machine in the 2nd bathroom. I brought my own dishwasher tablets and washing up liquid sachets, but they were actually provided, plenty of complimentary toiletries & condiments. Huge living area space, sofa & big table and chairs, and a stunning view over the canal to Venice to watch the boats (and ginormous cruise ships!) go by. The whole building is grande, spotlessly clean, very secure and safe, well maintained and luxurious. No visable staff during our stay but this caused no issues. Check in was instant via the telephone provided on the desk, access is gained via a code provided (but be aware you have to enter it very very quickly on the door panel or it resets without letting you know... We thought we were locked out a few times at night before we upped the speed a bit!). Giudecca is stunning, very quiet & quaint & nice to return to such tranquility after a busy day on Venice. 2 vaporetto stops close by & a brilliant Coop supermarket... We bought essentials for very little cost, and travelled everywhere by water bus (9 min approx to Venice)

The inside is quite nice, though you would never guess it from the outside! The email communications asked for some documents to be sent by email that I was unwilling to send that way, so then I was told I would need to go to some other hotel on the other side of the water to show my passport, which would have been inconvenient, but in the end they just left me a key in the reception area and I showed them my passport the next day and that was fine.

We bought the 2 day pass for passage back and forth- worked out well. Quiet area, comfy beds. All you could ask for on vacation!

No out of hours contact locked out the the apartment because the code machine on the front door didn’t work at 11pm at night so had to stay at a different hotel at a cost of £226, terrible customer service not offer of a refund. How you allow place like this on your website is terrible I will be sending a full complaint in the coming days

Staying on Giudecca was a great choice, able to get away from the tourist crowds. Apartment warm clean & well stocked. Being able to go to the local Coop and shop and cook saved money on food - Venice can be expensive to eat out. The room was amazing, we had a view from the kitchen of the canal. The reception staff were very helpful with Vap transfers and suggested many local haunts and places to get wine and bites. Highly recommended 10/10.

Family of 4 with grown teenagers staying 2 nights. I actually changed an earlier booking to this place and I am really happy about it. We had excellent facilities. 2 King beds. A kitchen and dining area. Very close to food shopping or restaurant if preferred. So easy to ferry accross to St Mark's Square with boats every 12 minutes. My wife and I hadn't been to Venice for just over 20 years and were so amazed at how much better it was now for a tourist. So many great value restaurants. Excellent food and no service charge.I recall that when we came previously we couldn't afford to actually sit down in a restaurant. The kids loved it and we had great whether for late December. Highly recommend this place .

Finished off. The member of staff was pleasant. However, there a few things you need to be aware of. The location is on the island Guadecca which means there is added expenses of travelling there and back via the vaporettos. However these are regular. Another point you need to bare in mind is the added cost for laundry and cleaning which is additional. That, along with transport costs offset the slightly lower costs of the apartments as opposed to staying on the main island.

The apartment was absolutely gorgeous. It was extremely spacious and luxurious with absolutely everything you could possibly need. 5 star accomodation that I would definitely recommend to others. View of canal from three Windows was incredible. Having a kitchen, table and lounge area meant you felt at home and not just staying in a hotel room. We loved being on Giudecca, just a short boat trip across to St Marks..we never actually waited more than two minutes for a ferry, an amazing service. There was a super supermarket almost next door and a restaurant right on the water front. We also walked ten minutes to Molino Stucky the Hilton hotel which had a great skyline roof top bar, well worth a drink for great views. We would definitely stay the again. Great communication before the trip and whilst staying there. We saw Venice at its best and worst over the last few days as it suffered the most horrendous high tides, yet the locals were incredible throughout. A memorable visit.

That is a perfect place in all aspects!!!
First of all location is great, it is not in the centre, there is no terrible smell from the water like in the centre, from the window is perfect view of the sea. The room is very big 50 m and all is clean and new. Only 2 stops by public sea transport from central square San Marco. And the price 2 times cheaper than in the hotels in the centre. Strongly reccomend to everybody!!!

This place was magnificent. It’s beautiful and close to a ferry to get over to Venice. We loved our stay here. The only negative I have about this place is the cleaning fee of €40 you pay for cleaning when you arrive. It seems a little much, but my wife and I are pretty clean. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. If you have a family it’s a great places as well!

The apartment was wonderful. Huge, light, well equipped, appealing, comfortable. The only problem was the check-in. This process needs to be made clearer on the Expedia site and by the facility. The supposed email send to me after I left for Venice could not arrive in time to instruct me about how to gain access. But even that email was not sent, in spite of their insistence that it was. We managed to get the key only because someone in another apartment heard us knocking loudly.

Amazing Place. Our best Hotel in Italy!

This is a bit out of the way of the main square. However, the water bus stop is very close. Just buy a waterbus (40 Euros for 3 days) pass for the days you are there and it is very easy to get wherever you want. This place is worth it. Very roomy, comfy bed (hard to find in Italy), in good repair, and clean. We loved our stay here.

This apartment was fantastic! We loved how elegant and clean it felt. We stayed in the Classic apartment and couldn’t have been happier. The island of Giudecca is, as everyone said, is quiet and a nice reprieve from a busy day on San Marco. It’s an easy ride from the train station on water bus 4.1, which will drop you off at Redentore and the apartments are a very short walk from there, right by the water.

We will definitely be coming back to Venice and booking this apartment again!

This is everything we hoped for and more! It’s right across San Marco, away from the daily barrage of tourists. It’s quiet, it’s personal, everything Venice should be! The apartments themselves exceeds all expectations. It’s right by the water, a walk away from 2 boat docks and the inside is stunning. It’s huge, it’s pretty, it’s Uber clean! Most of all the front desk employees were super nice!

Excellent location and stafff. Beautiful views and easy access from the water taxi stop.
The noise level from the apt. Upstairs was high. Maybe they can add padding to floor because kids running upstairs made it difficult to sleep. Also they do not do airport pick up as advertised in their ad ☹️ Which was one of the main reasons I chose to stay there

This place was great. New and modern apartment that was spacious and well appointed. My family found it to be excellent.
Was a little concerned with the location beforehand but you will appreciate the quiet neighborhood after fighting the Venice crowds during the day. Pretty quick and painless to get over to the main island. Some decent dining options walkable too. Will be back.

This lovely apartment made a great base for our three night stay. We really enjoyed getting the vaporetto over to the mainland and always found Giudecca a haven of peace when we got back. The staff were friendly and helpful and we will definitely stay again, next time we are in Venice

Old world chic and modern sleek

This place is beautiful. Location is quiet and away from busy tourist crowds. It is across the “lagoon” in Guidecca. You need to take ferry to San Marco area so if you’re not planning on staying in that area all day, it might be better to buy day ferry pass. There are several small restaurants right along the water and a short walk away along with a market and laundry place. Our residence #204 had small washer/dryer in kitchen but I know not all have one. It was spacious with kitchen/ dining area 2.5 rooms , 1 master, pull out sofa and half room had a twin bed. Service was awesome and very personal. Because it’s not a typical “hotel” no lobby open 24/7. Would definitely stay there again.

Spacious apartment on Giudecca island, just 3 ferry stops from San Marco piazza and Lido island. Quiet location next to a canal and near waterfront restaurants. Also close to a local supermarket with local prices. Friendly, helpful staff with good English. Two big bedrooms, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and dining area.

this is unquestionably the best value in Venice. a direct water taxi ride to.from airport/train station, across the \"street\" from St Mark's square, a grocery store within 100 yds, and lovely uncrowded restaurants with 2 min walk. Fantastic stay (second time we have stayed there)

Only I have one word. Excellent!!!! The hotel was amazing. My first impression from outside was OMG where me are we, then when I open the door the reception is beautiful and the room was incredible. If I return to Venecia with out doubt I will choose this hotel. 😀😀😀😀😃😃

Perfect if you don’t mind taking a vaporetto

Very nice apartment, very clean, Giulia is nice and polite. It takes some time and money to get from the hotel to St. Mark Square with a water taxi (vaporetto). But the place is nice, the neighborhood is quiet and the scenery is beautiful!

This is the most amazing find I have ever had. Incredible apartment for the money.
Great location, just a 10 min water taxi ride.
Across the water from the hustle and bustle of Venice, the view from here was Venice. Don’t be put off by the location, unless you are right in the heart of Venice, you are either getting a water Taxi, or a ton of walking anyway. I can’t speak highly enough of this place, absolutely perfect for my family.

The apartment is nice and clean even though it is not in the central and main island. You have to take water bus to go to the apartment. The receptionist is very rude and make you feel not welcome at all. She is not that helpful either. I will never go back.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

We have never been to Venice before and the apartments had great reviews so we booked. When we got there they exceeded our expectations. Full of everything we could need, comfy beds, lots of space, great views.
Very easy to find and a great location - local restaurants were good and not too pricey.
Cannot recommend enough - if you are going to Venice then a stay at Al Redentore apartments is a must
