The only thing that lets this hotel down is the dinner on an evening - vegetarians are left with salad or stodgy veg, no distinguishing main available and taste is very much towards German guests and each night was very much the same.

We did have a problem with leaking air conditioning and was told at reception it was condensation I refused to accept this as normality as it had a safety issue when entering the room and pools of water on tiles made it dangerous underfoot, after 4 attempts over 30 hrs from maintenance it got resolved we did receive a credit back to the room when I asked due to the fault and the inability to sleep because of the dripping. The other room booked was fine with no issues and located next door.

The proximity to the bus to Palma, beach access on the doorstep and a few places to have a drink is excellent

One improvement the hotel could make is the step that leads to the beach the ones inside the hotel perimeters slope forward and have nothing to hold onto making it difficult for elderly guests or anyone with mobility problems

Overall I would stay here again but only on B&B so there is a change up in food options.

Excellent hotel with best position on the best beach in Mallorca. Fourth visit and will definitely return. Last visited in 2022, would say that hotel is better in almost every area. Dining room is cooler, aircon in rooms better, food better, and staff at reception, restaurant and cleaning couldn’t have been more helpful. New sunbeds on the perfect lawn with pine trees in front of the hotel that leads down about 3 steps to the wonderful Playa de Muro beach. Booked bed and breakfast but paid the €20 each for the evening meal on five occasions which was great value. The freshly cooked fish was particularly good and there is an excellent steakhouse just across the road which we visited a couple of times. If I was to make one recommendation for improvement (and this is probably more personal coming from Northern Ireland) it would be that the buffet could include more vegetable and potato options that weren’t cooked or served in oil. I think oil is just normal with most hotels in Mallorca - but the first time I came to Hotel Los Principes every night there was available boiled and peeled parsley potatoes which made it like a home from home. Nevertheless the homemade chips were perfect and the vegetables were plentiful and delicious along with a vast range of salads. I am certain that if I had mentioned the parsley potatoes the hotel would have provided these - but not being a half board guest I felt mentioning would have been inappropriate. I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Although dated, the property is quiet and incredibly well maintained. The common areas are comfortable annd clean. Access to a great beach is just outside the gate. The staff are very friendly and able to communicate in multiple languages. The dining options are plentiful and better quality than equivalent properties in its class. The property also has a great location that makes it very easy to navigate using public transportation (all while being able to catch a seat).

My partner and I would both do again and recommend.

Our second time staying at this hotel. It is truly remarkable! The staff are beyond doubt amazing! The rooms are spotless and modern. Evening entertainment is of a high standard and there is a Heurzeler cycle rental shop next to the hotel.

Terrible! Very rude front desk staff especially female staffers who visibly enjoyed upsetting guests. Hotel manager is very arrogant and rude man as well and should not be in supervisory position. We reserved room with living room, sea view and requested high floor. When we arrived we were given accommodation outside of main building with very steep stairs without rails which is not safe for anybody. My wife has difficulty climbing stairs due to balance issues and needs to use elevator. When we made a reservation it was not clear that accommodation we reserved will be outside of main building. After very prolong exchange with front desk staff we finally got room on the 2nd floor of the main building facing parking lot. We paid a lot of money for a sea view, so next day we inquired if we can get sea view room. The front desk female staffer told us that we are “lucky” that we got parking lot view room and this is the best they can do for us. No apogees or discount offered instead they told us that we can go to different hotel if we are not happy. Additionally, hotel is very dated, there is a terrible smell in the lobby, the breakfast was awful. There is no parking that belongs to the hotel just a street parking. The A/C in the room was not working well, beds were hard and uncomfortable. The door between bedroom and living room was difficult to open. We absolutely agree with other reviews. This is not 4* star hotel and not 4* service. Not even 1*. Very bad experience!

This is a little gem of a hotel set in the most amazing area in Playa de Muro.
Everything about this place is easy.
Right on the amazing beach with everything you need in a short walk.
We stayed in an apartment which had everything we needed for self catering which we loved.
Would highly recommend for families looking for a chilled holiday with no rules

Overall a nice and well placed hotel. The balcony was really nice as was the shower and bed. The buffet breakfast and dinner was really good with a nice choice of options. The dessert cakes weren't that great but the choice of fruit and ice cream made up for it.

It does lack even basic room services as we couldn't even get drinks to our room. The air conditioning was lacking as well.

This hotel was built in the 70’s and is in dire need of a complete refurbishment or possibly demolition. I found the place thoroughly depressing. Very dated. Dining room was dark and stuffy, no ventilation. We paid for bed and breakfast. The breakfast was awful. Machine coffee and concentrated juices, not freshly squeezed. Cold food on the buffet. Hot food sitting under heat lamps coagulated. Saw a few cockroaches which had been killed and swept away in corners. I paid a lot of money for a sea view but when I arrived my view overlooked a flat roof so had to pay 30 euros extra a night. Room good size but no luxuries, no shampoo or conditioner or even water to drink. That is pretty basic to me. Staff were helpful and friendly. Common areas tired. Entertainment in the night was horrific, tribute bands blasting away until 10.30pm. Not an issue for me as my room was on opposite of hotel but other family members who had rooms above suffered and had to ring up reception a few times because this was keeping up their young children. Visited spa but sauna and steam room not working. Hotel shows a great picture of being on the beach with beds, but you have to pay extra for beds and umbrella so very misleading . Best thing about hotel was the bike shop at the front - which was convenient. Went to catch bus on a few occasions to Alcúdia but buses were full so had to walk , so location was not convenient. Would not recommend or revisit hotel or location.

Fiasco! Staff wondering into my without asking, AC issue took five hours to get maintenance to come and fix it, manager of the dinning room needs a slapping (rude and arrogant), and the worst issue? I went for a walk at 7:30am. When I returned my room had been cleaned, including disposing of my stuff! Luckily I had loaded my cases into my car earlier but a hat, tooth brush and paste and antiperspirant etc all thrown away. Spoke to the manger about all this who was as shocked as me, but I’m still waiting (four days later) for an explanation! Oh, and his email (on his business card) didn’t work! Fiasco.

I am handicapped and there is no parking for this hotel. On arrival I asked about parking and they said, \"Good Luck\"
I found a spot two blocks from the hotel and limped back to the hotel.
Asked why our room safe wasn't working.
You must pay a daily fee for that privilege.
We were on our wedding anniversary and the rooms all have horrible twin beds to be moved together to make a Spanish King bed. It does not work!
Very negative experience.
This is the first bad review I've ever written.
Don't go here!

Hotel communal areas are outdated, outside space not looked after at all, no plants, old furniture, generally zero relaxing vibe. Outside toilets absolutely revolting. Most of the staff extremely miserable and unhappy, lacking information about hotel basics. Strongest point is the food, congratulations to the chefs. The only person always with a smile and impeccable customer service was Birhinia - hot section chef.

I'll start with the good news, the lovely lady at check in upgraded us to a suite, which was very much appreciated! She was great. We went down for our first breakfast the next morning, which was included in our stay and things went downhill. We walked into the restaurant, looked around, there was no one to seat us, but also no sign saying \"wait to be seated\", so we walked in and sat ourselves. We chose a table that was freshly set with no sign that is was already taken. We went and got food and coffee and started eating. Then a woman walked up, looking very annoyed and started talking to us. She spoke German, we did not. Eventually a man came over and informed us that we were at her table. We tried to explain that we didn't know that is was taken, no sign or person at the door...he spoke over us and told us we needed to wait to be seated and that he is always at the doors to greet/seat people and then walked away. He was quite rude, didn't give us a moment to explain or apologize for the misunderstanding. Seems to be an issue though, we stayed 3 nights, and every morning we watched similar things happen with people seating themselves. A sign at the door would be super helpful! We only had breakfast there, and it was just okay, nothing great.
Also the lobby always has a bad smell.

Hotel fab location, nice rooms but I found the male staff rude on several occasions! So definitely not 4* service.
Not even 1* the way they spoke to me and dealt with me, so for that reason I would not return with my custom.

If the male staff wasn't so rude, I probably would have booked there again but for this reason I will select another hotel.(Female solo traveller)

The duration of the trip to the hotel from the airport is approximately 40-50 minutes, which is very convenient. There are many shops, cafes, mini markets nearby. The territory of the hotel is not large, but very cozy, it is located on the first line, that is, right on the beach. The beach has white sand without stones, and turquoise water of unprecedented purity. The rooms are spacious and have everything you need. What surprised me was that there was no drinking water in the room. That is, you have to buy water at the bar, but there is a store nearby and we bought water there. Food - breakfasts and dinners which were second to none. A huge selection, different meats, a large selection of cheeses, pastries, cakes and pancakes, fruits, everything was super tasty! Very pleasant service, the staff is very friendly, our vacation was incredible, for which we thank the hotel staff very much!

This hotel is situated on a reasonably busy but still lovely beach. The pools have lots of shade for those that do not want to get too much sun. This is an ideal location for cycle hire of every description. The facilities at the hotel are excellent and it is close to many restaurants and bars but is still a peaceful retreat.

The room was clean and well appointed with a lovely bathroom. The lobby and grounds were also clean and comfortable. The location could not be beat for one of the most spectacular sunrises I have ever witnessed. Just steps from the lobby offered a sweeping view that was absolutely breathtaking.

Unfortunately the night desk staff were irritable and unfriendly upon arrival. I was not made to feel welcome at all and instead was treated as a nuisance for a late and last-minute arrival. Even the staff in the morning were not terribly friendly, nor welcoming as I left.

Perfect location for getting a breeze in very hot weather, lovely part shade, part sunny garden right up to beach in front of hotel. Staff, especially reception most helpful. Rooms and buffet good. Hard to fault, the only slightly annoying thing is they only allow you to change beach/pool towels 3 times a week - but this wouldn’t put me off returning. A tremendous value 4 star hotel.

By the beach 🏖️

Booked in the last days before traveling, so the price was higher than what I got. But in general it is very well located just opposite of the beach you can use the sunbeds in the garden for free. Sunbeds by the beach belong to the city so you will need to pay for them. breakfast was fine, they can improve the quality of juices and coffee. There is a nice Spa that includes a sauna and a steam room. Staff is friendly in general. Except one time when I asked if a late check out is possible, the reception lady answered it is possible until 6pm but it would cost extra 15 Eur. I asked if it can be for free as it would be for two hours, she replied in a judgmental way that cost only 15 Eur, I felt uncomfortable as she was raising this and involving other guests to share her opinion, it was not professional in my humble opinion.

It was an OK hotel - not 4-star. Rooms are ok, but the towels provided are very old / low quality, beach towels changed every 3-4 days. Breakfast has a big variety but not good quality. The building and reception area look quite old and the hotel area in general is not nice - looks very unorganised. The beach and sunbeds on the grass are nice. Also, there is a bad smell in the building from sewage which comes and goes, same in the rooms. Cutlery is not washed properly either.

The reception area and restaurant looked and smelled very tired, but the rooms were modern and clean. There was free access to the spa facilities which was a plus. The food was better than normal buffet style dinners but they have an outdated dress code where men have to wear trousers. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the location was excellent.

Very nice staff, the food is great. Beds were pretty hard. Location is perfect, directly at the beautiful beach (sand).
Facilities start to show their age, though that‘s the only not so good point here. Price/performance ratio is top!

Nice 4-star hotel on the beach

Great location, right at the beach in an area that is sandy but not too busy. Good places around for ice cream, drinks, bikes, etc. Decent, but a bit kitch, entertainment at night. Good food at the buffets and changes around so do not get bored of the same old. Hotel does get busy as has large German tour groups visiting. So although the service is good, you have to wait a bit sometimes.

Nice hotel on the beach

Nice resort with lots of activities offered (didn't try any of them so can't rate them). The hotel is right on the beach but the beach is public and while the lawn chairs look to be the same as the resort, they are owned separately and you have to pay to use them. Lots of shops and places to eat within walking distance.

Die Anlage wirkt grundsätzlich sehr gepflegt. Das Appartment war sauber. Allerdings war es im Apartment kalt ohne Ende. Die Klimaanlage hatte theoretisch eine Heizfunktion, die aber auch nicht funktionierte. Auch der Safe war defekt. Ja, natürlich hätten wir das alles bei der Rezeption monieren können, dann hätten wir umziehen müssen, wieder Koffer schleppen (Appartements ohne Aufzug) usw. Sorry, bei 4 Sternen erwarte ich einfach, dass Grundfunktionen vor jeder Vermietung kurz geprüft werden und ich mich als Gast mit sowas nicht beschäftigen muss. Deshalb nur 3 Sterne.

Schreckliches Apartment

Enttäuschender Start – keine 4 Sterne wert
Wir haben ein Apartment in einem 4-Sterne-Hotel auf Mallorca gebucht, extra mit separatem Schlafzimmer, damit unser 1,5-jähriger Sohn ungestört schlafen kann. Schon beim Check-in wurden wir unfreundlich und genervt empfangen – keine Begrüßung, kein Lächeln. Wir kamen um 20:44 Uhr nach einem langen Reisetag an, Abendessen war bis 20:30 – es gab nicht mal ein Stück Obst oder Wasser für uns.
Das Apartment war alt, muffig und unhygienisch. Der Küchenboden war nass, weil der Kühlschrank abgetaut wurde. Als ich die Rezeption abends anrief, wurde ich abgewimmelt – die Rezeptionistin meinte, sie sei allein und das werde „morgen“ erledigt. In der Nacht ist mein Sohn auf dem nassen Boden ausgerutscht und auf den Kopf gefallen – absolut fahrlässig.
Die Dusche war dreckig und rostig, das Kinderbett kaputt, der Boden so schmutzig, dass wir am nächsten Morgen schwarze Füße hatten. Nach Beschwerde bekamen wir ein kleineres Doppelzimmer ohne Rückerstattung der 400 € Preisunterschied. Wieder null Verständnis an der Rezeption.
Fazit: Keine Hilfe, kein Service, keine Sauberkeit – dieses Hotel hat mit 4 Sternen rein gar nichts zu tun.

Unfreundlicher Empfang bei Ankunft am späteren Abend. Kein Essen mehr, da wir zu spät ankamen. Kein alternatives Angebot.
Apartment meiner Tochter war nass, da der Kühlschrank ausgelaufen war und notfallmässig mit Badetücher abgedeckt wurde. Es roch schimmlig. Wechsel des Zimmers am nächsten Tag war ok.
Keine Rückerstattung von € 400 für das doch eher kleine Doppelzimmer für 1 Person und den 1 1/2 jährigen Sohn.
Putzequipe und Personen die sich um Umgebungsarbeiten kümmerten, war sehr gut. Essen abwechslungsreich, Personal freundlich

das Buffet war reichlich und gut.der Spa Bereich gut,Sauna und Dampfbad etwas in die jahre gekommen.
Wir hatten im Bad fast kein Wasser mehr,wurde nachdem wir es gemolden haben sofort erledigt.Reinigung täglich,okey.
Personal schien bereits etwas müde zu sein gegen Ende Saison.Nicht immer gleich freundlich.Aber auf Anfragen auch bemüht.

Struttura curata bene, posizione ottima, spa e piscina sono belle alternative al mare. Il servizio ristoro molto positivo. Le camere sono curate con qualche piccola disattenzione ma trascurabile. L'hotel non dava dei bracciali di riconoscimento e non aveva recinzioni, per questo non dá la sensazione di essere sicuri ma non ci sono stati problemi e nel pomeriggio passava sempre una persona della security

NOT WORTH THE MONEY (Mold, very rude employees)

I’ve had a really high hopes for this hotel. However, as soon as we’ve arrived in the hotel room, a huge mold in the bathroom ceiling welcomed us. We’ve talked to the receptionist and asked if we could change to another suit, the receptionist surprisingly said “mold is common in Mallorca since it’s very humid. I’ll send someone to clean it”.. Like, what the heck? not a mold expert but pretty sure what’s causing the mold is from the other side of the ceiling meaning, the ceiling has been exposed to water for a long time! We’ve tried many times and asked if we could change room, but failed. The person who cleaned the bathroom used a mop to remove the visible mold.

The dinner part also made me felt incredibly disappointed. FIRST: Saw a cockroach crawling on the food, a lot of other guests saw it too..after telling the chef the personel quickly removed the cockroach but not the food it crawled into.
SECOND: One chef who was grilling the chicken was using the same thong for the raw chicken and cooked chicken when serving the guest. I’ve informed the chef that using the same thong for raw and cooked chicken can cause cross contamination to the food.(this made the chef mad and argued that it was ok to do so). The next day he was being rude and could see/hear him talking to the other chef pointing at me(he did not know I speak spanish btw).

Lo mas positivo, su situación, tan próxima a la preciosa playa. La colocación de muchas hamacas sobre la hierba, mirando hacia el mar, es ideal. El spa, pequeño, pero muy completo. El buffet, tanto para desayuno, como para cena, muy variado, y bueno. La habitación, cómoda y limpia, con una excelente ducha. El personal, muy atentos y simpáticos.

We liked the Sea view from the balcony. The full Moon helped! Room clean and quiet. Shows with differenti music every late evening. They finished early in the night. The beach was a little crowded so we stay there only two times and we visit other beaches: Mesquida, Es Trenc, Formentor. Breakfast very good. We had a very nice stay.

I had an amazing stay at Grupotel The Princes & Spa in Mallorca! From the moment we arrived, the check-in process was smooth, and the reception staff graciously allowed us to check in 3 hours early. Our sea-facing room was just as we booked, offering stunning views.

The restaurant team was exceptional, making us feel like royalty every day. The variety of vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and vegan options was impressive, and a special shoutout to Jonathan, who went above and beyond to ensure I had a sugar-free dessert every night due to my dietary needs—such a thoughtful touch!

While most of our experience was fantastic, our last night was a bit uncomfortable due to an AC issue and external noise. However, this doesn't overshadow the wonderful hospitality we received throughout our stay. I truly appreciate the warm and attentive service, and I’d still highly recommend this hotel for a memorable Mallorca getaway!

För sjätte året i rad återvände vi till detta fantastiska hotell. Läget precis vid den långa vita sandstranden är underbart och hotellmiljön är mysig och familjär. Frukost- och middagsbufféerna håller absolut högsta klass med utsökta rätter och med något för alla. Ska man nu hitta något att anmärka på så är luftkonditioneringen lite klen. Sällan lyckas den kyla rummet till under 21 grader, trots att termostaten står på 19 grader. Överlag märks det att hotellet är mycket populärt då slitage och skavanker börjar synas såväl på rummen som på hotellet i stort. Man kan också tycka att åtmistone en flaska vatten kan ingå i middagsbuffén med tanke på vad man betalar. All dryck kostar extra och man tar bra betalt för det.

Städningen är utmärkt, utan anmärkning.

Gutes Hotel. Aber \"Kostenloses Parken ohne Service\" bedeutet dass man sein Auto irgendwo im Ort abstellen kann und dann halt laufen muss. Da es vor dem Hotel auch keine gute Haltemoeglichkeit gibt, wenn man nicht den Verkehr blockieren moechte, muss man halt mit seinem Koffer durch die Hitze laufen. Ich war schon um 12 Uhr angekommen da ich einen Morgenflug hatte. Keinerlei Flexibilitaet, das Zimmer schon vorher fertig zu haben. Ansonsten aber ein gutes Hotel mit schoenen Zimmern und einem schoenen Strand.

Très bon accueil de Ana Mari & Valentino &Almudena . Nous avons été surclassé en suite vu mer. Hôtel propre et calme. Spectacle le soir au bord de la piscine pour une ambiance sympathique. Le personnel est très agréable surtout Ana-Mari.
Il y a une salle de sport assez bien équipé et un spa pour se détendre

Hotellet låg perfekt och lätt att ta bussen från flyget om man vill det, fina rum, trevlig personal. Maten var superbra!
Om du vill gymma är inte detta hotellet för dig då rummet är litet och dålig utrustning men annars är det bra. Ligger precis på stranden. Cykeluthyrning ligger bredvid hotellet.

Zu viert verbrachten wir 8 Übernachtungen. Es war wunderbar in dem Hotel. Der Service freundlich und zuvorkommend aber nicht aufdringlich, das Hotel war sauber und neu und das Buffet am Frühstück und Abend war vielseitig mit viel Obst und Gemüse , frisch zubereitet . Es war himmlisch. Ich würde es jedem empfehlen. Der Strand war direkt in der Nähe. Im Pool konnte ich schwimmen wann immer ich wollte. Wir werden sicher bald wieder dort hin fahren.

Als wir das Hotel buchten, war einer der Hauptpunkte, dass stand, dass es kostenlose Parkplätze gibt. Da wir die Region nicht kannten, war das für uns besonders wichtig. Stellte sich jedoch heraus, dass die PP gar nicht nur für das Hotel sind sondern öffentlich. Wir konnten früher Einchecken, was für uns angenehm war. Als wir das Zimmer betraten war halt sofort klar, dass dies so ein 'Massentourismus'-Hotel ist. Vom Balkon sah man auf den Nachbarsbalkon und dieser blickte halt auch ins Zimmer rein. Was uns aber besonders störte war die fehlende Hygiene beim Frühstücksbuffet. Wir sind nicht besonders anspruchsvolle Touristen jedoch sind wir doch erst eben durch eine Pandemie wo Hygiene grossgeschrieben wurde. Das Buffet war aber pures Gegenteil. Es wurde gehustet, alles mit den Händen angefasst (Brot, Käse, Früchte, etc) und die Butter war ein grosser Block wo sich jeder nach Belieben anschneiden konnte. Wir haben einmal kurz gefrühstückt und dann diesen Raum für den Rest (5 Nächte) unserer Reise gemieden. Dasselbe gilt für das Fitness. Auch da wurde nicht gelüftet und die Geräte erinnerten an ein altes Fitness aus den 80er Jahren. Wurde gemieden für den Rest der Reise. Noch ein Punkt: Besonders hinsichtlich Hygiene fanden wir, dass die grossen Flaschen Seife, welche jeder anfassen muss um zu öffnen und zu schliessen hygienisch ein Albtraum sind. Umweltfreundlich sind sie ja gut aber trotzdem. Das Zimmer war hingegen sauber und die Grundausstattung gut auch wenn etwas alt.

Camera. Ho acquistato una camera “vista mare” ma, purtroppo, la vista era sul parcheggio interno.
Essendo in vacanza ho voluto evitare lo stress di fare contestazioni. E ho accettato di aver pagato un prezzo alto per una stanza con vista mare che invece era vista parcheggio.

Buffet. GIGANTE! Sia a colazione che a cena.
