Definitely a 3 star hotel. The food was oily, lacked diversity, and was not of top quality. I also had to change rooms, because I was initially getting smells from the kitchen coming all the way to my room from the ventilation. There's also another hotel right next door that has an amphitheater setup that blasts music until 10:30pm every night of the week, and it faces directly on the hotel rooms, meaning you get very little peace at night if you're facing that side of the hotel. The only upside was the service in this hotel, which was impeccable. The staff were all extremely polite, warm and friendly. But yeah, a lot of improvements to be made before it becomes a 4 star in my opinion.

Outstanding with something for everyone.

My stay at The Grupotel Amapola was my first time going all-inclusive and it didnt disappoint. The hotel itself is clean, tidy, and very well presented - which continued into the room which was spacious, had a wardrobe and drawers, a private bathroom with walk in shower and a balcony. Everything from ameneties to the food to staff was spot on - so much so my partner an i originally went for 5 days and extended to 8!! Aitana, José, Merija and Fran were stand out staff members who were constantly attentive, welcoming, always helpful and truely made our holiday all the better. We will definitely be back - Laina & Ash (UK Couple, mid 30's)

Don’t expect the ladies at front desk to help you. They will find every reason possible not to. The hotel is wonderful otherwise. You’re better off finding another place to stay. These ladies lack any common courtesy. Recommendation for upper management, find someone with a little humanity for this position.

For 3 star hotel is very good, especially the food, the bar and the general cleaning. The reception wasnt warmfull, and the check out wasnt very warmfull again... But i recomend this hotel for a good relation between price and services. Its nearly some good beaches and the pool was Nice too. The finish time for dinner - 9 PM is to early. We must leave the beach too early...

Hotel for beach lovers

A smaller size hotel with very friendly staff. The room was just big enough for a cozy bed and I found it very practical that my luggage perfectly fit under the bed and not using any further space. The restaurant has many choices and was not crowded during my stay. Tasty food is 5-10 drive away but supermarket is just at the corner.

Arrived at night to the hotel, was disappointed to have a room on the 1st floor and not overlooking the pool but it was nice enough. The room was quite small but the bathroom was very nice!
We were very impressed by all the staff, very friendly and helpful. We were also very happy with the food! Great for a 3star hotel! The location was great, less than 10 minute walk to a lovely beach, lots of the usual shops and the bus stop.
Entertainment was not bad, we especially loved Aqua zumba! We recommend! Only thing I would suggest needs to change are the pillows, long, thin and hard and very uncomfortable! Overall great hotel for the price but lay extra for the pool/lake view!

Staff were friendly and accomadating. We arrived late and there was a cold buffet available for us. The hotel was clean and bright.
Food was great, lots of variety and chef cooking fresh food at all sittings.
Within walking distance to shops and a beautiful beach.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and would return.

Lovely hotel with view of a small lake.

Very nice hotel with lovely staff and food. Mixed nationalities staying there. We were all inclusive and drink portions were generous in real glasses (unlike one we stayed in down the coast where it was all plastic glasses!). Nice big swimming pool and plenty of loungers and outside tables with nicely kept grounds. Our room faced the pool and lake. I think rooms facing the road and hotel opposite might have had a few issues as there always seemed to be quite loud outside entertainment going on. No real private parking as advertised and I think at busy periods parking on the one way road could be an issue. Only a short walk to the lovely well kept beach. Can not fault this hotel apart from the bed not being very comfortable but that is probably a personal preference. Only one pillow and that was like a brick!

3 Star Hotel With A 5 Star Spirit

After going on many hotel booking websites this hotel kept coming up with it's high ratings. Myself and my partner were staying in Playa de Muro for 9 nights and we wanted to stay all inclusive for the first 5 nights in budget before before checking into a 4/5 star hotel elsewhere. This hotel delivered in bucket loads, all the boxes ticked.

Are early check-in was no problem and was giving a fantastic room with a view as requested on booking. Rooms very spacious with the bathroom of a very high standard and large balcony.

Moving onto the staff they were all very warm and would do anything to help with a continuous smile on their faces. A very special thank you to Jose behind the main bar and the breakfast chef who worked wonders with the eggs always making sure we were had our plate's delivered with his charm with 2 mins.

Overall 100% recommend stay, a very rare case of paying less and getting more.

Nice hotel near beach, ideal for weekend trip

The bedrooms are clean but small, however ideal for just a weekend trip. The bathrooms are a lot more modern and are very nice.

The food at the hotel for all inclusive is poor and out of a list of 15 cocktails 2 are actually inclusive - the rest you have to pay for so they aren't actually inclusive.

Pleasant all inclusive

Enjoyed our stay at Grupotel Ampola. Reception friendly quick and efficient.Room although on the small side clean with plenty of storage for clothes.Beds comfortable although pillows very narrow and flat. Getting them changed was no problem.
Bar and restaurant area good. All inclusive food had plenty of variety of foods. Wine on tap not so good . Hotel does cater for Germans but the name imply s that and was no problem to us.
Poolside was well situated over looking lake. Lots of sun beds .
Wifi is not free €15 per week. Overall very good value for money .

Overall, good. The room was smallish and the décor was old-fashioned, but had the standard amenities (i.e. hair dryer, a/c, toiletries etc.). Housekeeping very polite. The breakfast buffet was rich, with plenty of variety to choose from, but lacked quality in some items (e.g stall bread, fruit were not ripe and cereal was somewhat tasteless to name but a few).

Estadia agradevel e tranquila

A estadia foi excelente, o café da manhã é muito completo e gostoso. O quarto era bom, mas um pouco antigo. O banheiro era reformado e muito bom. A equipe também foi muito atenciosa, nos deixaram guardar a bagagem no ultimo dia e tomar um banho no fim do dia para podermos irmos ao aeroporto.

Deux points faibles concernant la direction de l'établissement.
1-En 1/2 pension, le verre d'eau est payant, aucun accès à une fontaine à eau même en période de canicule (32 à 37°)
2-Insonorisation des chambres inexistante, on participe aux conversations des voisins de chambre !

Siamo stati 2 anni di seguito in questo albergo. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Le stanze sono piccole, però in quella zona gli immobili sono molto costosi. Noi abbiamo sempre fatto formula All Inclusive. Il cibo è veramente buono, sempre tanta scelta di varie pietanze, e veramente gustoso.
La spiaggia di Muro è vicina, ci vogliono circa 10 minuti per raggiungerla.

Petit hôtel très propre avec un personnel sympathique et réactif (panne de climatisation rétablie de suite). Chambre agréable avec balcon vue sur le lac et la piscine (coucher de soleil), mini réfrigérateur, salle de bain assez grande avec douche spacieuse et bonne pression de l'eau . Ménage fait tous les jours( dimanche ?) avec changement des serviettes. Nourriture correcte et très variée chaque soir. Formule all inclusive avec grand choix de boissons sur la carte. Il faut savoir que l'eau du robinet n'est pas très bonne.Facile de se garer dans la rue le long de l'hôtel. 6 minutes à pied de la très belle playa de Muro.

En rigtig god oplevelse - vi kommer klart igen.

Vores første gang på dette hotel, selvom vi årligt er på Mallorca samme uge i april. Det var en meget positiv oplevelse. God beliggenhed. utroligt venligt og serviceminded personale. maden var den mest positive oplevelse; meget veltilberedt, i særdeleshed deres brede udvalg af fisk både til frokost og aften. Vi fik meget i forhold til prisen. Eneste lille anke er lyd. Der er meget lydt mellem værelserne - vi kunne næsten følge med i naboværelsets samtale. Vi var der i lavsæson, men det kunne potentielt have irriteret mig mere, hvis hotellet havde været fuldt belagt. Ikke destomindre vender vi tilbage næste år - for det var samlet en fremragende oplevelse.

Rent och fint hotell. Bra mat gällande både frukost och middag. Vi var där och cyklade och hade önskat ett större cykelförråd med tanke på alla andra cyklister som var där. Vi tog med oss cyklarna på rummet vilket blir lite trångt.

Hotel che ospita clientela principalmente tedesca (io e mio figlio eravamo forse gli unici italiani), è dotato di zone comuni graziose e al buffet propone cibi per tutti i gusti. Se non cercate di mangiare la pasta a tutti i costi, direi la maggior parte dei piatti sono abbastanza ben cucinati. Le camere sono sufficientemente spaziose e il servizio di pulizia è abbastanza buono. Se dovessi fare un appunto, direi che i camerieri addetti al servizio ristorante dovrebbero fare più attenzione a non sparecchiare i tavoli mentre i clienti si alzano per prendere altre pietanze al buffet. È capitato a noi e anche ad altri clienti di tornare al tavolo e non trovare più nulla (neanche i piatti che dovevano ancora essere terminati). Nel complesso, voto 8.

Nell'attesa di un imbarco più volte ritardato

Il personale è stato subito gentile ed accogliente.
Ha risolto il problema della mia partenza che in un primo tempo doveva essere alle 8.A causa del cambiamento di orario del battello ho dovuto anticipare alle 7.30.
Mi è stato garantito grazie anche alla gentilezza del personale del ristorante di prendere qualcosa da poter mangiare nella attesa dell'imbarco.
Ho anche apprezzato l'inaziativa dell'animatore che mi ha coinvolto in una gara di carabina veramente divertente.

Das Hotel ist schon etwas älter, aber in gutem Zustand. Es war sehr sauber und das Personal war stets freundlich. Jeden Abend gab es Programm. Das Essen war gut. Der Strand war in etwas 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Für ein 3 Sterne Hotel top.

Todo el equipo humano que trabaja en grupotel Amapola es excelente, desde el equipo de limpieza, cafetería, restaurante, recepción. Son muy amables, serviciales, agradables,... Hacen que la estancia sea maravillosa. Cosas a mejorar: el colchón de la habitación y supongo que de las habitaciones es nefasto, lo contraresta el equipo de limpieza, la habitación es preciosa, bien decorada con un balcón muy cómodo. El baño es perfecto y bonito y te cambian las toallas diariamente (maravilloso) Otra cosa a mejorar es la comida, los horarios. Yo evalúo la comida (como no pruebas todo aunque sea buffet, por la pizza y oh :( la pizza era muy mala) Los horarios están hechos para extranjeros... Dudo mucho que cenemos de 18:30 a 21:00 hora y la comida de 13:00 a 14:30 esto es un problema para mí en concreto y lo peor de esto es que al no saberlo cuando llegué el primer día el vuelo había aterrizado tarde a las 22:00 no había nada de cena (se me ofreció 4 trozos de jamón york y 4 de queso, un poco de lechuga y ya... Era lo que había sobrado supongo. Pero si lo sabes que la cena es hasta las 21:00 me hubiera comprado algo en el aeropuerto) Las actividades no las he utilizado (por lo que no voy a opinar). La ubicación para mí y lo que quería es excelente está a 5 min de la playa Muro y es una maravilla, de las 10 más bonitas de España. Dicho todo esto el personal, el equipo humano es un 10 de trabajadores, serviciales... Yo volvería y si se cambia lo que he puesto a mejorar me alegraría muxo

Es un hotel de 3 estrellas, aunque parece de 4.

La piscina es mediana, aunque suficiente para darse un buen baño.
La comida es buena, y hay variedad.
las habitaciones están bastante bien.
Está a 4 minutos andando de la playa, muy cerquita.
Está ubicado junto a un lago precioso, que tiene patos y peces.

Estuvimos allí en pareja para un día de relax el sábado todo incluido y menos mal que paguemos un día porque los colchones de muelles te trituraban la espalda estuvimos allí unas horas acostados y nos tuvimos que levantar irnos del hotel porque es imposible dormir entre los portazos que daban que todo se oye y los colchones que eso era una tortura que hasta que se hundían y menos mal que vivíamos a 50 kilómetros de allí y podemos ir al pasar la noche a nuestra casa y la comida horrible daban como plato principal hamburguesa para comer y patatas super frías de las congeladas y espaguetis con tomate sin carné y sin nada nada de variedad y los postres no había quien se los comiera todos congelados y la cena me pareció un poco mejor porque dieron empanadas pero la comida fatal y las bebidas todas de polvo de máquina malísimas y la habitación hay nevera y te dan un vaso de agua con un cubito para que te la subas a la habitación con una se en agosto terrorífica y yo por supuestísimo no recomiendo este hotel para nada es una caca de hotel no se lo recomendaría ni a mi peor enemigo

Secondo anno in questo hotel, dal mio punto di vista ottimo il mangiare , si potrebbe migliorare sui dolci, l'animazione come spettacoli esterni, molto bravi, quella interna solo con due ragazzi, facevano quel che potevano, ma bravi, i barman eccezionali e simpaticissimi, un saluto particolare ad Antonio del bar e al cuoco Pedro, che su richiesta ci ha fatto anche i churros (non so se ho scritto giusto).
Nel complesso consiglio questa struttura.

settimana a maiorca fantastica!
l'albergo si trova in una posizione non centrale ma comoda per muoversi in macchina, la spiaggia è comunque facilmente raggiungibile a piedi in 5 minuti.
sicuramente non un albergo dove trascorrere intere giornate, ma il rapporto qualità-prezzo è ottimo. noi abbiamo scelto la formula all inclusive.
camere leggermente piccole ma dotate di ogni comfort, bagni comodi e restrutturati di recente, dotati di saponi e creme prontamente riforniti.
da buon italiano non posso non criticare i pasti: sicuramente abbondanti e con discreta varietà, ma la qualità può sicuramente migliorare così come il ricambio (varie pietanze ma sempre le stesse!), analogo discorso per la colazione.
un encomio particolare va al personale: tutti davvero gentili e disponibili
la nota peggiore: i cocktail fatti con la macchina e il cestino per il pranzo a pic-nic (davvero da dimenticare!)

We enjoyed our stay, it was better then we expected. Food is very good! Staff is helpful and kind. It was not difficult at all to walk to the sea. Thank you, Amapola, for our wonderful vacation! Would love to return!
