All the hotel staff are lovely, very pleasant and helpful.
The hotel itself is in a good central position for shops and restaurants and has a good, secure bike storage facility with limited tools, a bike wash station, a shower, a toilet and drinking water.
The room was specious with a seperate bedroom, 2 large single beds pushed together but made up separately, a shower room with hairdryer, dining/kitchenette/living area and a small balcony. Utensils a bit battered and burnt but ample pans ect. A coffee machine, toaster and kettle all provided. Cleaners almost everyday baring twice a week and although it was nice of them to straighten the beds and empty the bins, not much cleaning took place! Although the hotel states there is wifi in the rooms, we were unable to access it at all during our 12 night stay at the beginning of October. The pool was freezing as it doesn't get the sun all day and not all the sunbeds are able to be in the sun but, again, it was October. The bar is cheap enough and you are allowed to have glass round the pool area. The only bad thing to say about the hotel is the extremely annoying background music played constantly in the reception and pool area. It was like being put on hold on the phone only you couldn't hang up! There are prettier locations to stay, like Pollenca but Muro does have lots going on and the hotel is literally just accross the road from the beach. Altogether, a pleasant stay for what we paid. Definitely a 3* plus.

Rooms are clean and staff were generally pleasant. This was our second visit as we enjoyed the central location of the hotel. Lovely renovation to pool area at main hotel. The annexe pool isnt so nice. Sadly no longer any evening entertainment and bar closed at a very early 7pm.

Good times

Facilities outdated but well maintained. We stayed at the flats/studios in the second building. The unlimited buffet deal was great making the price affordable for breakfast and lunch. The building is right under a terrace bar so it can get quite loud until late making sleep quite difficult for the young ones.

Food buffet was nice, we did it one day when we were by the pool. It’s unlimited for breakfast, brunch and lunch so we went in 2-3 times during the time period. We stayed in the lago2 which was more run down but fine. Pool towels would have been appreciated to be included in the price as we had to use our room towels which was annoying. Housekeeping was good but there were 2 days out of the week they didn’t clean (as in they don’t clean on those days). Hotel room had strong smell of drains particularly during the first part of the week, not sure if it was related to the wetter weather as it went away when it was sunnier. Little kitchenette was good, well equipped and easy to make meals in. Beds were quite comfy but pillows too flat, used a blanket underneath but still wasn’t very comfortable. Bit noisy as our room faced the bar. Staff all friendly and helpful. Local area was fine, lots of nice restaurants (we liked el patio and the pizza place a street or so nearby) and nice beach, beach quite small so not much room for kids to play football. Worked well as a base for us to explore the island. Had no issues with on street parking apart from one sunny weekend day where we just parked a bit further away.

The pictures of the hotel in the Internet are heavily photoshopped and do not correspond to the reality, especially the pool area. Additionally, the hotel consists of two buildings, newer and older. The older building is not shown in the pictures, and it looks far less attractive than the main. For the price the hotel charges per night, there are far better options.

The apartment was clean and had everything to self cater. Air conditioning was good. Most staff were friendly. The pool looked quite tired but we went to the beach most days so it was ok. Location is right in the town centre close to shops and restaurants. The hotel overbooked and we were put into an alternative hotel for 1 night which did spoil our first impressions. I would return to the hotel though.

Really pleasantly surprised at how nice it was to stay here! The staff were really lovely and the room was more impressive than the photos. Parking is a little bit annoying if you come back later in the evening but you’re never too far from the hotel.

The Good: mostly clean with modern rooms, and well maintained medium-sized pools. Close to half a dozen decent restaurants and the excellent beach (albeit very crowded). Friendly reception, entertainment, and cleaning staff.

The Bad: The immediate surroundings outside are busy with trash on the ground and a poorly maintained park. A large tree branch fell into the pool area during our stay. The air con was very weak and ineffective. The wifi went down for a couple of days but was fixed within 48 hours. The cleaners missed our room on 5 out of 6 days. A laundry strike meant we couldn’t get fresh towels until day 4. The check in system needs updating as it took 15 mins to get our keys. Don’t expect to get taxis but there are frequent buses for getting to the port and the old town.

The Ugly: They advertise building 1 and its pool but half of guests are placed in building 2 around the corner. The property between them is owned separately and includes shops, a park, and an outdoor bar which plays loud music until midnight. We (2 adults & 2 kids) were put in building 2 above the bar, which was noisy as hell and smelled of cigarette smoke; we couldn’t open the balcony door or go outside. We stayed there for one night until we could be moved to the opposite side of building 2 for the remainder which was much better. However because the room allocation is pot luck, I would not go back nor recommend this hotel.

We stayed there for 9 days. Really great hotel for families, clean big apartments, very good breakfast and dinner, kind and positive staff (both at reception and canteen)

We were lucky as our room was facing street, less lucky might listen to the very loud music from the bar.

Overall it's an amazing family focused hotel. Thanks to staff who made our stay pleasant

I arrived early at the property, whereby the staff went out of their way way to provide my accommodation. I was also upgraded free of charge to a one bed, as the studio I had selected had been double-booked. The whole team were pleasant and polite at all times, and dealt with all my queries efficiently.
The onsite cycle hire was useful, though the bikes could be a bit more up-to-date considering the hire charges (almost 100 euros for 2 days) be aware helmets, pedals etc. are all extras.
I found the area a bit quiet in terms of evening entertainment, though a short bus ride into Alcudia soon remedied that.

We really enjoyed our stay in Lago Park Hotel! Stuff has very personalised attitude to each customer. They brought us a birthday present and were really concerned when we needed medical assistance.
Our son enjoyed animation team and never missed a single mini disco. We will highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Muro!

The rooms are nice with kitchenette & balcony. The staff is very helpful and responsive. The hotel is well located with a nice pool, bar and restaurant. However, the property just opened after being closed for 2 years due to Covid. So lot of issues with door keys, tv and appliances in the room. They were fixed promptly but these items should have been inspected and fixed prior to hotel’s re-opening rather than inconveniencing guests during their stay. Except for that, it’s a very nice place to stay..

I relaxed in this place with my family for one week, it's a Very good hotel with all amenities included (fridge, dryer, towels, soap, swimming pool etc.), room very cleaned (except for the balcony but who care).

The apt. was in the second building, it was for four people but they didn't inform us before that two beds were to be open/prepared from a sofa bed, a bit small bed in the living room. :-(
Breakfast very rich with salty and sweet food,
Dinner is the weak point of this place, self-service only and poor in quality, paella not very good (never seen a very good and fresh paella de mar, fluffy rice and poor of seafood) a lot of breaded food every day without a proper beef, stale, fluffy and old pasta with only one tomato sauce .. unbeatable. (no parmesan at all)
I've never seen a steak or beef in one week, they only grill lamb chops, or pork but only once/twice a week. Bahh..
It's a pity because with a bit effort more it could be a very valuable hotel.

Lago Park “2” self catering apartment

Had a lovely 4 nights stay in self-catering apartment. Cleaners most days. Room very clean. We booked Lago Park, but ended up next door in “lago park 2”. Was quieter, so suited us with young family. All entertainment and pool bar etc is in Lago Park 1, so be sure to specify preference.

Apartment was lovely . Clean spacious and an excellent powerful shower . We stayed in the second building away from main block . Balcony never got the sun and it looked out on a very run down area where it looked like stuff had just been dumped . Ha ether pool area to ourself in this block which was nice . Muro has the most stunning beach and you walk one way to Alcúdia and the other way to Can Picafort . We went middle of March and it was very quiet with not a lot open but that’s how we like it .

It's a convenient place to stay in- close to the beach, restaurants and shops.

Coffee at breakfast was not very good at all. Other downside was that you had to pay for the WiFi. WiFi was free only at the reception - but sometimes didn't work.

They cleaned the room and everything apart from the utensils and cutlery.

We stayed in the premium apartments which were clean and had a balcony. The hotel was fine and we ate locally finding plenty of choice within a short walk/ drive. The hotel didn't seem too busy and there was plenty of room by the pool.

had a lovely holiday. We were upgraded upon arrival to a lovely room with a nice view. Most of the staff were friendly and efficient. The only that disappointed me was when my 13 year old daughter had an accident in the room. She was sat on a piece of furniture doing her hair when it broke and she fell to the floor and banged her head. She was fine just sore. I took photos and reported it immediately to a man on reception. He was very nice about the incident and was concerned about my child's welfare. I thought that was the end of it.
The following a day a note was left in our room to contact reception, before we had a chance to do so someone phoned our room saying the cleaners had reported it and that we never told anyone. I then went to reception and was told to wait for the manageress. She eventually came and i explained the incident and apologized. She said that there was no way that the furniture would just break like that. I felt she was implying that the children had been misusing the stool. I explained that i would not except my child to behave like that at home, and i certainly wouldn't allow her to in a hotel. I was very upset and was made to feel like i was lying. The manageress eventually waived the cost of the stool once i said i would email the furniture company about their faulty goods. Everything else about the hotel was lovely so the way we were made to feel was disappointing so we no longer brought drinks there.

Perfect family holiday

We have just returned from lago park and we couldn't fault a single thing. We stayed in a premium 1 bedroom apartment (2 adults 2children) the bedroom has 2 single beds and the living room has a pull out sofa bed. The kitchen area was well equipped with a hob, toaster, kettle, fridge and microwave.
All the staff at lago park are friendly and helpful. there is a wide range of entertainment throughout the day and evening.
There are 2 swimming pools both with a children's pool, gym, bar, laundry facilities, 24hr reception, a terrace bar.
The hotels restaurant offers breakfast and dinner very reasonably priced. We ate there on one occasion near the end of our stay and everything was very tasty with lots of different choices.
The apartments themselves are situated within a 5 minute walk to the beach which is beautiful. Very shallow water which is perfect for children. There are lots of little shops dotted around and loads of restaurants.
Overall we had a fantastic holiday.
We would definitely return to lago park.

Just what we needed....

Lovely holiday, very good weather, (for end of October). Hotel staff very helpful, polite and friendly. Food in restaurant is VERY good value for money and delicious. Swimming pool was a bit cold for me, but girls went in a couple of times, (sea was warmer). Loved how close we were to the beach. Apartment was perfect for the four of us, although just one bedroom and two put-up beds in lounge. Internet was down 2 of the 5 days paid for. All in all a good holiday all round which we thoroughly enjoyed.

This hotel is excellent value for money and we were very pleasantly surprised by the facilities and entertainment, considering the cost. Although some other reviews have commented on the tiredness of the furniture, we found it to be perfectly functional: it is pine which some may consider old-fashioned; however, we found it perfectly acceptable for the price paid.

Great location in Platja de Mura, just a block from several great restaurants and small shops, and only two blocks away from a lovely, sandy beach.

Our two one-bedroom-apartments (1203 & 1204) were in building one (of two), and they were well equipped and comfortable for a weeks stay. The beds were just as firm as I like them, the cleaners respected the do-not-disturb-sign, the water pressure was almost like home, and there was plenty of hot water as well.

We would have wished that the pools (we tried both the main pool by building one and the smaller pool by building two) were heated a bit more (travelling in October), but 21⁰C is standard water temperature, I guess.

The reception staff was more than happy to order us a taxi to the airport when we asked the day before departure, and it turned out to be cheaper than the taxi we took from the airport (not prebooked).

All in all a great stay, and we would be more than happy to come back to Aparthotel HSM Lago Park another time.

Siamo stati bene. Lo staff è gentile, le camere grandi e pulite. La piscina divertente. Buon brunch. Purtroppo però la prima notte siamo stati mandati al Lago Park II (nonostante avessimo appartamento Premium), una struttura fatiscente e distaccata dal Lago Park che non rispecchia le foto del Lago Park pubblicizzate. Questo ci ha rovinato il primo giorno di vacanza. Fortunatamente il giorno dopo lo staff ci ha trovato una sistemazione nel palazzo di Lago Park principale. Nonostante il loro errore si sono rifiutati di darci un minimo rimborso per la prima sera. Se non ci fosse stato anche quest'ultimo problema del rimborso la valutazione sarebbe stata più alta, perché errare è umano ma bisogna correggere i propri errori.

Great vibe, friendly and relaxing!

I was there with my teenage daughter and we had a fantastic time here. From check in to check out we felt right at home. Loved the vibe, the friendly guy who both checked us in and out, Marga in the bar who made awesome drinks and the super cool DJ who played music every afternoon. It was quiet at night, and the apartment had basically everything you need (a drying rack for dishes and a pair of scissors would have been a great complement though.) Loved the long pillows. Both me and my daughter would love to stay here again.

Vi kommer gärna tillbaka!

Vi hade en mycket bra vistelse på HSM lago park. Vi fick ett rum i deras andra byggnad, vilket man kan tro är en nackdel. Men för oss blev det en fördel! Det var ett lugnare område med ett poolområde som också var lugnt och betydligt mindre folk än vid ”main building”, så vi hade aldrig problem med att hitta solstolar och barnen kunde hoppa och plaska som de ville utan att störa någon.
De hade mycket trevlig personal som var måna om att vi hade det bra.
Maten i buffén var helt okej. Helt och hållet vad vi förväntade oss.
Sängarna var hårdare än vad vi är vana vid hemma men det var inget som störde oss under vår vecka som vi var där.
Vi kommer gärna tillbaka till detta hotellet!

The apartmant/hotel has two buildings with their own pools. The main building is great, nevly renovated inside and out. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Only problem is only one bathroom with a sliding door that can't lock and the door get's stuck when closed so children get trapped. Helped several kids out of the bathroom. Easy fix if prioritized by staff. Otherwise great. The second building which we were stationed, was old and not that great.

Bra att bo i lägenhet men med möjlighet till deras brunch. Brunchen var prisvärd och på så vis kunde man få både frukost, fika och lunch varje dag. Trevliga rum, bra personal, bra läge.

Vi var veldig fornøyd med oppholdet ved Lago Park. Beliggenheten var god og betjeningen var veldig serviceminded og de bidro til en hyggelig, trygg og god atmosfære. Bassengområdet var relativt lite, men rent og fint hele tiden. Vi hadde bestilt frokost/ brunsj og det angret vi ikke på da de som spiste tidig rakk og spise også lunsj før det ble stengt. Stor variasjon i mat og noe for enhver smak. OM man skulle ønsket noe mer/ annerledes, så var det at man kunne hatt mulighet for å kjøpe vann/mineralvann i resepsjonen etter barens stengingstid. Men alt i alt, vi kommer gjerne igjen.

Dont get scammed - like me!!

Beautiful pictures, But absolutely nothing like reality.
I'll keep it simple:
1. Extreme noise from the \"cocktail bar\" just outside the windows.
2. COCKROACHES in the room. Several cockroaches where in our room, despite us complaining, not much was done about it.
3. The state of the building and sourroundings are just sad.

I feel cheated by the pictures, and hope you dont make the same mistake as we did.

Vår vistelse var fantastiskt på Lago Park, utöver förväntan! Bra läge nära stranden och alla bekvämligheter. Tack till personal som gjorde vår resa superb! Verkligen en familjär stämning! Emplacement tres bien. Facilité de stationnement dans la rue au mois de mai.
Dommage pour les chaises qui font un bruit insupportable et nous reveillent lorsque les autres hôtes ne font pas attention en pleine nuit.
Les appartements surplombent une petite rue ce qui fait resonner les bruits. Relativement calme la nuit.
Super petit déjeuner. Personnel tresnagreable et serviable.
Il faut aimer les ambianges de stations balneaires ultra touristiques

La zona sembrava tranquilla, ma in alcune notti ci sono stati schiamazzi notturni con urla di qualche balordo alle 2 di notte.
La cosa più spiacevole è stato trovare nei parcheggi in strada adiacente l'albergo, diverse auto vandalizzate con segni sulla carrozzeria.

Speisenauswahl war okay- vorallem für den Preis.
Das Benehmen der Eltern mit Kleinkindern sollte nicht geduldet werden. Wir hatten so viel Mitleid mit den Angestellten, wenn Eltern es erlaubten, dass Kleinkinder das Essen auf den Boden warfen UND die Eltern es NICHT wegmachten, sondern die Kellnerin!!!

Die Atmosphäre und zentrale Lage war sehr angenehm. Zimmer mit Balkon war sehr schön. Über die unglaubliche laute Musik am Abend könnte man nochmal reden. Diese ging schon unglaublich lange,sehr laut.

Prisvärt och trevligt

Personalen var hjälpsamma och trevliga.
Frukosten var över förväntan med tanke på priset, så det var väldigt bra, mycket variation och kvalite.
Middagen/lunchbuffen var inte alls bra eller prisvärd, det skulle jag inte rekommendera.
Sängarna var stenhårda och första rummet vi fick var mot poolen där alla kvällsshower var, vi fick byta rum utan problem efter några nätter när vi sagt till.
Poolerna var bra och aktiviteterna för barn var roliga för små barn.
Jag skulle absolut kunna komma tillbaka igen med familjen.

Posizione molto comoda per la spiaggia (5 minuti a piedi) e circondata da negozi e ristoranti. Il locale al piano terra tiene musica alta fino a mezzanotte.

Staff at the Hotel was veru good. I had book am accomodation for my familty of 3.. I was given a room in the extended part of hotel , which didnt give a good feel .. it is cut off from Main Building .. It is an average accomodation.

Positiv: resepsjonspersonalet var veldig hyggelige og informative. Renholdspersonalet var hyggelige. Renhold av rom nesten hver dag. God størrelse på rommet. AC. Mulighet for sykkel-oppbevaring, med drikkevann og verktøy. 5 min gådistanse til stranden. To bassenger med god størrelse.

Negativ: rommene er lytt fra utsiden mot stuen (soverom virket bedre isolert). Dårlig med mulighet for å vaske tallerkener ol. selv (ingen såpe eller børste/skrubb).

schöne Ferien, Unterkunft im unteren Mittelmass

Check-in war tiptop, Entfernung vom Strand ist auch super. Ausstattung ist ok, aber nicht mehr - z.T. konnten die Schranktüren nicht geschlossen werden, überall sind etwas die Spuren der Zeit zu sehen. WC / Dusche ist schön, die Dusche hat z.B. aber kleines Glaspanel zum Schliessen (der halbe Durchgang ist noch offen) und so ist nach dem Duschen doch ein gutes Stücks des WC-Bodens nass.
Küchenausstattung ist gut; leider wird aber weder das Trocknungstuch, noch der Abwaschlappen z.B. nach einer Woche einmal getauscht. Induktionskochfeld mit zwei Platten ist sicher und praktisch.

Bei den der Strasse zugewandten Zimmern gibt es einiges an Strassenlärm - dafür hat man einen wirklich grossen Balkon.

WLAN ist vorhanden wenn es gerade funktioniert - wir hatten in unserer Wohnung während drei aufeinanderfolgenden Tagen kein WLAN; die Reception darauf angesprochen war die Reaktion: \"ja, im Haus 2 haben wir immer wieder Probleme damit\"

Unten im Komplex und im Innenhof sind irgendwelche Läden eingemietet. Gewisse Betreiber dieser Shops kümmern sich nicht um die Hotelgäste und schlagen auch weit ausserhalb der Öffnungszeiten und bis nach Mitternacht waren um. Dies kann sehr laut & störend sein. Allgemein ist der Komplex ringhörig.

Die gratis Möglichkeit zum Duschen in einem Zimmer nach Check-out am Abreisetag haben wir sehr geschätzt.

Wir hatten sehr schöne Ferien, werden ein anderes Mal in Muro aber wohl nach einer anderen Unterkunft Ausschau halten.

Le personnel ne parle pas français mais ils sont tous très agréable à l'accueil comme au restaurant. Appartement confortable et propre. La plage est accessible à pied et plusieurs magasins de souvenirs ouverts tard pour une balade nocturne. Le bus passe toutes les 15 min proche de l'hôtel, très pratique.

Bra familjehotell med nära till stranden

Jättebra hotell med fina lägenheter, väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Gångavstånd till den fina Alcudia-stranden. Det enda minus var poolen tyvärr inte var den renaste. Det var mycket folk som badade och med barn är poolen en viktig del av resan. Utöver detta var allt toppen!

Bra rum i lugnt, fint område och nära till den jättefina stranden! Bra med kylskåp på rummet.
Det var inte jättemycket folk på stranden eller vid poolen vilket var skönt.

Vi hade halvpension. Maten var ok. Man betalar för dryck. Läsken smakade ingenting så hädanefter blev det vatten på flaska.

Vi bad att få bo nära de vi reste med och vi fick rummen bredvid varandra. Hjälpsam och trevlig personal i receptionen.

Havde ikke forventet, at der var så mange skrigende børn. Vi boede i Lago II på 1 sal, men fra forretningen i grundplan blev der konstant røget Weed , meget generende . Der er et dejligt personale , go’ underholdning , rengøringen er fin.

Veldig fint og nyoppusset hotellrom med stor plass. Kjøkkenet var utstyrt med absolutt alt man måtte trenge for å lage mat. Komfortabel sofa, seng helt ok. Renholdet var litt dårlig til tider, gulvet ble aldri rengjort og ila en ukes opphold var de kun innom 3 ganger. Terrassen var vendt mot kveldssola, og ble så varm at til og med håndtaket på døra var farlig å røre, så vi fikk dessverre ikke brukt den på kveldstid.

Хороший отель на твёрдые 3 европейских звёзды. Пляж через дорогу (надо пересечь центральную улицу, но движение по ней неактивное и много переходов). Завтраки однообразные, но есть всё, что нужно: яйца разных видов, сосиски-колбасы, каша, хлопья, сыры и йогурты, Фрукты. Не хватает арбузов - они тут безумно вкусные, но выдают их только на ужин. На ужинах тоже довольно большой выбор. В том числе вегетарианская еда. Номера убирают ежедневно кроме среды и субботы. Есть микрокухня с необходимым минимумом для готовки. Кондиционер работает исправно. В целом за эти деньги рекомендую этот отель.

Das Badezimmer des Apartments war akzeptabel, Dusche war super wegen der größe. Leider war der Klodeckel ekelhaft, es waren spuren sichtbar die durch Desinfektionstücher nicht wegzuwischen waren. Der Klodeckel gehört dringend ausgetauscht.
Unterkunt abgenutzt, Sauberkeit wurde insgesamt nicht großgeschrieben. Sofa in der Unterkunft schmutzig. Bett war ganz ok. Küche hat gepasst.
Rezeptionist war freundlich und sympathisch.
