Good amenities overall and lots of space on site. Swimming pools were very cold and many of sunshade umbrellas were broken. Disappointing we were unable to access the sun loungers and pool area on the sun deck

We had a ground floor room with a tub and garden which was lovely. Beds were comfy, housekeeping was good and cleaned every day. Everything we needed in the room with a supermarket opposite. Breakfast was nice but we didn't enjoy the evening meal at all and all struggled to choose something, we were half board but didnt go back in after night 3 which was a pain as very little choice of restaurants nearby (2), lucky we had a car. They were strange options, a lot of veal when chicken would have been a much better option. It all looked unapitising, especially the night with the baby suckling pig. My nephew hasnt stopped talking about his poor little face! 😔

Booked the holiday at the last minute and wasnt sure what to expect having never been to a resort before.
On arrival we found the rooms to be large comfortable and clean, and the resort to be beautiful and well catered.
My kids especially enjoyed the kids club and loved the evening entertainment.

Best hotel on Playa de Muro

Loved this hotel, food excellent and freshly made in some cases in front of you, so much choice. Staff are so hardworking. Daily maid service, she was lovely and always made our room fresh and tidy.
It is predominantly Germans so most of the songs in the show are German but they still do include English.
Pools were great and had something for everyone in the different types. They don't allow people to reserve sun beds and take towels away if people do so plenty of beds available throughout the day.
Room was spacious, bright and modern. Sofa bed was massive and all for us could fit on it so plenty of space for the children to sleep.
The beach is lovely and only a 30 second walk from the hotel through a gate. 2 beds and an umbrella €14 a day.
We were in block 5 near the reception, some of the pool view rooms especially on the ground floor you are very exposed to people walking past so we preferred being up and out of the way, more privacy.
There is a supermarket directly opposite if you need anything. We went to the arcades a lot across the road and you could ride ponies also.
There is a mini train you can ride for €14 for a family of 2 adults 2 children, it takes you up to Alcudia town which is very busy and what we realised is our Hotel was definitely the best one and in a quiet location. Definitely planning to go back again. Thank you to all at the Playa Garden Selection for making our holiday so wonderful.

Nice stay and friendly staff. Overall, I found the German guests rude, not friendly and would cut me off in line. Nice beach for swimming. Need to get there early to reserve an umbrella. One day they said I had to purchase a week and would not allow me to purchase by day $14. The next I was able to rent them by the day.

Very nice hotel close to the beach

It has been a very lovely family holidays. Hotel is perfectly suitable for families with small children. Choice of different swimming pools, food was amazing, very clean apartments and staff helpful and approachable. I would definitely revisit this hotel.

Well - I normally keep these short but this time I can't - the positives; great rooms, close to beach, great pool

Negatives - the staff do not work together well - we upgraded when we arrived for a 24 hour treat - we didn't get given a wrist band which meant that we had to present a receipt every time we left the pool to get a drink - this wasn't a big problem until the morning of day 1 (still within 24 hours of arriving) when 2 staff refused to serve us despite having 3 hours left at all inc - so I had to go to the front desk to ask them to confirm back to the pool. Secondly the food really is weak - few vegetarian options and its basically just cheap food in high quantities . finally the kids entertainment is v poor and hidden away - So all in all, not a patch on Viva Blue up the road which has worse rooms but everything else excels!! This place seems to have a gap between management and staff and no buzz about to it to make you feel like you on holiday - such a shame

Great location for a quieter holiday!

The hotel is made up of multiple 2 story blocks centred around 2 large swimming pools and plenty of palm trees. The rooms were generous in size, were nicely furnished and very clean. The only downside we had with the hotel was the facilities available given we were self catering. There was no oven, no kettle, no toaster, no grill! Just a microwave, 2 electric Hobbs and a fridge.
Back to the positives, the hotel was situated directly on the beach. There was a gate at the bottom of the complex which opened on to a 20-30 meter sandy path leading on to the beach.
The hotel is located approx 5km down the bay from the Port of Alcudia, and sits between Alcudia and Can Picafort. This means it is a little quieter around the hotel but there is still multiple shops and bars to prevent you having to travel into town for food and drinks.
Like us, if you go self catering, I'd recommend hiring a car for your stay to allow you to go a bit further afield for an evening meal. The best restaurants around are approx 2-3km from the hotel towards Alcudia.

We had a 6 day stay here in April 2016. Great value for money. Brilliant breakfast but too many sugary offerings to tempt the kids. Very spacious room and very comfortable. The staff are particularly helpful and friendly especially the reception staff. Local bus takes you to all the major towns which are well worth a visit.

Great location, superb pools and right on the beac

Nice hotel. It is very geared up for German tourists. The entertainment is all German language (including kids clubs). The food is generally very good with a few extreme examples in the buffet that need avoiding (spicy boiled curried German sausages is a strange delicacy) but overall with enough variation to suite any palate. The all-inclusive drinks are waiter served but you can short cut this by going straight to the bar. Last week of October meant the hotel wasn't even half full.

Staff very attentive. The room had a kitchenette was was useful (fridge, microwave and hob) but no kettle !

Beautiful and quiet.

Stunning resort just a few steps from the beach. Nice option of the beach bar for lunch and by staying mote than 7 nights free dinner at the Italian or Steak house. Really good kids club. The bus stops right outside so very easy to get to Can Picaforte or Alcudia.
The only negatives are that I spoke more German than Spanish and the Spa was disappointing. Booked a treatment which was good but there was no music or scented candles.

Great hotel, new kids pool just opened.

We had a great stay at the Playa Garden, booked last minute so expected a small room but the standard room we booked was actually a one bedroom apartment.
The swimming pools are great, and the water isn't to cool.
We went all inclusive but at this hotel you are restricted to times you can access food.
Set times for each meal with very limited snacks at the pool bar in the afternoon. Some of which you have to pay for.
If you are a Brit who likes to socialise with other Brits on holiday this is not the hotel for you.
We were one of only two british families in the hotel. It caters mainly for Germans and Scandinavians. Having said that We had a great holiday and would stay at the hotel again.

The kids mini disco every night was one of the highlights for our son. He absolutely loved it.
The evening entertainment varied in quality but the team work very hard to keep everyone entertained.

We enjoyed the trip and thought the staff at the Hotel were very nice. The proximity to the beach was great and the Hotel was clean but a 4* rating is definately not appropriate compared to other Hotels we have stayed in. We thought it was a very nice 3* Hotel.

As we had stayed here before with my grand daughter (four years ago) we thought it would be nice to return. Most of the amenities were closed and the hotel restaurant was geared to fish dishes and the selection every night and morning was bland to say the least. Was not value for money. I was also embarassed by the waiter who, as we were not wearing the wrist bands, accused us of using the drinks - when I paid for this - it was extremely embarassing and he didn't even apologise when i showed him my receipt - which included drinks - we only ever drink soft drinks but he still made an issue of it.

Don't Go!!!!

Not a four star at all, perhaps a poor 3 star at best. Facilities were poor, room condition was awful and dated. Had to catch a bus to be anywhere, however, proximity to beach was excellent. Not at all impressed, if this was advertised as a 2 star, I would have been satisfied.

Un hôtel super pour les familles avec enfants. Les piscines intérieures et extérieures sont géniales, la mer à deux pas, eaux cristallines et peu profondes.
Le buffet est excellent, diversifié.
Les chambres sont parfaitement aménagées.
Le personnel est adorable, le personnel de ménage, les serveurs, l’accueil, tous étaient adorables avec notre petit garçon. Merci à tous pour ces fabuleuses vacances !

Le seul problème qui nous as gâché notre séjour est la clientèle avec enfants bas âges , sur les 240 chambres il devait y avoir 300 enfants au moins qui ne faisaient que crier pendant les repas !... Clientèle uniquement Allemande , aucune animation en Français , personnel ne parlant pas Français . Il est inadmissible de vendre des séjours pour personnes sans enfant dans cet établissement il est impossible de trouver un moment de calme , même dans le spa des bébés avec couche !... bonjour l’hygiène. Nous avons rencontré le directeur qui nous a expliqué que l’établissement était spécialisé dans les familles . Notre séjour à été gâché , en plus j’ai loué par votre intermédiaire une voiture chez Goldcar payé avec mon séjour pour environ 45€ , mais cette agence est une vraie organisation mafieuse , assurance en plus , taxes, etc... je me suis retrouvé avec une location à + de 350 € regardez les avis sur ce loueur et vous comprendrez les techniques utilisées !... je ne comprends pas comment une agence comme expédia peut travailler avec ce genre de prestataire !’. Nous sommes déjà partis plusieurs fois avec vous , mais ce séjour nous laisse un grand doute sur votre sérieux , je n’ai à ce jour mis aucune évaluation sur trip advisor j’attends vos explicati9ns , je vous demande de faire un geste commercial à notre égard . Buffet. Espacios con alimentos vacios no repuestos o no atendidos. Zona de pasta no atendida, hasta q no hay personas esperando no aparece nadie para atenderte. Mucho tiempo sin reponer alimentos en otros espacios.
Solo se salva el personal de la plancha

Mal. En general no nos sentimos comodos con el trato del personal de recepcion, parece q les molesta tratar con españoles. Especialmente a la llegada.
Limpieza en general muy bien, animacion tambien. Por lo general personal comedor muy bien.

L’hôte est magnifique et la plage également. Nous sommes partis la 3ème semaine d’avril et nous avons malheureusement eu 5 jours sur 7 de mauvais temps (vent et pluie). Il y a très peu de personnel qui parle français. Le club des enfants est destiné uniquement aux enfants allemands, c’est un peu dommage à mon sens. Notre fils n’a pas réellement pu se faire des copains de jeux même en parlant anglais. La chambre était très bien, la vue splendide et les repas très bons. Malgré le temps, nous avons passé un bon séjour.

If you dont order the all inclusive, its not possible to get breakfast or even a coffee before 10 am.
The spanish guides for kids was amazing, but Tui took over The last day, and everything was in german and very isolated.
You Will have to pay 30 euro A day to use The sunbeds on The terrasse.

Unterkunft ist für Familien ausgerichtet und erfüllt seinen zweck. Hier und da gab es kleine Schönheitsfehler wie
z.B. Verarbeitungsqualität im Badezimmer. Beim duschen hat man das Bad komplett nass gemacht, da nicht gut abgedichtet. Gut fand ich den Innenpool, da man auch bei kalten kaltem Wetter etwas schwimmen kann.

Magnifique établissement, nous avons passé un très bon séjour dans cet hôtel. Le personnel très très sympathique malgré la barrière de la langue... Toujours aux petits soins et une attention particulière portée aux enfants.
Le ménage est fait quotidiennement de fond en combles.
Le restaurant propose de très nombreux menus, variés et très bons.
La liste des points positifs est encore longue !
Je regrette juste qu'il n'y ait eu que peu d'animations.

Vi kommer helt sikkert gerne igen

Super dejligt hotel. Lækkert poolområde. Direkte adgang fra poolområde til stranden.
Rigtig god morgenmad- og aftensmadbuffet. Meget varieret udvalg.
Pænt og rent overalt. Meget venligt personale. Mulighed for at deltage i masser af aktiviteter.
Det er et børnevenligt hotel, så der er mange børnefamilier. Er du ikke til gråd og børnestøj, så er det ikke et hotel for dig.
Der er ikke meget udstyr i køkkenet i lejligheden.
Vi kommer helt sikkert gerne igen (også selvom vi ikke har små børn).

Strandnähe genial, Sauberkeit im Zimmer wäre ausbaufähig, Essen ist gut, Athmosphäre im Restaurant eher nichts für Leute ohne Kinder. Sehr unruhig und hektisch, ist halt ein Familienhotel. Personal durchweg freundlich und hilfsbereit. Bei Bedarf (geht schnell bei kleinen Kindern) ist ein Arzt innerhalb von 30 Minuten auf dem Zimmer.

Super Off-Season Urlaub mit Baby

Moderne und sehr schöne Anlage. Sehr nettes und kinderliebes Personal. Hatten Halbpension gebucht und das Abendessen hat mich in Sachen Qualität und Vielfalt echt positiv überrascht, bin da sonst recht kritisch bei Buffet im Hotel. Direkte Strandlage natürlich super. Wir haben selten ein so sauberes Hotel erlebt. Alles ist gepflegt. Die Gartenanlage ist wunderschön. Der Strand ein Traum. Die Apartments sind groß und frisch renoviert. Das Frühstück könnte nicht besser sein. Das Abendessen ist sehr gut. Es gibt jeden Abend Shows, wobei etwa die Hälfte von Profis sind, die andere Hälfte durch die Animateure gemacht werden. Alle Profishows waren erstklassig. Die der Animateure waren ok. Ich habe noch nie so gut in einem Hotel geschlafen nachts. Sehr erholsamer Urlaub

Nice family hotel

When we stayed in this hotel (with kids at 3 & 6 yrs), many other families with small children did so too. They managed the large amounts of children very well and the staff was exceptionally friendly with the kids. Rooms were very nice, as were the pools.
The hotel is located right by the beach which is another kids-friendly asset. And the beach and water themselves are fantastic! What is a bit annoying is that the beach in front of hotel is covered with hotel-owned sun loungers that one needs to rent out. Same holds, of course, for the next hotel(s) and little space is inbetween.
The mini club daycare ladies did an absolutely fantastic job and at least our older child very much enjoyed their offer (games, face painting, dancing and singing etc).
The food (breakfast and dinner) was ok.
The room cleaners did a good job too but often came around 1 or 2pm, i.e. when our younger child was napping, so that we couldn't let her in.

Muy agradable

Hemos estado una semana en julio una familia de dos adultos y dos niños de 13 y 10 años. La habitación es muy espaciosa y el sofá donde duermen los niños es bastante cómodo. También son muy cómodas las camas del dormitorio de matrimonio. Nosotros hemos estado en régimen de media pensión y tanto el desayuno como la cena han estado muy bien. Tienen absolutamente de todo. El personal del restaurante muy amables y cordiales. El hotel tiene una piscina muy grande y un spa que se puede usar por los clientes del hotel de manera gratuita. En general no tenemos ninguna queja del hotel, son los horarios totalmente adaptados a los turistas extranjeros. La cena acaba a las 9.15 .....impensable para los españoles, que a esa hora normalmente no hemos ni empezado.
La playa es muy buena y tiene acceso directo desde el hotel

Great family hotel, and what a welcome! We were not VIP guests, but were upgraded from a standard room to one with a jaccuzzi outside - greatly appreciated as we have kids who go to bed early, and we couldn't leave the room after 8 PM (kids are 3 and 5 years old). Also being offered orange juice or champagne at arrival sets the standard, although we didn't take advantage of the offer.

There are several pools to play in, the kids pool with the pirate ship of course being a huge success. The pool bar had free ice cream and slush, which the kids loved and we went to get often.

We has breakfast, lunch and dinner in the hotel restaurant/buffet during our stay. The staff was both efficient and friendly, the food was good - maybe not very exciting, but a good variety of dishes and something for everyone to like.

Close to the hotel is a supermarket, horse back riding for kids, trampolines, a playground, some stores etc.

If we come back to the area, we will definitly stay here again. If the kids are happy, so are we! We can reccomend this hotel to anyone who is travelling with kids.

Top Hotel an wunderschönem Strand

Hotel ist frisch renoviert. Schöne, geräumige Apartnents. Schöne Poolandschaft, perfektes Frühstück, gutes Abendessen. Cocktails waren nicht so gut, einheimische Liköre um so besser. Abendshows reichten von Top bis so lala. Die Show mit Livetanz und Live Musik war einfach genial. Die Playbackshows der Animateure waren nicht so gut. Der Strand erinnert an die Karibik. Nächstes mal Mallorca nur in riesenHaften.

Familienfreundlich, nettes Personal, schöne Zimmer

Wir (3 Erwachsene und ein 8 Monate altes Baby) haben den Urlaub in der Unterkunft sehr genossen und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen! Die Anlage ist sehr schön mit kinderfreundlicher Poollandschaft mit ausreichend Liegen und Sonnenschirmen und einem tollen, langen, seicht abfallenden Sandstrand vor der Tür. Das Appartement ist schön eingerichtet mit bequemem großem Bett und sehr praktischer und überraschend bequemer Klappcouch, so dass 4 Erwachsene Platz finden. Das Personal war sehr nett und kinderfreundlich! Auf Anfrage wurde uns ein Hochstuhl, ein Wasserkocher und eine Bratpfanne ins Appartment gebracht (die Küchenausstattung ist etwas spartanisch, aber wenn man ab und zu essen geht, kann man sich ganz gut selbst verpflegen). Die Lage des Hotels außerhalb des Touristenzentrums haben wir als ruhig und sehr positiv empfunden. Einziger kleiner Kritikpunkt: auf dem Balkon roch es ab und zu unangenehm nach Jauche.

Life is easy and good at this hotel.

Great place to stay for families. The employees does a great work to make sure the guests have a nice stay, they are very friendly.
We (2 adults with one child) had a small apartment room with a small kitchen. We missed to make some coffee at the room.
The hotel is very nice, the food is great. Life is easy and good at this hotel. Recommended.

No air conditioning (until later in the summer?)

NO AIR-CONDITIONING! Only heat. Way to hot to sleep. The staff did not know that the air was not on and kept us hanging believing it would be fixed. Turns out some spannnish guests were cold at night so they left the heat on instead of telling them to put some blankets on. They told us (mother with two little kids) to sleep with the door open. I said that anyone could then just walk in from the other rooms. They believed that since it was a family friendly hotels, that none of their several hundreds of guests were capable of committing any crime. The last two nights we got an old, rusty floor fan. Just one. I paid for air-conditioning and got an old and rusty floor fan...
The hotel was nicely placed by the beach. No coffe maker in the little kitchen. Nice, big pool that had not been cleaned in a while. Nice with an indoor pool as well. The \"gym\" was just consisting of some cardio equippement.
Buffet dinner that was pretty good but they ran out of stuff without replacing it. I recommend the pizza place next door. Good food and good service! They had more than just Pizza.
Would not go there again unless they can guarantee that the air conditioning is on.

Hôtel familial au bord de la plage

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cet hôtel. Majorque en avril est une expérience à renouveler car peu de monde à cette période. Dans l’établissement, surtout des familles avec de jeunes enfants pour lesquels tout est bien pensé. L'animation pour les petits était super, la journée comme le soir. L'hôtel donne sur une plage magnifique. Nous connaissions déjà Alcudia et souhaitions y retourner. Nous n'avons pas été déçus en arrivant là-bas.
Nous étions en tout compris et n'avons pas regretté avec des petits. Nous nous sommes régalés, matin, midi, goûter et soir. Les buffets sont très variés (souvent du poisson, tant mieux) et il y a une partie grill avec un thème chaque jour. Cerise sur le gâteau, un coin bio matin et soir! Le personnel est vraiment sympathique, autant au bar, au restau, qu'à l’accueil... Pareil pour le personnel de ménage, discrètes et efficaces. Les chambres (ou plutôt les appartements au vu de la taille!!!) sont top! Nous avions une grande chambre pour les parents, un salon spacieux avec canapé-lit pour les enfants, un coin cuisine, de nombreux rangements et une terrasse. L'ensemble avec une déco chic et contemporaine. Juste une chose à dire, le côté où nous étions situés dans l'établissement était assez sombre, du coup, nous n'avons jamais vraiment profité de notre terrasse toujours à l'ombre. Les serviettes sont restées toujours humides...dommage. Mais vraiment, c'était peu de chose comparativement au reste!

Hotel schön gelegen sehr ruhig trotz vieler Kinder Essen hervorragend viel Auswahl , wellnesbereich gross, nur bei den Zimmern könnte eine Tür vor dem Bad ,wc sehr hilfreich sein .

Après le petit-déjeuner, balades en voiture pour découvrir les principaux sites touristiques, puis dîner à l'hôtel.... sauf le dernier jour.... réservé à la farniente !

Heerlijke week. Eten was prima, voor ieder wat wils elke dag anders. De kamers waren nieuw en frisse kleuren. Alleen de bedbank..hemel wat een gammel bed. Matras veels te dun. Voor kinderen misschien wel geschikt.
Rustige omgeving, bij het strand, zwembaden voor elke leeftijden en taxi en bus om de hoek.
Tip. Neem all inclusive. Het keukentje is een triest keukentje. Daar kan geen lekkere maaltijd uit komen.

Prettig hotel in fijne omgeving

Hotel ligt wat ons betreft aan de juiste kant van het eiland. Mooie omgeving met behoorlijk wat bezienswaardigheden in de directe omgeving. (auto noodzakelijk) Kamers zijn prima wat betreft de inrichting. Wel ontzettend gehorig en aangezien het hotel voornamelijk bezet werd door Duitse gasten met heel veel kleine kinderen (0-4jaar) was dit niet prettig. We hebben ivm overlast om een andere, wat rustiger gelegen, kamer gevraagd. Dat was overigens geen probleem. Ontbijtbuffet vrij eentonig. Hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van de all-inclusive formule. Mooi strand, bedjes/parasol niet gratis. Rond het zwembad prima vertoeven, zwembadwater te koud in mei. Voor een weekje relaxen in mei een prima onderkomen......

Wir kommen nicht wieder

Das Hotel ist grundsätzlich in Ordnung, jedoch gibt es einige negative Aspekte:
- jeweils abends roch es sehr streng nach Abwasser, was sowohl das Abendessen auf der Terrasse beeinträchtigte als auch verunmöglichte, abends das Fenster zu öffnen. Es stank während zwei Stunden regelrecht
- das Essen war aus unserer Sicht unter dem Durchschnitt eines 4-Sterne Hotels. Es war sehr fettig, wenig Geschmack, das Gemüse häufig verkocht und das Fleisch zäh. Schade auch, das die Cherrytomaten am Kinderbuffet nicht oder nur sehr mangelhaft abgewaschen wurden. Der Frühstücksspeck bestand zu 99,9% aus Fett, auch das geht besser.
- der indoorpool ist sehr (fast zu) kalt und die Umrandung sehr rutschig. Warm ist der Pool des SPA, jedoch haben Kinder unter fünf Jahren hier keinen Zutritt.

Die Kinderbetreuung ist super, die Animateure sind mit Herzblut dabei! Vielen Dank an das Team!

Sehr schön, wenn auch sehr touristisch, ist der Strand. Liegen und Sonnenschirm sind jedoch kostenpflichtig und mit knapp 12 € pro Tag fürs Budget relevant.

Schönes,renoviertes Hotel direkt am Strand

Das Hotel liegt direkt am wunderschönen Strand. Die Zimmer sind komplett neu renoviert. Das Hotel wird überwiegend von Familien gebucht.In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es einige Geschäfte. Zum Bummeln kann man mit dem Bus nach Can Picafort oder Alcudia fahren. das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. der Garten ist wunderschön,
