Clean room, nice spa, very nice staff! I was especially thankful for the General Manager who was so kind to us. We tried to pay for parking on the way out and she was taking care of the front desk while her employee was somewhere else. She could not ring us up and just gave us a ticket to get out. She didn’t make us wait and was very kind.

As the hotel is situated in a business area there is nowhere walkable to eat so was forced to use the hotel restaurant. The staff were excellent and the food was delicious and reasonably priced.
Upon first impressions the room was lovely but unfortunately after returning to it after dinner found that neither the kettle nor the fridge were in working order. The shower head fixture was broken so could not be altered in either height or angle - luckily there was a bath but made it a bit difficult to wash my hair.
I did pop down to reception to request a kettle but was told they were all locked away for the night. At the same time I reported the other room defects- I was offered another room but at 10pm I did not feel like moving all my luggage so had to do without my cup of tea. ( would have been nice if they had sent one up via room service)
A hotel of this standard should be checked regularly and should not have all these faults in one room.
If passing through again I would probably stay again but would check all the amenities to make sure they were working before I unpacked..

The “suite” had two rooms, but the second room was really an office with chairs and a desk rather than a living-room seating area, which was not that convenient. It was also located near the three lifts / elevators, so we had that noise in the evenings and early mornings (before 0600 as many guests had to get to work).

This was our stop on the way from London to Austria. Very good location (close to motorway) and a huge car park.
Hotel and rooms could do with fresh decor but everything was clean.

This is a very nice property. It’s in kind of an industrial area but otherwise nice. The Hotel itself is clean, bright & well cared for. The rooms are of good size & well equipped with all the niceties including a fridge which if very good to have. The hotel also supplies complimentary bottles of water (carbonated & non carbonated). I’f your in the area & looking for a nice hotel, this is it.

Nice hotel near Ettingen, a great little town and only a 30 minute ride to Baden-Baden. The price was great and the rooms were large. Only complaint, small pillows, otherwise great choice.

Very nice modern hotel with very clean rooms. The showers in the room are spa-like. The gym is also very nice and offers besides the machines sauna and steam bath. Also the service was impeccable.

Good hotel but a bit out of the way. Surprised about the cost of car parking, particularly as you can only get to the hotel by car. The food in the Bistro was very good albeit a limited menu. The waitress was very friendly and helpful.

I was a bit dubious on the approach to the hotel - next to a busy motorway, on an industrial estate, nothing else around - but was pleasantly surprised how great this place was. Huge, well decorated, very clean rooms. My daughters even described it as “posh”! There are two restaurants on site but we didn’t use either of them although the menus sounded nice. We also didn’t stay for breakfast as we had a very early start. We ventured to nearby Karlsruhe for food in the evening and a walk round so the hotel was in fact, very well placed for that. I would definitely recommend and if we come back to the area, we would stay here. Room rates were very good.

Good sized comfortable rooms, good service make this a nice stay. Room service choice is limited and one bar/restaurant in the hotel. Other restaurants are a around a 50 Euro round trip away, so this is a better place if you have a car.

Ok hotel just off the motorway with parking. Only problem I had was given a single bed in a twin room so at 107 euros B&B i thought it was over priced. Asked reception if there was a double available was told this was a standard room.

Stopped here to meet some friends from Karlsruhe it's a great modern hotel just off the main routes but looks like it's in the middle of a industrial estate

Modern hotel in Ettlingen that has reasonably good air conditioning. It was in the high 80's (F) during my stay and the room was as cold as I liked (which is about 71F). Nice bar. Large breakfast spread (extra $$$).

Reception was incredibly slow and then tried to charge me for something I had already paid for (extra bed). Did not go for the breakfast as very expensive - there is a McDonald's and supermarket/petrol station a 3 minute drive up the road.

Alright for a night
Unfortunately I underestimated the noise that would come from the outside. It's nice to see a redecorated hotel - the rooms look like the picture looking forward. However as soon as you turn around and see the wardrobe and minibar it becomes clear that they could've and in my opinion should've done the whole room and not just half. While it was a nice stay and we appreciated the spa area it wasn't quite so great to be woken up by housekeeping at 8am on a weekend who afterwards came around knocking every 10 minutes.

Good quality but fairly sterile business hotel very conveniently situated for the motorway network. If driving this is a better choice than staying in Karlsruhe centre which is a bit of a building site at the moment. Service was slow for a hotel of this standard and food was standard fodder - nothing special. Rooms and beds were very good quality. A hotel for a short stay only.

Quiet business hotel
A pretty nice hotel. It's a little out of the way from tourist spots but if you are driving it is not really a problem. It has a small pool which is perfect for cooling down because although the hotel advertises air conditioning, it does not work. The restaurant, although pricey, has tremendous service. Attila took care of my family each evening and provided exceptional and professional service.

Great value for a Saturday night in a very comfortable business/conference hotel with excellent service, good well priced food and indoor pool/sauna. Position on a quiet cul de sac but next to a motorway interchange so always a traffic hum with the window open. Sleep interrupted by departing party guests in the early hours. Fridge not at temperature spoiling our milk and soap dispenser ran out mid shower. Charging for surface parking on an out of town location a bit unusual. Good wifi.

Stayed for 3 nights and it was a very relaxing stay indeed. The hotel was very clean and tidy, with a calming atmosphere. Its stated that it boasted a gym which i found rather laughable, 2 exercise bikes and a rower. This could be improved upon. But the meals were excellent and the beer was superb along with the breakfast. So overall this was a good hotel. One only drawback was its not near anything to walk to so you need a car or you like a good hike to the nearest pub etc...!! Also a minor gripe i did not have a kettle in my room, Speaking of the room, it was clean tidy and very pleasant couldnt grumble at all. would recommend it to anybody.

Der Check-in war direkt ein schlechter Start. Der Mitarbeiter an der Rezeption war mehr mit seinem Handy beschäftigt als mit uns. Kein freundlicher Empfang, keine Infos zu Frühstück, Spa oder Fitness – einfach nichts.
Unsere Zimmerkarten haben jeden Tag Probleme gemacht, sodass wir mehrfach wieder zur Rezeption mussten. Eine Entschuldigung? Fehlanzeige. Die Karten wurden kommentarlos ausgetauscht.

Die Sauna wirkt relativ neu, aber das Konzept ist fragwürdig: Gäste, die in den Fitnessbereich wollen, laufen durch den Nacktbereich. Durch die großen Glasflächen fühlt man sich zudem schnell beobachtet – unangenehm.
Fazit: Für uns keine Wiederholung. Dafür gibt es in der Umgebung bessere Optionen.

Lediglich im Bad war das Wasser sowohl in der Dusche als auch am Waschbecken extrem schwer bis unmöglich zu regulieren. Es schwankte zwischen sehr heiß (zu heiß) und kalt. In der Dusche war der Wasserstrahl auch extrem schwach, zu schwach um vernünftig duschen zu können.
Vielleicht ein Problem dieses speziellen Zimmers und kann repariert werden.
Ansonsten war alles super, Checkin, Checkout, Parken, Frühstück... nichts weiter zu beanstanden.
Insgesamt eine klare Empfehlung !

Receptionist Claudio was friendly at check-in, and we got a nice room.
Receptionist Simon was very service-minded and, together with his colleague from Estonia, should be praised for being helpful in investigating various questions we had about parking, the area and a trip to Strasbourg.
Negative experiences:
After the first night, we found a small animal in the bed, and we were upset about that.
Cleaning the edges behind the bed rail by the light panel was not done properly.
We complained about it to Simon, who sent extra cleaning and offered free parking.
At the entrance to the hotel, ashtrays are set up, so smoking hotel guests stand on both sides when you pass by. My husband has asthma, and we are both non-smokers, and therefore it is very unpleasant to have to go through cigarette smoke when you enter the hotel.
We would suggest that you move the smoking area to another place than at the entrance to the hotel. Attached pictures for information. Kind regards from two hotel guests
