We love love loved it

This place was amazing. The shuttles into town were super convenient (2 euro each way). There are lots of different options, we had the superior bungalow with a sea view. And wow, waking up to the volcano and sea every morning was breathtaking. We loved walking down to the sea and swimming. This place has camping vibes, it’s not a “luxury” place, but it was very clean and you’re surrounded by beauty. For nature lovers, this place is amazing

Nice place in a camping spot with trees and the view of the mountains and sea. The chalets are well equipped and parking is available. Transportation every 30 minutes to downtown for 2 euros . The beach looks nice but there is no opinion to stay without renting a chair , no sand , everything is Roch, but the swimming pool is included and nice. The restaurant is really good and expensive. There is also a convenience store that has almost everything.

Overall a good stay. Apartment was as described although we would have preferred a bunk bed as it meant the sofa bed had to be pulled out and put away every night (although not a massive issue in the grand scheme of things). Apartment offered enough to allow us to cook for ourselves each night which saves money.

Enjoyed the two “beaches” which are accessible from the site. Not beaches in the traditional sense but good access to the beach and the kids loved jumping into the sea off the rocks. Nice little beach bar by one of the beaches.

Pool area was a nice bonus but saturated with sunbeds. It’s a shame you have to pay for sunbeds as it only seems worth it if you are going to spend a couple of hours there.

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The restaurant was nice but seemed to be out of keeping with the rest of the accommodation as it was very expensive considering this was more “budget style” accommodation.

Overall a good stay and good accommodation which offered what we wanted.

Mattress on the bed was not in good shape.

The lodges were very compact, however there was a lot of outdoor space. Decent bathroom with large shower. Decent AC and beds were comfortable although the bunks are not quite full length so teenagers couldn’t sleep stretched out.
The onsite facilities were good and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. Really good breakfast. Pool was nice (must wear swimming hat) and beach was great but would recommend surf shoes as protection for climbing over the rocks. Shame there was a large fee for using sun beds on the beach. There was a shuttle bus (€2 per person) we were happy to walk, although there is only pavement part of the way and it is a steep climb back to the site (just over 1km from main drag). Overall a really pleasant stay and would recommend.

Average place to stay

We stayed in a superior bungalow. On the positive side the accommodation was clean with a good shower and the outside area was lovely however the bungalow was really tiny with only a 2 ring hob and no workspace. The pool was good and although there is no beach we were able to swim in the sea.

However the campsite is built into the side of a cliff so there are a lot of hills and steps. There is a shuttle bus to Sorrento which costs 2 euros each way. This meant each trip cost our family of 4 16 euros which soon mounted up over our 9 night stay. The bus only runs twice an hour and was often crowded. The evening before we checked out we were told we could not pre-book the bus with our luggage and the next morning we were told the bus was full as some people had already bought tickets. This was despite us being there 20 mins before the bus left and their stated policy of only selling tickets 5-10 mins before the bus left. Staff were generally not very helpful. Also, you can only pay by card on site which is tricky if their internet goes down as it did during our stay. We had prepaid for wifi but this was only for 4 devices (we had 8) and you could not switch between them. There is a shop but it was very small and overpriced.

Overall our stay was ok but I felt the extra costs such as the bus and wifi made it more expensive than was justified. If you have your own transport or don't mind the travel to Sorrento it's an ok place to stay.

We paid for a Superior Bungalow for Sea View and there was no sea view. It was not the photos advertised at all. The trees were so over grown you couldnt see the sea. After the site refusing to move us or refund us the additional for the view on day 2 of our holiday we moved Bungalow. Although this Bungalow had a much better view it was the bungalow itself was worse. The hob was rusted and hanging off, there was a large crack in the bathroom mirror, paint coming off and cracks in the bedroom walls, black mould in the bedroom corners and no sofa bed like we'd had in the first bungalow. I struggle to see what is 'superior' about the space. I wouldnt say it was worth the price we had paid. The site itself was great, the shop well stocked and a good pool. The Restaurant had a good menu and good food however staff were incredibly slow despite only serving 4 tables at the time, they gave us arancini on the house as a starter and told us it was vegetarian, it wasn't. Which is majorly concerning given allergies etc. The beach was very disappointing as despite being advertised as part of the site you then had to pay extra per sunbed and the rocks were not the nicest to sit on if you didnt wish to pay. The shuttle into town was great. Overall site facilities were good , however rooms were poor and weren't value for money we felt.

The location was scenic. Had some beautiful views of the bay. Very quiet. It’s a fairly large area. You will need the map they have at reception. On site restaurant was fabulous. On site store has plenty of options. Check their hours of operation. They have multiple washer and dryer locations. You will need scan the QR code and most likely have to go to
Reception to get a little more details. They have a shuttle to and from Sorrento reasonably prices runs about every 30 min. You can walk to Sorrento in about 20 min. It is a little tight seeing part of the walk there are no sidewalks. There is another restaurant on the way to Sorrento about 150meters from the campground on the right which also has great food.
All in all it was a very good experience.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Room would have benefited with a place to hang towels.

Another inconvenience was the room had very few outlets. There were 3, but one was connected to the air-conditioner, another one was up high for the hair dryer, the third was 4 feet off the ground with no shelf to hold a phone. I'm glad we took our long cords because they were just long enough to reach the floor. The mini store on site did have extension cords for 14 euro, so that would have worked too.

One more thing, it rained really hard while we were there. The really hard rain would come and go, and when it was really hard, a small drip leaked water in the middle of the bed (Luna room). We put down a poncho and a towel to soak it up or we would have had a wet bed.

Staff didn’t assist in getting the luggage to the reception during check out despite personally requesting the same multiple times. Terrible, terrible, terrible experience. Our beds were literally infested with bedbugs and when it was brought to the attention of staff they accused us of lying to get a refund (even went as far as to call me broke). We then had to show the manager to our room where MULTIPLE were spotted which he denied seeing, THEN when we pointed one out specifically he killed it in front of our own eyes and said there was nothing there. the manager was incredibly unprofessional, very rude and was incredibly hostile towards us younger girls. We even showed other staff that agreed they were bedbugs but would remain silent when asked in front of management. This manager was the rudest man I’ve ever had the misfortune of meeting, even threatened us with a lawsuit. SAVE YOUR MONEY! DO NOT BOOK HERE!

ve -The site was great with an excellent pool and the little beach is excellent. The on site restaurant is great value and the shuttle into Sorrento was good value, reliable and good quality.

-ve - The bungalow was just too small and not great quality. The Aircon was average at best. It was hot when we went and if that's the case you just have nowhere to escape the heat at your accomodation. For this reason I wouldn't recommend in height of summer for the bungalow.

Very nice facility, great restaurant- definitely get the breakfast buffet it is very good and good selection of items- and beautiful pool and private beach. Shuttle was very prompt and on schedule but be aware of scheduled times and pick up spot (it had changed from what the website said so initial time picking it up from town to get to the campground was difficult). Walked to town from campground a few times but shuttle was worth the 2 euros. Lots of the complaints on here are about the wifi so just be aware that you do have to pay for it and it doesn't work in all areas. But overall a great property with great amenities.

I have been there late August, beginning of September. The superior bungalow (Ciliegio) was nice and clean but the 3 of us founded very small. Great for a couple. Bathroom OK, spacious, powerful shower. It would have been helpful having a shelf on the sink. The door lock wasn't working. The pool was nice, remember you'll need a swimming cup for the pool. The loungers on the beach are not included and it will cost you 30 Euro which we didn't want to spend. A long way down also (300 step). The Camping is on top of the mountain. Very close to Sorrento. Shuttle bus for 1.50 Euro pp each way.

This is a great alternative to pricier hotel options but not for everyone as it is almost glam-ping. The access to private swimming (rock beach with our own chairs etc) and a pool is worth consideration. Our only issue and why we would not give it a 5 star is that the mobile cabins are very small and the beds are not great. You also have to buy cleaning supplies etc although their store has everything. Restaurant breakfast is not bad and worth it potentially but dinner was very poor compared to so many other great options around Sorrento. Getting there may be a challenge for new arrivals as the taxis charge 30 euros for a 5 minute trip - bus is much cheaper but can be busy. Once you are there you can access their shuttle to town and back for a few euros. Also the gym is private so don't expect to work out. In all having our own access to the ocean was worth it for a few days while saving some $$.

This property was fairly well maintained. Our little family bungalow was tiny with just enough room for 4 beds, bathroom, and small kitchenette. The shower was wonderful. The pool was good. The beach was very difficult to access, but provded some good snorkeling (need your own gear.) Local taxis are very expensive and walking is very difficult to and from the property. There is a resort shuttle, but check the times and it only goes to town, so is not helpful for getting to ferry port or train sation. The market and restaurant on site were good and very affordable.

Lovely place. Location was a bit out of Sorrento, walkable up a hill in 40 mins but this also meant it was quiet and out of the busy and noisy town!! Stunning views across the bay. We had a superior bungalow which was perfect for us, nice bathroom and kitchenette. Restaurant was very nice and breakfast was good each morning. Reception were very good and helped us with public transport when the shuttle bus wasn’t running (frustratingly all afternoon). We even booked an excursion through the hotel and an accident blocked the road off but they reorganised us to go on another boat and catch up with our boat! If we visit Sorrento again, we will def go back there as it was such good value and a lovely location. My only minor complaints, the toilet was v noisy and there were a lot of bugs around the pool. Neither of these affected our holiday.

The staff were rude and not helpful at all. We stayed for 4 nights and requested additional towels and were told we either have to rent or buy them. You need to buy swim caps to go in the pool. Had to buy specific masks to go on the shuttle even though we had proper masks. The rooms were super small and beds were as hard as a rock.

Overall, we had a disappointing experience.

A very enjoyable week at Santa Fortunata

A very enjoyable week in one of the bungalows. Sorrento is a lovely place and we would definitely go back. The site is just beyond Sorrento itself - you could walk to the town in around 30 mins but the roads have no pavements. There is a shuttle bus to and from Sorrento which was extremely useful. Booked taxis are ok if expensive and not always reliable though as we found on our last day when we missed our ferry. The site has some lovely views of the bay and we were treated to a sight of the Amerigo Vespucci whilst we were there. There are great facilities for those in motor homes and caravans - shop, washing machines, etc. The restaurant was excellent, with good gluten free options - cannot fault the staff who were so helpful and attentive. Swimming pool was clean and well attended with lots of beds and chairs. Slightly odd arrangement whereby trips organised by the campsite had to be paid in cash rather than card, so we arranged our own but that was easily done. The site was originally an olive farm, so the environment is peaceful. It’s very hilly, which was fine for us but could be an issue for those who are not fit. The site was clean but looks a little in need of tlc. Cellular signal is weak so purchased wifi was a must. The big plus is the staff who were unfailingly courteous, cheerful and helpful.

Good place for family and kids, our plan was a little different but still was nice to stay here. The cabins are fully equipped, kitchen, huge AC, cute little private bathroom, and beds.

A lot of deck space to eat outside with friends and family, nice view of the ocean with a lot of olive trees everywhere.

The only complaint is that the place has a lot of rules, which is not bad but they were too much sometimes. Also the pool and beach close too early and open too late. So the window to enjoy it is tight if you also want to enjoy Sorrento o Amafi Cost.

No wifi, my heart broke because I am a tourist with no reception depending only on the wifi, and pay for it seems a bit to much more if you are already paying for your stay. BUT I wasn't impress due to the expensive that is everything in the area (sorrento, positano, amalfi, capri)

Due to Covid you have to wear a swimming cap to get in the pool even if you are not swimming and just chilling inside the pool. Other rule that seems too much.

I didnt try the dinner at the restaurant but we had couple drinks and a lemon cake that was super good.

Quite, lots of nature, cozy cabin, well equipped. If you are in a family plan this is the perfect place.

Bare bones stay in Sorrento

This place is very bare bones and the listing is a bit misleading about the complicated amenities on site. The location is manageable thanks to the shuttle bus, but unfortunately we found the shuttle rarely accounts for the demand which can leave one stranded in the town of Sorrento for extended periods of time (we waited 2 hours one evening to get back due to demand for the shuttle.) The amenities were null; no soap or trashcan! There is a stove, but you’ll need matches or a lighter to use it (not provided by the establishment). The saving grace was the beach which guests are able to access throughout the day. Wonderful beach access for Sorrento. Be prepared to bring your own supplies, get a on onsite “credit card” that you are required to use at all facilities (you must load with cash—thought we saw people purchasing items with cash and card, so push back on this! It seems silly), no A/C, and to be patient with the shuttle system (the walk is long to town and dangerous; cabs will run you around 25€ one way).

I stayed on the campsite about 10 years ago and had happy memories. Returned for 4 nights in a mobile home. Pretty basic but did the job. The grounds are lovely and the views out to sea are stunning. Would return. It’s a rustic place with a nice pool and clean shower facilities and a chilled out vibe. Staff friendly and helpful.

Property has great views wait staff at restaurant are cordial Steph at front desk very confusing never told us there was a three hour break between shuttles I am handicapped and had to walk after waiting an hour and a half all the way back from town with very narrow sidewalks also had to pay €40 for a taxi when there is a shuttle every hour but their Internet has been down since we got here and they found also does not work so we were not able to call ahead for shuttle pick up at airport and had to lay out money for a bus before taxi overall they don’t give you enough information I shouldn’t of had to walk back from town no one told us about the break From 2 to 5 PM

After reading reviews before booking I was a bit unsure of what to expect. I did not need to be worried!! Oir accommodation was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The view across the bay was spectacular. The girls on reception could not have been more helpful, they were friendly and always happy to find information for us when we asked questions. The site is cashless and a card is provided that you preload with money and top up as needed. *one point to note is that you have to top up with cash - they do not accept debit or credit cards - there is a cash machine next to reception so that you can easily withdraw cash to top up with. The shuttle bus runs on time and is handy for getting to the town in about 10 mins. The site is quite steep and I imagine that could be a problem to those less mobile. We were offered a lift on arrival and departure on a golf buggy when we had our cases. I really can't fault our stay and would definitely go back again!

The place was nice and clean. Rooms were excellent. But the staff was quite unfriendly, and the WiFi had to be paid for and still didn’t work at our bungalow. I would stay again for the location and nice clean bungalows.

Great price for Sorrento. We stayed in one of the trailers and it was cozy but perfectly adequate. The towels were a little lacking and we never bought anything in the shop or restaurant but found the whole resort card for payment scheme to be a little off putting.

Definitely not the 4-Star beach resort as described on the listing but we had guessed that from the pictures. We stayed in a basic bungalow which was big enough for two and had pots/pans etc. but everything else is being your own even soap and a sponge to do the dishes. The pool is nice and the beach a great place to cool off. About a 15-20 minute walk into Sorrento. For the price compared to other places in Sorrento I would stay again but book the bungalow with aircon.

September break near Sorrento

We enjoyed our stay. The ‘bungalow’ was clean and the bedroom benefited from softer wall lights. The restaurant on site is surprisingly good for main meals as well as their buffet breakfast service. Boat trips from the rocky ‘beach’ are highly recommended. Access to Sorrento is easy using the 1 euro shuttle from reception. Our one criticism is about noisy neighbours. We had boisterous teenagers on a group vacation in the surrounding accommodation and they were loud well into the night. This may be the risk you take in this type of accommodation of course. So armed with ear plugs would we stay there again? Absolutely
