Very convenient for access to both Airport and Port Everglades for cruises. Free shuttle from airport and availability to book a cruise shuttle from hotel. We came in early and were able to change, store bags and hang out til time to board cruise.
Stayed the night here post cruise. Again, very convenient although rooms were older and a little noisy.

Breakfast area was not well attended to, in 2 days, not able to find a clean table, no safe in room, which is something I would have expected as the elevator is open to the public rather than being card activated.
These points are for information only, and not huge enough of a complaint to stop us from coming back.
Staff was quiet, but polite. Didn’t take the time to sell us on what they had to offer, bar service etc, didn’t offer wifi passwords or tell us anything about the pool.

The overall experience was good. The shuttle person was nice getting us from the airport to hotel and th front desk man. Beds were nice and comfy.

The floors turned did our feet dark so they may need a good clean :/ but other then that it was good.

This location is great for pre/post cruise. Lots of restaurants and shopping within walking distance.
Airport shuttle is available. Just call after you retrieve your luggage and the driver will tell you where to wait for pickup. The hotel is about 5-10 minutes from the hotel with mild traffic.
The staff were nice and pleasant.
Hotel room was clean, plenty of towels. Breakfast is included, a nice variety.

Shuttle from airport and hotel were horrible. I called the hotel before arrival and they couldn’t provide basic information such as Ground level transportation between columns D-G. By the time they arrived, our van was full and others had been waiting 45 minutes. This hotel is pricey and I thought the service would be better. The shuttle to the port was also late and disorganized. On the bright side, the pick up from the port was great. Pete was a good driver and professional. Very surprising this hotel runs like this as a port hotel. Room was nice and breakfast ok.

The front desk staff were friendly and helpful at check-in and our room was very spacious with a separate sitting area.

Ground transport from the airport was full twice around. After 40 minutes people got tired of waiting and angrily got in taxis to the Hyatt. We were warned that the next morning we might not make it to the cruise port on time so we rented uber. Also free breakfast was awful. No waffles. Just terrible eggs.

When I arrived it was cold. My room apparently didn’t have heat. There’s a thermostat on the wall that didn’t seem to do anything. I checked the heating/cooling unit by the window and it wouldn’t produce heat. I crawled under the covers and stayed warm.
The pickup at FFL-waited an hour and six calls before a van arrived. The other van that says Hyatt Place wouldn’t take us. They deliver to a different Hyatt Place. It was cold and windy.

Staff were nice, breakfast was adequate but breakfast room is too small with not enough tables. Room was disappointing for the price of £180 per night. Rooms need renovating, bath was stained, mattress on both beds were terrible. Sink in the room instead of bathroom makes everyone wake up if you get up in the night, as you have to turn the light on. Would not stay here again.

The hotel rooms were spotless, the hot breakfast was excellent, and the staff were consistently courteous and welcoming. Scheduling the shuttle to the port was easy, and it was right on time. It wasn’t quite what we were expecting, but honestly, it turned out to be a good experience. This is more of a boutique hotel with outdoor entries to rooms that’s upscale compared to what you would experience in a motel-type vibe. Room was spacious and the bed was really comfortable - our only downfall was that there was a weird smell and that the seal around the door was broken.

Hotel has a great location in downtown Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood, short walking distance to Publix, restaurants and more. Close uber ride to Hollywood Beach, and complimentary rides to & from the airport.

1/29 UPDATE: Like most hotels, The Harrison requires you put a credit card down for any incidentals and once you check out, you’ll be refunded the full amount. Fake news. We noticed the charge still showing on our statement and when we spoke with the hotel, we were told that we’ll only be refunded a partial amount of our $152 because the other part of it goes toward the complimentary breakfast, the pool, the complimentary shuttle and the gym. None of this was disclosed on their website or while we were checking in. This should be included in the booking fee, rather than the incidentals/damages. Because of this, I changed my review on Google and Hotels.com.
