Hotel is outdated, hallways dark and automatic lights don’t turn on at the right time so you are walking in the dark for longer than appropriate. This hotel is not located close to anything (on the highway), no restaurants or shops. Choose something closer to airport or closer to the city.

Booked the rooms with Mountains view on Hotel.com and the upgrade rooms not the confort one ( paid €378 for 2 rooms with breakfast for 2 persons) to find out that this tipe of rooms don’t actually have Mountain View’s.
According to them the advert is not true so ended up with a nice parking of the hotel view.
I try to contact Hotels.com but no joy so if anyone sees this please contact me.

The property was good size rooms, cleans and good views, decent breakfast.

The biggest issue is the location. From Geneva city center, if you don’t have a car - needs 2 bus and one tram transfer.
Another issue was no AC rooms. The weather was great and we didn’t needed any but still will have liked AC rooms

I had to pay $160 euros for room without a/c , when it says clearly on the ad description that a/c is included like all 4 stars hotel , wifi is really bad in the rooms , breakfast could be better … and just for coming from geneve to the French border I was charged 60 euros for a 20 min taxi trip … really? Not again

Location is very good. The room is excellent, in terms if amenities one of the best, fi not the best I stayed. I would give it a perfect score, except that (a) wi-fi is shaky (b) the thermostat was not (or was not supposed to) working. One can operate the heating/ventilation only manually and the heating was excessive.

Summers in this area are often hot. There was no air-conditioning in the room. It was impossible to sleep or to stay in the room in general. Also, although smoking is not officially allowed, nobody enforces it, people were smoking en mass on the balconies, we could not open windows. The overall level of noise is high. Kitchenettes are good. Personal was friendly.

This hotel could have been OK, but it was hot and the air conditioning id not work. I and a colleague also staying there asked for this to be fixed each day and it was still not working after a week when we left.Very uncomfortable sleeping with door to balcony open to try to cool down!

Great hotel, I really like it.
My only criticism is that the parking in the front is very badly designed and could hold more cars than it does.
Customers get frustrated trying to park in the evening and there is no parking on the road.
There is parking underneath the hotel, but you have to pay for it!

The front desk employees were all very helpful and friendly. We had a small problem with the room, which the manager rectified immediately. Also, my husband had a medical problem and the manager assisted in getting that resolved. She really went above and beyond the usual level of hotel support. My only disappointment was that the website advertised an airport shuttle, but the shuttle was not running and they don't know when they'll start it up again.

Good hotel, but not perfect

Nice hotel with a small \"kitchen\" with stovetop, microwave, mini-refrigerator, and dishwasher. The room is nicely decorated and the view is great for some rooms, less so for others. Location is good if you have a car. Stayed here before. Upgrade to better rooms if possible. Some problems with this stay: WiFi going in and out for the week and half and there was an odor in the bathroom. Note: housecleaning comes once a week so you have to stay long enough for them to come while you are there. Some of the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful.

Breafast could be improved (when we arrived at 9.45 am, it was a bit chaotic and there was not much left to eat but we di manage to get breafst even if we had to wait a bit longer than we would have liked

This room was amazing. So efficiently organized with a great little kitchen that had everything we needed. The location was beautiful but out of the way (unless you have a car, which we didn't), so make sure you call ahead (24 hours) if you need their airport shuttle. Staff was friendly and helpful, but did not speak any English.

The hotel is very good . We called them about 3 weeks before trip. Someone told us they have shuttle every 20 minutes to and from Geneva airport. When we arrived there was no shuttle. Waited 2 hours.finally had to call them and were told for shuttle we had to call them 24 hours before. We paid 50 CHF for Taxi to go to the hotel from Geneva Airport.
Hotel staff were polite and sympathetic and in order to compensate, they gave us complementry breakfast.
Overall it is a very good hotel andwe will go back there.

Diamond benefits not useable with Hotel.com reserv

Don't book through hotel.com if you want points and have status with best western. I am a diamond status and this is the only hotel that has not let me have free breakfast because I booked through hotels.com The hotel and staff were nice but it looks like they could have made an exception since i book through hotel.com and get benefits at best westerns all over Europe. The wifi barely worked. They had no ice in the whole hotel during a very hot day.

It was a nice and spacious room. It is a very easy drive to Geneva airport and a short walk to a village with many nice restaurants. There is a beautiful of the mountains and fields of poppies (when we were there).

I have two complaints

1. The wireless was not very reliable. Tough to check directions, etc.

2. The room was advertised with a mountain view and a balcony. I thought this was too good to be too true considering the price of the room. And it was. The room had neither a view nor a balcony.

We read some negative reviews just before we stayed here so we’re a little worried. However we had an excellent stay and would recommend the hotel. The staff are a true asset to the hotel very friendly and could not do enough for you. The hotel is over the French border but it’s only about a ten minute drive in the hotel transfer bus, this was a prompt and efficient service throughout our stay with a friendly efficient driver who offered lots of great advice. The hotel/room was clean. The breakfast provided was excellent. There is a town about a ten minute walk which has some lovely places to eat and drink. The tram at CERN takes you to the centre of Geneva in about 35mins. If your looking for a hotel with friendly staff and excellent service then book this hotel 😊

Top place for style and space

I loved this hotel. It was very quiet and peaceful and there was massive amounts of room for the price. My better half and I like to sleep apart so we like this type of aparthotel - she had a very comfortable night on the sofa bed and I got the spacious double bedroom. There was a nice balcony to sit out and enjoy the view of the nearby mountains. Breakfast was good. The whole room was stylishly decorated and very clean. Huge amounts of storage space. Oddly, there was no ironing board and iron. WiFi was fast for download but seemed very slow for upload. Be aware that there is a charge for using the underground parking if there is still space available at ground level (no, I don't understand that either) . Top tip - the coffee machine at breakfast is not easy to use so save yourself some time and ask the staff for help - the staff are really good at this hotel.

This is a great hotel with a delicious and extensive breakfast -nice and clean. The only thing to note is that it is in FRANCE not Switzerland -even though it shows up on searches for CERN. It IS very close to CERN but thank goodness we didn't rely on the hotel shuttle from the airport (we rented a car and it was great) because the shuttle doesn't run mid day. They offer nice pastiries at the desk all day and the the staff is very friendly and helpful. But your Swiss money won't work.

Parking is nice. Room is very spacious and has kitchinette nice. All ameneties inside room are nice. Cleanliness was not good. They could do better in room cleanliness and the corridors. If you are alergic like me you'll suffer!
Staff were the best we've met. Excellent communication and very helpful. They moved us to another room, but still couldnt handle alergy.

Clean, newer but it is not in Geneva, it is across the border in France!. The staff tried to get me to pay $10 (chf) for the free shuttle. Shuttle did not pick us up at scheduled times. One time we had to walk from Cern station to Thoiry and paid a local to drice rest of the way. There are No taxis in Thoiry and no Uber.

We thought this was an airport hotel. It waslocated a long way from airport. We were lucky to catch shuttle there but in am to go back to airport they said it must be prearranged 24 hours ahead. We got in late and left early. They did let us on shuttle but it was very unclear and checking in staff did not inform us.
We found desk staff less than helpful.

good hotel for an overnight stay.

The room was large and the bed comfortable, as was the shower. The buffet breakfast (which we paid for separately) was okay, although the price was a bit stiff. The distance to the airport was only 7 kilometers, but the traffic was awful when we left for the airport at around 8:30 am, and it took us nearly 30 minutes to reach the airport.
