This modern, elegant, family-run hotel offers breathtaking views of the mountains surrounding Innsbruck. Recently refurbished, it features a new sauna and fitness area.
Located west of Innsbruck, just 4km from the city center, the hotel is within walking distance of Innsbruck Airport (note: closed during night hours). The restaurant, featuring a winter garden and serving regional and international cuisine alongside a daily breakfast buffet, has varying hours (closed Sundays and Mondays; please check directly with the hotel).
Important information: An extra bed for a child is only provided in triple rooms. Only very small children (up to 3 years) can stay in a double room (in parents bed).

About a 20 minute “F” bus ride from the main Innsbruck station but worth it for the mountain view and quiet neighborhood. I enjoy these family run hotels. The staff were very personal and offered good recommendations. The hotel is modern and clean. The hotel also has a sauna, restaurant and bar for you to enjoy. It’s near the airport but the planes don’t fly late in the evening so it’s mostly quiet. That was a concern of mine but it was a pleasant stay overall.

Yes, it all did. The hotel is comfortable and clean. The views are good. Accessibility is amazing. You can walk to the airport. There's a bus (F route) into the center of Innsbruck which takes about 15 minutes. The bus runs every ten minutes to the stop by the hotel. The breakfast in the hotel is good and expansive - include it in your booking.

The food there was exceptional. My only issue with the room, was that there were no tea/coffee making facilities, but apart from that it's was excellent and a 5 minute walk from Innsbruck Airport.

We stayed one night at the hotel, our room was clean and spacious with clean and nice bathroom/toilet. Cleanliness is very important to us and this hotel lived fully up to our standard. Nice breakfast with different choices, you can ask for boiled egg or an omelette prepared for you, there was fresh fruit, different cereals, chees, and some sweet choices as well. Free parking space is close and with plenty of parking spaces. The city is around 10-15 min drive or you can take a but from outside of the hotel. All in all a good experience and will definitely stay here again.

The service is quite basic, but the room is clean and tidy, the facilities are working well other than that the phone in our room was not connected. There was no kettle in our room till I walk to reception and asked one, (as the phone is not working). Unfortunately mine had a mechanical fault at 3:30am and went up and then down on its own accord (apparently due to the weather I was told) which you cannot sleep through due to the noise. So my sleep was heavily compromised. The hotel apologised but with no offer for any compensation.

Don't just book for one night!
We hadn't actually intended on staying at the Penz West, but British Airways, in their finite wisdom decided to cancel our Saturday flight, rescheduling it for the following day.
Long story short - the Penz, being practically in the airport, was the ideal choice for our 'enforced' stay.
Well! What a wonderful, *wonderful* choice it was, too.
This hotel is \"just\" an airport-hotel... but it so isn't!
For starters, the room-rate is about the same as a mediocre B+B in the UK, but the UK's \"top\" hotels would struggle to come *anywhere near* this place for cleanliness!
The smartness and courtesy of the multi-lingual staff made you wish you'd booked for longer, taking advantage of their offer of hints and tips for a night out in Innsbruck.
The bar is small, immaculately maintained and kept by an incredibly well turned out chap, who was attentive, efficient, discreetly aware and everything you could wish for. He also took care of us in the restaurant!
The room was an utter joy.
Spotlessly clean (this IS Austria, after all) superbly slick and modern (the sliding, frosted-glass door to the bathroom was an instant hit with my Other Half!). The walk-in shower was massive, as was the mirror. The bed was extremely(!) comfortable, and the wardrobe contained a safe AND a small fridge.
When you stay, try and get a room facing the airport, for the view in the morning looking down the valley is quite simply beautiful!

Long story short - the Penz, being practically in the airport, was the ideal choice for our 'enforced' stay.
Well! What a wonderful, *wonderful* choice it was, too.
This hotel is \"just\" an airport-hotel... but it so isn't!
For starters, the room-rate is about the same as a mediocre B+B in the UK, but the UK's \"top\" hotels would struggle to come *anywhere near* this place for cleanliness!
The smartness and courtesy of the multi-lingual staff made you wish you'd booked for longer, taking advantage of their offer of hints and tips for a night out in Innsbruck.
The bar is small, immaculately maintained and kept by an incredibly well turned out chap, who was attentive, efficient, discreetly aware and everything you could wish for. He also took care of us in the restaurant!
The room was an utter joy.
Spotlessly clean (this IS Austria, after all) superbly slick and modern (the sliding, frosted-glass door to the bathroom was an instant hit with my Other Half!). The walk-in shower was massive, as was the mirror. The bed was extremely(!) comfortable, and the wardrobe contained a safe AND a small fridge.
When you stay, try and get a room facing the airport, for the view in the morning looking down the valley is quite simply beautiful!

There was a very rude male staff member on at night. No water in the sauna, and despite requesting water to be brought up, said staff member refused because it wasn’t busy enough. Agoda advertised that there was a hot tub, but there isn’t, so we were very disappointed. When we asked about a shuttle to the airport which is .6km from the hotel, the hotel tried to charge us 15 EUR for a 6 minute walk which is ridiculous. Overall, the hotel is extremely overpriced for what you get. Water in the rooms would have been nice too.

Nice hotel, decent sized room, nice and clean. The staff were very helpful. Dinner choice was quite limited but the breakfast was good. It is only about 500m from the airport which is why we chose this hotel. Would stay again if we needed a hotel next to the airport but it's definitely worth going to Innsbruck centre if you want some character etc!

My family loved everything about our overnight stay: from our check-in to check out. A cozy family room overlooking the mountain scenery, a surprised sumptuous breakfast that we thought was not included in our package, friendly and helpful receptionists who even lent us an umbrella and a bus station nearby. The hotel is very good but not centrally located if you are visiting Insbruk as a tourist and want to spend your time in down town. There is a bus line pretty close to the hotel, that made things a lot easier. You can buy your tickets on the bus, dom't waste your time trying to figure out the machine. People at the hotel reception did not know much about tourist attractions and could not recommend what to do, but everyone was very friendly. Breakfast is delicious!
