We loved our stay! Hotel is very charming and well appointed. The staff was very more knowledgeable about the city and activities. We could’ve stayed there for much longer and enjoyed every benefit. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and mountable. In the location of the hotel is ideal and proximity to the nut, museums, Palace, and public transport. We just left this hotel!

The staff were all super friendly and even hand delivered Christmas greetings with a present. ❤️🎄 This hotel is super central, with a lovely bar on the ground floor and a roof with a great view (no bar on the roof though). When we arrived they gave us a local travel card for free. Can’t recommend it enough.

I was astonished at the lack of cleaning in the room. The duvet covers weren’t changed. The bins weren’t emptied once in 5 days, bathroom surfaces weren’t wiped and neither were the sinks. Literally the duvet was folded in half, pillows plumped and towels replaced only if we’d put them in the bath. A couch blanket had fallen off and it was just left in a crumpled in a heap on the floor the whole time. Definitely no vacuuming took place either. Unexpected and unexplained.

We ordered an airport taxi the night prior to departure to ensure efficiency, double-checked in the morning prior to breakfast , and needless to say it hadn’t been ordered, so a call was placed whilst I stood there!

I enquired about coffee and snacks during the day as was told “ no, not here, you have to go outside” no offer of local information or guidance.


The breakfast was fab as was the room it was served in.


Good location in the old town, most staff were pleasant, but several were somewhat surly and customer service was lacking.

Shame really as it’s a quaint place with character.

Room comfortable, decor is a bit faded vs the photos shown on the app. Sauna is only available after 4pm which isn’t flexible if you want to take advantage of it after a morning training. My main disappointment: when you opt for ‘book and pay later’, the hotel pays itself immediately instead of on the day of arrival or departure. This should not be permitted.

Little gem near the old town

Positives - Great location, nice room, good WiFi, roomy bathroom with a great shower, wonderful breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, atmospheric building, service room with vending machines and washing facilities plus spare towels.
Minor quibbles- bathroom blinds did not guarantee privacy to the outside, curtains did not close properly due to missing hooks etc.
The overriding plus was the careful attention of the staff!

This hotel is located right next to the old town and is equisite. Each room is extremely charming and has maintained its years of history. The roof top area provides breathtaking views of the mountains. The room where the outstanding breakfast is served is like a medieval castle. The staff are very friendly and courteous. Hotel with great tradition

Perfect location - about 5 min walk to the old town. The building is very old, well renovated and modernized. Room was OK. When the shower was not used for a couple of hours unpleasant smell from the drainage was slightly disturbing. Air conditioning not effective even when switched on no air flow could be felt.

Our room was spacious and had a balcony. Seemed strange that there was no bottled water in the room - possibly obtainable from the 1st floor Service area - we never had time to check. Family stayed for a short trip to Innsbruck. The hotel is beautiful and has a lot of detail including a beautiful cellar where breakfast is served daily. There is a spa and sauna on the ground floor- we didn’t use but looked lovely. Convenient location to restaurants, shopping, hiking and ski lifts Nordkettenbahnen. The hotel is quite old and beautiful.

Nice hotel close to the centre of Innsbruck. Large, well appointed rooms and excellent bathrooms. Lovely breakfast area with a good range of foods available for breakfast. The lack of a spa reduces this to an average hotel for the area. I was disappointed to find on arrival that the spa was closed and had been for some time. Had I known the spa was closed I would have chosen an alternative hotel.

The hotel is lovely and the team is super friendly and happy to help. The room were warm and clean. I will probably add some water in the room and same decaf coffee but the rest was great!
