First room had a weird smell, piss on the toilet seat, toilet seat was broken, hair in the bed and on the towels, and for a non spoking room there was ash on the table. Second room still had a weird smell and was dirty but settled due to no refund. Photos of rooms are misleading, there is no microwaves in rooms. My son was informed by the front that they are closing in 25days so guess they just don't care anymore.

I was hardly greeted, given a key to an occupied room and without as much as an apology or regret handed another key, 20 min later another staff member stormed into the room not realizing we were checked in. Balcony was full of trash, and people above our room made noise all night, made it impossible to sleep or get any rest. Property is old, unkept, and dirty. Homeless people hang out all over the property. Room was ok but towels were dirty. Awful experience!

For the price and location I give 3 stars. It's an old place so you expect some wear.

I almost gave it a one star because on the second day I discovered unwanted roommates, roaches.

I spent the second day there washing, cleaning, and packing my things into my car to be sure I didn't take any roaches with me. All this was done with both balcony and front door open because I went out and bought roach spray to keep them at bay while I removed most of my stuff from the room.

Other than that, the location is great, close to literally everything; restaurants, gas station, beach, etcetera. And, the fact that I want bothered with the does opened let me to believe it was a safe environment.

I doubt I'll go back because I like to have my own food and drinks so I save which is why I picked this place, the price couldn't be beat. But if haven't a room with a fridge and microwave means sharing it with roaches, I'm good. I just really hate roaches.

The grounds and room were just ok. I bet in its prime this hotel was great. It used to be a Motel 6 cause they still have the signs in the rooms. It’s a cute little space and would be very nice if better maintained.

The room itself smelled musty and like weed. We had to open the doors and windows to let it air out. The room had clearly been cleaned but also had areas that are obviously neglected between guests. It could use a “deep cleaning”.

The toilet did not work. I took the lid off to find the handle was not attached. During our stay we had to keep the lid off so we could reach back for the button to flush it.

The worst part about this hotel was actually the residents. The place was unfortunately filled with what seemed to be people who live there. Groups and individuals loitering in the parking lot all night, yelling at each other across the grounds, roaming all over all night, and going into various rooms.

Car alarms were going off all night. I was fearful for my car so parked it near my window and checked it often, getting very little sleep that night.

I only planned to sleep there with my family before a trip to Legoland the next day, so I opted for something inexpensive. I should have shopped around a little more, cause I got what I paid for. Disappointing.

Pet friendly, near the pier.
First glance upon arriving, it took a minute to realize that it WASN'T boarded up as the building adj was. Rooms weren't on lower level or together as requested. I'm disabled and so is my senior dog. The property was dingy. Pet friendly but no place to take dogs to potty.The rooms were pretty clean and the patio was 👍. My AC didn't work so the first night was miserable. Moved to another room second night AC worked, no fridge in room AND I was moved far away from my family member and up ANOTHER STORY No elevator just stairs. 🙄 And my room door wouldn't open. I had to go to the office and call. It was a hassle.
We were trying to stay close to the Oside Pier w/out paying $500 a night.
Not a lot of positives but for a room for the night to sleep and shower, it works.

The hotel is pretty run down. It serves its purpose as a place to sleep however the amenities are lacking. The house keepers do a good job however it doesn’t change the fact that the rooms are subpar at best. No drain plug to take a bath, the overflow holes are taped over. Toilet paper feels like sandpaper. The balcony overlooking the pool is a nice touch for what the place is. I did love that it’s a quick walk to the beaches. Upon arrival we were given a room, got to the room and opened the door only to find it was already occupied. We went down to the office and waited about 10-15 minutes for the guy to even come back out and address the issue. Next time I’m going to spend a little more to stay somewhere nicer.

If you have any intention of hanging around your hotel at all, or staying for more than a few nights I would not recommend staying here. The area around the hotel smells like an outhouse and the smell persisted for the 3 days we were here. Our non smoking room smelled like cigarettes. The sheets had what looked like urine stains and cigarette burns. Luckily we had brought our own bedding. The AC worked well and the bed was decently comfortable. Our shower and appliances worked fine, but we were told by other guests that we got lucky in that department. Overall just not a place I would choose to stay ever again. Its cheaper than most places, but still not worth what you'll pay for it. Pay the extra 100 to stay somewhere that isn't so gross.

The room is dirty. Everything was broken from having no smoke detector, broken lock latch on the front door broken shower rod stain on the comforter bathroom was dirty and smelled like piss. I had asked the front desk for another room. He refused and told me to cancel he was gonna cancel my reservation, even though I already checked in and paid. And go somewhere else and refuse to give me a refund very disrespectful and rude to women even asking for tells he refused and reviewing other people’s post, there has been some human trafficking in a week ago. Some lady and her children almost got kidnapped. Unsafe, I do not recommend staying here.

I feel like I need to take a bath in bleach and get a tetanus shot. There was human urine and feces under the stairs to our room, it smelled like an over filled port-o-potty. There was drug paraphernalia behind the towels in the bathroom. There was other people's hair in the sink. I had to ask the owner to kick out drug addicts fixing under the stairs, I also had to ask him to hose down the stairs and hallway because it smelled so bad we had to hold our breath to walk to and from our room #117 No WiFi which the owner blamed my device (iPhone 14) for not being able to connect. I had my 10 year old son with me, I couldn't sleep because I was scared to take my eyes off him. Unfortunately I did not have enough funds to cancel and book a different hotel last minute. What a terrible nightmare.

We booked a last minute stay at Pacific Inn while we were down in Oceanside. Upon checking in the staff member, Nick, was decent. Once we got to our room, 114, we noticed right away how dirty the floor was. There was smeared candle wax all over the curtains, multiple cigarette burns (counted at least 16 holes) all of the bedding, the bathroom was gross, and the walls didn’t look like they were cleaned. My wife and I attempted to use towels to clean the floor but it was just too dirty. We have a 3 and 5 year told that wouldn’t stay in the bed and their feet were black from the filth! We decided after about 20-30 minutes we just couldn’t stay and left in the middle of the night to stay somewhere else. We have spent over 6 hours going back and forth with Hotels.com and Sam, the owner/manager, on trying to get a refund. This properly scams people out of their money. Save yourself time and frustration and book somewhere else! It’s not worth it!

On first arrival, you may think this place is shut down or abandoned. The rooms are decent compared to the exterior which looks like it has not been painted in 25 years- paint on eves cracking all over. There is odor of urine outside and homeles lady was using it for her restroom multiple times.

There was no smoke detector on the ceiling when we walked in, just the wires. Later, we found it sitting on a shelving unit and not functioning. We asked the front desk for an extra towel as there were 3 in the room and we were a party of 4 and were told we’d receive another, we didn’t get it. The fridge was plugged in and we turned the temperature cooler, which didn’t work. No ice machine ton site. The outdoor hot tub temperature listed 104° and it was not heated.

First night the television did not work. The manager tried to fix it and i had to move into another room the next day. I asked for a rebate for the first night and he told me the dont do that.
Next morning a went to do laundry and there were two homeles men there and it smelled like pot. It seamed to me that they were living or sleeping there. The place was nasty. I went back the next day and they were gone but bedding was still there. Also in the laundry room there apesred to be a fiurnace what was open with electrcal comppnents showing.
When i checked out and told the manager about these problems he just he was aware of the homeless.
The rooms were ok but i would never recommend this place to anyone.

This is place is a zero. The beds had sand and hair in them. There are roaming crackheads that use holes in the fence to come and go as they please. Asked the front about a refund or some clean sheets. I was told housekeeping was gone for the day, and that there is a 0 refund policy. Don't be fooled by the at night photos, or the one decent room photo. This place is a dump.

Pretty dirty. Not sure when the last time the floor had been cleaned walking around made my feet black. I saw other reviews about cigarette burns, my comforter did have burns as well as the table in the room. The shower head had a leak off to the side that was spraying out of the side of the shower. I tried to hhave the shower curtain block it but didn’t help. The whole bathroom floor was filled with water when anyone took a shower. Area seemed safe and really close to the beach.

The bathroom doorknob wasn't on correctly and I got stuck in the bathroom until my husband got there from 2 hrs away because no one would answer at the front desk!!!!!!!! Then when he finally let me out w a pocket knife, the baby finally stopped crying and went to sleep at 4 am. At 9:30 housekeeping was banging on my door trying to come in to clean!!! I asked her why would she do that if I don't have to check out until 11am and she said she didn't know if I was there or not. I went to the front desk and the guy was ASLEEP IN THE BACK ROOM! He didn't come out until 45 minutes later when another guest came in and started yelling. They said their manager MIKE would call me back to figure this out. Still haven't heard from \"Mike\".

So ive stayed here on three different occasions. Firsttime i did everything through an app. That went okay but even so, nieghbors were loud, and the place is just really ran down. I dealt with it. But the second time i booked a room i realized that i booked it wrong and needed to book a room for that night, but i was doing so out side of an app i use, any who the guy said he needed my card and we agreed on a price. While staying there i had noticed an extra 200 dollors spent and when i went to try to confront me no one knew what was going or why i was being charged like this. Oh and i seen the owners Adualt soon put his hand on a homless female because she wasnt getting out of there fast enough and yes this is the same guy to charge me the 200 bucks. Just trashy foreigners

This place is very old and falling apart. They are clearly doing absolutely nothing for the place. They also let pets stay and there was dog poop on the ground in a few different places. There was also trash and cigarette butts all over the place. When I checked in I asked for a room away from the road because this place is directly on an intersection on a busy street. The young guy checking me in mumbled something about only having a space in the very back. I told him, yes, please a place as far away from the road as possible. He then shook his head no, and told me the only room was 102 which is the 2nd room from the road. I asked again if this was all that was available or if he please had another room away from the road. He told me no, this was the only room available. When i opened up the door of the room, it smelled like cigarettes (supposed to be non-smoking) and there was a grocery cart full of stuff in the room. I went back to the front desk and told him about the cigarette smell and stuff in the room. He replied in a very weird way that he guessed he \"HAD\" to give me a different room. This room was 109. 7 rooms BACK from the road from the first one. I am still wondering why he refused to give me that room to begin with. The room was still old, falling apart, and a waste of money, but at least i wasn't right next to the road. Do yourself a favor and spend more to go ANYWHERE but here.

I won't be back to this one.

Door \"bar\" lock broken, TV had to be reprogrammed when turned on each time. Ice Machine non-functioning, The bare necessities, were not really provided. Towels of a size acceptable for a small child perhaps.
