If you like a/c there is none so it can get a bit muggy.
Also no elevator so if u have alot of baggage kind of a pain going up and down the stairs.
The parking spots are VERY tight. We have a full size truck and it was very difficult to park. We ended up parking at the yatch club. The last row closest to the street is open parking. No permit needed.
Great location and ocean breeze

It is a older property so make sure u stay on the second floor, otherwise you can hear your neighbors above you.

Great location! Great room layouts! Cheap bedding and no A/C was uncomfortable and the provided fan was less than adequate. Needs a few more kitchen-basics to be functional. Hot tub was nice but full of very small children who probably should not have been allowed in a hot tub. Salt water pool was nice but loud. Amazing harbor and bay views. Not fancy but nice enough to justify the price… Almost. I will be back but my expectations will not be as high next time.

I confirmed a 2 day minimum stay thru EXPEDIA for the Oceanside Marina Suites. As soon as I read the reviews, I tried to cancel but EXPEDIA & the hotel won’t cancel my reservation without charges.

As soon as we entered our room from the garage, we were hit with an old musty odor. The smell continued through all the rooms. Luckily, I brought a candle.

Unit is on 2nd floor with fantastic ocean views. But the unit & the whole resort needs serious updating. The ocean breeze and fans helped with no air conditioning & the musty odor. The balcony is not private and all the windows are dirty & should really be replaced.

I complained to the front desk & she told me she cannot move us that night because they didn’t have any clean rooms. She told me to come back the next morning to talk to the manager. We were in town due to a death in the family so I didn’t really want to waste any time moving or dealing with refunds so we decided to just stay for an additional night.

We met family for dinner & came back around 10pm. We realized we forgot both of our room keys. There was no one at the front desk, but a note that listed a phone number for emergencies.
We called & talked to an answering service. We didn’t receive a response, so I decided to break into our unit by climbing through window that was broken. I’m glad we did that because it took an hour before we would have had a new room key.

Even with the awesome views, I will never stay here ever again.

The Oceanside Marina and suites was an adequate hotel but not superior in any way. It lacked many amenities other than having a pool and hot tub. There were no elevators, no breakfast and you often heard other guests if you had the balcony door open. They get you with the parking fee, $15 a night, but you really have no choice because it's not close enough to anything to go without a car. The one item that we really had an issue with is that we were there for five days and they did not clean our room even once.

Bathroom was well updated but the fan was obnoxiously loud and ran continuously when light was on. Floors had several loose boards that responded noisily when stepped upon. The absence of a sitting chair in the room was a frustration. Not sure the logic of providing a 12 cup coffee maker and only one 2 cup coffee packet. Not one charging port just a couple of receptacles not located near a place to lay devices.
Irritated that there was a hidden charge for Parking that Hotels.com doesn’t reveal.
Maintenance was quick to repair the faulty door hinge that prevented closing the door.
This is an older property upon which a lot of lipstick has been applied.

The place was great with amazing views, clean, and helpful staff. Only giving 4 stars because there is no air conditioning (a big fan was provided) and no elevator (we were on 3rd floor and there for a wedding so lots of stuff to carry up 3 flights of stairs but staff was eager to help carry some stuff). Also, the sea lions can get a little loud at night. Overall enjoyed our stay, the room was spacious, big kitchen area, and clean.

I couldn't have asked for a better vacation. The room was amazing, the view was amazing, the pool was clean and beautiful. I loved how there was a closet in the room that had extra towel towels and extra supplies if needed. The kitchen had dishes. The fireplace was a nice touch. It really warmed up the room. But the view, you couldn't have asked for anything better.

Every time we were at the front desk, there was a sign saying at break, be back soon. Waited 15 minutes before anyone showed up to check us in. FYI: No elevators, we were on 3rd floor and had quite a few bags, so that was a little difficult.

I had a fabulous stay after the nightmare of trying to get the the destination. The traffic was horrific,a two and half hour trip turned into six hours. once I arrived, I was greeted with an aesthetic pleasing Property.that was well managed with friendly and helpful staff. Even the guest was polite and friendly. The rooms were clean and smelled fresh. I would definitely stay there again

Make sure that you have a Physical credit card. This hotel does not take Apple Pay. I was told I had to leave the very next morning, after I had already checked in. It was Mother’s Day morning and needless to say my wife was not happy.

When I first checked in the front desk clerk stated that she could not accept the card had for the deposit. Stated that she was gonna cancel my trip. I walked out a little upset. Then later called and stated I will have another guest with a card that they will accept So I can check in. When I returned with my other guest , they accepted the same card that I had earlier. It was a big inconvenience, and I felt like the the receptionist from the first time I checked in was being very microaggressive. The second reception leader in the day I believe her name was rosa was extremely helpful more helpful than the first. She stated that the card I had was accepted and I don't know why the first receptionist stated that it wasn't. It was hours of inconvenience when I could have checked in the first time. If I do end up looking again it is only because of the second receptionist Rosa.

Great customer service, amazing view with shops and restaurants within walking distance. The 2 bedroom suite has full kitchen 2 full baths and fire place in the living space as well as a small dining area. Can’t get a room anywhere in the area with rooms that close to the water.

parking was super Small and difficult for SUVs, ended up with scratches on my vehicle. no Amenities available, they were all for pretend..and no customer service at all. Hotel charges alot just to stay there offers very little to none benefits. better off paying and staying a marriott or place with better amenities.

The full kitchen with gas stove was awesome to have! Staff were always helpful and nice. The room was a bit uncomfortable without a/c but once the ocean breeze picks up it’s good. The floors were a bit uneven, which won’t bother most, but my balance gets thrown off easily so I was losing it often. The bed was very comfortable. There were noisy guests across from us but they mostly kept to the quiet hours. We haven’t been in so long and were disappointed in all the “tresspassers” on bikes and walking their dogs on the property which clearly states neither is allowed…. All of your guests are paying for private access that homeless and random people wander into like it’s their home. It just felt overpriced this time around, it didn’t feel high end, it felt dead end.

The rooms are clean and the staff is amazing! The view was beautiful and the property grounds are very well maintained. The Harbour village a is a good walk away. I like to put some steps in so do not attempt this walk if you do not walk daily and with intention. But in the car .. it’s less than 5 min. I would definitely stay here again and bring the family and stay in a suite.

Upon my arrival Sunday night we asked to add another evening for Monday. Check in went smooth. Was told the addition had been added. The next morning something in my gut made me check at the front desk to verify the added night. Sadly I was told we DID NOT have the extra eveing. To top it off, they are now sold out. We had booked the perfect room for anniversary. Perfect ocean view, 2nd floor. PERFECT. To be moved to the 1st floor looking out at trash cans. THEN.... we get a phone call in the 'new' room only to be accused of having a cat with us. Unbelievable. She proceeded to tell me they were charging me for an animal. Told them to come check it out. Still argued with me telling me we lied.
We packed up and left to go bck home. 6 hours away. Anniversary ruined

I love staying here. I’ve stayed here more than a dozen times. It’s personally one of my favorite places. Yes, it might be a little outdated and rustic but I like the style and that’s the vibe especially when this place is located right off the ocean. My only suggestion would be to invest money in painting walls and getting rid of the carpet.

The hotel was in a beautiful location next to the marina with enviable ocean views. It was obviously a posh place in its day but no longer. There was peeling paint, low water pressure, no scheduled maid service. We were on the second floor and they do not have an elevator. With that said it was an affordable stay in a 2 bed, 2 bath large suite in a great location. We may return as we will be visiting the area frequently.

The room unfortunately had no AC. The neighbors sliding door faced directly into ours so it was awkward on the balcony and the view itself was so terrible. The view we paid more for so we are disappointed overall.

The property is so beautiful. Kept neat and clean. Sparkling pool. My only complaint is that my room was not that great. The bed was very uncomfortable. The bad carpet needed to be replaced. The bathtub needed to be reglazed. Other than that it was really quiet and beautiful and that’s what I went for.
