This was the worst hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The AC wasn’t working and my whole family did not get any sleep. The room was dirty and small and not worth the price. We stayed at a friend’s hotel at the Marriott most of the night since they had a very clean pool and their hotel was nice. The front desk at extended stay of America continued to hang up when we would ask for toilet paper or a question about the AC. Always said no one was available!!!!!

Customer service plays a significant role in the overall experience, and this interaction left us uncomfortable and dissatisfied. As a result, we will not be returning.
On a positive note, Hotels.com was extremely helpful and resolved the situation quickly and without hesitation, which we truly appreciated.

Never again will I stay at extend stay in San Diego. Dispite my family only staying for two days, we felt like we were staying at a motel. The refrigerator did not work, bed frames were sticking out that scratched my leg more then 3×, floors in bathroom, bedroom, and counters had stains, beds hard, chairs had cigarette holes and other holes. Also when they said breakfast please note it's only coffee, oatmeal and packaged bit size muffins. This place needs a full modern upgrade.

My experience at this hotel was truly disappointing. It was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. There were no soaps provided in the bathroom unless requested, and the breakfast options felt more suited for children. This was my first time staying at an extended stay hotel, and it will definitely be my last. Additionally, there was a strong scent in the room that caused me to sneeze all night long. Motel would have suited my needs.Paying such an amount and getting such a below par service is unacceptable.

When I tried to report it to the front desk during the day, no one was around to help.
I coach in soccer tournaments and needed something printed. I asked the hotel clerk to see abt printing a paper and she said "sorry no printing until 2pm". You can print my hotel receipt but cant print out a document within minutes? Ive been to many hotels and not once has that ever been an issue.
Meanwhile, they started their complimentary coffee bar late 30 minutes while a group of elderly were waiting on her but she had this pissed off look on her face.
Idk what happened to the staff this weekend but it wasnt a friendly visit. The location wae superb for my work but I'll never stay here again.

The staff were friendly. The first room I was in had a horrible smell and water was leaking under the floor in the bathroom. I changed rooms - the AC did not work properly and was incredibly loud when it would come on. The bathtub/shower was rundown and did not look the cleanest. It was very late and I was tired, so I didn’t change rooms again, but after bad nights of rest while I was there, I should have tried a different room.

The room needs repairs door handle to bathroom would come off. Booked queen beds but they are actually full beds. When checking out the person who was working late was not happy when we called to checked out. He actually said im never going to get my work done. But change as he notice l was standing at the counter with my wife. No working ice machine's at a hotel is ridiculous.

We needed a place to stay while we had some repairs done to our house. I have not stayed at an Extended Stay before. My next comments are strictly observations: 1) I am aware there are folks who essentially live in the hotel; 2) I personally have not stayed in an Extended Stay; 3) was not provided a check-in packet or received any information regarding housekeeping or trash collection. I understand that this is available on the website, but generally front desk staff ask if you’ve stayed at their hotel before and if not, can give you a quick summary of services. Overall, the hotel fit our needs for temporary lodging.

The front desk was ALWAYS EMPTY! I don’t expect 24hour availability but at least have someone to talk to but someone was always there on Day shift. I also was charged a pet fee of 50 bucks and he was a service dog. I’d like to get my 50 bucks back.

As you enter the corridor, there’s a strong fishy smell which is horribly to tolerate. The kitchen stove is not very clean. More disappointing thing is the breakfast. This property had the breakfast included but they provided coffee and some muffins only. We ended up getting the breakfast outside.

This was the most horrible experience ever. I was not able to sleep due to bed bug. I called the front desk on Saturday morning and they did nothing about it.

I came to the extended stay to take a test and for that I needed absolute quiet and for no one to interrupt me. Initially when I went down to get the breakfast as advertised they only had oatmeal and some muffins and they didn’t even have the hot water for the oatmeal. They told me that i put in a request for the smoke detector in the room. When I told them that was not the case they did not justify entering into my space and disrupting me on a timed exam which did deprive me of five valuable minutes. (The exam is administered in increments of an hour).
