The hotel requires a complete renovation. The wallpaper in the rooms is peeling, as the paint in the bathroom. The room furnishings are worn and need replacing. The elevator is very slow. The price doesn't match the quality. For $200, you can find a much better hotel.

Excellent all around! Upgraded to a superior room which is much nicer, with a modern design, spacious bath, and better furnishings. Fantastic front desk staff, easy access to transit, and wonderful bakeries next door. Priced a little higher than other hotels but well worth it. Highly recommend!

I was disappointed regarding the breakfast. I didn’t pay in advance and I asked the receptionist to add it during the check-in. The price at the hotel is almost 3x higher than online !!!!!!!!! It’s ridiculous ; never happened to me before.
Cleaning staff very discreet and friendly. Very good location close to Old Town and public transportation available right next to the hotel

“No” because of the attitude

It’s so strange place… the premises itself is ok, breakfast is fine. But: why and how it can be, that the A/C in the room is not adjustable????? It’s hot and the nice girl and the reception told me, that THE WHOLE FLOOR HAS THE SAME TEMPERATURE!! And that the technician is not available at the evening/night and she also offered me to go down and get the several keys from other rooms and check by myself, if they are better and, if yes, they would change it for me. Is it a service of 4*, I wonder???? Are you serious??

It would be a good hotel, but renovation work is currently in progress and knocking noises come from upstairs from 7am and I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t switch off the bedside light because of some electrical wiring fault.

Did not reply to my emails in advance of arriving.
Limited breakfast selection.
At lot of noise at night and early morning.
Basic furnishings in a suite - looked more like a university hall of residence.
Unsafe bathroom - had a fall and hurt myself as the mat was not big enough and did not grip the floor.
On the plus side, pretty clean and staff helpful.
Would not stay again for the above reasons.

Never been to Poland, maybe its normal to have excuses every day to pay extra on top of booked room. I found it a joke.
What is not normal, had a tick attached to my back in the bed, only left room once to goto hospital so had to be in room.
Unfriendly, many guests shouting at reception.

Rooms are large and well equipped- maybe a little dated but still comfortable. Staff were very friendly and efficient .The buffet breakfast is excellent with a wide selection of hot and cold options. The bar in the hotel was not very inviting and was the only facility we did not like. Located about 30 min walk from the old town but metro / buses nearby and Uber very cheap. Also bars cafes and restaurants in the nice neighborhood where the hotel is located. Made our stay in Warsaw very enjoyable

Great City Centre Hotel

This is a really nice hotel, it is close to Glowny station and walking distance to the main central station (for the bus to Modlin airport). At the bottom of the street is the underground stop where you can catch the direct train to Chopin airport). There is a very large choice at breakfast time which begins weekdays at 6:30am. Most of the rooms are on high floors with great views over the city. They had a UK European plug I was able to borrow.

I wouldn't recommend the hotel first of all due to COVID your paying more money for services that aren't currently available. The majority of the staff have a disgusting attitude where I got the impression you're an inconvenience to them. On 3 seperate occasions I requested something until I took it up with the manager. In saying that the rooms are very comfortable and well decorated but the standard of service was probably the worst ive ever encountered in a hotel

Between 30 to 40 minutes of walk to old town. Quiet neighbourhood. A few restaurants nearby.

Check-in time is 3pm. You can't check in earlier even if the room is available.

Good hot breakfast. Apple juice available in the main entrance.

Lovely hotel in really handy location. Couple of things in our room that didn’t work, but as taxi was waiting for us as we checked out, we didn’t have a chance to mention, so in fairness didn’t give the hotel an opportunity to resolve. The key card holder that turns on the electricity was broken in our room and cut out unless you wedged the card in. The hairdryer kept turning off and would have to be left for 5 minutes before it would work again. However the place was great, the housekeeping was particularly good. Would recommend and would definitely stay again!

The employees were friendly and helpful. The room size was great and very spacious. Beds were a little hard for me and some laminate missing from doorframe. Also wires hanging above bathroom mirror. Good breakfast selection and all fresh and tasty! Good location for visiting lots of places.

Wonderful hotel for the price. 20 minute walk to the city centre, easy to reach the Old Town (2 stops on the Metro).

Lovely spacious rooms, nice and warm.

The immediate area is run- down with graffiti on the walls, over-grown grass, blocks of flats, but it is quiet and safe. A surprising location as the Westin Hotel (5 star) and the Hilton are also nearby. However, Carrefour Express was opposite the road which was cheap and handy for food and drinks

A decent hotel, although a little bit of a walk from the centre of town. Stayed for one night, but can’t fault anything else about it. Room was perfect and modern and staff were very pleasant. We prefer hotels to have a pool or sauna as an added bonus, and that was the only downside, apart from distance to centre of town. At the right price though, we would stay again.

A Luxury Hotel-in my opinion.

A very comfortable hotel.The room was spacious,clean and relaxing. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well.The staff were lovely and helpful. Wasaw Central railway station is about 20 minutes walk away,from which there are trains to other parts of Poland and other countries. I recommend the high speed trains if you are going any great distance,which require reservations. The hotel has a very welcoming atmosphere and I would stay there again.

Understand non refundable but under circumstances am disappointed with wotif and Leonardo re wasted one night paid for. Arrived one day late as evening flight from Tallinn totally cancelled. Had to overnight in Tallinn again as no choice. Hotel not helpful about that. Would expect refund from wotif under the circumstances.

Staff were not helpful - we are from Australia and needed help with tours, bookings, phone calls, food etc and the girl at reception would not help, and couldn't offer any suggestions or alternatives, this was very upsetting. Bathroom in room smelt upon arrival and continued to smell.
Hotel was in a good location for walking to main attractions.

When you look at the map the hotel might seem pretty close to the city center, well it's not.
The floor is bit claustrophobic - low ceiling, dull colors, no windows. The room is much better, though. We had a view to the side opposite of the city center, so pretty much nothing to see.
Very bright led clock display of the TV set - even had to cover it for the night.
Unhandy door handle when exiting the floor to the elevator hall. All items are no big deal, but all together makes you feel irritated. Might be affordable, but next time I'd rather pick a hotel closer to Vistula and the city center.

Good hotel with confusing names.

Large room. Bathroom was huge. Location is good for business district but a little far from the main train station. Short walk to many good restaurants. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and comfortable. Note that this hotel shows up under two names and both names are on the front doors. Some sites list it as the JM Hotel and some sites list it as the Leonardo Royal. It's the same hotel. Staff was nice and spoke English. Overall a good stay.

Had a good check in but on the second day our towels were not changed after we had left them on the floor as it was asked and then we were told we were lying and that they had been changed we waited another hour rang back the woman on the phone was once again saying we were lying we asked for more towels yet again they arrived the woman didn't even knock just opened the door with her card came in with a very and attitudes chucked the towels in the floor then started looking around the room for the towels which were in the bathroom once she had then she continued to say we were lying and that we had no idea,I won't be going back in a hurry everything seemed an effort with everyone in the hotel.

OK - but money was stolen by assistant manager

The hotel itself is pretty decent for the money. It's not fantastic, but it's not bad. Breakfast is so-so however, especially if you don't eat gluten.

Anyway, I forgot 1000 dollars in cash in my room inside one of the drawers. I came back a week after to pick it up, and thankfully they had found and stashed the money. However, I only got back about 350 dollars of the 1000. This is understandable though, the maid probably needed her piece, and then the Assistant Floor Manager (blonde woman) and her brunette colleague split the rest. After the brunette brought my money downstairs from the safe, they spent a long time in the back room whispering to each other. When the assistant manager finally came out, she knew exactly how much money was in there (\"we found $350!\") and she was quite nervous about it. The brunette stood nervously in the back room watching/listening what was going down. It was quite obvious that they took a big piece of the cash for themselves, but it's nothing I can prove in a court.

Anyway, I'm glad I at least got some of the money back. Some hotels would probably steal all of it. Here I only lost $750. So while this is no Ritz Carlton, it's no shady motel either.

The hotel was immaculate. The restaurant although quiet was beautifully kept and the one meal we had there was delicious and very good value. The bar area is small but comfortable and the drinks are well priced. All the staff we encountered were friendly and courteous.

Nice hotel but needs modernalization

The hotel is close to city center and the is spacious and clean. But my room does not have a safety box so when I went out I have no where to secure valuables such as passport. Also there is no door bell so every morning the cleaning lady would knock on every door, you cannot sleep at all if you want to stay in. The insulation is not good. The night before I left, there apparently a party next door, people come in and out and every time when they open/closed the door, it made a huge noise, and this went on from midnight to 3 am. I could not sleep at all. Also the hotel seems to try to squeez all guest in the same floor and next to each other instead of spreading them around.

Good for business travel...not central for leisure

Had a comfortable 3-nights stay in mid-October. JM Hotel Warsaw Center offers very modern rooms (rooms resemble those of Hilton) with modern conveniences. While we were staying here for leisure, it seems that the hotel is geared more for business travelers. As tourists who enjoy walking, we did find that walking to the historic part of Warsaw took about 30-45 minutes of walking...we would have preferred to be located a bit more centrally. However, there is a tram line that runs very near to the hotel. There is a large shopping center just a 10 minute walk from the hotel. No complaints about the quality of the hotel itself.

3. THE HOTEL BLOCKED 140 EURO FROM MY CREDIT CARD, WITHOUT ANY PERMISSION, NOW I HAVE TO WAIT ABOT ONE MONTH FOR THE SUM TO BE RELEASED, WHEN I MADE THE BOOKING, NOBODY SAID THEY WILL BLOCK THE MONEY

Don't believe their claim of Air-conditioned rooms

I have repeatedly stayed at this hotel for its wonderful rooms. Air conditioning is a reason I stay. Unfortunately the past two times, the A/C has not been functioning and no one will check on it or fix it. They say it is working. The control says it's on, but no air comes out of the vent. And because it has A/C, the Windows won't open. Very uncomfortable and warm. I don't think they know what a functioning Air conditioner is. Very disappointed again.

Rooms are old and very dark. They don't even have a safe in the room or just tissues in the bathroom.
I had to ask to change my room cause the TV wasn't even located in front of my bed. I had to sit on a couch for watching tv!
I had forgotten this type of hotel was still existing. Insane!

Nice location just a bit outside of the busy downtown are but a new easy walk to get there. Restaurant on site was very good value for the money with several other options nearby. I had requested a queen bed room but it was unavailable at check in I was told to check again in the morning but slept so well in the single I never bothered to check again for a queen bed. I would have liked a in room safe but the front desk safe was easy enough. No complaints about the hotel or staff

A local hotel provides the comfort & convenience

Stayed 1 night only after 1 week conference at Warsaw Hilton. A local hotel with a reasonable rate, fast check in & out, friendly & helpful staff members. No credit card deposit, which is a relief for us foreign travelers. PLN50 breakfast buffet is worth the value.
Only complaint is the weak wifi in the room but always strong in the lobby.
Beware of the taxi system, there are no meters, you need to negotiate the price first, taxi drivers do not speak English.
