The room was nasty and the whole hotel smelled funny. Also the guy that checked us in way very rude. I even tried to ask him questions regarding our reservation and he wouldn't answer them. They also completely messed up my reservation. We booked two rooms together and they weren't at all close to each other. The pool was also freezing and my two kids couldnt swim at all. NEVER AGAIN!

Room was clean. The staff was friendly and tended to the room daily. Stay was in the winter. Though, the room was temperature controlled there was a draft coming from and around the heating/air conditioner unit. Also, the hallway was not heated. There was a draft coming from under the door into the room. The decor throughout the Hotel is outdated. The heated pool was closed.

This hotel is horrible. Very dirty. Sheets and pillows stink. Toilet was extremely rusty on the floor by it. The jacuzzi didnt work well.the jets didnt work and water leaked out of the top eberywhere. The remote had no back to it batteries would keep falling out. The hotel in a whole was dirty and stunk so bad the pool wasnt open. The hotel paint is chipping and the lobby was so dirty. The vending machine took our card but didnt guve us sodas. We were looking for other places to stay but we didnt want to eat the 160 some dollars but we will never be back again.

We had a jacuzzi suite and the room was disgusting, the heater broken and panel of it off and our jacuzzi was dirty, and we asked for cleaning supplies to clean it out our self along with the bathroom and they asked me if I could wait till the morning, ofcourse I can’t wait to use something the next day after I pay for it. So they decide to switch me rooms and that room tile floors were cracked by the jacuzzi, the knob on it came falling off, the cleaning person that cleaned our room put a dirty towel we had set aside for dirty and they hung it back up on our towel rack, it had a hair on it because we put it on the floor. The light strips were coming off the wall and the shower head only had water coming out on one side and we couldn’t switch the control on it. And they key cards had to keep getting reactivated because they stopped working multiple times. I was not compensated at all for this stay and they were not helpful at all. It was like I was bothering them. And glass bottle pieces right outside the entry way for kids to get hurt. I wouldn’t even give this place a one star

Our room door had to be shoulder pushed open and closed. Tried to explain it to the front desk person, but he didn’t care. The lock didn’t work properly. Wash clothes left in the bathroom were all used. We paid extra for a late checkout, but they forgot and tried to enter the room twice as we were getting dressed. Trash hotel. Don’t waste your time and find somewhere else. TRUST ME!

The hotel needs some updating. The room we reserved said two queen size beds and when we arrived to the room they were full size beds and a bit small for two people to sleep in comfortably. The toilet and the shower tub drains weren’t draining well and the sink was cracked and painted. The furniture and microwave was very old was old and the tv stands doors did not close properly. The staff was very nice and the room was clean.

Looking for a decent no-frills hotel? This is the spot! Came down here last month for a day-cation and it was the perfect place to crash for the night. Man at the front desk was very friendly and the room was pretty clean. I’ll definitely stay again, considering that Mount Airy Casino is very close!

I booked the motel room to avoid a long drive home for my girlfriend and I, to get a good night's sleep after a special event trip and a long week. Checked in fine before the event, and came back to our room after the event and was surprised to see that the blinds to a 1st Floor room had see-through blinds... I know they were see-through, because we saw a couple inside their room through the blinds, as we parked & walked past their room. Very uncomfortable, especially with 24/7 lights outside making it easier to see through inside.

Speaking of uncomfortable, our bed was nothing short and put us in worse shape than when we got there. My girlfriend, after hours of struggling to sleep on the mattress, discovered that the rug on the floor was a comfier solution... and stayed there until she sat up against the bed to continue sleeping. I myself, woke up several times to adjust my sleeping position, and couldn't wait to be back home in a real bed.

Nothing against the staff, but the room itself was miserable. Felt like a waste of money, for something meant to be comforting.

Gym equipment doesn’t work, so if you’re looking to workout stay somewhere else. There’s one pool that looked ok but the smell of chlorine was enough to choke you. Breakfast is advertised but when you get there they’ll tell you that they don’t serve breakfast (disappointing). Rooms are relatively clean, and the staff seem nice. Overall 2/10 but conveniently located central to many different good places to eat and a Walmart that’s about 10 min away.

I went and had a fun time in the mountains but the place smelled like an Indian kitchen. It stunk like curry and the furniture was run down and miss matched. Nothing belonged together for example there would be a very old mirror with a gold frame and polka dots, then the back drop for the tv was glossy red😂😂the ac in the room was also from the 90s and woke me up every time it turned on at night. I contacted Expedia and they said that the hotel property won’t do anything about it and won’t give me any sort of reimbursement. I didn’t even ask for the money back I mean 20% of on your next stay would be been better then being turned down and now having me write this review. But what I do have to say is that Expedia then tried to make it better and gave me some credits. Overall it just wasn’t worth the price

I wish there was a way to give a negative amount of stars. This is by far the most disgusting \"hotel\" I've ever been to. From the moment you enter the building the smell of piss almost knocks you off your feet. Fast forward to the actual room. As you can see from the pictures, this place is absolutely gross. Filth and dirt everywhere. I will honestly tell you, that me taking a dump probably made the toilet cleaner. Avoid at all costs. However, if you like the aesthetics of an abandoned trap house, then Hotel M is the spot for you!

The bed was comfortable, but that is where it ends. From stains on the curtains to no phone or iron board in the room to lights that switch on and off throughout your whole stay, not just once in a while but every 3 minutes, for the entire stay.
We would have went down to the desk to complain, but we were exhausted, late check in. We were put in the furthest room on the second floor with the elevator out of order.
You get what you pay for. Not worth it, pay a couple more dollars for your comfort.

You really need to remove this hotel from the list, I booked three nights, we arrived late so we had no choice but to stay but we were out of there first thing in the morning. Exterior doors do not lock anybody can walk and you don't even need the key card.
No fire extinguishers no fire alarm it was broken.
There is drug paraphernalia out on the sidewalks where my children were walking. The staff gave us no information whatsoever on Wi-Fi breakfast anything. My youngest didn't even sleep that night every noise he heard he was awake and asking what was that very unsafe, unsecure and on friendly. I never experienced this and all the years I have been traveling. I will be contacting Expedia for a refund, and possibly contacting the better Business bureau.

Checkin was easy. The staff was awesome when I requested a room on the first floor since the elevator was out of service an I was unable to go up staps.
The Pool was nice. The room we got was 104 on the first floor. It was dated. The Bed was very comfortableIt was Dated.
Room & Bathroom was clean. Refrigerator, Micro wave, Coffee Pot worked.
The price was right for the location.
I will stay there again in the future. Dislikes\" Our window faced the parking lot. There was no Blackout Drapes. Walkers by could see in our room.
No Breakfast. Being a frequent traveler I was prepair for that.
So this is the very first thing I do when ever I stay at \"any\" hotel room. I pull out the Filters on the A/C and wash them with a disinfecting cleaner. But before I wash them I take a photo of the filters before and after to show management.
I never have a problem. I have a solution

This property is very convenient. Stayed 5 minutes away from family, the area is surrounded by all the necessities such as supermarkets, gas stations, airport & places to eat. Adored the pool ! It serviced early ‘til later than your average hotel. Parking is perfect. Hotel M should provide fluffier pillows. Our room’s AC wasn’t the best. Overall, good stay.

This place looks low budget. My friend fell down the steps because the steps were slippery after they waxed it i guess and there was no wet floor sign AT ALL! Perfect location. Ten dollar uber ride to casino. We are looking for house in area. Staff very friendly and asked us how our stay was and what they could do better. Pool was clean and warm. Was similarly to what you’d expect at a motel. It wasn’t a good sign that a $100 deposit was required upon check-in, in addition to the room fee. And then there was visible water damage in the ceiling of the room we were given…and overnight it leaked onto our bed. Don’t go buy the room pics and don’t forget to look at the ratings…which was my mistake because I was in a rush.

When you check in the desk person gives you a waiver that states no refunds after 15 minutes. After this time we were told there are no breakfasts, no kitchen available. There was no coffee pot in our room (2 other guests said the same), the whirlpool is covered with plywood and about 8 dead plants, we did dare the pool, very cold, visible dead leaves on the bottom along the several pool scrubbing sponges. While checking in a gentleman was changing his cars oil in the parking lot, making us wonder how many guests where actually residents. The fitness area is packed with treadmills and building supplies, we were told its off limits. The ice machine was actually gutted so no ice, with large we have ice signs in the hallway. Off to the left of the hotel is a weird set up of living areas, the bbq grill is in the middle of 5 or 6 flipped over chairs in that area, with no signs. The hallways reek of seafood buffet but worse. I counted 15 cameras in the first floor hallways. Half of the rooms on 2nd floor were being electrically wired. a weird room (ballroom we were told) that has 2 pool tables 8 random toasters 4 cameras, a broken leaning over air hockey table, and a scent of animal urine and mold, surprisingly better than the hallways smell. The mens room across from the pool had a urinal that looked, and smelled like it hasn't been flushed since 1982. There are no phones or alarm clocks in the rooms. Middle of mountains is actually a main St strip with no view. Stay away.
