Room was ok. Bathroom terrible, No heat and a tiles floor the bathroom temperature was around 30 degrees. Staff with a languages barrier. Got up in the morning exactly 8am walk to the lobby to find out the continental breakfast was never put out and a lillte have to ask for fothe coffees coffee

The room was shabby and even thought it was supposed to be non smoking there was cigarette burns in the bedding,
The hand basin sink did not drain properly.
The website advertised breakfast, but when I went to get it, the door to the lobby was locked and there was only a sign saying deposit room key here. I recommend Orbitz remove this lodge from the system

When i reached there for checkin at 8 Pm, the manager said, they were overbooked and dont have any room for me even i have confirmed reservation with them. I had to struggle finding the room that night which costed me allot more.

Worst motel ever. Do not go here. Crazy guy was outside yelling at himself and yelling at my family. Staff did not care and shooed my family away. Room was dirty and the bathroom was in terrible condition. My family felt very unsafe at the properly and left within 10 minutes. I want a full refund

One of the room smelled like mold. Heavy musty mildew mold smell. The bathroom was even worse , the rooms were suposed to be non-smoking, but smelled like cigarette smoke anyways. The pillows smelled like they were cleaned with some sort of air freshener spray, but still had a sweaty smoke smell.

How there is A empty room above 110 and in that same bathroom there is a non working vent that you see a blue light blink randomly and the door doesn't even lock and have a inch gap so you just see someone passing all night while your trying to sleep

A non-smoking room that stunk of cigarettes, the roaches in the bathroom, the carpet that, for some reason, stayed wet from the moment I walked into the moment I left... this place was generally everything you'd expect from an extraordinarily low-budget motel. Nothing redeemable here. Serves me right for trying to save some money.

This property was very very nasty , had roches smelled like cigarettes while it said no smoking, the bed sheets had burnt holes on them and yellow stains so gross . NEVER coming back this made us rethink about going back home or getting a different hotel. The main office guy gave us new rooms since there was so refund i had paid 2 nights that where closer to the office i guess those where newer didn’t see roches first night but the next morning it had little baby roches creeping in. I definitely do not recommend

I believe the good ratings and reviews for this property is by family and friends. I have never been to a hotel as bad as this one. Around the building looks like a 1970 motel. The inside of the room was absolutely the worst! It reeks of cigarette smoke, the pillows had stains on them. The toilet was dirty, as if son one came to clean it. The rug was completely dirty and the walls were filthy. I left after 5 mins of being there because of all the reasons above and more, not to mention that due to health reasons, i cannot be in a room that reeks of cigarettes and the front desk oerson told me that I cannot be refunded my money. I would be cautious of paying to stay at this property until you actually see it, because they know what it looks like and you WONT be refunded.

This motel is old. Evethting besides the tv reminds you of a horror movie. Found roaches in the bathroom. Bathroom towels was dirty and the bathroom still had hair all over the sink. Tub has dirt all over the shower curtains. Lights did not work. And staff was unwilling to do anything about it.

Owners/ management were extremely pleasant and accommodating. Rooms were mostly clean and beds were comfortable. It was a last minute stay as our other reservation fell through. Lodge was affordable and convenient distance from our day trip at Kalahari. Their best selling point is definitely their 5☆ service!! Would stay again!

Check in was quick and staff were friendly. They are under new ownership and doing updates presently. Got to our room and room appeared clean but very musty odor. We asked for another room and got a similar room with new flooring. Smelled better so we took it. Room hardly had any outlets for devices and no hangers to hang clothing, no samples of shampoo and no extra toilet paper. We only stayed 2 nights but don’t think we will return til updating is completed.

Aside from the amount of negative reviews that i read prior to booking this trip I still booked it anyway because the price was decent enough for my boyfriend and I to have our own little couples getaway. We got there and were instantly greeted by the owner who was very kind and helpful. When we got to our room it was very clean and had a very homey and cozy feeling to it which was a definite plus in our book, we had a little trouble getting the tv to work so my boyfriend had to call the front desk, within a few minutes the owner was at the door and helped get the issue resloved and gave us very informative insights to what was around since it was our first time in the area. Overall we had a very pleasant stay here and we enjoyed our time away and i would definitely book here again if we are ever in the area again. Thank you so much to night lodge for the excellent service, clean environment and the friendly experience.

Rooms were dated, but clean. No USB ports, only one available outlet in the room. No tub, shower only. Front desk was extremely nice. Had a slight musty smell but that went away once the air conditioner was turned on. Great location and affordable, but don't expect to be wowed. Happy with our stay, it's very close to attractions. Quiet. No problems. All in all this place is easy to get to, and is great for people on a budget. The diner across the street is phenomenal! Other dining options are available right up the street. If you're looking for someplace to crash for the night, this is it.

Took a chance. Rate was high for a motel but saw it included breakfast. Room was...ok.
Aging but clean.
Unable to use wifi.
Cable TV limited to a few channels.
Then there was that breakfast.
It consisted of a banana and a super sweet roll..oh and coffee. Tasted bad. When I spilled it out into the sink was full of black bits. Not sure if it was the coffee grinds or something.
If the rate was lower might be a good deal

This is a hotel I picked because it was nearby Puchicon and it was cheap, so idk what I expected. But since you asked, I have a few complaints. First of all, my girlfriend also stayed with me and she complained of a musty smell the whole time. In addition, the cleanliness of the bathrooms had a lot to be desired. Plus the beds were uncomfortable.
There were also a lot of bees surrounding the area too. I don’t mind bees, but that’s a bit of a concern to someone who might be allergic to them.
The crown jewel of disappointment though was the so called complimentary breakfast. One thing I like about that is that I can skip out on spending extra for it. But this hotel had the most pathetic attempt at a complimentary breakfast I’ve ever seen in my life. There was only mini muffins, apples, bananas that were still green, honey buns on the second day, and some sad flowers in a coffee cup. It was just really pathetic.

Again, I don’t know what I expected when I only spent $200 for the weekend. At the very least, the air conditioning worked. And the addition of a microwave and refrigerator was a neat amenity.

The property is located in a great location for dining and getting to the slopes. However it was right on a busy road and you could hear every vehicle as it went by. The disappointment really came with the bed. The sheets and blankets were stained and had burn marks from people smoking in the room. The price was cheap so you get what you pay for but would expect it to be a little cleaner.

Bathroom walls in room 120 need a little plaster repairs. A bit cracked, crumbly. Overall a very nice little Roadside Motel. Bed linens felt very crisp and clean, yet my wife claimed she felt itchy the next morning. But nothing came of it. Probably just a reaction to what ever theyre cleaned with.

Definitely not worth the price. Almost $200 for one night. We had a room with a jacuzzi tub, the jacuzzi didnt have much power, had to turn off 2 of the jets to have decent pressure in the other ones. Not clean at all, the room itself was pretty gross and outside our door was tons of spider webs and spiders (eeekkk). The TV wasn't working when we got there but the owners got it going after a little while and they were also very friendly. The room was pretty small. Definitely didn't look like the pictures online and our room should not be considered a \"honeymoon suite\".. Just a typical room with jacuzzi. Also it said breakfast for 2 was included in our price/stay. We didnt get that nor did they say anything about it, check in and out was from a window outside so there wasn't even a place to go into to have breakfast.

Used a rewards night.
GOOD:
Late check-in thru the night window-easy.
The bed was comfortable-great
Hot water was nice and hot
Had a bathtub which I needed after 10 hour plane trip.
BAD:
The bedspread had a large spot on quilt-not wet thankfully
The garbage can had a used mask in it
The bathtub had numerous hairs left in it which took forever to wash away(NO tub ring thankfully)
The bathroom sink had MANY short beard whiskers/hairs on the sink and behind the faucets.
Old toothpaste left along side of the bathroom sink.
IF I had not been so tired, it wasn't so late I would have complained, left and found another hotel(not many nearby)
Thankfully I had paid for the stay with a reward or I would have been more upset.

Overall you could tell the owners tried to keep it clean.
I believe the cleaning person just didn't take enough time to notice the left over hair, toothpaste and left the mask in garbage on way out.
It definitely had been cleaned but made you wonder what made the stain on the bedspread???-NOT an hourly motel for sure-clean sheets.
The grounds and outside were clean, no garbage around.
The place was dated but for a low stay not too bad.
The bed and hot water made all bearable!
The 2 staff I met were all very helpful and pleasant.
NOT worth $96.00/night however.
Next time will use a higher priced reward stay.
This was what I needed as I could not safely drive another mile.
With better cleaning , would be a nice \"Mom & Pop\" motel.

The bedsheets wasn’t changed! It has some kids of dirty thing in it and it’s obviously not been washed! The tv table had food wast on it when we walk in. The room is very dusty and I got bitten by some kind of bugs. Even though the front desk is very friendly, I will never come back again and I won’t recommend it to anyone! We had a terrible night here.

Property didn’t list smoking/non-smoking room as other properties does. You have to click on the info button. We got stuck with a smoking room ugh. There was mildew in the bathroom. On the shower curtain and the top of he tub. Paint was peeling in the bathroom as well. They move the towel rack and did a messy job with the patch work. Sheets had a stain. Microwave was dirty both inside about out. DEFINITELY not worth a $200 night. So disappointed!

A very budget motel. Non-smoking room reeked of cigarettes and the substitute room did as well with wall paper peeling off in various spots.

Staff was polite, apologetic and responsive. However, when I needed to change the reservation, I was provided conflicting instructions from both Expedia and the motel which lead to no resolution.

Would not recommend either.

This motel was a minute away from our reasoning to take our mini vacation trip, so that's a plus. We were also by a bunch of stores and restaurants. The motel it self was okay. They should have scraped off the icicles dangling around the edge of the building because that's a safety issue and could have fallen on someone. The room was clean. The heat worked well. TV had decent channels. The bad: the mattress was absolutely horribly uncomfortable and the toilet was literally a child sized toilet (I'm not kidding, if you're a plus size person you might not fit and I'm not saying this to be rude it's literally a small tiny toilet it was crazy). The bathroom was clean and interesting enough the sink was inside the bathroom (normally the sink isn't inside the bathroom). The manager and cleaning staff were friendly. I did want to charge the room to a different card, but upon arrival I learned they charged the card I used to hold the room for. So, that was annoying because I had to move money around and wifi there wasn't great (still don't know the password to get in). Would I stay here again? For the price I paid for two nights (nearly $225 total) probably not. I didn't sleep well and my body still aches from that terrible mattress.

We booked a non-smoking room and got the last one. The smoke was sooooo bad we asked to be moved. They claimed that was the very last room available. We had to go to the store to get spray cleaner and air freshener to clean all the walls and furniture just to sleep. As we sprayed the walls, the smoke and dirt started to run down the wall. The area was fully booked. Avoid this hotel at all cost!!!!

Do not book here at all. The first night my girlfriend and I stayed we found spots of blood on our sheets and our tv didn’t work in our room. We then told the manager and he put us in a jacuzzi suit for the inconvenience. Then I was forced to pay $110 extra on top of $300 that I payed for. The next room had dirty sheets and covers and blunt ashes everywhere. Plus the fridge didn’t close. Personally avoid this hotel. Save your money and go somewhere else. Unless you want bloody sheets. You can definitely tell they don’t clean the rooms.

I wish I could give zero or negative stars. The rooms were nothing like in photos. This hotel is an absolute dump. The rooms smelled like unwashed toilets, we had to buy scented room freshener to minimize the smell. On top of it, sink clogged in one of our rooms. Bathroom door didn’t lock properly and we received some shady call from reception at 11pm. Heater didn’t work in another rooms(we reserved 2 rooms). We have been to many hotels and motels, this is the worst one We have ever stayed at. Never recommend this to anyone.

I did not like anything about this stay, it was absolutely the worst I've ever experienced. The shower had mold everywhere! The wall paper in the room was pealing and the overall look of the room was super old and musty. One of the small face towels had hair everywhere therefore I'm sure the towels are not properly washed. The \"breakfast included\" is literally blueberry muffins and coffee. Luckily I only needed to stay here for a night but it was honestly the worst stay I've ever experienced.

It was obviously a mom and pop shop so when I got back to room after event and was in bed didn’t want to get up and go to office .If the sheets had not been folded without crease I would have thought no one had been in the room since the last guest. Since I was running late to the show I did not have time to leave and find a new place. Worst motel ever and it cost over 120 a night and was full

Smelly Rooms

I requested a non-smoking room bc we don’t smoke but most importantly my child is allergic ao she can’t be around smoke but the whole room including the sheets, towels, etc smelled like cigarettes. The smell was so bad my kid had an allergy attack. We rented the room for 2 nights but we ended up going back home the next day because of what happened to my kid. Now, the front desk was very understanding, he apologized and said they will refund us but either way, the damage was already done.
