This is an excellent value for money while going skiing in the neighboring resorts. Breakfast is passable, don't expect excitement, the suites are very spacious, the pool is very basic but clean.

The hotel has been recently updated and is very clean and modern with lovely bespoke decorator details with a lovely open double lobby, pool and gym. I would highly recommend if you are in the area!

I arrived during a snow storm. I understand it was actively snowing and it was a pretty big storm. Their parking lot and their sidewalks were not maintained at all. They were basically handing out shovels to people to shovel a spot for themselves. I arrived with my kids and disabled mom. There was no handicapped access. All doors except for the main door were blocked with snow. The front entrance was covered in snow. Around a foot of snow. No shoveling or salt put down. The fire alarm kept on going off. The hotel and the rooms were cold and we could not adjust the temperatures. They cancelled the social hour on Monday night (This was the following day). I had to go out to get my family dinner. The parking lot and the sidewalks were still a complete mess. No shoveling was attempted on the sidewalks directly in front of the building. I slipped a lot on the ice. Nothing was taken care of. This was over 24 hours after we arrived and the storm had been over for 16 hours. The following day (the day we checked out) the parking lot and the sidewalks still were not cleared. The doors were still all blocked. There still was no handicap access to the building.

The room was ok. There was a square of wall missing by the bed. The walls were thin. The front desk people were not very sympathetic to people's situations. I was in the common area and I could hear them laughing and chatting at the desk about the people who were expecting the social hour appetizers.

The staff was very courteous, and the room was clean, however there was a bar of soap left in the shower that was not ours, so We are hopeful that the shower was cleaned and the bar of soap was just an oversight.. also, our reservation was for four people, but there were only three glasses, plates, forks etc in the unit. Thankfully we didn't need to use the majority of them.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights and was unfortunately very disappointed with the service and hygiene standards.
Multiple times, I requested additional or fresh towels and was simply told to continue using the ones already in the room. On the third day, when I asked again at the front desk, I was instructed to go find the housekeeping staff myself if I needed towels—which felt unprofessional and inconvenient.
Additionally, I observed the gentleman preparing the breakfast items handling food without washing his hands or wearing gloves, which raised serious concerns about food safety.
Overall, these issues made the stay uncomfortable, and I would not recommend this hotel based on my experience.

My room was not cleaned properly before my stay. My sofa bed had food crumbs and hair in it. When I brought it up with the front desk they said they can provide me with a vacuum so that I could vacuum it and gave me new bedding for me to put on it. Another person staying at the hotel had another issue with someone that was previous in their room having left behind dirty underwear that housekeeping didn't pick up. I doubt this hotel's housekeeping actually cleans the rooms.

The room itself was nice, and the place was clean. I'm grateful there was a breakfast but the food was pretty awful and most of it cold (3 days). The parking and walking areas were icy and not attended to. The ATM was out for at least 3 days. We did have a heater and phone issue in our room but the desk clerk came right up and attended to it, even offering a different room if necessary. I'd probably stay there again, but it would have to be a fairly cheap rate.

I think they are doing renovations because there were signs showing where your room is taped up with blue tape but maybe its always like that, falling apart even though they said it was just renovated, and not one person knows what they're doing but i think its always like that. No breakfast except one morning. Absolutely unacceptable! The shower doesnt look like its been clean in awhile, something disgusting dripped from the bathroom fart fan all over the toilet and walls daily, no soap in the womens bathroom downstairs ever because there wasnt even a container and noone ever put even a stand alone one in, only 1 out of 4 dryers worked, washing machines were kind of gross, workout facility was dirty. Tvs are old and pixelated. We were there for a week and honestly it was a disaster the entire time. The bed was comfortable and im glad we had a suite so we had plates and area to cook and eat.

Room was clean and outfitted, including a dishwasher. Staff wasn’t too bad. I wasn’t very happy with being able hear the entire conversations of the neighboring room, even though they weren’t being loud. The other thing that was an issue for me were no signs to stairs, there actually weren’t any signs to the elevator or to the rooms by numbers when you got off the elevator. Lastly, to actually charge an incidental fee then hold it for a week is ridiculous! I can’t say I’ll ever use this property again.

I stayed here multiple times in the past and I’ve always had a positive experience, and this time was nothing less. Our area was completely out of power, and I was able to get one of the last rooms available besides being overly booked, it did not take away from any of the superb service, cleanliness condition of the hotel was just renovated, and it looks fabulous. I was able to come to my with my dog and we were greeted immediately and showed to a room even though I showed up early before check-in. My room was spotlessly clean, fully stocked I was able to bring groceries from home that would have normally spoiled since we were out of power And cook dinner for my family. I love staying at this hotel, there are so many amenities that are so truly appreciated, the laundry room, the gym, the pool, the outside barbecue even though it’s winter we can’t use it. It’s so nice to see, the Office areas if I was planning to stay any longer I have more options to work from home. it’s just such a beautiful convenient hotel. There is even an outside area to walk my dog that is safe even though we are on a busy road. Breakfast was fabulous and I had everything I needed in my room to cook, make coffee, wash dishes the bathroom was spotless. Everything I needed was in the room. The only recommendation I would make is put bigger garbage pails in there, especially for longer stays thank you so much for an awesome experience. I will be back!

Very happy to have stayed in this hotel, the location was amazing everything was nearby. The room and the dining area was clean. Also the staff was very nice. If there were some things that I would change it would be that the TVs are not apple device friendly and I was unable to connect my phone to the tv to stream from my phone. Also the breakfast was delicious but it would be nice to have more choices. Lastly the kitchen in the room was amazing , it was very useful. I would definitely return.

Staff, amenities and the main areas of the hotel were under construction. It felt like a health hazard. This is the only hotel that asked for a waiver signature despite putting guests at risk for damages. Didn’t get to use the pool and they lied about breakfast being provided. We found out on arrival that breakfast was discontinued until further notice.

Well… There is a lot of construction going on which I was not aware of breakfast was canceled. No vending machines you had to get ice at the front desk. I got a kitchen, there’s no oven, utensils, drawers or pots or pans. We brought food and weren’t able to cook any of it. Staff was nice, but kind of not helpful with everything going on.

Our stay at the Staybridge was a mixed bag the room was very nice and had everything you could want. The property was unfortunately under construction when we went which we were able to look past. the breakfast is very nice but unfortunately ran out of coffee most mornings of our stay. But the biggest reason for the bad review is they still have not refunded the hold on the credit card after three weeks It is the holidays and now I’m worried about how I’m paying for thanksgiving.I was told by the hotel it was refunded in their system 4 days ago still no refund

We purchased our room through Dxpedia but also had my bridal party staying here. Hotel is under major construction in our lobby. They were jackhammering tiles and making me walk over smashed tiles to walk in. They left power tools in the lobby area plugged in overnight. You had to enter on one side of the hotel to check in, go back out and around the other side of the hotel to use the elevator. No hot breakfast options, only cold. You had to walk back outside and around to get to it. Room was fine, but they absolutely needed to close for a few days to get the renovations done. It's not just painting.

Hotels.com should have mentioned this hotel was under construction which interfered in first floor breakfast room, lobby and cleanliness of elevator. Also, the designated area for dog walking was filled with planks of wood and other material for the work being done. This made dog walks difficult, as well as unsafe.
I hope when the work is completed it will be a better environment.
The suite we stayed in was very nice, it was just missing a full length mirror. Other than that, it had almost all the comforts of home.

Sorry, the level of construction going on at this property should warrant a temporary closure of this business. The signage around the building directing one where to enter (just paper with arrows, out in the elements) just barely gets the job done. It was literally impossible to hear the person that checked me in behind the saws and drills. I felt bad for her. I am glad to say the room was clean, but the stairway (which one almost certainly had to use or you’d have to walk around to the other side of the building to use the elevator) was filthy..

Fall wedding anniversary get-away in the Poconos!

1. There is limited on-site parking, though free
2. Hand sanitizer dispensers were empty in buffet area AND nearby main lobby. Difficult to want to eat and enjoy free breakfast (unsanitary stations everywhere)
3. Stayed for 3 nights and not once did housekeeping service room (others had signs posted sleeping - ours did not). Too bad for housekeeping as we are HUGE

Very spacious room including full kitchen, living room, separate bedroom with bath. Nice sized walk in shower. Comfortable bed. Breakfast is usual, unfortunately no bacon or sausage included. Good coffee. Added amenity - every night there was complimentary snacks with beer and wine offered. We also liked that tge property is pet friendly. Currently undergoing renovations. We enjoyed the property so much that we reserved a room at another Staybridge Inn and suites later in the year
