The continental breakfast did not appeal to me. There was no signage on the juice dispenser which didn‘t seem to be operating at the time. There was no one there in the building where the continental breakfast was. My wife was going to have a bowl of cereal and there was cereal in a cereal dispenser but we couldn’t find milk for the cereal. If there was milk available there should be signage on where to locate it.

The room we initially got was filthy and smelled like mold. The wall next to one of the beds was covered with what looked like black fungus. There was also a live stink bug in the room. We were told the manager wouldn't be available until two days later. The receptionist sent in a maintenance guy who tried to brush it all off as minor details.

Ultimately, we were allowed to move to a similar, cleaner room, hence the two stars, instead of one. When we spoke to the owner/manager upon checkout, he said the black fungus on the wall is probably just dirt and he'd have it painted over.

Breakfast: no bacon, sausage or any kind of meat to go with the scrambled eggs. The plates were made of extremely thin, cheap-looking styrofoam. The juice dispenser was broken. Coffee and milk were available and tasted good.

The room looks as if it was thrown together piecemeal but very long ago. On a day where the weather was -5 degrees and high winds, we had frigid air coming into the room through a 2 inch wide gap between the door and frame. When we arrived the desk person, or manager, was not aware of the fact we paid for early check in, that was a bit off-putting. All in all the building looks old and in disrepair. The room had smells coming in from neighboring rooms as those doors had poor seals as well. There was a food truck from the neighboring restaurant blocking our view out of the room and our direct parking spot, which on a frigid day makes a difference. The room had little to no lighting, as it only had the night stand lights. The shower had barely any pressure and the bathroom door had a 6 inch gap on the bottom and was cut to pieces. I understand this is the cheapest place around but for $200 a night I expected something more civilized than an old run down fishing shack. We had to use a chair with our coats stood up against the door to block the wind coming in. to combat this we had to have the heater on high which dried out the room to desert levels and we were unable to sleep the entire night. If this is what you get for $200 I'd rather spend 3 or 4 to never have this type of experience ever again. There were cobwebs in abundance and dirt that fell from the ceiling into the bath tub from the stompy neighbors above, who shook what seems like the entire building - into late night.

We suspect we were burglarized at this establishment overnight, but the staff handled the situation with kindness and courtesy. Be aware that this is an area where you need to lock EVERYTHING. The room was not fully clean and breakfast was so-so, but you can't beat the price!

This hotel was absolutely disgusting. I got the keys and saw the room and gave the keys back immediately. So dirty and mold everywhere, holes in the walls, absolutely filthy. I will be putting them online so nobody has to experience this. I went to the front desk and spoke to Jay, he stated all rooms are the same. I’m disappointed and expect my money back

The bathroom tub did not have a stopper for the drain, after two days on the road craved a nice hot bath. No stopper available (they did offer to change our room) The guy who could provide a stopper due in next morning, bummer.

We did not stay. The room looked nothing like the images provide while booking on hotels.com. While the check-in staff was professional. The room was tidy but not well kept. The beds were not very comfortable. The balcony door was unlocked and partially open upon arriving. All in all, it was not as advertised to us upon booking through Hotels.com

I would like a complete refund. The ceiling was falling and the room door lock was broken. I requested a new room and was informed that there were no rooms available. The front desk staff sent a repairman man to fix the lock and we were told that the lock cannot be fixed. I check-in and checked out the same night. I would like a complete refund. This is a very dirty place. It is run down and gross. The room was dirty except for the bed. The external area did not feel safe. I would never stay here again. The breakfast area is a joke and the walls and light switches look like they haven’t been washed in 10 years years or even once. There was a nasty, sticky bug catcher hanging in the food area that looked like it was placed there ages ago. It was full of dead bugs. A really awful stay. Stay somewhere else.

There were all type of bugs and roaches in the room, in the shower, all over the room honestly. The toilet got clogged easily, it took over 2 hours to get a toilet plunger and on top of that they handed it to us instead of doing it. It was over all a terrible experience

The property is very run down. Our room had a balcony which had many areas of peeling paint making it unusable. The door to the balcony was not very secure. It was actually a bit ajar when we came in and we had to force it shut to lock it.
The room itself was fine except for the ants that were crawling on the air conditioner. Also, the shower/tub valve that controls the water was separating from the wall so that you had to hold it down while trying to turn on the water so that it wouldn't come off the wall.

Worst decision ever!

The bed sank in the middle as soon as I sat at the foot end of it, there was spider webs and dirt stains everywhere, the floor was wet! My wife went to check under the bed and her dress was wet from the floor! The entrance to the room wasn’t correctly sealed, you could see gaps of light from top to bottom and side to side, looked like the door been kicked in! The microwave looked like it was found in a yard sale by homeless people, the tv was made in 2010. Overall the stay was legit horrible and we tried to cancel it 2 mins after seeing it… still want my refund

Room was not what was listed in web site, it was old, dark and dirty. Light fixtures were broken, tiny TV, hair and dead bug was on the bathroom floor, stain on the bedding, no stoppers in the drains, and some mysterious stuff in the drawer. Just a mess.

As an Expedia Platinum member, I am extremely disappointed with how my reservation was handled. Expedia tried to contact the property manager multiple times to request a cancellation, but it was refused every time. It’s sad to see that the desire to make a quick buck came before customer satisfaction and basic human courtesy.

I was advised by the front desk that it would be fine to cancel my current reservation and book a new one, and that the property manager would approve it without issue.

However, when I followed that advice, the manager later refused to cancel the original booking, and I was forced to pay for both reservations. Very disappointing experience.

I called to find out about the three police cars sitting in front when I came back from dinner and was told somebody would call and let me know what was going on, but nobody ever called me back so I stayed locked in the room with the table against the door all night long.

The days inn in tannersville is a quiet hotel right off the highway. My wife and I were traveling for business and needed an inexpensive place to get some sleep and this place fit the bill. Going by the pics on Expedia I was expecting the room to be a little older. The parking lot was surprisingly empty but that added to the relaxation that we felt after check in. There is an old train car next to the front desk that doubles as a restaurant but we didn’t get a chance to eat there. Maybe next time. All in all it was a great night and very reasonably priced.

This hotel is a disaster!! We checked in and when getting to the room it was freezing and smelled awful! The balcony door would not close and was held shut with a cheap chain lock but one push and the whole thing moved and opened!!! Easily could have had someone break in. Second room was full of black mold in bathroom! We left and lost our room fee but stayed safely a few miles away at Hampton inn. Highly recommend you avoid this hotel!!!

The rooms online looked very nice. In person at least my room was disgusting. I’m surprised a reputable name like Wyndham is attached. The property is uneven broken pavement. The room was noisy from the outside highway and people hanging out. The bathroom was DISGUSTING. The mirror hadn’t been cleaned and was full of toothpaste, finger prints and snot. The toilet seat was cracked in half. The shower curtain rod was a makeshift DIY special that was bent so awkwardly that it didn’t stay in place so the whole bathroom flooded. I quickly left.

The place is safe, quiet and I like the view alongside the mountains. The room has no closet no mini kitchen and couch. continental breakfast is limited and no food for kids like pancake or waffle. Outside along the doors is stink.

Place is falling apart and has been for years. Stayed one night woke up to not being able to use the bathroom cuz Toilet overflowed got sent to a different room where you couldn’t even take a shower if you are over 5 ft 5! Curtain wouldn’t stay closed or open water everywhere. Only one washing machine and one dryer that’s costs $3 in change but they don’t have change to give you at the desk. I used to love coming here but now it’s just a crap hope cheap hotel. We couldn’t even enjoy the jacuzzi room we paid more for because we got moved due to flood and the jacuzzi was so loud it vibrated the whole room it was not soothing at all. This also changed. We stay here every 4 yrs or so.

This is my first time ever rating a property and I have to say please don’t ever take your family there we had to leave three hours after checking in couldn’t sleep and bed bugs crawling all over and biting us . It was in humane and should be shut down . be careful when u take the lights off they bit u everywhere
