Our room was a disaster. The heating unit was not functional, making it cold for us. The drain for the tub never went down so we had to shower in a filled tub. We told maintenance which took them almost 12 hours to get to us. He put Drano down the tub and that never worked. The telephone had no connection. And the heating unit he said “it is what it is”. I attempted to email and call the manager 3 times to resolve it with no resolution.

I have never seen such a dirty hotel! My family and I had an awful experience and found the hotel to be extremely dirty and unsanitary, I was shocked by the condition of the hotel based on the pictures and reviews online, the photos are extremely misleading. The lobby was dirty, the hallways were filthy with crumbs, food and trash, splatters on the walls, the furniture in the lobby is dirty and the ENTIRE HOTEL smelled awful of smoke! The smell was so strong in the hallway by our room despite the sign saying \"smoke free.\" The conditions at breakfast were horrible, the buffet was a mess and staff followed no sanitary precautions when refilling food stations. Staff let us into an \"overflow\" room because seating was so overcrowded which was an uncleaned meeting room that was even worse than the hallway! The rugs were covered in crumbs and dirt and overflowing trash. Our rooms bedding was dirty and stained, there was mold in the bathroom tiles. I was just so shocked that this is a Hilton property in this condition. We left our stay 1 day early because we could not tolerate the awful smell, reported it to the front desk and the manager and am pursuing a complaint with the health department.

The parking lot was full of ice. Only the driving lanes were clear not the actual spaces so walking was very hazardous. The pool was closed the entire time because of a broken heater. They told us the pool would be fixed before we left but of course that was a lie (holidays, part was on order, etc.). The ice machines were broken on every floor. The first floor bathroom was partially out of order and never fixed. Only 1 out of 2 elevators were working. Only 2 towels were provided in a room meant for 4 people so we had to make a special trip downstairs once we were already settled.

Breakfast was ok but old lady attendant was rude and radiated negative energy to the whole area. Not enough seats were available for people to eat.

Housekeeping was supposed to come every other day but never came to our room during our 4 day stay even though we called twice to make sure. Front desk attendant on 2nd shift said it \"wasn't her problem to fix\".

Avoid this place!!! We come to PA every year for new years weekend and will definitely not stay here again.

We usually love hampton inn. But this specific one was not the same. It was messy most of the time amd missing things at breakfast and tea station. Front desk staff incredibly rude and refused to help with smallest requests. When there was no hot water and after waiting for 20 mins for someone to appear at the front desk, a person came and said that she can not bring hot water, when I asked who can he started yelling and called someone and said she will not service me bc I am rude. Another person came and she was incredibly dimeaning and told me to calm down and to leave the front desk or she will throw me out of the hotel. I said she xan not, she zaid \"watch me\" and called the police. All bc I asked for hot water for my 2 kids. The police came. They said they agree that is it rediculous and uncalled cor, but if staff doesn't want us there, we havs to leave. It was a clear show of power of front desk staff bc they did not want to do their job. I will not be returning to Hampton inn ever again, although we stayed there conzistently over.the years. Shame shame shame on this property. Should really choose who you.hire

When we checked in at the hotel, they gave us a room with a double bed in a handicapped room. I booked and paid for a king size bed with a sofa in the room months ago. They said that when you book a room, you only get a room and it might not be the one that you booked. This is the first time I have heard this which is a bunch of crap as much as I travel.

Rug in the 2nd floor smelled overwhelmingly disgusting of old cigarettes. This gross odor seeped into our room. I mentioned it to the desk clerk downstairs. He pretended to call maintenance, but nothing was attempted. There was a sign in the lobby that said, “cleaning only happens every other day. The pool was full of mold growing on the bottom, the warming bin in the breakfast room was filthy from the day. The next morning it was more filthy, could have been wiped/cleaned throughout the morning.

Even though I reserved and paid for a room with 2 queen size beds for 2 adults, I was given a room with one single bed. When I showed the staff at hotel my reservation, they said they were full and could not give me the room I reserved and paid for. When I asked for a refund, I was told that because I made the reservation through a 3rd party app, they could not do anything. Then why did you accept the reservation. Staff was flat meaning not happy or conversational. I got handed a key and had to ask about breakfast, amenities, etc.
The room was dirty and the toilet was dangerously extra low.
One time we exited the elevator to have a big dog come at us. The woman who had him on a leash could hardly pull him back. I don’t want dogs in a hotel in the first place, but at the very least they should be required to have a no bite muzzle on. I guess someone will have to get bit and sue for hotels to enforce this common sense measure.
Also, they had a handwritten sign on a whiteboard in the lobby as you entered saying housekeeping is done every other day not daily. In other words, the staff is tired of being asked about it. They might try smiling and a kind word to make the stay a little bit nicer.

This was my second stay at this property, and both times I booked a king room. Unfortunately, on both occasions, the king rooms were overbooked, and I was placed in a smaller room. I understand this can happen, and the staff was able to move me once a king room opened.

However, this time the new room I was given was a connecting room (which I had specifically requested not to have) and the AC was broken. I asked to be moved back to my original room, as I preferred a smaller room with working AC over a larger one without.

Additionally, one day while I was in the middle of a shower, the water completely shut off. When I contacted the front desk, I was told maintenance was working on it and that service would be restored soon.

Despite these issues, the staff was kind and accommodating, and the facilities overall were good.
