There were no bags in the trash cans and the hand soap and conditioner were almost empty when we first got there. I had to call 2 times for more hand soap before it was brought. Walls were a little bit thin and we could hear a kid screaming next door from 7:00 am to 8:00 am. Otherwise room was clean and comfortable and the view was awesome. The breakfast buffet was really impressive and delicious, but it's not included in the cost of the room and is expensive. Plus you're serving yourself all the food except for the beverages, which a waiter has to bring to you, and then you must give a tip, 18%, which they include in the bill automatically. The last day we ate breakfast sandwiches at the cafe in the hotel instead of going to the buffet, which was about half the price and still really good food. We had dinner two nights at the Trails End cafe. The first night we had a great meal there and service was really good. The second night something went wrong and the wait was insane. We had to wait 40 minutes to get a table, and then after getting seated and ordering we waited another 45 minutes just for the appetizer. As skiers, the location of the hotel right on the slopes was perfect. We were able to go straight out of the hotel door, put on skis, and get on the ski lift right there, which was fun and extremely convenient. Overall, despite a few flaws, we had a good stay.

It is obvious that the staff is trying hard but there are obvious budget restrictions that adversely affected the stay. It took 5 requests to finally get an extra blanket for our room, the room was superficially clean but there was a feminine hygiene product under the dresser. At 8pm on a Friday night there was only one restaurant/bar on the FAR side of the property. The water park was nowhere near 84 degrees and at one point there were extremely cold drafts, and the water was luke warm, even in the hot tub.

The water park closed at ridiculous times -- 7pm on a Friday and Saturday! This severely limited our visit and we only made it once in three days as a result.

Younger kids probably would still have a great time, but my teens were not impressed and we will probably not try this one again unless it's just for skiing.

Again -- the staff and managers were excellent and tried really hard, but it was abundantly obvious that they were extremely short staffed and that they were running a shoestring budget -- not what you expect for a thousand dollar weekend.

The water park is easy to navigate and has tons of bathrooms. Unfortunately, there is only one food place inside the water park and it had long lines all day.
The rooms are quite spacious and offer a refrigerator and microwave. It was quite convenient to have both in our room.

An acceptable stay, but nothing stands out as particularly impressive. The parking was a terrible experience, but they did take the parking fee off the final bill. Had to park 1/4 of a mile down from the entrance.
The pool (according to my wife and daughter) was very chemical heavy, and the swim up bar wait for service was almost an hour.
In a nutshell; overpriced and understaffed.

paid for a room upgrade to a two bedroom suite. Only to be told at check-in that the resort overbooked the two bedroom suites and my upgrade which was paid for a week earlier would no longer be honored. This caused an issue with plans made for guests coming. They had to scramble and make arrangements for lodging at last minute. I did not bid on the upgrade I opted to pay the upgrade offer price. There was no mention of this change until check in. I feel that this was a real crumby thing to do. The hotel had no problem getting in touch with me for the “birthday” package and cabana rental but with this they opted to bounce my upgrade for more $$ from another party. I would recommend not offering such upgrades if the resort will cancel upon demand at any given time. Very unfortunate. Room is nice but was not what was booked. The inconvenience caused and lack of communication on the room change could most definitely have been avoided. Expedia should not offer room upgrades if they will not be honored by the resort if demand for a certain night increases.

We actually stayed away for two years because it felt like the upkeep had declined after it used to be our number one spot. When we came back, we were pleasantly surprised by how much had improved. The upgrades are noticeable, and the cleanliness is much better.

They’ve also done a great job including younger kids with afternoon activities inside the hotel. We had such a blast with my son, and he especially loved the drawing contest and the dance party.

Of course, since it’s a ski-focused resort, the crowd naturally leans toward older kids and outdoor activiies which are so much fun. There is a waterpark inside, but once that closes for the day, there used to be limited options for younger children beyond the arcade, which could get repetitive. That’s why it was so nice to see the added activities this time. They really made a difference and helped make the experience more enjoyable for families with younger kids

I think they can get more employees for faster service, especially in the food/drinks areas at the indoor waterpark. It took me 1 hr in a line to get my food and about 40 minutes to get be a drink at the bar. They should know is a huge resort and it is always full. They should do better at that area.

The rooms were clean and cozy, and the amenities covered all the basics needed for a relaxing trip. The location was great for easy access to the slopes, which made the stay even more enjoyable.

Was not impressed with my stay. The fact that hotel guests have to pay $25 for parking and day guests don't have to pay at all is absurd and backwards. Also it is listed on hotels.com that there is an indoor pool but we were told there was no indoor pool. That was one of the reasons I booked this hotel. The wave pool could have been cleaner. A lot of arcade games broken down. Loading the card with money would say that it didn't go through and yet I was still charged. Cashed in my tickets for a prize to find out that all I got was an empty box when I got home. Hotels.com says the breakfast buffet is between 14 and $22 but it's actually almost 30 and the food was cold. The room was very clean however. The water park closes early for 2 weeks in march so that was a bunmer. The restaurants and shops should stay open later and open earlier especially when there are many guests. This was my first time there and I don't know if I would return.

Enjoyed the upgrade (paid) to the 2 bedroom. Beautiful view of the slopes from the floor leveled outdoor terrace. Great location to the arcade and indoor waterpark. Unfortunately, our fire place didn’t work. Called, but nobody came.

Went snow tubing during the evening. Picked a great time, less crowds. It became crowded shortly after. 2nd day (Saturday) was spent at the indoor waterpark. Very crowded!! Suggest getting there before 10:30 am to find a table / chairs or book a cabana. There was nothing left by noon.

Next time I will know how to plan better, we enjoyed ourselves and plan to return during the summer months to check out the outdoor activities.

Shuttles are convenient when it’s crowded & parking.

We stayed for 3 days and unfortunately experienced several issues that made our stay disappointing. Firstly, I paid an additional $50 to upgrade our room, which was advertised as including a balcony, a larger dining table, and a fireplace (as stated in the room description online). However, when we arrived, the room only included one of those features. Paying extra for an upgrade and not receiving the amenities that were advertised was frustrating. Secondly, the website states that hotel guests receive snow tubing at a discounted rate of $20 per person. However, when I booked at the activities counter, I was charged $40 per person and was told that this was the “discounted rate.” At the same time, the same $40 price was listed online for non-hotel guests, which made the advertised discount appear misleading. Another issue was the temperature in the water park. On 2 out of the 3 days we were there, it was so cold inside that my children and I were shivering, which made it difficult to enjoy the experience. Additionally, guests should be aware that the hotel charges $53 per day in resort fees and $25 per day for self-parking, which significantly increases the cost of the stay. I stayed here once before several years ago and had a better experience, which is why this visit was particularly disappointing. The property does have great amenities for families, but the issues we encountered during this stay left a bad impression.

Emailed regarding my trip. Tons of things were closed or opened layer then listed. Including night time snow tubing. We were told due to the low occupancy it wasnt worth it for them to be open. But i paid the same price as everyone else does. The main thing we went up there to do was the night time lighted snow tubing. Our room was jnfested with lady bugs, the safe didnt work, cigarette butts and ashes all over the balcony.

My boyfriend and I stayed for 4 night 5 days very nice staff. The indoor water park was a blast the hot tub wasn’t very hot more like bath water but still a great time. Parking was a bit hard but we managed. The only thing was the room was quite dusty and had a strange smell when the heat was on. We were missing a shower liner as well and the pillow cases were definitely not clean or replaced and had stains and with that dust and a few little hairs when we moved the pillows from the top of the bed. Foundation on the comforter led me to believe that all the bed stuff was glanced over and just left from the last ppl since i do not wear makeup. Called down and just asked for clean sheets to be brought up but other than that bathroom very nice we had a balcony with a view of the slopes and the tubing was definitely one of my favorites. Do just wish i didn’t receive two dirty beds after spending so much money but win some you lose some. over all a good first time at camelback back

Stayed here on a Thursday- Saturday. Crowds were obviously way less on Thursday and I don’t think I would ever stay here on the weekend- lines and waiting times get insane and prices double. The room smelled like an old college dorm which was very unpleasant and it was definitely worn down. Stain on the shower curtain. Staff was nice and kids had a great time at the water park!

No parking at arrival and missed Snow tubing with my family-the whole reason we went.

No food in the restaurant-out of Fish, Chicken, Onion rings, special drinks both Saturday and Sunday

No one answered the phone for the dining experiences for an entire month before our trip-was told by Trails End Manager they had no phone and no phone line-he had to install it the day before my trip.

Also told by trails end manager he had to drive and get french fries for the entire hotel because no one even had fries.

Had to sit separately from family because had to make separate bookings because no one would answer the phone or return messages

waitress on our second night at the restaurant had a poor attitude

food and drinks on night 2 reservation was so bad we sent back 2 meal and a drink

We reserved a room for 5 people and were given 3 towels

The room phone did not work to call housekeeping or the front desk to request things in the room

We did not have fitted sheets on our bed.

Took a while to get the luggage carts.

Arcade has no unlimited game cards and is over priced

Overall this hotel was very poorly run. They were understaffed and the property bids not have enough spots to accommodate the number of people vacationing.

This place is great!! The staff is super helpful and super nice! It’s a great place for families for sure! But even if you’re going as a couple or group of adults you can still have fun! Views amazing! Only complaint is the beds. Yeah I know yikes! Not sure if it was just our room but man probably some of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve slept on and I travel a lot. Still, it’s a great spot. Would recommend you at least try once.
