The location is excellent. Within a 2 minute walking distance of a supermarket and half a dozen food establishments.
With an Ibis budget you know what you are going to get. What I didn't expect was a skip outside, a lobby full of building materials and a staircase covered in building mess and smells. Oh, and the builders started hammering and sanding at 0800 on a Saturday morning.
The room was as expected, no issues but an email to say that building work was going on would have given me the choice to go elsewhere or not.

When I go to France I do stay in ibis hotel before but never in Rennes but this hotel was bad from the first time I arrived they did not had my booking because my name was spelled wrong and I had difficulty communicating with the staff of this hotel because they don't speak inglês at the end I had to phone the emergency number it was at the door.then I got the room number 102 smelled of cigarettes the hallway was bad but very bad smell of cigarettes the shower was not working and not towels for 3 people but only 2 because we arrive late they didn't had a reception person the man who open the door for us was drunk and smell of wine very bad experience on this hotel I will not recommend this hotel to anyone because off the bad smell.

Même le personnel de ménage est souriant et poli, ce qui peut montrer l'implication de tous les acteurs de cet hôtel. Tout s’est bien passé jusqu’au moment du petit dej ! Annoncé jusqu’à dix heures trente et à neuf heures cinquante tout était rangé, puis qu’apparemment en semaine c’est jusqu’à 9h30. La personne de l’hôtel a eu la bienveillance de nous proposer du café du jus de pomme et qq viennoiseries, très gentil et gêné par l’erreur des horaires sur le site

Chambre refaite à neuf, un peu petite pour 3 adultes. L'accès au lit du haut est plus qu'acrobatique. Petit déjeuner plus que correct.

Alles okay, aber das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen. Die Klimaanlage war bei über 30 Grad sehr hifreich, das Bad war ein Duschklo und dadurch recht unkomfortabel.

Hôtel réservé pour une nuit et c’était déjà une nuit de trop. Pourtant ayant déjà pratiqué d’autre ibis budget par le passé je pensais savoir à quoi m’attendre mais au final non!
La salle de bain est ultra exiguë avec une douche à rideau et sans pommeau de douche. L’eau coule donc obligatoirement d’en haut ( pas pratique du tout quand On ne veut pas se mouiller les cheveux meme s’ils proposent des bonnets de bains à l’accueil) la température de l’eau se règle avec les robinets du lavabo se qui n’est pas du tout pratique.
