It was a one night stop en routes to Cherbourg. We had been delayed for 4 hours around Bourdeaux.. The hotel were great and had no problems with us arriving after midnight.. Front of house Damien made us feel welcome and was happy to serve me a couple of beers..

We stayed at the Brit Hotel in Granville the night before and liked it, so we booked again for Rennes. This one was not as nice and didn't have as many amenities in the room. Also, the area didn't seem to be walking distance to anything. The room was comfortable though, and they had free parks by.

We just made a short overnight stop here after an evening ferry crossing to Cherbourg before heading south the next morning. We didn't eat at the hotel but it was fine as somewhere to break our journey on the outskirts of Rennes.

We arrived late (midnight), having taken the ferry to Caen. The reception was manned, and he spoke very good English. He did inquire if we wanted breakfast, but we declined, since had a early start.
Room was as expected, quiet and comfortable and what we expected. It was clean, and had a reasonable sized en-suite.

I booked Brit Hotel Rennes because it was stated on thew website to be 0.3km from the centre of Rennes. However, I spent a long time looking and walking
before I found the the Brit Hotel was ca 5km from Rennes central. Thus unhappy.

Reasonable hotel which is easy to get to just inside the city ring road. The breakfasts were good but didn't offer any hot food selection. The dinner in the hotel restaurant was excellent.

They had the very bad idea of making very small bathrooms. The shower space is approx. 1 m² wich is a very bad point at 79 € per night as normal fare. Otherwise, the room is clean and the location is calm. They offer free wifi.

Very easy to find from the ring-road. Bus service to town convenient & frequent (reduced tickets at the hotel). Wifi easy to use. Staff at reception very friendly & helpful, keen to use English. Dinner was good, with a wide selection of menus & prices. Didn't have breakfast but a lovely bakery / cafe 100m up the road.

étant de passage a rennes je me suis arrété au brit hotel proche de la rocade bon acceuil bien dormi et bon petit déjeuné le soir j'ai diner dans un resto proche il y a du choix a 10 mn a pied !!( le resto de l'hotel était fermé le vendredi soir donc bon séjour !!

C'est notre 5 ème séjour, très bon rapport Qualité-Prix le week-end, légèrement excentré, a 15mn du centre ville en voiture, grand parking non fermé, bus juste en face de l'hôtel, quartier très calme, accueil et propreté bien, petit déjeuner très bien.

bon séjour dans l'ensemble, par contre salle de bains totalement inappropriée, douche à l'italienne entourée d'un rideau qui nous colle à la peau quand on utilise cette dernière et de plus wc installé dans le mauvais sens qui à pour conséquence que l'on a les pieds dans la douche quand on l'utilise !! Pas pratique du tout et inconfortable. Par contre literie de qualité, insonorisation bonne petit déjeuner de qualité. Par contre devant retourner sur Rennes au mois de novembre pour plusieurs jours, il est bien évident que je ne retournerais pas dans cet établissement si je devais avoir la même salle de bain à disposition.

Moins bien sur le confort de la chambre un peu exigüe pour deux personnes, pas de couvertures supplémentaires,salle de bain exigüe également,cabine de douche qui mériterait d'être remplacée.78€ pour un confort moyen dans un hôtel loin du centre c'est un peu cher.

Hotel correct et bien tenu, même si le restaurant arrête de servir trop tôt, mais pas de problème car il y a un restaurant à coté qui est très bon et ouvert plus longtemps.
J'ai demandé s'il y avait un minibar pour avoir de l'eau, on m'a répondu non pour me vendre une bouteille à la réception, alors qu'une bouteille d'eau offerte m'attendait sur le bureau dans la chambre.

Här går man ut med att man har restaurang men glömmer att den är stängd från mitten Juli till slutet av Augusti. På frågan var man kunde äta så blev vi hänvisade till grannrestaurangen. Den var också stängd. Receptionen var inte intresserad att svara på frågan om var man hade närmaste restaurang. Så snorkig som en Fransman bara kan bli, bara franska. Tips gå över stora vägen så ligger en jätte bra Italiensk restaurang, bra mat och bra priser, men det viste inte hotellet. Duschen är liten, knappt
för en normal svensk. Rummen är pyttesmå. Inget att rekomendera.
