Good communication. We called in advance to say we were arriving quite late. We were given clear instructions regarding codes and how to get in. We had issues with another hotel that didn’t have a contact number, so I truly appreciate the fact that it was possible to call and speak to a member of staff before arriving. The room was very clean and we slept very well to continue our journey the next day.

Great for an overnight stop on route to southern Spain. Great parking on site which was important for us. It looks like it has recently been renovated and was very clean. Lovely staff and a few restaurants within a 5 minute walk.

Hard to find the hotel because the address given on the hotel.com confirmation was incorrect. Tried to call but receptionist couldn’t give directions. Had to activate a travel plan on my cell phone to be able to look up the information on google. Small room was stark but adequate. Bathroom was tiny and the bathtub was slippery with nothing to hol onto. Both my husband and I almost slipped getting out twice. And my husband slipped and fell into the tub in the dark in the middle of the night cause it was so small and the door blocked the toilet. Front desk seemed unconcerned. Breakfast and dinners were very good except that the restaurant part was closed for dinner on the weekend and there were few choices nearby (had to drive). Inner city of Tours was impossible to drive on the weekend.

Good hotel for breakfast/dining and car paring

Room was decent, clean.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Wifi was powerful.
Good breakfast and dining, especially the dinner was in good quality and very reasonable price, really recommended!
Good car parking area.
Only shortcoming is without an elevator, so the luggage has to be carried by hand upstairs, fortunate the highest lever is the 2nd.

Travelling with two 15 year old girls. The room was dark and dingy, it smelt, the double bed was as hard as rock and the pillows were like bricks. The beds for the girls were tiny z beds with no proper bedding - thought we were getting two doubles! Overlooked a huge rubbish bin. The bathroom was ok and I swear bigger than the bedroom! Thank goodness we were only staying overnight en-route.

We used it as a stop off on our way to Portugal. The area deserved more time to explore. Only negative comment is the carpets in the communal areas need some attention. Big plus the staff were great even to ignorant Brits with no language skills. Food very good.

Stop off on way back to UK. Convenient to motorway, efficient reception, good room with proper beds for 3 (not convertible). Very good restaurant in road round the back, excellent burgers (high quality)

Room was okay, clean and relatively convenient. People booking the hotel should know that only one side of the hotel has air conditioners. We thought we had booked a room with a/c, but that was not the case. The first room was hot, faced a highway and had no screens. Luckily another room was available, at an additional fee.

Perfect for a short stay in Tours

Stayed overnight with my 2 sons and my sister, the staff is very welcoming, the room as expected (3 single beds and one double for my sister). It was easy to find, near the airport but not exposed to any noise level and 10 15 minutes from the city center. Breakfast was good quality and prices are very competitive. There is a very nice wine merchant around the corner with an extensive collection of local wines.

GOOD STOP OFF ON JOURNEY

The hotel is close to the A10 motorway and on the RN10 road, we have used it a few times now when returning from trips to Spain.
Nice clean modern hotel, with attentive staff.
It is close to a tram station for travel to Tours centre.

Easy to access the Loire Valley

Came here to visit the infamous Loire Valley for its history, classic French countryside and fortresses. The Inter-Hotel La Terrasse is a better version of Motel 6, and its not a bad place to stay for family. The pro is the location, where its in relatively close vicinity to most major attractions of the valley, while the con is the lackluster breakfast, which is overpriced.

do not reserve a queen bed

Nice hotel, nice place around. Not far from Tours.
Good breakfast (buffet).
However, we reserved a room with a queen bed (expected to be a big bed 1m80 or more), and we had a small bed (I guess 1m40).
The hotel said that they only have this kind of bed, although we paid more expensive this type of room. I'm disaoppointed.

The term industrial estate (which can be quite off putting a) should read retail park, where you can find restaurants and shops of all descriptions.
Pleasant, comfortable and well priced.

Handy for the motorway and the N10.\n

We have stayed at this hotel 3 or 4 times before when it was a Comfort Hotel.
Average 3✴ hotel but has been nicely refurbished.
Restaurant is not open on Saturday nights, which is when we stayed but there are restaurants within walking distance.
Near to a new tram stop for anyone who wants to go into town.

On an Industrial estate but great for \"En Route\".

At first I was disappointed that it was on an industrial estate so couldn't walk to anything but then decided to stay in anyway so OK. the room does NOT have aircon but it wasn't too hot. Might be an issue in August. The car park is secure and that's a big plus point for me. The room is basic like a Campanile hotel but immaculately clean and the small bathroom was adequate with a very powerful shower. The staff are lovely and dinner was great value and good quality. I will stay again.

The hotel is in a very good condition, neat and tidy but the air condition is not working. The staff is OK, services such as laundry is OK location is handy as it is close to transport to the city. The breakfast is reasonable for the price they are charging. I can recommend this with a condition to check if the air con system is working before confirning the booking.

Hotel rooms and hallway were being repainted. Smell of drying paint was terrible. Moved us to second floor but hotel did not have a lift. My wife has to walk with a crutch which made climbing the stairs very difficult. Hotel should have cancelled our reservation and put us up at another hotel but did not.

Little off the beaten path, but good for money

The hotel is about 4K from the gare so if you don't have a car you'd probably want to take a taxi (~15 Euro) or the bus. The bus was very convenient to use getting in and out of town except that the last one runs early evening. Staff was incredibly helpful and nice, room was clean and comfortable. Only negative for us was the distance from the center of town, but it was worth the money! We just used the bus..

Nous avons passé un séjour d'une nuit dans l'hôtel car bloqué à Tours à cause de la fermeture des stations service. Nous avons été très bien accueillis par le personnel de l'hôtel et la chambre (3 personnes) était très confortable avec deux pièces permettant une séparation entre notre enfant et nous, les parents. Le petit déjeuner était copieux. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour malgré les circonstances. A recommander sans hésiter.

Vraiment décevant. 40ºC dehors et les chambres ne sont pas climatisés, pas de ventilations non plus. Il faut demander à l’accueil si vous voulez un ventilo. La douche qui fait un sifflement qui empêche de dormir.
Literie moyenne et jaunie, donc très vieillot. Pas de drap simple c’est couette d’hiver ou rien.
Un point positif pour la grande douche. Le personnel est sympa et aux services. Mais l’hôtel est décevant pour un 3 étoiles et pas beaucoup de choix aux petit dej.
En gros je ne reviendrais pas.
