Relatively easy to find on outskirts of Caen. No evening meals only breakfasts. There's an Aldi just across the road or a McDonald's, 25 min walk or drive for anything else.
Perfectly adequate for an overnight stop. Decent on site parking.

This is an older hotel and so felt a little tired but was fine for a one night stop We were catching the early morning ferry back to the UK and so the location of the hotel was perfect. The early morning drive to the ferry only took about 20 mins, great.

A very tired hotel! All Decoration including painted concrete walls , curtains and carpets could do with renewal. Staff were extremely hospitable. Beds and bedding were very clean which is very important. Location very noisy when windows are open.

Basic hotel but very affordable for our budget. There is a McDonald's across the street and easy access to the freeway. Breakfast is 12 Euros which is not cheap for what you get. U need a car for this hotel. Friendly helpful staff. Its a good base to explore Normandy without staying at an expensive hotel closer to the D Day Beaches. There is a Lidl a short distance away. I would stay here again if I have a vehicle.

Hôtel un peu décevant mais bien situé

L'hôtel est situé près d'un supermarché, de plusieurs boulangeries, de station essence, etc. L'hôtel est facile à trouver. Mais il y a des choses décevantes. Tout d'abord, sur les photos des chambres, on peut voir une bouilloire avec des tasses, mais en fait ce n'est pas le cas. Il n'y a pas de plateau de courtoisie dans les chambres. Le lit était assez confortable. Mais la propreté laisse à désirer. Par exemple, il y a des oreillers supplémentaires en haut de l'armoire. L'un des oreillers était sans taie, jaune et sentait mauvais et l'autre avait une taie mais avait une odeur. Les chambres ont besoin d'être rénovées et modernisées. Mais c'était pratique de loger dans cet hôtel en raison de son emplacement.

Worn and dreary but comfortable

Hotel was OK, but needs work to bring it up to date. Shabby and worn is best way to describe it. No lift. Dark in parts and dreary. Carpets unclean and unhygienic, need to be changed to wooden floors. Grouting on bathroom tiles needs replacing and shower old and doors need deep clean or replacing. Decor old and dull, with many holes the the walls. However, beds were clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities provided. Reception friendly and helpful.

Tired and in desperate need of refurbishment

The hotel is a little tired and in desperate need of refurbishment. In saying that, it was practical although I found the automated key card system annoying and the digital entry system baffling as it took ages before I worked out the system. All these grate when you have been travelling for a long time, tired and in need of your bed. Sadly it doesn't improve the service aspect of your stay.

Poor value - zero communication

On arrival I was not told that there was not restaurant throughout the whole of the weekend. I had no car, and it is miles from Caen. I was told there is a McDonald and a Chinese restaurant over the road - it turned out that the Chinese restaurant was closed until 7 Aug (over a month after I had left!). If I had known that the restaurant was shut I would not have booked - I do not use UberEats (the answer I was told when I complained on leaving!) and my French is not good enough to book a taxi and try what I could find in Caen.
On Monday I wanted a beer at 6pm and was told that the bar did not belong to the hotel so they could not sell me one until it opened at 7pm!
Overall - the hotel was clean but not great - little / no availability of disinfectant cleaner for hands etc. Nothing at all in the room in terms of disinfectant.
There was a kettle in the room - that did not fit in the sink so water spilled out when trying to fill it. There were no cups or coffee / tea - this was only available from the reception area - which I had to find for myself. When my colleague arrived late on Sunday he had to log himself in via key pad but had no access to the coffee / cups until the next morning! Why not leave a set in the room!
The food in the restaurant was not good - over seasoned, poor quality, not hot and not clean crockery e.g. most breakfast cutlery was not clean from dishwasher or glasses.
Overall very poor and we will not book here again.

I was at front of hotel and despite a busy road outside - I did not hear the traffic. If you had the window open it may have been audible. But a flat roof outside so not safe to leave window open. Clean shower and bathroom.

A one night stay after the ferry crossing from Portsmouth. Good hotel, handy for ferryport and all necessary requirements met, ie; clean room, comfortable bed, car park, wi-fi. Because the ferry was late arriving it meant that the hotel would be closed by the time we arrived. I e-mailed the hotel and explained the situation and by return had a reply giving me instructions about how to access the hotel with a code through the night entrance, together with information about our room number and the key - all good. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We were given a warm welcome. The situation was ideal as we had just come from the ferry. The room was clean and comfortable and the shower room really modern. The hotel did not have a lift and we were 3rd floor. I had not thought to check if there was a lift but as I have difficulty with steps this was a bit of a problem, Also there were no lights on our corridor and as we arrived late it was just as well my husband had a torch so we could find our room number. He reported this fault and they noted it.

Good for early start to catch ferry

Staff helpful. Carpets getting a bit worn and therefore difficult to look clean, but was clean and tidy inside. Nice to have tea/coffee and washing items.

Easy to find, close to supermarket (30 second drive, [E Leclerc])), huge hyper market (10 minute drive [Cora]), garage, restaurants. Perfect stopover for the ferry port (20 minute drive). Handy too for D-Day tourism and Bayeux tapestry.
Rooms are basic but comfortable.
Extremely reasonably priced.

The room was filthy. The ceiling in the shower was covered in mould. the sheets did not smell like they had been changed and the bin was covered in unknown fluids and body hair. could not sleep at all.

We last time we stayed in this hotel was about 16 years ago when it was a Primevere The room we stayed in on the ground floor had not been updated since then. Wood chip wallpaper, orange colour walls and a very outdated bathroom suite. However it was very clean.

First impression from the outside was not encouraging as it looked neglected, this was confirmed on entering reception. The corridor leading to our room was \"dark and dingy\" and the room was very small. Tea and coffee was supplied but only 2 small milk cartons, when I asked reception for more I was informed that each additional carton was 20cents!!!

Breakfast was an additional charge of 10 euros each and was not worth the money.

The staff were excellent. The hotel fabric felt a bit tired and there was a whiff of stale cigarette smoke in the room despite the no smoking signs. The fittings were reasonable. The bed needed more over the protective plastic covering than just a sheet: it made the bed feel hot and sticky.

It is right off the highway and across the street from McDonalds. My spouse and I ate dinner at the Hotel. Good quality and reasonably priced. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Get the handicapped room if you want a bathtub or a spacious room. Overall I was very satisfied. My only complaint was Hotel was dated but, it was very clean! My spouse and I stayed here with my 12 children ranging from 2 to 24 years old.

Séjour globalement décevant : Une chambre qui m'est attribuée à mon arrivée finalement non nettoyée. La carte de la chambre qui m'est attribuée finalement ne fonctionne pas le 2e jour et on me répond que la carte a surement été réglée sur 1 nuit (alors que j'en avais réservé 2).
En terme de matériel, la moitié des chaines de la télé ne fonctionne pas.

la chambre 45, sous les combles santait horriblement la cigarette. Le store du velux fermait mal, le jour passait. Tout est vieux : la moquette sale et comme brûlée, la salle de bain moisie dans les coins. Besoin urgent de restaurer entièrement cette chambre.
La litterie confortable, les oreillers également.
La jeune fille blonde le matin à l’accueil tres sympathique, agréable et souriante.
Un accueil exceptionnel et très professionnel. Aux petits soins. Un grand merci à elle !

Hôtel vieillissant la moquette est dans son jus, la salle de bain des années 90, la douche remplie de moisissures, Rideau dans la chambre tient par magie. Petit déjeuner sans choix, plus de jus d’orange à la machine. Je ne prendrait plus de chambre chez Kyriad chaîne qui ne fait aucuns investissements dans ses établissements.

Hotellet velbeliggende i forhold til udflugter, let tilgængelige omfartsveje. Hotellet dog ganske slidt. Værelset og bad havde fin størrelse og indretning, og håndklæder og linned var fint rent og blev skiftet tilfredsstillende. Men rengøringen mangledes i krogene, vinduet o.s.v.Morgenmaden var skuffende, ikke mindst i lyset af prisen. Fin parkering.

Accès compliqué deux nuits de suite. obliger.d appeller le responsable. Qui lors de la deuxième nuits.nous avons cru devoir dormir dans notre voiture devant l hotel .appeler 5 fois . Trapper sur la chambre du responsable de l hotel. Il nous a répondu au bout de 20 mn. Nous étions chez des amies et nous sommes arrivées au environ de 2h du matin .
nous lui avons demandé des explications. Rep: notre carte n avais pas été réactivée pour la deuxième nuit. Pensant qu on avait réservé qu une seule nuit .manque de professionnalisme tout même .

Très bon hôtel pour une nuit étape sur la route des vacances.
Nous sommes arrivés après l'heure, et la machine ne trouvais pas notre réservation, mais quelqu'un à répondu à la sonnerie et nous a donné notre chambre qui nous attendais. A cinq minutes près, je crois que la chambre aurait été donnée à quelqu'un d'autre qui espérait une chambre alors que l’hôtel était plein.

Notre senour c est bien passé par rapport a d autres kiriad celui ci etait vetuste pas de clim quelle déception ! Je n avais pas vu a la reservation sinon je n aurais surement pas pris, et petite deception aussi au petit dejeuner j avais dit a la famille qu il goûterai le frozen yaourt glacé ben il n y en avait pas 😞par contre le lit et les coussins confortables. Un bon coup de rafaichissement et c est reparti pour un tour!

Pas de climatisation, ni ventilateur. Nous avons appelé le jour d'arriver pour savoir si on pouvait avoir une chambre moins ensoleillée?
la réceptionnistes nous a répondu avec beaucoup d'agressivité comme au marché \" tout est déjà distribuer vous êtes pas content annuler la réservation !!\" J'ai même contacté le services clientèle d'hôtels.com en 2 reprise pour changer l'hotel.
Mais le literie était bon.

It’s okay for the price. The room is small, everything a bit outdated and the location not too great. We did have a pleasant stay, but didn’t stay in the hotel much and only for 2 nights. Price is very good for what you get.

Bon l'accueil, hôtel bien isolé et bonne literie. L'ensemble est vétuste l'hôtel a vraiment besoin d'un rafraîchissement. Moquette, sol des chambres, salle de bain et mobilier du restaurant sont fort abîmés.
