Great central location for exploring beautiful Caen, with L'Abbaye aux Hommes <10 minute walk. The staff is courteous, the bed is comfy and the breakfast options are good. Lots of noise from the street/bars throughout the night of our stay but that's not the hotel's fault.

Cet hôtel est idéalement situé à 5 min du château et de la mairie (Abbaye aux Hommes) à 30 sec de la rue piétonne commerçante principale. Le personnel est délicieux (surtout avec une sauce à la crème :p). Le petit déjeuner proposé est excellent.
La chambre était un peu exiguë, mais pas non plus carcérale. Il y a de la place, mais sans excès. La literie est correcte.
Côté un peu moins bien : les chambres qui donnent sur la rue sont un peu bruyantes (confirmé par le gérant), donc boules Quiès obligatoires pour ceux qui ont le sommeil léger, surtout si vous venez en été : les chambres ne sont pas climatisées.
Le point le plus discutable concerne l'état de la moquette, qui est tâchée est un peu partout, y compris dans les escaliers. C'est dommage, parce que sinon, c'est un hôtel très pratique, et l'équipe est vraiment charmante.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour à l'Ibis Styles de Caen, avec une mention spéciale pour l’accueil très agréable du personnel et l’emplacement idéal en plein cœur de la ville, parfait pour explorer le centre historique à pied.
Cela dit, comparé à d’autres hôtels de la même enseigne, nous avons été un peu moins séduits. Le confort de la literie ne nous a pas totalement convenu (même si cela reste subjectif), et l’absence de climatisation, bien que justifiée par un choix écologique que nous saluons, s’est avérée difficile à compenser. Enfin, si la décoration moderne apporte de la gaieté, elle ne parvient pas totalement à masquer un certain vieillissement des installations.
Malgré ces points, cet hôtel reste un bon choix pour un séjour à Caen, notamment grâce à son emplacement central et à la gentillesse de son équipe.
Cela dit, comparé à d’autres hôtels de la même enseigne, nous avons été un peu moins séduits. Le confort de la literie ne nous a pas totalement convenu (même si cela reste subjectif), et l’absence de climatisation, bien que justifiée par un choix écologique que nous saluons, s’est avérée difficile à compenser. No parece un hotel de tres estrellas. Las instalaciones son antiguas y se encuentran en mal estado. La habitación es muy pequeña , el colchón en mal estado, la cama no parece de dos plazas , es muy pequeña , el baño tuvimos que pedir que arreglaran la ducha , también muy pequeño y al usar la ducha queda todo mojado. Attention au choix de votre chambre, car celles donnant sur la rue peuvent être bruyantes, cela reste un quartier animé. pour ma part, j’avais demandé une chambre au calme qui donnait sur les toits et c’était parfait. Parking indigo juste en dessous de l’hôtel. Mais attention pas de partenariat, 22 € pour 24 heures sinon se garer dans une rue à proximité. Le stationnement étant gratuit la nuit. Le personnel à l’accueil vraiment super. Nous ont super bien conseillé pour notre séjour. Avions malheureusement une chambre qui donnait sur la rue et c’était la rentrée étudiante du jeudi soir dans les bars…Nous ont changé facilement changé de chambre pour le lendemain. Seul problème il n'y a pas de possibilité de se garer auprès de l'hôtel. Il faut utiliser le parking payant dont le coût est prohibitif de l'ordre de 20 à 30 € par jour. Il serait souhaitable qu'un accord soit pris avec le concessionnaire et l'hôtel pour une location de nuit à des prix plus habituels de l'ordre de 10 €
