It's in kind of a slummy area. If you're staying for one or two nights it's good. If you are staying longer you might want a little more modern and bigger room. But it was ok.

Only dislike was the amount of people smoking in the halls and too.s and right outside our window! As non smokers this is really unpleasant. But in Europe it seems smoking is pretty common still.

The hotel is good, clean and comfortable. However it doesn’t have any designated parking and I found it difficult to find a parking space nearby. Luckily on a Sunday night parking was free until 0930 on the Monday morning

How low can we go?
I never stayed in such a small place with the smelliest toilet/shower combination and bathroom door that barely opened and closed past the bed. We were allowed to check in early but reception lacked any friendliness or warmth. Location was next to our car rental and across the street from the train station which was exactly what we needed. I would consider other hotel options adjacent to this hotel in the future.

Perfect location for the station. Good wifi and helpful staff. Did not need parking and did not have breakfast. Did the job as described but it is a budget option, room has all essentials but no kettle or refrigerator. Fine for 1 or 2 nights but would not want to stay any longer .

Hotel was basic but that is what the description said - we had a one night stay over an route to ferry - the area around the hotel appeared run down and there were some homeless / alcoholics just over the road - this would put me off saying again and not for children.

Good place for an overnight stay if you need to get an early train. Regrettably we had neighbours that were up most of the night talking and arguing. Location of hotel is right across from the train station but also seemed to be in a “rougher” neighbourhood. Room was good size for 2 people for a short stay. Linen was clean. Mop however left clump of hairs on floor from previous people(s). Thankful floor was not carpet! Front staff were fast and nice.

Mostly this was perfect for what we needed--to lay down and sleep, get up early and catch a train. However, after travelling all day from London, England all I wanted was a hot shower and there was no hot water. Additionally, I suspect there may be bed bugs and I showed up with bites the next day. However, this is not uncommon for even 5 star hotels and it did appear quite clean, if nothing else. These room are VERY bare bones but if all you need is a place to lay your head for the night that is comfortable and the door locks, this is the place. Oh, and we couldn't figure out how to work the television.

We were offered 2.5 euros per person, per day. higher than that would not be worth it. Room is clean, but small. Dining area is clean. Breakfast includes croissants, chocolate pastries, ham, turkey meats, different flavors of yogurt, coffee, expresso, cappuccino, french bread and apple. Wash basin is in the room, while toilet and shower are in the bathroom. Plenty of hot water available. My mattress was firm but had an uncomfortable central depression. (My wife had no problem with her mattress.) The comforter will keep you toasty warm all night.

50m from the Train Station door which was great as I arrived late. The hotel is in a not so nice an area as are most train stations in Europe. The hotel staff were really helpful. The breakfast was good. My only complaint would be that the don't have a luggage room to leave bags.

Just spending the night
Finding parking was a little hard, luckily there was someone leaving their spot right in front of the hotel, so I snagged that spot. It is a little inconvenient because you have to pay for the parking, but luckily on the weekends you don't have to pay for parking. The person that greeted me was very kind, and helped me get to my room. The hotel is very small and you can fit about 4 people total in the elevator. The room was clean enough. The hotel is also right infront of the train station so that is convenient too.

We had a problem with our rental car which was not available when it should have been. The car rental office was closed but the hotel manager, Turkes Farok, went way out of his way to help us. This man is a Saint. We were able to arrange a train but as 'plan B' he was ready to have his colleage drive us to our next location. THIS IS THE PLACE TO STAY! If you have ANY problem, the hotel staff is there to help you.

As a single lady traveller I felt so uncomfortable and not safe as there were always groups of men hanging outside the entrane of the hotel and on the whole street. I did not feel safe to go out at night or return to the hotel at night. There was one early morning, 01:41 to be exact, when I was awaken by the noise of a group of drunken men just outside my room. THey were very noisy, smoking and went up and down the floors of the hotel until about 03:00. IT was a terrifying experirnce. There was no phone in the room to ring the reception. I will have a second thought of staying there again.

You get what you pay for
The two things this hotel has going for it: very cheap, and close to the train station. But I could not recommend this even on those criteria. It is in a sleazy neighborhood, lots of street noise. No A/C, the window has a chain to prevent opening more than a crack so it was also stifling. I woke up sweating. The bed was also hard as a rock. Not a restful experience for me, but it was cheap! So if none of the above bothers you, then have a go at it.

I was happy overall with this hotel and having stayed there last year felt it was cleaner and fresher looking, not so tired. The tram into the centre was easily accessed and frequent. My only misgiving was the area. I have often felt that being 'proche la gare' is often not the best part of town.

Ok frukost men dåligt påfyllt för ungdomen som ville sova länge och kom ner sista halvtimmen. Gullig personal. Det positiva vann över att läget kändes lite otryggt. Hade inte velat gå dit ensam sent på kvällarna, men vi var tre vuxna tillsammans och kändes det ok.
