Lo negativo: Check in hasta las 5pm en adelante, no había secadora de cabello en la habitación, hay que pedirla prestada en la recepción, la calefacción no trabajo bien en mi habitación en temporada invernal y el desayuno bastante limitado. Aspectos positivos: Parqueo gratuito y varios supermercados cerca.

Great overnight motel.
This was an overnight stop having travelled by ferry from Portsmouth earlier the same day.
I have stayed in a good many Premiere Classe motels over the years and this was by far the best one.
My only grip is that the check in closes at 9pm. Which for a motel close to a ferry port which has ferries arriving routinely at 10pm is frustrating. There is an machine for checking in late, this works but is time consuming and frustrating to use especially in the dark!

Unfortunately there was a problem with the booking as it was showing on Expedia but not on the hotel’s system. Therefore we couldn’t have the 2 rooms one next to the other but they had to give us 2 rooms on 2 different floors.
In the toilet the only soap was the one in the shower.

It was clean, very reasonable price, quiet. There was a restaurant within 5 mins walk and it is in easy reach of the ferry terminal. A bit tucked away on a business park. Look out for the huge sign on the roof saying HOTEL.

It was a nice hotel! Very clean. on the outskirts of Caen but there is a bus stop a couple of minutes away from it. However I would not recommend paying €6 for the breakfast. It is only bread and yogurt, definitely not worth €6 you could get much better for cheaper elsewhere. Other than that everything was great!

They gave us a handicapped room (even though we are not handicapped) and the worst thing is that the toilet didn't work for three days and we had to go to the bathroom in the lobby... terrible situation.

We arrived after the reception was closed, which was ok since it's meant to be 24/7 and got a confirmation of this via email previously. Upon arrival, the automated machine wouldn't deliver the room card so I went inside and called the number for emergencies. After a few attempts and 30min wait, the hotel \"receptionist\" for emergencies was shouting from the window at me and asking 3 times if I used the machine, of which I had to repeat that it wasn't working. He was extremely rude and still charged me for city tax a 3rd time even though I already paid at the machine twice (which went through). Overall a stressful stay, appalling customer service and a place you should avoid.

Once we were in bed we tried to log-in to the wi-fi and it would not recognise our name and room number so clearly they had not entered our new room booking on the system

Surprisingly good breakfast. Late arrival was warned that it would be unmanned machine to unlock gate not working. Luckily more savvy people found out that reception was manned so was able to park. Very friendly staff.

I was unable to book in to the hotel! Despite trying to contact them several times before travelling to inform them of my late arrival. I was further delayed by the ferry being two and a half hours late. Again I tried contacting the hotel to inform them of this without success. When arriving at the hotel the automatic book in machine didn't recognise my name or booking confirmation number! I was locked out! I contacted Expedia and they had exactly the same lack of success contacting the hotel and eventually had to find a different hotel for me.

For the price, this is a great place to stay. The room and bathroom is small, feeling more like a dorm room with no frills, but it is clean and pleasant, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The lady that checked us in was extremely friendly and efficient. We arrived later in the evening when dining options were limited, and she provided a good recommendation not far away for dinner. It is easy to find if you're traveling by car. It is conveniently located close to everything we wanted to see in Normandy. For the price, it is a clean, pleasant place, and I would definitely stay there again. Highly recommend.

Stayed 1 night after arriving late at Ouistreham. A bit difficult to find due to insufficient street lighting but it’s in an area still being developed.

There was no staff to help after 10pm. We booked two rooms together and our rooms were on separate floors.
The sink in one room was clogged so we could not use it for our whole stay. There was no staff to help till the next morning to fix it. Also one room was adjoining to another so it was very loud and the person in the next room was very loud very early in the morning yet again there was no staff to speak to about it. Horrible experience

Rooms were clean and basic but comfortable. Nice big beds and good showers. No kettle etc but machine in the reception. We took our own travel kettle etc having learnt before!

Horrible. Window was left open so there were bugs in the room when we got there. Air conditioner dripped all night and leaked to the point it left a huge puddle at the door. Was told that some condensation is normal - that was not some and that they are not going to do anything about it. They don't provide hand soap so you have to go into the shower to get the liquid soap on the wall. Had the DO NOT DISTURB sign on door but they came into the room while we were not there and left the door ajar where anyone could have entered and taken our stuff. There was no hair dryer either.and the WIFI was unuseable!!

The room and the bathroom were clean, but really small and basic, not even a hair dryer. The shower didn't have a screen or door, resulting in flooding, with gondolas not provided. The cleaning staff managed to clear all the water every day though, which was good. No voiles on the curtains, so if you are facing the offices, as we were, you will have to shut the night curtains or have the neighbours witness your every move. We found the breakfast on offer unappealing, so we preferred to get our breakfast stuff from the organic shop down the road, which had very nice food. Good restaurants nearby. Not everybody at reception is well-trained to deal with customers.

Satnav found hotel without difficulty although in a slightly dark remote corner approaching from ferry port. We had a top floor end room which according to the map of rooms was slightly larger than most. Bathroom excellent, no soap or hairdryer though latter was available from reception if you left your passport! Quiet night, excellent sleep didn't bother with breakfast as was starting long drive down to Spain. Would use again on return trip. Just needed extra pillows as the one each provided was not enough.

We booked for a 3 night stay whilst we visited Normandy. The hotel was very clean & pleasant and staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was just on the outskirts of Caen & easy to find. Would definitely recommend if looking for somewhere to put your head down for a short break.

The room was very very simple, giving you the impression of being unfinished, and it's not us being picky, the simplicity made us feeling unwelcome, the room would really do with some decoration, even if it was a silly picture at the wall.

Best budget hotel we have stayed in. Small but adequate rooms, very clean, air con a blessing, great shower, decent enough continental buffet breakfast. Plenty of eating places around even though it’s an industrial area and 20 mins from Caen ferry port.

The hotel room was as pictured (small but what we were expecting). It was clean enough but smelled very musty. The worst part was the wifi as it was difficult to connect and when connected was extremely slow. This was unfortunate for us as we were travelling without cellular or data so we rely on wifi at our hotels to research our destinations and plan our routes on google maps, as well as stay connected with family.

Me and my family we only slept for one night. Considering it is a 2 star hotel I was a good night for the money we paid. At breakfast time they could to with a little bit more variety of food. Over all a good hotel.

Firstly, smoking from other rooms enters your room, as assumed this is a no smoking hotel clearly guests are ignoring this. Secondly the noise from next door is shocking you can hear everything as the walls and connecting door are not soundproofed enough. Apart from that, comfortable and clean

Hotel was newly built and was very clean and well maintained. Bit noisy at night as ppl tend to congregate at the front of the hotel and the noise travels. Other than that great value for money and everything you need close by.

If you think you're going this hotel is 5-star you'll be disappointed. But, check the website and go through the photos. It was precisely as indicated. Perfect for those who use a hotel as a place to crash at the end of the day and to leave early in the morning. It is very clean and while spartan, who needs fake paintings on the walls? My only minor downgrade is the bed was a bit thin and uncomfortable but I still slept very well. What was remarkable was the staff. Like many North American tourists (I'm Canadian) I've had some bad experiences with French people. Perhaps it's because this hotel is smack in the path of the D-Day invasion and locals know and remember the sacrifices made by allied troops but, that aside, the desk staff were exceptionally helpful and understanding. I had a reservation problem which they took upon themselves to completely sort out for me. They did it quickly and with smiles. They really helped make my trip memorable and as comfortable as possible.

As before, if you are looking for somewhere cheap to put your head for the night, it does exactly what you want it to. Nice decor, clean and comfortable. If you are looking for mod cons, go somewhere else.

Terrible. Do not book this hotel. We had a prepaid reservation and when we arrived our room was hot and muggy. We tried to turn on the a/c but it didn't work. When we inquired at reception we were told (not nicely) that they don't turn on the a/c for the entire building until late summer. We were surprised because the property specs do say it provides a/c. Also, it had been in the 80\"s the last couple of days. The lady said nothing she can do. This was unacceptable and we left and had to go find a different hotel. I complained to hotels.com and they just gave me a $20 voucher which is also unacceptable.

Stayed for one night ahead of beaches tour. Hotel is clean, friendly and new so whilst small and functional is perfect for the purpose. Also very close to Caen Memorial and the road to the coast. For a base to tour the western beaches you'll do well to find better value.

We arrived very late due to the timing of the ferry but we thought all was fine as I had notified the hotel and been given a 10digit entry code.What we weren't told was that the entry machine was at the gate.
It took my husband 15 minutes of sheer frustration to finally get a room key and door entry code. This service needs improving as the hotel isn't staffed after 6pm.
The room was fine with a very good bathroom and excellent shower. The beds comfortable with clean linen. However french hotels must do something about the breakfasts they charge for. A complete travisty at this hotel definitely not worth the charge. Better to find the nearest McDonald's.
For an overnight stay with no breakfast definitely recommended.

Good stay at budget hotel
We stay in many many hotels whilst we travel throughout Europe looking after people's homes and pets, and quite often choose Premiere Classe because of its cost. To our minds this is one of the best - a very spacious room due to my husband's temporary disability, a great location for visiting the Caen Memorial and also only 25 minutes from the pretty villages and towns along sea front to the north.
We found the location with ease and when we arrived we used the automated service at the gate - a very easy procedure as long as you know your name - and went straight to our room, which was clean and with comfortable bed.
There is a restaurant a few blocks away in the same road, Le Tablier, where we had a great meal.
All in all, a good experience and one that we would repeat when in this area.

This hotel does exactly what you want. Clean new rooms, simple but cheap. Easy to find on the Caen Peripherique and totally fuss free check in and out. Ideal stop before or after a ferry crossing into Caen.

This hotel was difficult to find. SAT NAV was unable to locate it as it was buried in a business park. Very clean and utilitarian but the hotel night staff were unhelpful. (Just too much trouble to locate a couple of extra pillows despite the fact that the hotel was virtually empty on a Sunday night or provide useful advice on where to go and how to get there.)
