This hotel is really clean. I was treated to room service everyday. The spa was beautiful well kept and lots of relaxing seating. They had tea on the go whenever you want. The hotel location suited me because i was visiting my family, but the area is very isolated not much going on. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. I did not have breakfast because i thought it should've been included!

Wir sind sehr glücklich mit der Unterkunft gewesen. Wir waren auf Schalke zu Fußball, von dort aus ist es nur ein Katzensprung mit dem Taxi zum Stadion. Besonders gefallen hat uns die Sportsbar, die mit dem Restaurant und dem Hotel verbunden ist, das war der perfekte Trip in angenehmer Atmosphäre.

Wir waren schon des Öfteren dort und es war immer sehr gut. Diesmal hatten wir leider Pech mit dem Zimmer. Unser Zimmer hatte eine Verbindungstür zum Nebenzimmer die leider nicht schalldicht war. Die Planung war nicht glücklich, da im Nebenzimmer ein Kleinkind war, welches die halbe Nacht geweint hat. An Schlaf war nicht zudenken. Sind dann in der Nacht noch umgezogen in ein anderes Zimmer. Dafür Danke an den Mitarbeiter der sehr kurzfristig und professionell geholfen hat. Sonst war alles wieder top.

Das Hotel ist gut ausgestattet und der Service dem Preis entsprechend gut. Die Zimmer sind groß, gepflegt und in gutem Zustand. Klimaanlage und Badeinrichtung sind super auch wenn eine Glasschiebetür für uns nicht der richtige Badezimmerabschluss zum Schlafraum ist. Die Umgebung ist etwas abseits der Stadt direkt an der Bahnlinie. Es gibt nur wenige freie Parkplätze am Haus.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Heiner's Parkhotel und werden es beim nächsten Mal auf jeden Fall wieder buchen. Leider ist der check-in um 15:00 Uhr etwas spät und das Vorbeirattern der Güterzüge auch nicht so prickelnd. Für eine Nacht hat uns das aber nicht gestört, und wir haben dann auch den Tipp erhalten, das nächste Mal eine Juniorsuite zu buchen, da diese nicht auf die Gleise hinausgehen. Das alles aber war unwichtig, da bei unserer Ankunft die Schalkespieler noch vor Ort waren, und wir sogar ein paar Selfies mit ihnen machen konnten. Ein absolut gelungener Aufenthalt also - und das Frühstück ist wirklich super!

Wir waren zwei Nächte im Hotel und haben uns vor Ort noch entschieden auch hier zu frühstücken. Als Hotelgast kostet es 10€ p.P. und die sind mehr als gerechtfertigt!

Problemloser check-in, freundliches Personal und tolles Ambiente im ganzen Haus. Das Frühstücksbuffet hatte alles zu bieten und es wurde auch sofort nachgelegt wenn etwas fehlte. Die Nähe zur Veltins-Arena war für uns super da wir ein Konzert dort besucht haben. Man kam gut mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln zur Arena oder einfach mit dem Taxi. Rundherum ein super Hotel - jederzeit gerne wieder.

Room: The room is really modern and looks great. It gives the hotel a modern expensive style, great. One drawback for the room itself is that it had a minibar which had a strange cooling system which made noises (ticking) annoying at some times.....
bathroom: The bathroom looks great styled and is really big. I liked the modern look with the brown tints in it. Also here a downside that since i was on the first floor, if someone showered or flushed it seems to use the same drainage and the drain of my shower was making water draining noises.
Services: The Wifi is free and fast, so use it to the full extend, you can use up to 2 devices at the same time. For the rest you get some candy and some coffee/thee/etc. in the room. There is also a minibar you can use if you want.
neighborhood: The plus side is the looks of the surrounding and that it should be quiet. Should..... The hotel is situated next to an active railroad which is used heavy for transporting goods. Almost every 15 to 30 minutes a train passes the hotel and it's not a soundproof hotel. The room i had was next to the railroad with only 3 rooms in between so i requested a new room. unf. the hotel was fully booked at that day. This was kind of irritating since i am not used to sleeping next to the railroad.

neighborhood: The plus side is the looks of the surrounding and that it should be quiet. Should..... The hotel is situated next to an active railroad which is used heavy for transporting goods. Almost every 15 to 30 minutes a train passes the hotel and it's not a soundproof hotel. The room i had was next to the railroad with only 3 rooms in between so i requested a new room. unf. the hotel was fully booked at that day. This was kind of irritating since i am not used to sleeping next to the railroad.
