Villa San Michele is an exclusive hotel nestled in the green hills of the Lucca countryside, about 4 km from the historic center of Lucca, among centuries-old olive groves and vineyards. The hotel has 20 rooms spread over two floors for every needs: Classic double rooms on the ground floor, Classic double rooms with a view, some with a balcony to enjoy the view of the surrounding countryside, and Deluxe rooms and Junior Suites that can accommodate 3 people on the first and second floor.

The hotel features free parking on the property and a seasonal swimming pool. The San Michele Restaurant is open for dinner from Wednesday to Monday with an à la carte menu.

We had to scramble to book this reservation the day or our stay because our VRBO cancelled our reservation. We couldn't have been happier. We had a great stay!

The people were awesome! The Italian villa feel to the place was great, and the breakfast was amazing! We only had one night in Lucca, but wished we could have spent more time there, and in this amazing hotel.

Very elegant accommodations in a very elegant setting. Villa San Michele is everything an Italian villa should be! The building is timeless and the interior is glamorous. The entire staff is welcoming, professional, and friendly!! The wine list is extensive, the food is as imaginative as it is delicious! Very convenient to Lucca and Pisa. Plenty of on-site parking. Too cool to enjoy the pool, but the setting was lovely.

Beautiful 15th century villa , with manicured grounds . Restaurant was excellent, but rather expensive . Bfst was excellent. 4 km out of Lucca on Busy highway , so couldnt walk into town . Partially offset by a bus route appropriately 600 meters from property. Enjoyed walks in the countryside. Loved our stay overall !!

Lovely memories.

From the moment of arrival to leaving, we were thoroughly looked after. Amazing team of staff, all extremely accommodating. Wonderful food in the restaurant and a delicious breakfast.
Very comfortable bed and efficient air conditioning in room. Beautiful pool with plenty of space and loungers.
If you don’t mind a short walk down the road to the bus stop, there are regular buses to Lucca (number 54), and not so regular to Pisa (E3).

The villa is in a quiet village outside of Lucca, ideally to get around you would need a car. We only stayed one night so got taxis to and from the hotel. The staff were all lovely and went above and beyond. The food in the restaurant is fantastic and reasonably priced. The rooms are big and airy. The garden and pool are beautiful and it is in a quiet peaceful and relaxing location surrounded by mountains and trees. We would highly recommend staying here if you would like a relaxing tranquil place to stay

Lovely villa with outstanding staff, a fantastic breakfast, and an excellent \"outdoor\" (glass-enclosed, heated, and probably cooled in summer) restaurant looking into the gardens. Too early in the season for the pool. All-in-all a thoroughly delightful time.

Perhaps this hotel has been recently renovated? It is calm and relaxing, pleasingly renovated and decorated inside and with beautiful gardens. The staff are tremendous. A small plumbing problem was dealt with very quickly - change of room, moved our luggage…just an excellent atmosphere.

Vakkert st

Veldig vakkert og hyggelig sted. Fine folk som jobbet der. Anbefaler ett av de to rommene med balkong. Eneste som trekker ned er madrassen, den var knallhard og vond for ryggene våre i hvert fall. Nydelig svømmebassengområde. God frokost.

Väldigt mysigt ställe men är nog som trevligast när det är varmt ute och man kan njuta av trädgården och poolen. Vi bodde ovanför entrén och tyvärr så lät det en del från entrédörren men annars mycket bra!

Fantastisk uge på hyggeligt hotel.

Fantastisk dejligt, hyggeligt og romatisk hotel - med masser af mulighed for ren afslapning lige uden for Lucca.

Super god service og humør fra alle på hotellet.

Havde en forstilling om at man kunne gå de 4 km til Lucca - men de første 1,5 km er på meget trafikeret landevej og unden fortov/gå sti - så ikke så sikkert.

Charmerende villa, have og udsigt til bjergene

Hotellet er indrettet i en 400 år gammel charmerende villa i smuk have udenfor Lucca.
Lidt svært at finde da mange veje hedder 'Via delle chiesa', men god hjælp fra receptionen efter opkald.
God morgenmad, men restauranten er ikke så spændende til middag. Der findes nogle gode i gåafstand fra hotellet.

Wir haben die Lokalität wegen dem Restaurant ausgewählt, leider war es nicht ersichtlich, dass es seit tagen geschlossen war. Wir bekamen eine Liste von Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung und ein grösseres Zimmer.
Ein sehr schöne Villa in gepflegter Umgebung. Toller Pool!
In die Zimmerausstattung sollte dringend investiert werden, geschmackloses Mobiliar, kein einziges Bild, veraltetes Bad.
Sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Staff, vielseitiges Frühstücksbuffet.
